It seems the Zerostake fork option has some community support. I am working out some details in the background and hoping to root up some dev support near term, will update the thread over the weekend success or fail.

What can be done to turn the coin around to 8-10k where it was? How about implementing a quick and dirty anon, which on its own would bump the price up to at least 6-7k.
Look at BTCD with lower specs than ZS, also SHA256, it has 6x or so the number of ZS coins, has no features and only made a promise to implement anon by end of POW and the price is sky high and with that I mean 50k+. I have never seen a coin with 3.8M coins trading at 1000 sats. That is just ridiculous. A quick and dirty anon should do the trick.

I agree with most of your comment jc12345, and already Gir and Srs have shown some willingness to bend to outside pressures for the betterment of the coin when they sanitized the ANN OP. Doing so allowed the coin to appeal to a broader base even if it removed a bit of what made the coin fun in the beginning. I remember when I first got in to ZS and joined IRC, stepped in the room and announced a "Community takeover!", rename the coin to Zerostake, put ANON in the ANN thread title and announce we were going to begin implementing Zerocash protocol in the coin and watch the price skyrocket. It was a joke but it holds a lot of truth, it seems 95% of ANON coins are scams out of the gate, BTCD had 1.5% pre-mine, and was/is an empty shell of a coin bringing 0 to the table and then one guy posts some techno-babble ANON stuff he is only tinkering around with in a broken pre-alpha at that point and the price shoots up 400%. We all know the game, we know the rules and I believe the game can be played to the benefit of your coin/project while staying honest to yourself and the community. Certainly we can't complain when we see everyone else is having great fun on the field while we choose to sit out in the bleachers and watch. Zim is a code blue right now, not flat-lining yet but needing a strong jolt to bring it back to life. Could that be CryptoGir attempting to integrate some hot button items e.g.,ANON into the coin's code? or maybe Gir using his solid rep to attract new devs and ideas to the project? How about this, I try to shake Jhonen Vasquez out of his ivory tower with a single tweet, gaining his admiration and an official Invader Zim seal of approval for the coin (tried and failed).

I don't understand you people... People are selling to this retarded prices and you blame CG? What does price have to do with developer?! Are you into coin or into developer?! Did you forget that the purpose of cryptocurrencies is not to get your asses rich, but to have an option of direct money transaction without fuckers that are taking your money (among other awesome things that crypto provides)? Well, THIS COIN IS WORKING PERFECTLY so if you want bigger price, go ahead AND START ADOPTING ZIMSTAKE, do something, don't just sit there and yell "where is the dev, I am loosing my money! (yes, you, and only YOU are loosing your money. And don't flatter yourself by calling yourself investors because you are not an investor, you are a gambler...)" You are all getting nervous and angry because he is not showing up and the price is collapsing... Well, ok, but, if the price starts to climb again and goes really high WITHOUT CG showing up, will you then tell him he is AWESOME and shouldn't show up by any chance while the price is going up? All I can see is: if the price is going up that is because of the awesome community, but if the price goes down then it is dev to blame and where is dev... Trust me, with that kind of thinking, no one will do anything for you ever (and don't forget he is doing it FOR FREE).

Even if CG is playing games with you, that doesn't mean this coin will die or should die nor does it mean you can't earn money from it... You just need to start doing something other than complaining...
Unfortunately real life adoption and use is a long term thing that can take 6 months to 1 year to get the required volumes. In the meantime, the exchanges like Bittrex will de-list a coin if the average of 0.1BTC per day is not maintained for a while. It is therefore important to create volume. The best way to currently create volume in the short term to maintain the required average is to implement anon, while the longer term services can be built on top of that. Unfortunately the holders cannot do that. Also, there needs to be direction from the "captain" on what to do otherwise hundreds of holders each go on their own tangent. I think all that the people want asap is for anon to be implemented to kick some volume into the coin. In addition, ZS needs to trade at a higher level because there are very little coins, 3.8m. At these low prices one need many coins to buy anything more than a pizza and there simply are not enough coins to go around to pay a lot of ZS at small value each for something. It must be possible to buy a pizza for 5 coins, not 5000 coins. In fact, ZS needs to trade at an extremely high value to be successfully adopted in commerce due to the low coin count, so that you can buy stuff with a fraction of a coin. The best way to kickstart that in a short space of time, that that I know of, is for anon to be implemented asap. In that case I would say FUCK BITTREX (good exchange but unfortunately they are destroying crypto since all they think of is their profit, which is legit but NOT when you are DIRECTLY influencing life of any coin) instead of getting on my knees and begging BITTREX not to delist a coin. No, really, not one coin needs BITTREX especially not Zimstake... Let me ask you something... Do YOU NEED anonymous transactions and how does it affect your life? Answer me that and you might just realise how all of this is just crazy... Why don't we instead of just having another anon (not important) coin (which is already more than enough anon) offer people something new and cool (that actually has some purpose other than speculation points)? I dont give a rats ass about anon and will never use it. Unfortunately there is a big demand in the market for coins that offer anon. Hence the recommendation to implement it so that the higher demand can help the price of ZS to trade higher at a floor to build other services on. . I'll contact Kawasaki. |

