82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC rich 14K$ till this Sunday? on: February 19, 2018, 12:17:02 PM

The reason is because we have never seen a pump that takes bitcoin to 40% profits in just a few days.

Well you know, because we never have been seen it before does not mean that it will never happen, especially if we are talking about bitcoin... i'm pretty sure that more difficult things is going to happen soon...

Anyway im sure that if OP change the time and add few weeks or maybe some months most of the current answers in this thread will be differents.
83  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why you do not believe in the biblical God? Justification on: February 19, 2018, 11:57:03 AM
1. In the Bible they write that God is merciful and compassionate. But this world is arranged so that living beings are forced to kill and eat other living beings. Just for survive. But if God came up with such a world, then he is not at all merciful and compassionate. This could come up only a maniac. Is not it? After all, you would have created a completely different world full of love and harmony. So in fact?

Someone could tell you: "That's why God made us more intelligent than the rest of species, to avoid it and let to the others species to live as they want, since they have no choice"

2. They say: "...But such a complex world could not arise by itself, it was created by someone, God" - and I ask: "Who created God?", They say to me: "Well, God appeared on his own ... "
But is not it easier to assume that the world arose by itself?
Occam's Razor in Action (-:

That's why God is God, because he is.

Occam's Razor in Action (-:

For me the simply answer to everything is that there is something bigger than us that we will never understand, call it God or whatever you want.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we reduce Bitcoin’s energy use? on: February 19, 2018, 10:45:47 AM
Obviously the energy consumption for bitcoin mining is a real problem, but you are assuming that in a near future this could not be improved with less energy consumption of bitcoin mining hardware or even by the use of green energy (which need to be improved too). Bitcoin by herself, is not the main problem here.

Maybe we as humanity should work on getting to better sources of energy, instead? One such option is to produce the energy with solar panels on Earth's orbit and the energy would be beamed using microwave technology to Earth's surface. This work is well advanced, you know, and it would really be green energy.

That's one of the keys but one of the main problems here are the higher taxes that governments want you to pay for the use of green energy, also the elevated price of hardware made impossible for some users to use it.
85  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-16] Spanish Government Eyes Tax Benefits for Crypto Companies on: February 19, 2018, 10:34:44 AM
In a country where in last years lot of corrupt politicians and businessmen have been caught for his fraudulency atcs(i know what im talking about...), i'm a little bit scared that this will not end well.

Anyway this seems to be a pretty good news for me and if this finally goes well, i hope that more countries do the same soon since this is something that must be done, yes or yes.
86  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-19] Canadian Bank to Offer Secure Vault for Cryptocurrencies on: February 19, 2018, 10:06:02 AM
I really understand that there is people who are scared to stored everything on his own computers but this is a step that must be done, people should broke that fear, i'm not saying that in "some occasions" will not be useful, but if they want to use crypto with the implicit freedom that entails, they must start to learn to do it yes or yes...
87  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-17] Financial Regulators Are Unable to Control the Crypto Market on: February 17, 2018, 04:06:55 PM
"regulators are unable to exercise control over the ever-growing cryptocurrency market because obsolete existing legislation gives them only limited power"

After read it in that article just made me think about that maybe they are unable to control it, but they will find a way, even if it needs to be modified to "control" it, over time, im pretty sure about it, if they need to modify something to their own benefit, then, there is no problems ....
88  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2018-02-15 Warren Buffett deputy wants 'STUPID Bitcoin destroyed' on: February 15, 2018, 02:30:40 PM
...The media certainly don't help...

I truly believe that this is one of the keys, in this era, where people seem to believe in everything they see on television or the news, there is a true misinformation about bitcoin, let's hope that this is only an obstacle that will be resolved soon and people awakens their minds ...

Anyway, what really seems to be totally destroyed is the brain of this Warren Buffett guy, if you think that the US government must destroy the bitcoin, then, seems that he does not understand nothing about how Bitcoin works, so the rest of his comments do not make sense to me.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: February 15, 2018, 02:19:27 PM
What do you think are the effects of btc in your country? Because in my country it thus not affect the economy of ours. Share yours.

At the moment there is not real impact effect in my country because bitcoin is still not using a lot, no ATMs in most of  the cities etc etc, so what people know is more or least what the tv or newspaper misinformation them, anyway in last months im noticing that there is more events related to bitcoin on my country, so lets hope in a near future people start to move/use his money into bitcoin so it could affect in a positive way on out country economy Wink
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Party's over. Go get a job, you lazy animals... on: February 15, 2018, 01:56:54 PM
Strange times we live in. Crypto speculation, YouTube views, paid content. Yet no real contribution to the human evolution. A good professional is getting harder and harder to find. This generation is full of fucks who pose on YouTube, unboxing shit, and earning 100k dollars per month. Or "great economists" who are betting on a zero-value digital coin. This is insane. Go get a fuckin job, get a degree, go invent and participate in a project that has real benefits for our technological evolution. You are chasing ghosts and the next generations will have you impaled as the idiots of human history whose only occupation was to gamble and make selfies in moronic view-hungry vlogs on the internet.

So yes, hold your currencies like your life depends on it. Shallow and boring.

BTC < 8k USD. The measure of our generation...

