81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: December 01, 2020, 05:54:34 PM
I've never heard about any crypto project that was killed due to its high gas fee  Sad , Ethereum is the second best digital coin for some reasons, people won't stop using this altcoin because of new smart contract projects like Ethereum, developers will still prefers ERC20 smart contract for new projects probably because it's more easier and more popular? Today Ethereum 2.0 goes live and staking is active so no more worries about high fee
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice And Analysis : Bitcoin or Ethereum or Other on: November 30, 2020, 03:36:11 PM
I'm a crypto investor. I like investing and trading. But now-a-days crypto craze is everywhere. Bitcoin & Ethereum both are working good.
Some of people are saying that Bitcoin bullrun has started and so guys are saying it will make a correction and will come back to down..
In other side Ethereum is also performing good. Ethereum 2.0 coming news just created a fomo or you can say interest in Ethereum that's why I can see a good movement.

But if anyone want to invest then which is good? Because BTC and ETH both are performing good and other ALTs are also performing a little good.

Kindly give suggestions with analysis regarding investment guide in crypto  Smiley Smiley Smiley
Well I believe that Bitcoin correction is finally over, now it's back to 19,000$ and all altcoins are revaluating too so if I have to invest right now it will be on altcoins because they are just starting to moon, buying bitcoin now Is too risky, go for Ethereum or other top altcoins like NEO and BNB, this is just what I'd do if I'm in your position right now, also ETH2. 0 is coming like you said, you can probably go with diversity
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap has made it easier for scammers? on: November 30, 2020, 03:30:20 PM
We all have heard some of the Uniswap pull-rugs recently, there are some thread on here you can see, I made on of them as https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5281309.0 , but the list is going to be infinite if I want to add some of them daily, Usually, we hear big scams but a lot of them never mention as they are so small in comparison with those big ones, DEX was a good idea and neat but UNISWAP and Bounce.finance these days have been a reason of so many pull rugs, I don't remember I hear so many scams like now before, do you agree with me?

I think these scams could affect on crypto reputation, as many newbies, especially reach ones would like to make a house on firm and safe ground, I wonder how we can help to reduce scams on DEXes?I know with code analysis we can guess that more likely but what about those ones who don't know the coding that much? how we can find out potential scams before they pull the rug?
No matter how good the use case of a project is, scammers will always use it to their own advantages, the main purpose of DeFi platforms and exchanges is to give every crypto users the freedom to trade and add liquidity for their tokens with zero spendings, scammers are to be blame here not Uniswap and other DEX like it, all we can do is learn how to secure our assets when using the Platforms
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is POW algo abandoned? on: November 30, 2020, 03:27:09 PM
Have new projects abandoned proof of work algorithm or what? I can't find a single new project that is minable today, I'm only seeing junks, things are way different now compared to few years back, I was able to make profits out of mining few new coins, although some were dead, the reason why I'm looking for new coins to mine is difficulty rate, they will be lower comparing to mining ETH, kindly give advice
I'm wondering why you are planning on mining new coins when we have Monero, ETH, ETC that are quite profitable right now, I have a bad experience mining new coins in 2018, they died before I was able to sell them off, my advice is if you really want to go down on this path it will be better to mine new coins that are trading on exchanges already, don't mine new coins and hold it's risky
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need more decentralized stablecoins on: November 29, 2020, 11:11:06 AM
I guess we need more than just decentralized stablecoins in crypto world today, the governments are making move to acquire users data from centralized exchanges, developers need to start coming up with safer platforms for crypto users not some useless DeFi junks that can't withstand hacks and thefts, the most failed projects of 2020 are decentralized projects
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Been cheated again on: November 29, 2020, 11:05:54 AM

SCAM

Bounty hunters got cheated again, actually is this ever going to stop? Do you guys remember OLPORTAL? Bounty hunters are asked to drop ETH address to get tokens and they end up forcing bounty hunters to go and download OLCF wallet and import recovery seed to receive tokens, how did they cheat? Their shit OLCF wallet only accepts Recovery seed only, leaving out those with private keys, you can only import if you are using mycelium or others like it but for those using multi wallet like Coinomi we are out of luck, the team just ignore others like that.
Wrong accusation mate, Olportal have distribute 10,000 OLCF to all those who opened new wallet address and also all bounty hunters are qualified for the extra tokens, the distribution of the tokens on spreadsheet is still commencing I guess, some are saying they failed to change old address to new one, if you are one of them then it's your fault, it means you aren't following the project telegram group
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for knowledge on: November 28, 2020, 04:21:09 PM
Hi guys, I have a question for you all about crypto wallet, must a crypto wallet be fully open source to have peace while using them to store large amount of money? And is trust wallet a half baked open source wallet or full open source? Thank you
Don't store large amount of coins on a hot wallet it's not safe, it's better to buy a hardware wallet for coins that worth huge amount of money, also trust wallet is open source as we are told but I'm not an expert in this field so I can't even tell the side between an open source wallet and a closed source wallet.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As for all available crypto wallets it's always about it's private key on: November 28, 2020, 04:16:53 PM
When people talk about hardware wallets they always don't talk about how it's important to still keep it's private key somewhere safe, they talked as if hardware wallets are impenetrable or their private keys can't get stolen, I'm tired of responding to such comments on here so instead I decide to create a topic out of it, whatsoever crypto wallet you are using you will still need to keep it's private key safe

