The new DEV should check the code of the Windows wallet because the staking process is driving the cpu to throttle at almost 100% continuously.
I had to restart my BeeCoin2 node with an empty wallet not to stress the cpu.
With an empty wallet there are no coins to stake for and the cpu is then running low.

Ok that's great so we are potentially looking at 0.3 BTC now.
All from long time members of beecoin so I think we can rely on them.

2. do we need a server for seed nodes? or not? perhaps a block explorer?
anything we buy will be transparent with full ledger.
I know all beecoin holders are way down on their investment of time and money. I was mining this for weeks and weeks when I could have been mining coins that are now top 10 coins. It's been pretty bad with the first dev, soopy (he helped some but just so up and down) allcoin vanishing.
Let's hope for better things from the fairest POW launch coin I ever participated - and I was on the launch of many.
Hear, Hear, I too stopped mining Darkcoin (now Dash) and Diamond coins to mine Bee2. Also, I think we will, initially, need to have some seed nodes to stabilize the new Bee2 network. As for allcoin, we have to destroy or invalidate the stolen coins. Perhaps, we can help those victims of allcoin recover some of their lost Beecoin by offering them a little discount on Beecoin - say 110,000,000 Bees for 0.05 BTC? Hopefully, someone will come forward with the allcoin wallet address. Yes we need to null them they took my LTC and my bees. The scoundrels. I don't know how we can prove we were victims so I don't think we can award any bonus for those that lost. Is the final total then that we can raise around 0.35 BTC? I would have hoped for a little bit more interest from the community. Remember that this is trying to get us back on an exchange and to pay for a developer to code us out a new stable coin. Of course I don't encourage anyone to purchase bees even at this very low rate if they can not afford to risk the BTC. It it worth reviving this coin ? I have looked at it before and saw you guys advertising it. I don't like the pos rate lol. Maybe have a high POS for a few blocks to encourage new investors ? Or a high mine block reward in the early stages.

I didn't know about the two forks in 1.0.2 and 1.0.3.
I have the 1.0.3 wallet. How can I know if I forgot some coins in the 1.0.2 if I have just one wallet.dat.
And again if the statement "in fact wallet.dat of 1.02 owners still should get balance if is used in the 1.03" is true it means the problem about the 2 chains does not exist at all.
I mean it should be enough to update the wallet to 1.0.3 keeping the same wallet.dat to have on 1.0.3 the same coin had on 1.0.2, isn't it?.. or did I miss something?

If community is interested i can setup a full node plus a block explorer for 50 usd yearly, with search funcion (by hash or by address) rich list, node list and API
This could be of interest however we will need to get the coin fixed first and operational. Exactly which are the technical problems which BEECOIN have actually? Beecoin has a broken block-chain. BEECOINV2 HAS FORKED into 2 different chains, which are on Bee2 v1.0.2 and Bee2 v1.0.3 respectively. We want to get both chains to sync together. It is not possible, in the 1.02 some coins are in one addy but in the 1.0.3 the same coins are in other address this means the total coin supply is double actually, we can not merge the chains, i think the best way would be: option 1: -config temporal explorer for 1.02 other for 1.03 and other for the new blockchain to be created -create a new blockchain with a premine of. (1.02v total coins+ 1.03v total coins) / 2 -do a swap 2 old blockchain coins 1 new blockchain coin -burn unclaimed new coins after some months and declare death 1.02 and 1.03 option 2: the easy one 1.02 is forgotten and the only valid one is 1.03, optionally 1.03 owners could create a help fund address to compensate the losses of 1.02 owners (in fact wallet.dat of 1.02 owners still should get balance if is used in the 1.03) PD: can someone please provide me some 1.03 and 1.02 nodes? I set up a node some days ago but it's still not fully synced. Actually 188.165.42.51 is the only one online with the major part of the blocks (I think not all the blocks since the moment the chain is broken) My node beecoin.dnsalias.com is also online and I think will be synced with the main node above in 24/48 hours. |

NEW DEV should prove himself, by fixing the coin for free, so that funds can be released to him when the chain is active.
I TOTALLY AGREE with you. At least the chain should be fixed and the coin should be put back operational for FREE. |

I counted 125 users were active here with BeeCoin in the past.
If even just 1/3 would reply and would be ready to take part in the revival project it would be approx 0.05 btc each one.

Yes, go here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bee2/#!network click on node list, copy and past the nodes in the beecoinv2.conf file you have in the %appdata%\BeeCoinV2 folder and restart the wallet. The net is alive but unfortunately no activity and no exchanges around this coin... |

Also, the new wallet gets unresponsive for excessive amounts of time, even longer than the old wallet which was terribly slow.
Also my one gets unresponsive for some seconds very often...  edit: sometime unresponsive for more than one minute... |

Hey guys, it seems the new wallet has some problems... I downloaded and started from scratch right now... It started to sync with the network but the strange thing it has already read almost 100GB  from my disk in about 15 minutes...  What is it doing??? Already tried to close and start it again but same behaviour...  |

I'm just worried abt what it will be for all the coins owned by people who don't know abt the swap.
I know the dev will give them a second chance but if they don't come here so often they can also miss that.
Maybe it's better to keep alive the old chain for some months and to activate a special address to send the old coins that will be autoswapped in the new one... something like it was when we swapped from summercoin to summercoinV2 if I'm not wrong... (or maybe it was from BeeCoin to BeeCoinV2 I don't remember exactly)

I was trying to transfer ALL my coins on Bittrex for the coin swap.
I made my total coins - 0.0036NAV for fees and I sent.
The walled said me transaction rejected.
The money now are not on bittrex and not in my wallet anymore...
Where did they end?
The transaction description says "in conflict"
Why if the transaction was rejected the coins are not in my wallet anymore?

What wallet do u have? Have you run a ''repairwallet'' command in the debug window? Have u check your wallet in the blockchain? Is your wallet fully synced? The wallet is the latest version (of the old coin not the new one of course) and fully synced. I checked with the block exlorer and the transaction ID is not present in the blockchain. Should I try to repair the wallet? The repair wallet worked! It seems the wallet thought to have sent the money successfully but due to the node rejection the money where not in the wallet and not in the destination address. Repairwallet could find the mismatch and fix it! Thank you very much for the quick and useful help  |

What is your blockcount actually? I am just retrying the installer abd download the blockchain.
EDIT:
Ok I have updated the blockchain data on the website. After manually downloading and unzipping into the Appdata NavCoin folder (after I deleted all files) . The Wallet starts like expected.
Thank you very much, it worked! I deleted all the files in Appdata\NavCoin except wallet.dat and the config file. Then I downloaded the updated blockchain from the web and I unzipped there. Restarting the wallet there were just few hundreds of blocks to sync this time. Now I'm updated and totally synced with more than 10 active connections. Thank you very much once again. |