I must agree that there seems to be a "degeneration" on this current generation, but this does not mean that there is not good professionals or people who still use his brain to do more things than watch the stupid tv or play games without any objectives in life.

Sooner or later, most of the jobs that we currently have will disappeared and there will not be any "second" job that people could do, so maybe crypto is a good way to start "working" in his own future, don't you think?
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: February 14, 2018, 02:11:57 PM
I don't save bitcoins. I encash all my profit from bitcoin. And save it for my children. I am afraid if i hold bitcoin then suddenly its price will drop.

Is not a bad practice, if you need the cash of course, but instead of do it at 100%, i mean instead of sell all of your bitcoins, you could save an small amount and keep it safe, who know, maybe in the next years you will get more money by saving that small amount than with all those bitcoins sells you did Wink
92  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-10] The IRS Takes Its Tax Evasion Hunt to the Blockchain on: February 14, 2018, 02:02:31 PM
Bad news for those who buy on an exchange as their coins will start to leave a trace.

It's an expected development in this market with more regulations being enforced by authorities. It won't take long before people who don't pay their due taxes to regret having fully verified themselves there. I have even considered once to ask if the exchanges I am verified at offer the possibility to delete my account with all my personal information. I can't seem to find anything in their TOS, so I have to email them for real in the coming days to ask what the options are. I am actually worried, because an exchange can easily be forced to hand over user information with all trading and deposit/withdrawal logs.

Exactly, you are not the only one who have that "fear", but as you know this is only the beginning, with time all of them will require it, what made me doubt if this is good or not :S, anyway i hope that you didn't ask to exchanges like polo to do it, if yes, i'm pretty sure you are still waiting for a reply, like me, for more than 2 months at the moment...
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever been scammed? on: February 14, 2018, 01:45:10 PM
Normally, is hard to find someone who have been into the bitcoin world for a long time who have not been scammed, the reason seems to be usually the same, the lack of knowledge or information or just because the project fail, looks at mtgox....

what the project was it? Why did you believe in this project?

I can't remember the name, i forget it faster Tongue, anyway was only a small amount of bitcoins that i could afford to lose Tongue
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: February 13, 2018, 12:13:57 PM
What i just feel after reading that comparison is just the fear that some people have because they lost the train of earlier adopters and now want to extol the technology while degrade bitcoin as it is...nothing new, the good news for all of them is that is not so late, they still can come with all of us in this long travel....
95  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-13] Australian High School to Host ‘Educational Presentation’ on Crypto on: February 13, 2018, 11:04:19 AM
What they are doing now will be done by others in next years, bitcoin is not here only to stay, is here to evolved and our childrens are the one who will do it in the next future, educate them now is fundamental, when i talk about education i don't mean that we must force them to use it, no, we must educate and show them what it is. Well done Australian people, you understand it pretty well.
96  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-11] Senate Candidate Accepts Largest Contribution in BTC on: February 13, 2018, 10:44:00 AM
...What are you talking about?...

...Relax! He isn't spreading hate or false news. Can't you seperate joyful sarcasm from serious talk?...

@richardsNY understood me perfectly Wink, i could not describe it in a better way, so thank you @richardsNY and i'm so sorry that you @Qartersa misunderstood me, i hope that now with his explanation you could know me a little bit more Wink, btw i must say that i agree with you @Qartersa on everything you reply to me even if this was so desafortunate Tongue

Be ready guys to see all those type of news more and more, bitcoin is being accepted for those who reject it some years ago, just look at guys like JPmorgan....
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-02-12] Bitcoin Private Fork Aiming to Make Bitcoin Anonymous on: February 13, 2018, 10:21:00 AM
...Apparently, it will be another real competitor to the original bitcoin...

No, i don't agree with you, this is just another one alt coin that in the end will not be more popular/useful than the rest of the currents alt coins, but i like it because this bring two things to the table:

1-more ideas that could be "implemented" on the real bitcoin in a future...
2-more free money for all Wink
98  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: February 12, 2018, 12:44:53 PM
Obviously something is happening, nobody can deny it and everybody can notice it, just remember what weather you had some years ago 10+, and compare it with the current one... Anyway instead of care about what's happening to our planet now, we should care ALWAYS about his health, but what about if we are just suffering a natural climate cycle?, don't forget that this is very possible...
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea will not impose a virtual currency ban in the near future. on: February 12, 2018, 12:09:57 PM
Instead of the good news that bitcoin will not be prohibited in one more country im not sure if others will take it into consideration, you know, i mean that seems like we are in the era of " if others do it, i will do it", since korea leaders seems like is not a friendly man for others and not mentally balanced ( i hope that nobody will feel offended for it, is not my intention )
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Pair of British Entrepreneurs Sold 50 Luxury Flats For Bitcoin In Dubai on: February 12, 2018, 11:51:38 AM
The property on offer in Bitcoin ranges from studios that cost $130,000 a piece, approximately equal to 15.5 bitcoins at press time, to two-bedroom apartments for $380,000 each or, roughly, 45 bitcoins.

Intelligent move, they will multiply their money this year, maybe by looking at people like them and how many profit they will get, other investors could jump into bitcoin too, seems like there are good movements with bitcoins and housing in that country.
