81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: August 12, 2018, 08:40:19 PM
As long as there are progress, for what concern me doesn't really matter if the updates are reported here or not. By following the slack channel or github you can easily be up to date  Smiley

People start discussing updates here even as soon as the dev mentions them in slack. It doesn't matter where they are reported because supporters rapidly start discussing them in all Sirius's social media channels.

Discussion is one thing, but it's time for actual updates in development. There needs to be some progress soon.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: August 12, 2018, 08:39:31 PM
While almost everybody is complaining about the prize of Bitclave, the prize is doing more than 500% today and is sitting as the the number one highest daily and weekly earner on coinmarketcap. The only problem I have is that the trading volume is still too small, a paltry 80K 24hours volume. I hope this is not just a clear pump and dump group taking advantage of the low liquidity of BitClave token?

this pump only in hitbtc,,
just as usual when the wallet of any crypto is not available for deposits and withdrawal,, the price of any crypto will grow hard in hitbtc,,
as i know, only in hitbtc, and this is happend for all crypto not only bitclave
regards

Why are they doing such things? Is it on purpose? Or just a bug? Because I really can't understand what the aim of such "pumps" can be. Is it for attracting attention to the exchange only?

It's really weird. I am sure that's not normal. Why should people buy a token which can not be withdrawn or deposited?
No one buy the real token on the other exchanges. But demand is that high for the fake token.
It's normal because when there is a huge order and the volume is low, it will most likely result to pump.
But in reality it will not last because some would sell but they can't due to lack of volatility, mind you that during the pump, the volume is still less than $100K.

But right now it goes down dramatically and very slowly. It's true that you can't buy much either, but the market will need a lot to recover.

Yes, and now its far away from the main ico price,,
Absolutely this project need more demands tomake the price grow
Regards

There is hardly any value left if you compare it to the ICO price. Bitclave is a bad investment for now, but maybe it will improve with some development.

Crex24 is on maintenance work deposit and withdraw dont work at the moment support-team from crex24 is on work

It's a problem in my opinion that they should resolve as soon as possible because otherwise people will stop trading on their site.

What I have to do to join the sale, do I have to go through KYC?

Almost always when there are white sheets for participation, complete identification of the person is needed. So I think so you need to go through this procedure of complete KYC.

Yes i think all ICO investors should be used to that, its a must have now.

If the goal as a project is to stay compliant and don't have any conflicts with authorities then yes, you have to pass KYC for your buyers.

Thats true, but lately many projects are asking for that, unfortunately.
I personally dont mind KYC when im investing, but im not fan of that when im doing bounty camapign,as sometimes reward is so small, that its not worth iot to share your personal details for 10 dolars worth of tokens.

Bounty campaigns conducting KYC is not logical as you are not an investor. You perform some work for them.

Thats true, but lately many projects are asking for that, unfortunately.

This is usually because projects don't have Token ready yet and there is clearly no utility.
Our project and token utility is ready and you can see it.

@BonTonPlease investing your time is still some kind of investment, it doesn't always need to be in terms of $/ETH to call it investment.

Am I your customer when I promote your project? Or are you my customer? "Know your customer" is what KYC means, but I am not your customer ever when I participate in your bounty campaign.

Where exactly is your team located,do you have some kind of main office?

Do projects these days really need like main office?

Not really IMO. The IT sector is scattered all around the world and it works fine for some time now. No need to have everybody in the same room.

Even the big companies around the world are sending their employs to work at home multiple times a week as it has been shown it reduces costs and boosts productivity. That has to become the future of workplaces. No need to cram people in the same place with all the technology available.

that is definitely a lot more eco-friendly as well. In the IT industry a lot of energy is wasted unnecessarily so this is a good approach. For blockchain-based project it can reduce the harm mining makes.

The productivity boost only happens for people who are very self-motivated and determined. If you need guidance it's not so good to work from home.

Spammer alert, this is why merit is created. On this day, it's hard to rank up because of this kind of post and users here in  bitcointalk.org . So sad when you are serious in this ranking system.

If you check out most threads here on this forum the merit system still hasn't done a whole lot to prevent spammers from posting nonstop.

The creators of the forum should simply ban the publication of non-moderated topics and delete topics with spam.

You can't  "simply" do that because that requires judgment. Who decides what is spam and what is not? Sometimes it is very obvious, but sometimes not. It can be quite subjective and that makes it difficult to draw a line.

