Hardfork tomorrow. Only a day more of fun mining  I got my new i7-5930K and clocked it to 4.7Ghz - it's doing 7.3H/s to 7.4H/s on Pebble. Hard fork ETA 1.5 hours, get them while you can! I'm mining hard - got over 10H/s on it. push push push... Heheh,,, |

Seems like Ultracoin became Scrypt-Jane Nf(14). Anyone knows the optimal settings for N14 & 750ti? Autotune gives me t64x1 @ 1kh, but I seriously think it can do more  I get 2.2kh/s for every each 750ti What's your launch config? cudaminer.exe -s 10 --algo=scrypt-jane:UTC -H 2 -i 0 -m 1 -l t64x1 -L 4 -b 16384 I don't think it profitable now. Only 0.6 USD estimate/24h |

it might take a long long time before I might be able to optimised Christian code... don't hold your breath  Cuda 6.5RC has been released to the Devs, and I am telling you that if we can crack cuFFT..as Nvidia Cudaminer would be king..

(actually "Qt-creator for dummies" might speed up a lot more the process... progress are being made though , I don't want to worry TalkTeam ) Oh GOD, How could i learn cuda programming? I love it so much if i could start from a very simple cuFFT implementation. I want to prepare a proper ccminer before 880 GPUs coming. At least we have similiar character from 750ti for some trials. |

whirlpool can be bitsliced, I think and it may also be possible to split its state across several threads, like our quad groestl implementation does.
which means x15 hashrate can be further improved ? I suppose so... regarding whirlpool coin, it will require some extra coding in both amd and nvidia code... so it could really be cpu only for a little while... ( wonder why they didn't do a ninja launch... at least I can work on my wallet...) Why we can't just remove other algos based on x15 miner? the first algo is the one that give problem, if this was x2 with first algo being the one in x15/x14/x13, then just remove everything else and you are done, but this isn't the case for qubit luffa512 was using some extra code, which i found in blake512 also, both are first algo, i suppose that for whirlpool you need some additional extra code compared to those two... Ok, so i need to setgenerate at first run. I'll be ready with 10 instance with 8 cores each. |

Hey folks - we should respond to these questions regarding tsiv's bounty: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=656841.msg7536834#msg7536834I would like to comment briefly on awarding the bounty since I am responsible for the largest pledge (I think).
From what I have seen, tsiv should receive a bounty payment. I'm not sure he should receive the full amount quite yet. (Though I am also not saying he should not.)
I would like to hear public comments on the following points before reaching a conclusion.
My criteria for awarding the bounty are:
1. Quality. Is the miner 100% reliable, or does it crash or hang?
If quality was important, they would never have used cryptonote (most crappy wallet/network usage disk usage, user unfriendliness, etc...) very picky for such a coin... may-be they should first try to improve the quality of their wallet before judging on the quality of what other do I've sent u PM, thanks |

300 block mining confirms are too much, many miners won't hop in. And i just remember what people said "high net hashrate is healty", but how it could be?

so i just want to make sure i get this right...
this coin launched well over 3 weeks ago, and just as the announcement is made here the block being mined is 1900+... meaning, not only have the most profitable blocks have been all mined out, but even the second most profitable batch of blocks is just about done...
even though the original announcement had a link to mintpal (link went to their main page, and has now been removed), after all this time this coin is yet to hit an exchange... only pool mining is doing just over 100mh (nothing for x11), and the total nethash is pathetic...
have i missed anything ?
