81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 16, 2016, 06:51:15 PM
He said publicly in the FUD den that Frank's dumping would only make it cheaper to buy back coins. I'm not finding the search function to be very helpful, so either he deleted it (which makes sense if he wants a good price), or the search function is crap.

I don't feel like helping the manipulators do their job, so I'm not saying anything else I could say. I underestimated the suppression tactics being played, but just know that anyone who claims the insiders don't believe in StartCoin's future is very wrong. I won't be selling a single coin at a loss and I'll be actively trading this market as my primary focus.

From here on out people need to make their own decisions. My naive attempts to help out noobs are only hurting my own interests. Considering I'm just getting attacked I'm done being the martyr. Time to make some money.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 16, 2016, 05:25:45 PM
Look at the sell walls. No one is putting their sell orders at 2k+ and hoping to sell. That only drives the price down, which would be self-defeating. There's only one reason for those walls... suppression. I GUARANTEE IT. The FUD is way, way beyond reasonable and detached from reality and I'm starting to think Frank's tantrum was a ploy to drive it down further. He can't be that stupid... can he? Even the FUDers in chat let slip now and then that they want to buy low. What's going on is clear.  I know it's hard to see for people who haven't sat here for years staring at these markets day in and day out, but I can tell you this: I have NO fear of losing in the long run. My only uncertainty is the time frame.

Karl said publicly he's interested in buying back coins for SCH and that these low prices will make it easier. Anyone who claims he's trying to abandon the coin is full of shit and has an ulterior motive. They even tried to freak people out by threatening a 51% attack or fork, which was utter nonsense. Just more FUD.

I'm almost done with my bot and then I'm going to attempt to trade this range and build a floor with the profits. I just have to be careful not to remove anything at a loss because I don't want to get burnt when these games end and the pump blows right past me. Wish me luck.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 15, 2016, 05:13:22 PM
It's dumping because of FUD and manipulation. As the sell wall owner buys they're flipping it to make the sell wall bigger... pushing down until they're full. The only people who will lose to this game will be the ones selling to them. Larger wallets are growing. Smaller wallets are the ones selling. As usual, the rich get richer.

You'll see.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 14, 2016, 08:54:58 PM
You are just too funny. I still wonder if this is all a joke or serious.

Yes, people of low character have a hard time understanding the motivations of people with good character.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 14, 2016, 04:07:11 PM
Oooook. Now you see why professional teams like StartJoin don't get involved in the troll's den that is Bitcointalk.

At this point I've exposed the game being played and anyone with some sense knows how to play it. It's in your hands now. I have better shit to do than try and save people from themselves while shady people attack me. You're right, I have nothing personal to gain by doing this. Unfortunately I actually care about noobs and don't like to see them manipulated.

I think I've done my part. I'll be here accumulating at these ridiculously suppressed prices and when the time comes hopefully some of you will profit with me. If not, I guess you deserve your losses. I may post some updates here, but I'm no longer responding to people who all have their own hidden agendas and continually repeat things that have already been addressed.

Last piece of advice: Don't listen to anyone, not even me. Do your own research.

Ah yeah, a bag of premium beef jerky and 72 oz of Belgian white ale to celebrate the bounty of cheap coins the mentally ill dumper is raining down on me. =)

Talked to Karl earlier. These guys are so full of shit it's ridiculous. Sell to them and you reward scammers at your own loss. 600k market cap right now and #102 on the coinmarketcap list last I checked, alongside some of the most bullshit coins out there... for a coin with more going for it than 99% of the coins in existence. All because of one crybaby with more money than sense.

You are looking at a FEAST my friends. This is a gift you will not likely see ever again. Congrats to those with the sense to see it.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste."

Cheers!

LOL, these guys are getting so obvious it's not even worth responding to anymore.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 10:14:38 PM
No problem. Aren't you dumping it to 1800? Have my bags open. Don't let me down.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 09:34:40 PM

Frank = Vulture Fund

Hopefully people can see what's happening right now and recognize the current market conditions are seriously and artificially depressed. This is an opportunity you won't see again.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 08:39:47 PM
Guess I bruised Vulture's ego because he's in the troll chat thumping his chest bragging about dumping it below 2k again. Be ready. He'll be out of coins soon.

Now he's threatening that if Karl doesn't pay a guy StartCoin because of something unrelated to Karl he'll destroy the market. I'm genuinely starting to think this guy is mentally ill.

