81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the Polygon Crypto Price Prediction in 2022?? on: August 09, 2021, 06:14:27 AM
If DOGE alone can reach a market cap of $50 million, I'm sure polygon can also reach a marketcap of $50 million dollars, the polygon network has been widely used by various large projects and is a promising investment in the long term.
POLYGON has more use case than DOGE then pretty sure it will be more than what DOGE can achieve if they keep on developing the product and venture more onto the crypto space e.g. DeFi, NFT, Gaming, etc.

It's just a matter of time but I guess once the altcoin season lift off once again POLYGON will surely be a gainer once again. $10, $15? I think that will be broken.

Of course, Dogecoin is nowhere near as useful as Matic. Because Dogecoin and other similar meme coins don’t have a real utility for the market, they just caught the wave of hype and pumped because of this. As opposed to them, Matic is used in sidechain Polygon that is developing quite rapidly today. There are new defi-projects on Polygon every day and more and more people start using it because of its scalability.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Head and Shoulder on: August 09, 2021, 06:07:02 AM
Well, from my observation, the H&S chart pattern haven't played out yet and it's not certain that it will do just as you predicted simply because it's the market and the market does what it once. One other thing to note is that the overall market trend right now is bullish so if you're predicting this chart pattern (which is a bearish one), it means you're going against the trend. Anyway, since anyone is free to come up with their own TA and prediction, there's only so much I can say. Goid luck on your decision/predictions.

I share your point of view that it is likely to be growth in price rather than bear movements. According to charts, Ethereum’s price has broken through a powerful resistance level which can indicate the recovery of the price even in the long term, and not just short-term fluctuations. So personally I hope for an increase, especially judging from the positive mood of the market in general.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: August 09, 2021, 06:00:13 AM
for long term maybe we could involved in NFT gaming revolution , i see huge opportunity from this project developtment. MMORPG will be next trend in crypto market , it could attract gamers outside crypto market and ask them to buy native token from project to build their game. Demand will create when there are alot feature release just like minecraft . we play , we earn could be the tagline for NFT gaming project.

I don’t consider NFT-games to be good long-term investments. I think that it is just a hype around them now, that is why people bring so much money there and as a result we see such a significant growth. To my mind, this hype will be over soon as it doesn’t make real utility for the market. Nevertheless, the NFT-sphere will definitely develop as there are a lot of functions that Non-fungible tokens can perform apart from digital art and gaming.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Investment Suggestion on: August 09, 2021, 05:54:30 AM
As per the current market situation, many good coins are falling due to dot, cake and many other reasons. I would suggest buy cake, sol, and such coins for at least 5k amount, and soon those coins will return high profit margin

I agree with you, especially about cakes. I have been familiar with Pancake swap for a long period of time. I invested in a pool USDC-Cake when cake was 13$ and then the price dropped to 10$ in July. Nevertheless, I still continued to keep my money there as I believe that this project is reliable and many people trust it. Today cakes cost 17$ and I have already earned 16% in one month in this pool, although APR is only 50%.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: August 05, 2021, 05:40:36 AM
NFT gaming is still popular now, but nobody can predict how long this hype around it will continue. To my mind, NFTs will be really popular when some problems with them like legality, privacy and storage are solved. And they will find new spheres to be used in. Moreover, there are a lot of variants. Non-fungible tokens can be used as collectible tokens, impact tokens (give you different rights), access (capability) tokens, data tokens, identity tokens etc.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more green? on: August 04, 2021, 02:52:48 PM
Hello,
According to Elon Musk concern about the Bitcon energy consumption, which of TRON, EOS, Stellar Lumens, Nano, Chia, BitGreen and Cardano coins are good?

Thank you.

Comparing different kinds of tokens, I can say that tokens that use Proof-Of-Stake are definitely greener than those that use Proof-Of-Work, as they require less energy for that. So currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are not green, as opposed to Ripple, Stellar, Waves.
Nevertheless, when Elon Musk says that he wants Bitcoin to be greener he means that Bitcoin should use renewable energy for mining, but not to switch to PoS.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT on: August 04, 2021, 02:44:09 PM
Hi all,

Let's do a honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT.

