81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polymath Airdrop on: January 05, 2018, 08:16:27 PM
Thanks for the info! I joined their telegram group and it looks like it will be at the end of this month hopefully. They're keeping quiet, but you can tell they're working on it.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: January 05, 2018, 08:15:13 PM
1) Protocol/dapp (especialy those that is solving some problems for NEO/Ethereum network)
2) Hard-cap less then 10-20 millions $.
3) Presale white-list, especially without public sales (whitelist only).
4) Good hype around (many viral in socials, blogs, here in topics like "most promicing ico of december")

I would add:

5) team/advisors
6) partnerships
7) timeline

My recent favorite has been the bee token. Presale sold out in 3 minutes and their overall cap is $15m. Really crazy team from Google, Uber, and Facebook too. https://www.thebeetoken.com/
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 picks for January? on: January 05, 2018, 07:54:26 PM
Hands down IoT Chain (ITC). Got in under $1 and now it's at $5+. https://medium.com/@IoT_Chain/itc-progress-in-technology-and-marketing-c7cd7ee5726
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: January 05, 2018, 07:52:20 PM
I would say invest into ICO's. There's a really good one coming up called the bee token. Decentralized Airbnb and zero commissions. Their presale sold out in 3 minutes  Shocked

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bee Token AMA Live on: November 21, 2017, 12:00:57 AM
Just wanted to throw this out there for those that were interested in the bee token. Their live stream is going on very soon: https://twitter.com/DiaryofaMadeMan/status/932671328062144512

Imo this is a good opportunity to interact directly to the CEO of an ico.

Side note: we should all post AMA's when they happen so we can learn in a different way about ico's.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs CMT on: November 08, 2017, 10:43:01 PM
the hard part is actually the adoption, not building something that ticks a lot of boxes.

bitcoin is the best example for that.

I agree with this one. I read somewhere that once they implement it onto the app, the userbase will be larger than ethereum.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A better, blockchain-powered Airbnb?!! on: November 08, 2017, 10:38:05 PM
Has anyone heard of the company Beenest launching their ICO bee token? They are "decentralizing short-term housing rentals" with a blockchain-powered platform with 0% commissions. Basically doing what airbnb does, but better lol

Thoughts??

Anyone see this article about a recent conference they were at? https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/blockchain-is-coming-to-businesses-near-you-insider_us_5a020e4be4b02f3ab3377db0?from=groupmessage&isappinstalled=0

what will happen if soft cap is not reached?

I think they keep it as a reserve. Found this on their website: https://cm.5miles.com/file/contribution/Token%20Contribution%20Event%20Key%20Information_en-US.pdf
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why Paypal is not a digital currency... on: November 08, 2017, 09:47:12 PM
Paypal is definitely not a digital currency. They're like an online bank with stupid transaction fees lol.

The whole point of digital currency is the decentralized aspect of it. Centralized systems like banks and paypal are all delayed, tagged with fees, and subject to regulation/reviews, and have limits.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is that "ICO coin/token" has really can be used on daily life? on: November 08, 2017, 09:45:26 PM
IMO it would be cybermiles. They are planning on decentralizing marketplaces and ecommerce. They partnered with 5miles (marketplace app with 12 million users) to integrate the blockchain there and then they will commercialize. People can even host their own ico's on CMT. Lots of plans for them. I jumped in for the idea and strong team.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X Cancelled on: November 08, 2017, 09:43:39 PM
Does anyone have an idea of what's going to happen next?? This will be very interesting for the value of bitcoin and the miners.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successor to Ethereum? on: November 08, 2017, 09:42:22 PM
cybermiles and cardano is new project that have not proofen yet,
so everything is blind for now,, except they have something special, something new in crypto industry
I am not impress at Cybermiles as well.
Ecommerce websites and projects don't do well because Bitcoin can already do that.

'

I disagree. Other ecommerce tokens don't work out because they are introducing a new tech with no proof/existing platform. it's hard to be the innovator in a big market where there's a lot of learning curves.

Just based on their partnership with 5miles, the credibility of the team, and ecosystem/services, this one will be big. They fill a huge demand and pretty much swallow up other ico's with their lending feature, supply chain management, and verification features.
94  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 08, 2017, 09:36:43 PM
The only thing about a gamble is that you're risking your money for a reward. Stocks are the same. There are too many misconceptions surrounding bitcoin and it's pretty annoying.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty campaigns for Newbies? on: November 08, 2017, 09:35:17 PM
Cybermiles has a very cool bounty going on right now. Very generous. Here's the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2346767.new
96  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do bitcoin gambling sites need gambling licenses? on: October 19, 2017, 02:37:52 AM
If you're into esports, Unikrn is doing big things. Their ICO unikoingold has already raised well over $35million and recently got their malta license meaning there's fiat wagering in 80% of europe. Definitely something to get into.

97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming ICOs on: October 19, 2017, 02:33:06 AM
I don't see many gaming project have reallity blockchain tech with their.
Everything they need almost only payment gateway. Many of them has been fail at ICO.
But for recommend I would like to invite you take a look about: UniKoinGold a betting token for esport.
Mark Cuban aslo support this project. Only 4 days left

+1 for unikoingold. They're set to become the universal esports token

solid team, anthony di lorio as an advisor (co-founder of ethereum and jaxx wallet) and already working model with millions of users
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 07, 2017, 02:10:24 AM
I think the government will put up the biggest fight against it. Plus, what is the country going to do with the federal reserve? lol.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Gimli - eSports Betting Platform for Streamers - ICO LIVE on: October 07, 2017, 01:52:35 AM
Huh, what's the difference between Gimli and UnikoinGold? the only differences I found were that Gimli is NOT open to US residents and UnikoinGold is. Team-wise, UnikoinGold wins with their reputation.

Other than that, what else? They've only raised 5200ETH and it's ending this month. If it was such a great idea, then shouldn't they have sold more?
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UnikoinGold ICO on: October 07, 2017, 01:44:38 AM
I read about them and have been doing more research about them lately.

Solid team, VC credibility, legal, and they already have a running platform.

I would go in just because they are the best esports ICO IMO