I'll take the cheap coins, though. This is literally the best thing that could have happened to me. I was buying at 2400 before this. The market never would have gone to this level without this guy. Gotta admit I feel a little bad for him, but nothing I can do about that.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 08:31:09 PM
Not responding to your negativity anymore. I don't see things the way you do. Make your own decisions and I'll make mine. I believe in the project and I'm building my position while it's cheap.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 07:50:30 PM
I have one order and haven't had one filled since yesterday, so your claim I'm the only one buying is complete bullshit. The rest of what you said doesn't make sense, people can judge if I'm "lying" by the logic of my own words. In fact you just agreed 2k is the bottom and even with no other "hype" it could range upward 50%. You also agreed about the suppression. So what am I lying about? You were trying to be a bigshot saying you'd dump for 19 days and destroy the market until Karl did... something or other. You failed and now you're realizing all you did was sell at the bottom that you created.

I'm getting tired of responding to trolls. Buy, sell, or get lost, but stop wasting my time with unfounded claims and shit I've already answered.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 04:34:21 PM
One project I'm thinking about is this: I have an RPG that was online until 3 years ago when I went into trading full time and also had some personal tragedies that made it too difficult for me to focus on such projects. The game world starts out as nothing but rivers, forests, monsters, & resources. Everything in the world (items, buildings, roads, politics, etc.) is created by players who pan the streams, chop down trees, build roads, hunt, gather, or adventure. People used to pay quite a bit of money per capita to play it.

https://www.facebook.com/towrpg/

Ever since getting into crypto I've thought about converting it, or at least a server of it, to a "real money" economy where you can both deposit AND withdraw money.

Before that, however, I'm thinking about some basic games like dice, cards, lotto, etc. that would not only get START off Bittrex, but also provide a sink by sending a portion of profits to a burn address. I already mostly completed a system that allows people to make wagers against each other on Twitter. I also need to complete a bot that's about 80% done which will help with some basic market making tasks. I may even allow other people to take part, which was the original purpose of the name "CrowdWhale".

On a related note, does anyone know a top notch digital artist that's willing to work on a project without being paid in advance, or who might want to get paid via a StartJoin campaign?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 04:07:21 PM
Block halving is in a couple weeks, kinks are being addressed, and meanwhile I'll be proactively helping to find bugs, promote projects, provide liquidity in the market (when it isn't ridiculously low and I'm just buying), and thinking about a project or two of my own I want to list on there. Hopefully other people will be doing the same.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 03:57:49 PM
The platform was released without serious promotion to the community so the kinks could be worked out. That's what's happening right now. It's a slow release, which is wise. New sites this large and complex always have bugs at first. You have people who don't understand that crying about it, plus one guy who literally stated he wanted to tank the price to punish Karl and stopped when he succeeded in artificially getting it "under 2k".

Here's the thing: These facts are why it's so cheap right now. It's all been priced in. So implying it's "falling" is incorrect. It "has fallen".

Just like always there are extra benefits to using START on the site and they've also said they intend to develop START after StartJoin is further along, so saying they don't care about it just isn't true.

If somehow you think, after the trolling and suppression, the price is going to go lower than it did when there was no StartJoin up and running at all, by all means sell. If you think, as I do, that these things have created a temporary opportunity to get the coin at some of the lowest prices ever, by all means buy.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 09:49:13 AM
Yes, we heard you the first time.

We've already seen StartJoin v1 accept more than StartCoin and the price was in the 6500 to 11000 range with spikes to 18768, 55000, and 80000. v2 is in a public beta and will be ramping up over the next weeks, better than v1 ever was. Accepting only SC would be nice and all, but it's not necessary as has been proven already, so don't get carried away with that line of reasoning. No one but the rage-dumper wants to sell below 2k, but people bought as high as 2300 today. That will only improve as SJ ramps up operations. I'm still trying to accumulate (unsuccessfully since people are constantly jumping in front of me with orders), so buy, sell, or whatever you want to do.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 09:21:16 AM
Funny how people make sure to come in every day to talk shit about coins they supposedly aren't interested in. Shady scumbags. Some want a cheaper price. Some sold and want to make sure if they don't profit, no one else will either.

Get a life, please.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 05:17:38 AM
One might say there's no point in holding other currencies on the site if using START gives perks Wink

In any case, I think they owe it to the START community to dedicate themselves to a robust market.

I could make a dice and/or lotto game where half the profits go to a burn address. No idea if anyone would play it.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 13, 2016, 12:37:14 AM
Shapeshift, good point. I wonder how that works. Does it market buy? Definitely need good liquidity to make that work.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 12, 2016, 11:08:15 PM
Go on StartJoin and flood them with requests to accept only fiat and StartCoin. I have. I also suggested they have a function to convert BTC to StartCoin similar to Coinbase. Accepting only StartCoin for projects is a no-brainer if they want to bring liquidity, volume, and a some semblance of stability to the SC market.