Question - what the future holds for NFT?

In my personal experience, I have received mixed reactions from different type of people on this same question. So I want to know the view of this community.

Vote on!

Nowadays NFTs are associated with entertainment and digital art, but it is not its limit. Non-Fungible Tokens can be used for transmission and storage of information and different documents. It is said that NFT tokens can be used wherever there are different registers. Everything from the real world can be tokenized and sold through blockchains. So NFTs definitely have a future.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV undergoing 51% attack right now!!! on: August 04, 2021, 02:36:41 PM
On today's list of crypto breaking news is that Bitcoin SV (BSV) reportedly suffers & is going through a massive 51% attack.
https://twitter.com/Altcoin_Alerts/status/1422671127084605441

For those new on here, a 51% attack is when a miner or group of miners manage to gain control over 50% of that network, compromising consensus, and thus leaving plenty of room for vulnerability.

Perhaps a good time to short BSV? Or even better, wonder what could have caused this... Either way, it's something to be aware of for the future of BSV and other alts.
Do you think that any platform offers a short for such kinds of coins? Especially when they collapse. Exchanges are not interested in your profit, so when something is wrong, they shut all opportunities to earn on it.
In terms of hacking, it is not easy to take control under 51% of the system, so it must be a serious hacker who managed to do that. We had better stay away from this project
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: research for new altcoin on: August 03, 2021, 06:34:30 AM
I like your ideas and it will be a big pleasure for me if thanks to my comment, one more good token will become better. Concerning your question about the whales. Nowadays projects support a function of protection against big investors. It means that the system bans transactions that are bigger than 2%, for example. But actually what can deter them from buying it in different transactions or from different wallets? I don’t know.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: August 03, 2021, 06:23:06 AM
Currently, if you want to buy any altcoin, it is very difficult. You can't choose an option quite easily. Also, the crypto market is currently volatile. In such circumstances if one wants to buy altcoin. So what should be the main focus?

Apart from banal investigation of social media, development team and tokenomics, it will be great if you look through the smart-contract. Of course, it is quite difficult if you are not a programmer. Nevertheless, there are some points that you can check as well and make some conclusions. For example you can switch to page “Write contract” and check if there is a function “mint”. If there is such a function, it means that an owner can call it and mint as many tokens as he wants.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many scammers have you funded by putting your money in? on: August 03, 2021, 06:17:06 AM

One scam that I had was called WhiteTeethSwap. I saw that it would launch soon and I decided to buy their token as soon as possible. But I had to leave at the time when it happened, so I asked my younger brother to buy it in my wallet. But he is not into crypto, he didn’t know about slepage (and it was huge I guess), so I received very few of their token and then they also decreased by 1000000 times, so it is more my bad of course.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: August 02, 2021, 06:48:24 AM
It happened two days ago that the project I staked my assets in was hacked. Someone created millions of this project’s tokens and this way it was devalued. I lost more than 100$, but I was ready for it, so I am not very upset about this. Nevertheless devs promise compensation, I don’t really believe that we will get something. So now I think that it is too dangerous to invest in new defi-projects. Now I stake only in pancakeswap.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH adoption lately is high on: August 02, 2021, 06:40:25 AM
It seems like Ethereum will reach a new ATH the second time again, hours back I read news that whales are investing 500million dollars on ETH which is a good plan that they are preparing for PoS algorithm rewards, the adoption rate looks way higher than BTc or am I wrong?

Is there any news about the launch of Ethereum 2.0.? If it is so, it must be a real trigger for Ethereum to increase significantly, as it is a very desired event. Because it promises to make Ethereum more scalable, cheaper and more eco-friendly due to switching to Proof-Of-Stake. So if there is such news and whales start to invest, we had better think of investing too.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: August 02, 2021, 06:34:20 AM
I am well aware of coins with controlled inflation like BTC, where a finite number of coins will be generated at a controlled rate. Very recently I came across deflationary tokens where coins are destroyed whenever a transaction is made and they will end at some time.
My question is what is the purpose of creating such coins? Are they worthy enough to be invested ?

