Did the "dev" of Razor, abandon it..... Theyve been inactive for a long time. Price of Razor is near nothing, and no features has been added...

Woah, why is there suddenly a huge buy wall at 125k on Mintpal after someone bought up to 139k?
That came out of nowhere...
To chase it into the sell walls at 140k would be my guess. I disagree, I think this is all part of a move back towards 200k..... Im expecting a jolt ant moment and some big jumps coming. Buy wall eaten. looks like you may be right artoo |

I think it would be a good idea to let the community know what the team is up to each day.
We always have a lot going on and it's futile to try report everything, but I'll give you regular updates on the agenda.
Today:
- Dan is working on the next update to secure private messaging (EM).
- I'm drafting the new OP for this thread.
- We're updating website materials, the FAQ, etc.

People have been waiting for the ethereum ipo for months, this is probably just the beginning. I personally am staying staying from it. Too much wishiwashiness and way to complicated for me. |

Please for goodness sakes have some sort of Focus Group to test how people will receive your announcements, it really is bad the way they're being delivered. Also, when you say 'weekend release' you better make sure you release that news on a Saturday and not late on a Sunday.
LOL, what? Last time I checked Sunday night is still considered the weekend. The only thing the PR team could have handled better with regards to the REV2 release was to have better managed expectations. I feel that the team delivered adequately, but people seemed to have had unfounded expectations that were not met - expectations like "weekend release" somehow means Saturday night.  What? I thought weekend release meant Saturday morning at 12:01 in the am. |

I always chuckle when people say they believe in a coin and have a long-term vision yet focus too heavily on trading it to lower their basis. Nothing wrong with doing that and more power to the traders that pull it off, but don't for one second think you are helping the coin by "hoping" for a pullback in price to buy back your position. If you were truly long-term, the short-term price action would be of no consequence to you and further, you would want to see price rise, versus fall.
he clearly said that he needed to liquidate, probably also because he needed money to make his amazing gift to the XC community. Luckily it happened that he was able to get back in at a lower price, if I may add, karma at its finest  apart from this case, I agree with you...I got involved in XC simply as a trader, but eventually remained for what this great project is and will be Needing to liquidate would have meant that all the proceeds from what he sold went towards expenses. If that's the case, he wouldn't have been able to buy any coins at a lower price unless he either A) Contributed extra capital or B) Had left over proceeds from where he sold. Either way, if it's A, why wouldn't you sold the difference between the capital you currently have to put up for the domain and such and still had some of your coins? If it's B, then he's not helping the price as is--traders mentality of lowering your basis. Oblox, you seem very concerned with how I handle my xc and my finances. You obviously don't know what xc is all about, this may be the wrong thread for you! |

Over the last few weeks I have sold every last one of my XC and during that time have been negotiating with the owner of xcurrency.com, who has owned the domain since 2001. As of recent the domain now belongs to me; I don't want to say what I paid for it as I may look like a fool, it wasn't cheap. I hope this says something about how serious I take XC. I have been accumulating many other XC related domain names as well.
I believe in the team’s long-term vision and want to help the community in some way. I am not a programmer and my skills are limited when it comes to tech so I have something else in mind. Eventually I will use the domain to launch an XCurrency related startup, but for now I think we should make it as simple as possible for people to access XCurrency related info, the XCurrency.com domain name can assist in a large way. This will be temporary but I would like to gift the domain name to the community by directing it at the xc-official page some time over the next week.
It took a huge leap of faith for me to make this purchase and I am aware the domain could be worthless in several months, however I think we have a huge opportunity sitting in our hands right now and I will help in any way I can.
If the community has any constructive ideas about other ways the domain could possibly be used in the meantime please let me know. Also if anyone has ideas about future apps, wallets, exchanges, etc., please private message me as I am open to and looking for people to collaborate with.

Wait, you sold all your XC over the past few weeks yet you believe in the vision so much that you wish to make such a generous donation and assist in the growth of this project? Am I missing something? Are you hoping to get a lower entry point? Or did you need to liquidate all your XC to pay for things like the domain? I needed to liquidate, found a lower entry point today and picked up 1k at 140. I'm not worried about the prices right now, the tech is all I care about ATM. |

thank you for your effort. I think that the only difference between succesful people/projects/etc and the ones that do not succed is simply the bravery of the former to choose to try and risk, even if there is only sacrifice and uncertainty before them. XC community has plenty of these brave people, and moreover some of them are even professionals working relentlessly to create something worthy. With these premises XC is bound to succeed, and your effort is definitely one of the main bricks building up the wall. Thanks. I can't read Dutch but according to xctalk the Dutch are already having a meet in greet in the Netherlands. Pretty cool! Wanted to try that here in the ATL but it seems we're all too spread out. Maybe some day.

Essentially, they want to make it so only venture capitalists and the wealthy, whom are already lawyered up can operate in the state. Crypto won't fail, but if legislation like this is passed in the u.s., people will abandon bitcoin. Xc is the likely candidate to take the deserters. abandon is a strong word, but I am fully inclined to believe that XC's value will grow exponentially. We have to remember Bitcoin is still the only crypto that people outside of trading and these forums know about. Alot of people I know are beginning to talk about bitcoin, whether its just news, rumors or information passed on from others. If you ask anyone about Litecoin, Dark, or any other crypto they won't have a clue what you're talking about. This is where XC needs to shine in marketing and PR IMO because it can make the coin's value be worth .001 or .05 XC will have possibly the best features available in anon...I dont doubt that for one second, but whats so good about that if its never marketed correctly in the end. Marketing and PR will be the biggest upcoming challenge for this coin, and if it succeeds, it will become oh so valuable. Im both anxious and excited to see what the XC team delivers in the upcoming months. I agree with you completely. I am not saying everyone will abandon bitcoin, but there are people who will. I have already met plenty who aren't happy with the direction bitcoin is going and have exited their positions and invested completely in alts. I by the way, am not one of those people. |

No one does We have really bad internet presence. Only once have I heard any mention of xc on a youtube crypto show. But most of the times when I read an article about anon coins and what they have to offer, it is about drk or cloak. Twitter has just a few (1-2) mentions per hour while cloak has a shitload. I really don't think many people outside of these forums know that xc already has a very good implementation of anon , possibly the best. There is only one or two articles on the internet about xc and they keep repeating themselves on all the sites. So we should all tweet, blog and even letting the darknet people on reddit know that we exist. Paying for exposure is great but to get the ball rolling we need to create o lot of awareness so that people will write about xc because they want to. To do this we first need to let everybody know that the only true anon coin is #Xcurrency. By all means, go to the forums and be the xc choirboy. I dont think anyone here will take issue with that. But like the team says, the tech should be airtight first. If its not, those people you guide here will go back to the forums and spread the word that we have bad tech. That is bad word of mouth, something I dont want to see. Why hype and market if we dont have the completed product yet. Btc is where it is because slow and steady wins the race every time. What's the rush? |
