Alert
We found a memory leak in leonArdo.
This will eventually cause leonArdo to crash once RAM is exceeded. Depending on how many pairs you have running it could take anywhere between 2 and 7 days.
What can you do?
1) After you have set up your strategies, right click the strategy button and save all. 2) Restart leonArdo before it runs out of memory to avoid a crash.
We are working hard to fix the issue. The fix will also include CPU optimizations.
Best wishes, Jonathan
Im loving the cloud service, once the memory leak is sorted, i would only need to check in now and again, and Get my life back, Crypto is a cruel mistress, she punishes you when you don't pay her enough attention

I think there no best bitcoin trading bot because it is still a program or a robot where it can't analyze the market. If you want a profitable way in doing trading then do manual, because it can help you and give you a great chance to make profits. When you are doing manual trading, its helping you to enhance your knowledge so to the future trades you will be more confident that you are doing the right thing.
What you say is true but you cant trade 10 markets 24/7

I have been using Leonardo Market maker for almost a year now. It has, all round been great, constantly being developed and improved, support has been fast, when needed. At the end of the day it is still a trading tool and you still need to choose the markets. If you start trading with a bot at the top of a pump, you will very likely still be underwater for a while. But if you fire them up on buy signals they can be quiet profitable. I used quatloo trade briefly, with much pain as it made a few decisions i didn't agree with. And tried using butterbot but i fired it up at the top of a btc spike, so it was underwater for a long time. You can trial the bot before purchase, if you do go ahead and purchase please use dan_and_shan in the referral box. Ill get a small referral bonus I would definitely recommend Leonardo, it paid for itself in the first few days. http://marginsoftware.de/product.html https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1467939.0 Happy Trading

Hi!
Great bot, thanks for your hard work!
How do I adjust different time frames for different coins? For example ETH strategy should show 6h window and LTC 1D. Now if I change the time frame in one window, all other windows change tooand the depth view is gone, I need to manually get it back with right mouse.
Thanks
Nico
When you create a strategy, in the "statistic intervals" box, you specify the time frames you want to use, eg. 24 =24 hours or 72= 3 days etc Thanks for your answer, but that was not what i meant. Sorry, but english is not my mother language. I mean the the time window selection left to the indicator symbol. Setting it to 6h in the ETH strategy sets it to 6h in all my stragetys in all tabs of different coins :-( You just select the market you want to view and click the timeframe you want to see But then all my markets change to the selected timeframe. I want to leave ETH on 6h and LTC on 1m. It saves the the last click on all my tabs of coins. i want to have them different for each coin selecting 6h on my DASH tab makes it 6h on my XMR tab too, but I want to have this on 1m and DASh on 6h. LOL, you ll just have to live with the extra mouse click

Nice one seems a lot more stable, No crashes or double trades so far, 24 hours up. Bittrex- 5 markets 3 bots. Polo- 8 markets 6 bots. BTCe- 1 market 1 bot. Bitfinex- 1 market. The only thing at the moment is Bittrex is'nt reporting trade history on the chart or in the completed trades bottom left. But it does show them in the notifications tab. The bot seems to follow the same strategy, but just not showing it on the interactive display. And Bitfinex is still having trouble placing bids. Polo is awesome atm, BTCe is running fine, Bittrex is trading fine This is amazing to see how this is evolving, I have complete faith you guys are building something awesome here. Thanx for all your hard work, This release is feeling awesome Thanks a lot dan_and_shan! The fix is in (on OS X and Windows, Linux will follow later in the morning) for bittrex completed orders not showing. Great that it has been so stable. Of course there is still the chance the bot might stop if the API breaks down for a period which is just too long. Best wishes, Jonathan Edit: Linux version is also up. Awesome Bittrex history is back, and Bitfinex placed the first bid. Thanks mate

