That is the trend of where we are now, with the modern world being able to mix technology and the internet more profusely than ever before it has opened up some jobs and activities that otherwise moght be considered non-existent a few years or decades back but what it also insinuates is that the world is progressing and with this progress it inches towards a world with a need for a virtual currency and digitized monetaries

Some predictions tell that soon there will be no full time jobs anymore. At least not in form we know now. Most people will do two or more different jobs, part time, great deal from home and connected to Internet and other modern technologies. And that is not some distant future.
People have to learn to be more flexible, adjust to the moment and be ready to change jobs more often.
I think jobs connected with cryptocurrencies fit into that picture.

As I read your statement you are totally an idiot and why you are even here and gives us commands like "get a fuckin job, get a degree, go invent and participate in a project that has real benefits for our technological evolution" as if you do what you said. First of all, if you dont understand the real purpose of cryptocurrency then you may explore this forum. Read threads for newbies, technicalities and some stuffs so that you understand why we are here and not just simply posting here ranting because you lose your money because of crash in the market? I guess?

And what do you suggest people do, as more and more companies start using automation instead of hiring people?
I think it's a good thing that people are starting to look into different ways to become self-employed, I don't care that it doesn't directly contribute to society.

Do you think it's so great that someone spends 10 hours per day in a factory packing stupid shit in boxes?
So good for society... That we have someone packing up hundreds of fidget spinners every day.

Not everyone has to be an engineer or doctor, entertainment certainly has its place in society.

Heh, that's because its all there is to it in the trending section it doesn't mean that people only give attentions to this things. There are so many things that have been developed in this age since we are already in the Cyber Age. Many things are being discovered, and innovations emerge, it was being televised or being announced but not all them are having the attentions they needed.

Just because you didn't see them it means it doesn't exist.

we must be prepared for an era of progress that can not be stopped. everything you say can be true, but how not just be a part of the audience, we also have to be an actor, at least be an actor for ourselves. With bitcoin I feel my life as an actor for myself, with a target audience, the audience is my own family.

Why so negative about it? Crypto is an industry right now, it IS a job. It's the job of the future. If people did not pay for it, then nobody would sell it. There is a demand, and thus an industry. If you can't quit your day job, there is no need to take it out on people who can. I'm sure there are lots of different people making money on the crypto business: housewives, students, people who do have a day job, and even teenagers. You don't like people making money off Youtube? Don't watch it. If nobody was watching, they would not be receiving any funds. If you put enough skills into learning something new, wow, you can make money! It's a fair for all market - you no longer need to find big guys with fat wallets to fund your good business project, you can start an ICO and not go through humiliating business meetings or look like you're begging for money from rich guys. I think it's a great future!

I must agree that there seems to be a "degeneration" on this current generation, but this does not mean that there is not good professionals or people who still use his brain to do more things than watch the stupid tv or play games without any objectives in life.

Sooner or later, most of the jobs that we currently have will disappeared and there will not be any "second" job that people could do, so maybe crypto is a good way to start "working" in his own future, don't you think?

I've heard some pretty stern criticisms of Bitcoin before, but I don't think it has ever been compared to the dross that somehow passes for "entertainment" on YouTube these days.  That's quite probably the harshest insult to date, so kudos for that, I guess.  YouTube is pretty terrible for the most part, no arguments there.

But I'd like to think that those people who are educating others about technologies that provide greater self-determination and personal responsibility are hopefully a few steps above the paid content crowd who, as you quite rightly point out, don't contribute anything of particular worth.  But if we can enlighten future generations about the benefits of not having to rely on corrupt banks or governments and help shape a brand new system that revolutionises monetary freedom in a way that was never previously thought to be possible, that has to count for something, right?

I know someone who is the Vice President of Lazy. Invested heavily on bitcoins last year, got a windfall of around $50,000 and now is into mining. Still has too much time in his hands but would rather bum around than work 40 hours a week. We’re both on waiting mode right now. I wait in my office desk while he’s playing PC games. Some guys gave all the luck.

True that, the only constant thing in this world is change. And those who oppose changes tends to gets stuck in the past or just live in the moment. We have seen this with most big companies who gets wiped out by their innovative competitor. So yes, let them hold to their physical and fiat currencies and see the world change before their eyes.

people put too much faith into education and technology. Things like degree, job, does it really make you something better? Does paticipation in projects make you better? What about people who like working on things alone or people who are artists? Do you think their work is meaningless and worthless?

I undestand that you are bitter that the only thing everybody is concerned about is bitcoin price, but you've put too much negative thinking into your post for me to be able to relate to it in any meaningful way

For me theres nothing wrong in making your passion as your way of living. We live in a world where technologies become a part of our life and part of it is social media. Atleast they use it to make it as their jobs rather than sitting around and doing nothing. And as long as they didnt make something wrong then its fine. If you could just see the other side of the picture it can be an inspiration that anything can be done if you have the willingness to do it.

The party is not over this is just the beginning. The main stream society is yet to accept cryoto currencies. The world is dynamic and it will continue to be so until the end. The world has evolved from stone age to modern age. Development and researches are still on going. You only know what you know. In this forum I believe we have graduates with first and second degrees and also those those with full time employment. We all have our reasons to do what we do.

Your statement and your words is jot that good that anyone can read. You’re saying such “fucking” “idiots” “insane” “moron” etc... How could you say those world even if you don’t know all of us here. Maybe you see few people who are addicted to gamblings but you don’t say such things like thing. That their lives and you have no rights to call them like that. Maybe they are lazy and always doing gamblings but don’t accuse them that they are idiots. We live in a cryptocurrency worl like in this kind of things, it’s natural to few of us can do bettings and gamblings. They are the one who decide from themselves and you don’t have the rights to call them idiots. Just make your own business and work for your own without insulting them.