Why is the volume so low ? There are only 2 transactions at mintpal for today. If we continue this way, I'm affraid Zimstake will get delisted from mintpal and other exchangers. We need more buy support !!
There is currently 0 incentive to buy ZS. The only thing on the horizon that will remotely cause any demand is the addition of anon features. CG said that he will release an anon wallet by 9 Aug or so. ZS holders just have to hope and pray that it does not get delisted before then. It is ridiculous that a coin with 3.8M money supply trades <1000 sats. It would be a good thing if ZS is delisted from MP. It shouldn't have been there to start with, then it would have still traded around 8-10k. Community should fight to remain on Bittrex and if that goes at least be on C-CEX. If Bittrex listing can remain until anon wallet is released there is light at the end of the tunnel. I know there is a large amount of intrinsic value not reflected in the price with Zimstake in that A) It's not in the scam or P&D coin category where 70% - 80% of alts fall. B) It has a stable, well-designed wallet that has been staking successful without issue for months. Absolutely the volume has to pick up and all of us are scratching our heads and brainstorming the best ways to achieve that but through multiple fronts eventually I believe this can be accomplished as long as key members stay engaged and continue to throw out ideas and initiatives until things start to stick. As Promised, new wallet version v1.0.1.5. Downloads below and on OP. Thanks CryptoGir for the wallet update - all downloaded, updated, up and running! However one thing that still remains unresolved is the following coin control issue in ZS wallet: Namely, when trying to select inputs from the list, a grey background appears on all entries I put the mouse on, turning gradually into white the more I move the mouse on top of it and finally making it almost invisible. Also changing the selection of coins to be sorted according to number of confirmations makes it hard to read, as things appear to be written on top of the old order. Anybody else having similar issues? On the other hand, I realised that sending coins to yourself is not really necessary for staking as ZS has a fantastic feature of automatic regrouping the stakes for you (out of the coins I am familiar with, only SHOP has it as well. Btw., if not done so far, I believe this great feature should be advertised more, as it really saves time and coins you would have to spend on tx to yourself for staking). So all and all, the above described problem would be only an issue when using coin control to chose which coins should be sent in a transaction. I have witnessed similar behavior when scrolling down through my wallet address book that has 50+ entries. It started with the first wallet released with the new graphic overlay. |

Volume on ZS is so anemic ATM I think any multi-pool involvement from the ZS community would directly translate into a positive improvement in the price.
My biggest problem with Chunkypools right now is from the start the only x11 coin they show as mining is Logicoin (in fact all three algos show the same coin being mined as 2 weeks ago), a coin with even lower trade volume than ZS, so how exactly do you sell Logicoin in the open market to buy ZS when .3 BTC sell volume on LGC would crash the price to nothing. Along with all the other issues with CP that have noted in the thread since the Chunkypools MP went live how can anyone feel comfortable pointing any amount of hashing power their direction.

Update regarding Texas Hold'em Pink Poker:
Hello everyone, sorry for not being active but have had a lot of work to do.
I have also been working with the animation for the Pink Poker game.. it has been very hard and confusing for me to implement it, but to the end I managed to make it work.. Now I need to do some animation for the chips as well.. but this time it will be easier ( I hope :} ).
So we are not far away from a beta version..
I am still seeking volunteers who would like to test the Pink Poker game before it gets released.
