81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOSTime EOS Auctions on: January 31, 2019, 02:24:14 PM
Another dice-based game on EOS. EOS looks like a huge casino atm. What's your interest as founders and what exactly financial model do you use?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you run a signature campaign on an external platform? on: January 30, 2019, 02:41:22 PM
I don't like platforms like bountyhive or any others because I used to track any campaign statistics through good old spreadsheets. But if you will provide good service with convenient and full statistics - of course I'd like to try it.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More than 80% of ICO's launched in 2017/8 Were Scams, STO's are the next step. on: January 30, 2019, 02:14:53 PM
It's definitely not a final form. We can't even imagine what will be in 5-10 years, everything could be significantly changed in comparison with nowadays technologies we used to. STO is just the next step forward and I suppose there will be many more of them.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a year of profit making, but for investments on: January 29, 2019, 09:49:29 PM
I think 2019 will be much more appropriate for investments rather than 2018. It's pity, but the community isn't mature enough to understand the necessity and importance of a sowing period for the market. The truth is you will never get a really good gain without a thorough preparation of investment strategy and correct entry points.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: January 29, 2019, 09:35:31 PM
Cool work. Actually it's one of the best threads I've ever seen. I hope it's not a plagiarism. Take my merit and keep doing that well. I've never thought there are so many DEXes around, because I use a very few of them and only when I'm forced to do so.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to buy! on: January 29, 2019, 09:27:47 PM
Indeed, there is a very good price for coins, but still there is an opinion that the crypto market may once again go down. Now is the time when it is difficult to make a decision, as there is a chance to see prices even lower, but if you are going to invest in a long-term, then of course you can begin to do it now. Cryptocurrencies, as we can see, turned out to be a truly interactive asset, as it has been showing amazing growth for several years. I believe that cryptocurrency is a great opportunity to make money, but the main thing is not to forget that this asset is at the same time high risk.

I'm fully agree. I'd like to advice to buy any asset not at once. Just set up a few orders with some price range to buy some crypto and wait. Be patient, always keep some amount of USD and you'll be in win-win situation.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Tether? on: January 28, 2019, 11:28:58 AM
I don't believe it and thanks God now we have many alternatives. So now I diversified to almost every famous stablecoin - USDC, GUSD, TUSD, PAX and USDT too...
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE END OF ETHEREUM or ? Which will be much better: Waves or TRON or METAHASH on: January 28, 2019, 11:26:52 AM
There are too many big worldwide companies behind ethereum, so I guess they won't let ETH down. Waves is not bad platform from technical standpoint, TRON doesn't know what it want to do - only marketing matters. METAHASH is unknown for me, can't say anything about it. Still there are Cardano, Zilliqa, NEO, EOS an others, but I refuse to believe that ethereum foundation won't handle the pressure.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: January 28, 2019, 11:01:56 AM
Many says that 2019 will be a year of sideways and I agree. I like mathematical models and believe that the history repeats itself, so I expect the next BTC ATH around $75-80k closer to the end of 2021.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC? on: January 28, 2019, 10:57:46 AM
There is a very small chance. XRP is not transparent enough, but there is a very strong team behind it. Banksters are interested in ripple more and more with time. They won't dump tokens with any price action. The fundamentals only matters. That's why it drops not so low during this bear market.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO investment still worth it? on: January 27, 2019, 10:49:15 AM
I don't like ICOs by nature and I almost didn't take part in any, but now it's 100% obvious - ICOs are dead. At least now during the bear market. Who knows, maybe ICO will be back in form of STO, maybe not. The following years will show.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty hunter paid USDT? on: January 27, 2019, 10:44:20 AM
I really like the idea of having some real collateral in already existed assets to be able to start a bounty campaign like it's described here. I don't think the asset matters, the main thing it should be top asset with good volume.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans for this year on: January 27, 2019, 10:38:11 AM
My plan is to set up buy limit orders and wait. There is no sense to worry, because we cant influence the price action. Perhaps some of us can, but most likely it's the game of really big whales and I don't think they even have an account here at bitcointalk Cheesy
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS is next Ethereum on: January 27, 2019, 10:33:48 AM
EOS is still far away from ethereum. I wonder what will happen during the next bear cycle. I suppose everybody wonders Cool The only thing I know for sure that top-50 altcoins won't die, as many bitcoin maximallists so assured of. Hopefully they will show a great price action just like it was in 2017.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you already own some GRIN privacy coins? on: January 27, 2019, 10:28:48 AM
I don't think it's a good investment, because it doesn't have supply limit. It has made some Xs since the low, but it doesn't proof its price sustainability.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO investment still worth it? on: January 27, 2019, 10:21:14 AM
Save your money and nerves, folks. It's a bear cycle, it doesn't end up yet, but it definitely will. Don't invest in ICO now, it doesn't worth your efforts and money losses. Just wait 1-2 years until the next bull run. The market is not about luck, it's fully about patience and skills.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's worst nightmare on: January 27, 2019, 10:13:00 AM
I got in to the crypto during the previous global dump in 2014-2016. I learned a lot of technical and trading staff during the previous bear market. I was lucky so I was able to earn pretty much money. Current bear market is almost the same as it was back then. I have a holiday throughout the second half of 2018 because I can afford it thanks to crypto. Don't give up, learn everything you really need and you will become successful.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: January 27, 2019, 09:56:03 AM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?

In my opinion it's a good idea, but it can't be realized without some kind of law issued by the forum administration. I'm not sure, but you can try to offer and discuss this idea in the meta section to get to Theymos  and other admins.

P.S.
This scheme looks very similar to STO Wink
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NEO become strong? on: January 26, 2019, 07:53:39 PM
First of all it's centralized and it's the main reason to avoid it. The second thing is the network stuck from time to time. I faced this problem twice and I want to admit that it's not good feeling when your $20k was frozen for some time without any reason.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible? on: July 17, 2018, 07:20:52 PM
Of course it is. But we must be very patient and ready to wait for several months to see such a price. There are a lot of good news about the crypto and I think that they are the first signs that the market will begin to recover in a while.