As I know,  it is said that burning of tokens can support the price as the amount of them decreases, but demand only increases or at least remains sustainable. On the other hand, I don’t know what will happen if all tokens are burned. I think that as soon as the number of them reach a target level, burnings will be finished and people will use tokens that will be already in circulation.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: August 02, 2021, 06:27:13 AM
While BNB appeals to the wider crypto users because the binance smartchain currently seem to have overcome the biggest issue that most cryptocurrency users have with bitcoin ethereum and the ERC 20 blockchain tokens. This problem is the speed of transaction and and the cost of transactions.
This is a problem  that BSC currently solves, and while a lot of people might argue that BNB is not a fully decentralized coin, i think it is worth noting that a lot of users dont care much for how decentralized  a coin or token is, they just want the solutions they it offers.
This is why i think BNB an the BSC will remain very valuable in years to come

I absolutely agree with you that the majority of people don’t care about decentralisation. They just want fast cheap transactions that can be provided by Binance Smart Chain. As BNB is essential to run transactions here and there are a lot of people who want to invest in different defi-projects on BSC. BNB is very popular now and must remain valuable in the future as well.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why shiba inu not come 1$ on: July 30, 2021, 01:42:06 PM
Please explain, why shiba inu not come 1$ ? Total supply?
To my mind it is impossible for shiba inu to reach 1$. I think that the hype of meme coins is already over, so now capitals are flowing from them to NFT-gaming. The thing is that meme coins don’t have any utility for the market, so the only reason why they grew in spring was advertisement from authoritative people. But now we are not to expect  a new pump from them.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: July 30, 2021, 01:33:57 PM
how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of.your token.is hitting down ..? in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?
thanks in.advance..

Personally I am a long-term investor, so I don’t care about temporary fluctuation if I believe that this coin will be successful within time. And my diversification is between some fundamental currencies and in addition to them I have a part of my capital in altcoins that I choose on coinmatketcap. I investigate documents, deav team and tokenomics before investing.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: July 29, 2021, 06:31:25 AM
First of all forget the whole professor coins they don't normally make any sense at all The most important things is the fundamentals and then trading volume If it has some good fundamentals and is working on it then basically it is likely going to make name but seriously if they are not working on any it my advice is dump it and buy some better dios and HODL thru

You are definitely right that the most important thing is fundamentals. But on the other hand, there are cases when a project offers something really innovative and promising, but they don’t have a good marketing campaign, that is why people are not aware of this project and that is why they don’t invest. So advertisement is also very important if you want to get profit from price rise.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are risks in adding liquidity on a defi platform? on: July 29, 2021, 06:21:32 AM

I'm about to try Defi platform now but i have no idea about it. All I really just see is that its going to give me more than 10% of APY. This is good enough for me but I just want to be aware of the risk if anything could happen. Any given situation, is this not going to be good?

The main risks are different hacks, panic and dishonesty of devs (scam). In the first case you can lose everything, but the development team might offer compensation. In the second case, the token of this project is likely to be devalued. But if you stake another coin it doesn’t not matter for you. And in the third case, you can lose everything. To protect yourself from such unpleasant things you should do your own research before investing and be ready for the worst.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in between the decision to hold or sell on: July 29, 2021, 06:09:29 AM
having a conversation with a friend today , he was asking me if he should sell or hold a coin. i didnt give a straight answer, i just told him the project is a good one that can do well but if you are willing to wait then you can hold but if you need some money then you can sell off. he then replied that he will wait for an additional 25% increase before he would sell off. i think i tried my best to let him make his final decision himself. is there any better way to do this? if it were you, how would you respond to this. ??

You can say that it depends on coins. If it is fundamental currency, he shouldn’t hesitate to hold them, as it is the only right strategy when you work with them. As they will give a good profit to us only within time. But if it is an altcoin that has already increased by 10- 100 times, he definitely should sell. Maybe not everything straight away if a growth might continue, but in parts.
But in any case, explain to him that the conclusive decision is his.
