81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: October 02, 2014, 09:11:33 PM
Dev, can you answer about all this?

I think it is the right time to do it.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: October 02, 2014, 11:54:11 AM
Morning/gday boys and girls.

How does the day greet you?
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: September 29, 2014, 07:48:46 PM

Why Metcalf? Why XC?

Is it possible that in this galaxy we can't find anybody else?

Dev, can we have your statement about current status and updates?
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: September 29, 2014, 10:39:06 AM
I think the time is right for updates.

@Supercointeam, Supercoindev

We all make mistakes, you as a developers, we as investors and common people.

I could understand you're angry, pissed off, annoyed, whatever ... you name it.

I know also that english is not your native language, but that shouldn't be the barrier between all of us.

You kept all your earlier promises, and handled issues pretty well. That was harder situation than it is now.

A lot of us had our lack of faith. I'm not different than others. But, I still have hopes about this.

version" : "v3.1.1.0 (Trustless with Multisig)",
"protocolversion" : 60013,
"walletversion" : 60000,
"balance" : 175108.00423692

This is my balance. I was dumping, but I re-bought after conversation with our friend CryptoBull. I was not manipulating, just being unhappy.

Somebody called those who are holding fools. Ok, if I am fool, then let it be because I have trust in you. A lot of us have it too.

You have your community. Maybe small, maybe imperfect, but you do have it, and we could grow and achieve much bigger potential. We can't do it alone. You must lead and continue with the good work.

Don't skip this written lines. These are not only words, they're written with emotions too, although emotions are weakness in crypto world, not a strength.

Please, answer our questions, and let's continue where we have stopped.

Best regards and respect.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 24, 2014, 06:18:50 PM
Website: needs updating, still mentions that supercoin will host a mini-IPO,it doesn't contain the new wallets or nodes, links are broken etc (may cause confusion)
Twitter needs updating, only a few tweets a month is not going to be enough.
Thread title: needs updating, people have upgraded to new wallet weeks ago. Prime advertising space is being wasted, could mention something about Multisig, gathering interest.
Road Map: needs updating, no dates are given past Aug 25th, a month ago now. Longer this goes un-updated, the more investors will be weary
Community: needs updating, self explanatory, majority of us have no idea if anything is being progressed in the last month.

Seems to be a common theme here, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

Lets think for a second:  If you were an outside investor who read a new article on supercoin, came to this thread and saw a road map which stopped at Aug 25th, the official twitter account with 2 tweets in 2.5 weeks, a website with outdated information and broken links, and a frustrated community who has received no updates or future plans in a month. Would you jump at the opportunity to invest a substantial amount, or would you have second thoughts? These are problems that need to be addressed.
Maybe another member would be willing to take over the website and official twitter and have it more active.

@Supercointeam
See above, these are important things.

I agree. Also one of the big next things would be simplified wallet installation.

About donations, once the progress continues, I'm sure there will be much more. I will donate too.

@Supercointeam
Let's rebuild confidence and announce updates or their schedule.

@CryptoBull
I would be more than glad to hear your ideas.

Good morning to all.

What's today on the "menu"?

Where do we start from?
90  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 20, 2014, 01:14:56 PM
If you want find out whether or not BCX has uncovered a vulnerability, then just convince realsolid to add Monero to the markets at mcxNOW. Wink

The easiest way to be sure BCX will not attack is for a little brown nosing. Admit we beleive he can attack and we respect him and there will be no attack forthcoming. I don't know for sure what would happen if the opposite were to be true. No need to find out. Auroracoin and the other crapcoins were an easier target, but the attitude did not do them any favors.

I'm not sure what will be harder, convincing RS to add XMR (never will happen) or waiting for some much-needed elaboration on such lofty claims...  Roll Eyes yawn. Unlikely to see either.  I'm slowly accumulating whilst there is few nosebleeds on the sidewalks..

If XMR is vulnerable, then I think it would be most beneficial for XMR to be attacked and fixed. I would love to understand the vulnerability if one exists.

I do not hold any XMR, but have interest in seeing the underlying technology validated.

Thank you for your effort working on this issue Wiskunde!

From my point of view, you probably will not find an experienced reviewer in this thread but need to research & contact the relevant guys directly.
They are probably not reading our lines in here.

You're welcome, hopefully I will find a qualified person.

Thank you all for your efforts and support.

@CryptoBull, you don't need to ask me, you know the answers to all asked and unasked questions.

"To do" list with could be made with the community, if dev would kindly accept to do some thing from that list.

Obviously, POD and audit are rejected by him.

He has the right to do so, but...

If not doing that, there are dozens of other things that could be done.
Let me fix this audit is never ever rejected by us. We just cant find competenet & able developers can really check what we did (multisig based trustless system) it's such an advanced technology we cant find a good dev to check. This technology never seen before in any altcoin. it's very audit-able if you check our whitepaper and we accepted to share some part of codes which maybe asked by this audit dev or we can answer him.
The only multisig product dev we can find was openBazaar and they seem to be too busy with their project. we still look for some people can check our whitepaper and some of our codes and confirm it's trustless and works.

Don't let me be misunderstood. My intentions were never been disrespectful. I had the my own conclusion that our team is not doing that. I still do. No offense,please, i don't mean anything wrong, or bad.