It is claimed that Visa reaches 24,000 per second, this figure is not entirely accurate, in fact Visa processes about 1,700 transactions per second, was founded in 1958,
a working 60 years and expand its capabilities.
Ripple is ahead of other crypto currencies 1500,
PayPal 193,
litecoin 56,
Dash 48.

In my opinion you cannot really compare directly transactions processed by visa and any crypto system as they work in a different way. Maybe there could be some other parameter instead that would be more appropriate to compare them.

The bottom line is that the user will draw the comparison that you say isn't the right one. Speed, security and ease of use is what counts for them.

I'm trying to sell my bitclave off of hitbtc but it won't even let me make a market order.. I would really like to get everything thing off of hitbtc. it's the worst exchange I've used ever.

It is a bad exchange yes, but also is it even worth selling at these prices? I don't know when you bought but you are most likely at a siginficant loss.

I don't even know how you even got to deposit your BitClave. I think it has been several weeks that Bitclave deposits were halted. It couldn't be a techincal issue since it's an ERC-20 token, it must be some internal dispute between HitBTC and Bitclave team.

No I didn't deposit any Bitclave there. They had a dispute since the beginning because HitBTC listed Bitclave futures, which represent promises on tokens if you buy them on their exchange. And that happened way before Bitclave launched officially.

Cryply web wallet:
http://cryply-wallet.ml/

On the web purse I do not advise you to keep large amounts (> 100 CRP), output them to a core wallet or exchange. Web purse in conjunction with a faucet allows a newbie to quickly learn and not wait until the core wallet is synchronized.

i think only fools newcommers safe tockens in no complete control. there are not enough normal exchanges and volumes any purchase or sale moves the rate by many percent. if we talk about the potential then everything looks very interesting.

To install a full wallet - you need a lot of time.
With a web purse - it's easy to start using Cryply.
Understand how the process of the mining process takes place.

For each life situation - a different type of wallet. For long - term storage-cold. For mining and quick exchange or trade-hot. All ingenious is simple)

Yes Yes!

I'll write an instruction on how to install a full wallet and make a link to the web wallet.

You should do that as soon as possible as that is good for all the people who'd like to participate but don't know how.

Here’s Why You Should Start Your Own Business in Singapore
https://medium.com/@policypalnet/heres-why-you-should-start-your-own-business-in-singapore-bbcff292b78b
For ourselves, PolicyPal was founded on local shores initially as PolicyPal Singapore (PPS), a registered direct insurance broker that is regulated under the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Insurance Act.

A year later, its affiliate entity, PolicyPal Network (PPN), was set up to focus on building a decentralised insurance protocol to increase accessibility to insurance for those in emerging markets. PPN is not an insurance broker and therefore not required to be regulated by MAS.

Have all the legal challenges been sorted out or are there still things that you need to work out before getting fully started?

How come you decided to develop your own on wallet? Wouldn't it be easier that we use existing wallets? What are the benefits of having your wallet?

I think that all serious projects should have their own wallets, sooner or later.

Well...depends...there is no rail for that except in case you have a project like Timechain which strives to have all in one.

If all serious projects have their own wallets, this means that you would have a lot of wallets to choose from, maybe even too many - could be confusing.

I am not sure but there are or there will be multi-wallets where you can manage pretty much all coins at the same time. That's definitely what is needed to make crypto easier to handle.

Will it possible to use Exereum for creating DAPPS?

If you look over the roadmap of this project than it is not possible at this stage. This will happen by end of this year stay tuned to this topic for more updates.

they look like they will always update information about this project, on the road map it looks still incomplete, they will continue to update the road map, I will continue to visit their website to find out the progress of this project

Rather have them update their coding work than their roadmap. The roadmap is irrelevant. What counts is what gets delivered.

Congrats on that price increase Smiley
D'you guys think that will help to get more eyes on Lightpaycoin? Are there are new people interested in the coin already? What do you think?

Yes the number of investors and values are increasing gradually, people are turning to LPC, seeking to acquire LPC as the investment base and the price increase is proof of this. I believe that soon with cryptopia the prices tend to double for the simple fact of being a famous exchange and with great monetary volume.

Famous doesn't really apply to Cryptopia, but they are alright. You can use them without having to be afraid that your funds will be stolen.

It will be nice really to see LPC on Cryptopia. I am positive all investors await the news..

The volume is at least so high there that it makes sense to open up an account there and start trading.