leonArdo version 3.3 released- Important stability issues relating to erroneous data being returned by Poloniex API
- Collapsable fund and margin account info widgets - more space for currency tabs!
- Fixed the very annoying "poloniex: error querying margin funds: json2::TypeError: asObject called on non Object" debug message
- Bug fixes
This looks like a small release, but actually it required a huge effort from the team. As some of you also noticed Poloniex was experiencing difficulties over the last few weeks due to really high loads. This meant that orders got cancelled but the API sometimes said the cancel failed. Or a placed order went through but the API said it didn't. This could result in the bot placing a double order. There were many more issues we had to solve which meant some thousand new lines of code had to be written. We hope that we have caught everything now, but stay vigilant and let us know if you encounter anything strange. How can you get your copy?If you are an existing customer you can simply click on the "update available" link on the leonArdo login screen and download this version. Or if you are new just head over to website to check us out. You can also download a demo version of leonArdo from the website to try before you buy. Sounds good. TY.
We did find a solution to at least 2 of the issues, but there are more things we need to handle. Actually it is requiring some thousands of lines of code to get it as stable as we want it to be. Please be patient and know that we are working our asses off to get this done. Thanks for your support, Jonathan You guys are champions, love your work

I have an issue with my leonArdo. There was a "crash" when I attempted a normal shutdown of the program. When I went to use it the next time, I do not have more than 6 or so hours of history showing in my charts.
How do I fix this?
Thank you!
That happens now and again, a restart usually loads all market data, some times twice, i think it is api not responding quickly enough, but not really sure.

Hello;
While we are talking about bot behaviors, I want to remind the developers and learn the users' opinions about a feature suggest I mentioned before.
You can not change the limits and parameters while bots are running,
but in my opinion it will be more effective to be able to change parameters while bots are running.
An easy way of implementation is when user suspend the bot let user change parameters and limits and after clicking resume
optionally margin maker calculate the next order accordingly or refresh order directly. So we do not have to stop bot, wait for order cancelation, change parameter, start again.
for static ping pong after suspending bot and changing parameters the order can be directly updated accordingly.
Best Regards
I agree this would be fantastic

Just a general question, I am having a few issues on Bitfinex, I can only assume the bot is trying to be too precise, is there a way to buy and sell just down to 1 decimal? Eg. $1250.5 bot keeps stopping and this is the error that comes up in real time on the exchange " Invalid order price precision (5 sig figures limit)."
Price Precision The precision level of all trading prices is calculated based on significant figures.
For all pairs on Bitfinex we use 5 significant digits. Examples of five significant digits would be 12.123, 1.1234, 123.43, and 1234.5.
This mimics how traditional global markets dynamically handle precision of small, medium, and larger values. The rationale behind this is that the higher the amount the less relevant the number of decimals becomes. The corollary is true for very small amounts, where more precision is more useful.
Note: API will truncate price with precision > 5

Do you have any members in your development team? Or you are running a one man show?
I've already brought on two other developers and have another person handling the business side (registration, discussion with lawyers, etc.). If you'd like to talk with any of us on Discord simply look for those who are listed as a Novus Member. Thanks. Thank you for your reply, and you do seem to indeed be fair in coin distribution. (I may wait a few days before pulling some funds from elsewhere but will invest, with both bitcoin and vidz).
No problem, I'll add a disclaimer to the OP about it in case anyone has the same question in the future. Thats great to hear. I think it makes sense to look into legal ramifications and regulations. As it stands, im pretty sure exchanges like Polo could'nt add VIDZ if they wanted too. Purely because of legal ramifications, as they have some pretty strict guidelines.

Stick with it Bryce, If you can tap into this market, It would only take a few well known artist to realize. They can deal directly with the public and distribute their music through an automated payment system, Bypassing manufacture and distribution costs, commissions and royalties to the record label. It would be sure to get some serious attention, and definitely have potential to be massive, the content could be streamed through wallet or an APP like spotify, to mobile devises. I think the concept is fantastic! Good luck https://youtu.be/RW65T5SjFeA