You decided to create another time wasting pointless discussion thread to fill up you allotted number of posts for you bounty campaign and for your mission to achieve hero member in the shortest possible time and ruin a once great discussion forum.  well done I hope your family are proud of you
How is this a time wasting pointless discussion? Not everyone know that hardware wallet have private key to be safeguard just like every other wallet, I though this forum is a space for sharing ideas? Now that crypto market is getting popular and we keep having newbies among us everyday it's a good thing to see members of this forum sending warning messages, if you can't do that atleast have some respect for those who are doing something.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: November 27, 2020, 05:21:04 PM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

Is the world out of ideas or solutions?
Bittorrent is disappointing as I expected, when the new came out I wasn't interested because the use case isn't that great to me, I knew it will drag alot to survive and about STO 99% of them are dead right now, STO just can't have a peaceful room in crypto space for security reasons like SEC, Regulations and others
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal blocked a member's account due to cryptocurrency trading on: November 27, 2020, 05:18:11 PM
Unfortunately this will give bad reputations to PayPal and they will end up losing good customers who plan to use PayPal for it's crypto currency part, the only way this guy can get help is if many decide to raise voice for him, through social media channels where it can easily reach PayPal team.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 26, 2020, 04:47:45 PM
To get rid of poverty and I'm sure that crypto is the right place to be for that, crypto has high volatility and that's what makes everything senseful, all one have to learn is the perfect timing to enter and buy, many countries with economy issues are adopting crypto today because they have same believe, crypto can change people's lives
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe I made the right choice on: November 26, 2020, 04:43:52 PM
With or without altcoin season mining isn't a profitable investment right now unless you have free electricity and your electricity is stable 24hrs everyday, some countries have epileptic electricity most especially african countries, it's way better to make money buying to altcoins and staking them or hold for good market time
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is fine to support Bitcoin Cash. on: November 25, 2020, 04:48:54 PM
Yes I'd definitely support BCH instead of many new projects today, here are few reasons why I will support BCH

1. BCH is a top altcoin, no new coins made it this far yet
2. BCH has real world use case, it was built from scratch as a payment gateway and it's been put to real use in asian world
3. Team are satisfying enough, pro and we'll experienced
4. Low max supply
5. Fast and cheap transactions

Many new projects today can't offer what BCH is capable of, that's the fact.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: November 25, 2020, 04:44:31 PM
Bounty hunting is all about efforts and luck, to maximize your luck you need to work harder, that is promoting more than two projects and also make sure that the projects are good enough, remember you are using your time and energy here, you don't want to promote projects without actually understanding what the projects are all about
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DEX must take over on: November 24, 2020, 03:53:13 PM
Decentralized exchanges need to take over centralized exchanges in the future, going fully decentralized is what makes more sense around crypto, centralized exchanges can be controlled by the law and government, I heard court is asking users data from centralized exchanges too, just imagine if all exchanges in crypto space are all DEXs, I know that DEX has its flaws too but it's safer than centralized exchanges
Yes, now the DEX has grown and improved a lot over itself 3 years ago. However, it can only pass CEX if the problem of fees and transaction speed improves, and it is possible that the coming ETH 2.0 will solve this problem.
High transaction fees and speed isn't the only problem that DEX have, the major problem are lack of Liquidity, Volumes and bad interface, very confusing for newbies to use, interface and dashboard must be users friendly just like most centralized exchanges, I doubt that DEX will take over centralized exchanges for few years more but nothing is impossible
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How true is this? on: November 24, 2020, 03:39:41 PM
It's possible, I've promoted projects like Dain.ai and ez365, till date they keep postponing their launch dates and there are few others that refused to launch like Bitwings, maybe if altcoin season starts showing big signs the projects will launched but such projects can't be relied on, this means they can't keep the project alive if bears take over the market
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about IEO in altcoin season? on: November 23, 2020, 02:52:57 PM
It's never going to be the same result like 2017 altcoin season, ICO success and big ROI happened because of the Hype surrounding ICO during that time, unfortunately IEO has no such Hype so even if altcoin season do come IEO results won't be as big as ICO success of 2017, id rather focus on any upcoming IEO launchpads on binance that's extremely promising, instead of gaining 3x it can be 6x because of altcoin season
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a wish for small projects on: November 23, 2020, 02:46:38 PM
Small projects don't need to pay large sum of money to list for IEO on top exchanges, the team can use Uniswap, this DEX is the best right now and it has good reviews so far, it costs nothing to list a token on Uniswap, if the so called small project ( which I don't believe in ) have a very good utility investors will have interest, slowly but surely the project will have better volumes and eventually get listed on other exchanges
Only two out of ten new projects that end up on uniswap have good volume, uniswap is not a place for new projects to start trading unless the project already have better private investors and huge hype, many projects that can't afford centralized exchanges and have no choice but to go Uniswap have very low to none volume available, it's not a good idea
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 23, 2020, 02:43:16 PM
Till today I can still invest in any binance IEO launchpads because they never disappoint me, I can easily double my invested money without any worries of getting scammed, binance and other top exchanges always works wonder, you can never be that confident around ICO projects and there is no one to blame, top exchanges are very careful with new projects as they do their own research too before introducing the project to their platform users, IEO gives me peace of mind over ICO
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value VS gold value on: November 22, 2020, 01:09:32 PM
Bitcoin has the potential of replacing or atleast act like a digital gold in future, it's max supply is limited and one day it will surely run out of its supply and it will become even more scarce than today, both bitcoin and gold are perfect store of value assets so the difference isn't that much