Superteam, how is possible that nobody is competent? Crypto Cobain, Kristov Atlas, Mike Murphy (my choice for such an audit, because he's really a great crypto fan, and honest man), gmaxwell???, Mike Hearn???,Peter Todd??? Last 3 are from the Bitcoin team...

Call me uninformed, and i would even confess that myself , but isn't the Open Bazaar based on slightly different coding? How would they review us? If they are competent, @CryptoBull and others, let's literally beg them to do so. Please explain.

Finally, if nothing of that is done - it is not really a problem. Those who have done POD could put somebody else as a dev, and still to remain unknown. It's not a 100% proof method...

What really the problem is, it would be on the list today, or in a couple of days. Those are some ideas : investigating about coin issues, help members who had trouble, or put them on the pillar of shame in public, if it would be proven that they were liars.

Wallet update, with integrated conf, so that non-experienced users could install it too, and stop saying that wallet is not working (it does, but not all of us know how to install it properly). Version with the installer would be great too.

We will talk more these days.

Best regards, folks.

So I had a problem with the wallet the other day and sent supercointeam a PM on Sept 12th:

First message:

So I was clearing out my wallet: SSjebHo3EG3fKiM6GrNhjyTMDfnis13Bxa sending all of my coins to the 3 exchanges so that I could make a new wallet and transfer them back into a new wallet.dat file and continue staking and this happens with the last transaction:

Status: conflicted
Date: 9/11/2014 16:54
To: Bittrex STtJD2DbQ3LJoa42vKzcz6gL9BuyrsfQ6S
Debit: -34797.859 SUPER
Transaction fee: -0.0016 SUPER
Net amount: -34797.8606 SUPER
Transaction ID: b98edc5e2dff6122541d4a9dfd05448b819f13df27302a5b25d954c040c45774

To give some background on my wallet I had not used it during the fork at all.  I had no issues staking either.  I am going to try to see if I can recover these funds but I thought I would let you know of my problem before doing so.

Thanks

Second Message:

Ok. Did a repair wallet command in the console and it stated 136 coins were bad.  It gave me the remainder back and I was able to send them to my Bittrex address:

Status: 9 confirmations, broadcast through 9 nodes
Date: 9/11/2014 17:22
To: Bittrex STtJD2DbQ3LJoa42vKzcz6gL9BuyrsfQ6S
Debit: -33537.21 SUPER
Transaction fee: -0.0016 SUPER
Net amount: -33537.2116 SUPER
Transaction ID: 610d2fd9dd45a343835835d3792f0f0301e1fccbefe86c0a0e578c99e389c24b

Thanks

Third Message:

Well I guess I lost approx 1260.649 coins from repairing the wallet as you can see from the two transactions I showed you.  Something is wrong with this new wallet.  What I mean by "new" is the trustless wallet.

Can you give me a reason why I shouldn't just dump these 135k coins on the market?

There is no demand for this coin.  Your community of followers seem more interested in their supercoin net worth then coming up with uses for this coin.  Screaming POD POD POD is never going to happen since your obviously in a country that does not recognize crypto currencies in a positive manner.  I do not care about POD.  POD and an audit are only for speculative short term swings.  What this coin needs is a use for real long term value.

Plus before any real anon transactions can take place the trustless supersend feature needs to be the default and only way to transmit coins.

I will wait for your response, but I am rarely wrong about trading conditions and without something big this coin may never reach its potential.

Good luck.

I never got a response.  I then thought, crap I have stuck with this coin for months originally buying in at 10k I will just hold the coins.  So transfered all the coins to a new wallet.  The wallet staked the first day and then never staked any days afterwards... I could look past FUD and forks but when the wallet behaves in such a way to make me lose money I'm out.

I wish everyone good luck.

I was reading your post carefully.

I hope that supercointeam or supercoindev would answer you about this matter, and conclude this mystery. I would not consider you neither as a fud-er, nor i would jugde your statements.

But, repairing wallet simply doesn't take away your coins, except correcting already mismatched amount of them, if you have more or less that it should be....It can be checked @ the blockchain.

@CryptoBull

Well I'm crazy enough to follow you, bro.  Smiley

Count me in, besides what I think or have said.

Hi Grgech kapitalista, you re back.

Tell me please if the sell wall of 1.227BTC@1000sat on mintpal can be eaten in no time. The price is finally on the rise. Time to buy some super-extreme undervalued coins.

This extremely low price could easily be one of the greatest abomination in altcoin history.  Grin

It's eaten, m8.

I kindly suggest collection some cryptos for the Donation wallets so we can have some more promo activities. we collected successfully 0.7 BTC and spend already for marketing. We can repeat this.

Supercointeam

I think you should stop advertising until you have a finished product that installs easily to release.
Advertising something that does not install easily just chases away half the new users.

I will post this question again, because a working installer is a standard feature of professional software release.

The current windows build does not have an installer, and does not work as downloaded.

When are you going to fix this?

What is the schedule for creating a working installer for all platforms?

+1000

He's right on all accounts.

Though I'm doubtful Dev will respond. Ugh.

A couple days ago there were 0.7BTC. May we know what have been spent on?

Those people who knew me better know that i wouldn't sell at loss, if i wouldn't be 100% sure that dream is over.

If we would ever see price uptrend, those holders who are remained would 99.9% dump too... So, my apologies, but I see no future here.
