81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and Magnum Wallet! on: May 18, 2019, 05:44:12 PM
Bad news from Cryptopia. Seems it will be closed soon. And all BTX are trapped here.

Does anyone know's how many BTC are stuck with cryptopia liquidators? I don't see anyone posting BTX Cold storage of cryptopia and i don't see it belong to the list of hack coins.

I still have 50 BTX cryptopia and i intend to get it back in BTX value and not in FIAT or BTC. But i already lose hope in getting them back by now after the news broke out.

I also have small amount of my BTX at Cryptopia. But I think we will never see them again. In Cryptopia Liquidation announcement is said that the investigation will take months or more and final decision is unpredictable

New supermajor XT exchange with 4.5M $ trading volume on btx pairs will easily buy their coins.  Roll Eyes

How can they buy coins that do not belong to cryptopia? My BTX on cryptopia belong to me...I paid for them.

If they'll let you withdraw it.  Cool

It's just another confirmation that the best way to save your own money is to keep them at local wallet that you know private keys
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: May 15, 2019, 05:07:49 PM
Well, now I would like to start an experiment: What will be better from the current moment: buy a mining hardware or buy cryptocurrency.
In real I will not buy mining hardware because I already have it.
So I ask to estimate my mining farm in usd:
The config looks as follows:
GPUs: 8xGTX1070, Tri-slot Palit SJS
MoBo: Asus Prime z270a
CPU: Pentium G4400
RAM: 8Gb DDR4 Kingston
Hard Drive: SSD 120Gb Kingston
Case: myself-made 8GPU case
7 USB Risers, 18 fans 120mm Delta AFB1212ME
PSU: 1600W SuperFlower Leadex Gold

Lets imagine that I bought that hardware now at current corresponding prices.
The same amount of funds I will invest in altcoins
And after year of earlier or later it will be possible to estimate what the way is the best.
I think weekly or monthly reports will be enough

I would like to know your opinion)

I've estimated my config. It's very probable that now I can buy this config for about 2000 $ equivalent at my countryplace.
So the same amount I will invest to cryptocurrencies. But not now. I think current situation with Bitcoin price shows that the correction will occur soon. So before buying alts or BTC I will wait about 2 weeks till the price consolidation.
Also I will think about hardware price ammortization and other maintance costs of mining process and report system of my experiment.
If anyone has suggestions feel free to discuss them

Is it mean that SUQA will be transformed to SIN in just 10 days at all?
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and Magnum Wallet! on: May 11, 2019, 04:17:35 PM

Good sign. BitCore is technically not a fork... Then not a Bitcoin fork ^^

Unfortunately called hybrid fork, but just a meaningless word. BitCore is not a fork, that's all ^^

In real the most of cryptocoins are Bitcoin forks because they used original bitcoin core as their basis (Should not take into consideration ETH and ZEC forks). Just changed hashing algo, reward system and smth new feature.
The issue is that is there usability of the fork? Look at the LTC for example. LTC has no innovative features in comparision of BTC. But it has faster transactions, low fees, high volumes and liquidity and is traded at practically all exchanges where BTC is traded. So LTC is one of the best tool for transferring fund from one exchange to another.
If BTX can find it's niche then BTX will become success
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: May 11, 2019, 03:54:34 PM
Mining comes with alot of stress like cost of electricity, cost of mining equipment. The desired profit might not be much. I prefer ro safe myself the stress and just buy the tokens at a low price and hold till when price improves

I forgot to specify my electricity cost. It's relatively low about 0.05 USD per kWh

Don't forget that your hardware doesn't lose all of its value. You can still resell it on eBay etc. as long as it's still working.
Obviously it's easier to resell your used computer hardware than reselling an ASIC-miner.
For now I'd argue that the electricity-price matters the most regarding the profitability of mining.

Few month ago I sold several of my GPUs and other GPU-rig equipment. And it was harder than it looks. The price was enough lower than I expected.
Even when I sold unpacked unused PSUs and I had to reduce my offer more than 30% of market price to find a buyer.
So I think it's another myth that mining hardware has enough residual cost especially at downtrend and flat market.

As long as I live live I will not sell my Alts at a loss.
It is a shame that Bitches are selling: These bitches can’t see 2 years from NOW: Booming!
I primarily hold Cardano!

To allow the losses grow is bad strategy anyway. Before the buying of any assets you need to estimate both the profit and loss.

Hi, i have the old wallet with BTX and the new wallet with BTX...how do i get the old into the new without loosing the new? thxs

backup your wallet.dat
install new wallet
move back wallet.dat
start new wallet

I think @cd007766 keep in mind that @cd007766 has two different wallets with BTX in both.
So to put all BTX in the single wallet the following steps should make:
1. export private keys from the old wallet by using
Code:
dumpprivkey
command

2. import the keys to the new wallet
3. PROFIT !

Well done to the Team there at SUQA/SINOVATE

Its a 1st what you guys are doing and its gonna be huge, I'm sure.   Truly a neat innovation.
Fork mean new Algo too I think
- New Algo X25X
- Infinity Nodes
- Legal Paper
- New Exchanges every month

New exchange every month is very ambitious goal. Hope it will be truth
But I think it most depends on exchange's desigions not SIN team

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [New Token Ann] BitcoinCredit BTCC [Bitmxittzex Token] on: April 04, 2019, 12:38:14 PM
What will be the emission process of BTCC token?
Like other Bitmxittzex token BTCC also can not be mine, it is minted by BitmxittzEx, maximum supply will be capped by 210 000BTCC, initial circulating supply will be 50BTCC.
In future we may develop this token to new coin or add more features or add to other exchanges but for now it's usage is as 'Bitcoin Credit Note' at BitmxittzEx for convenience of BitmxittzEx users to Store/Withdraw their BTC hassle free with complete anonymity and security. It can also be used as off-chain BTC transaction. User can give/pay BTCC instead of BTC which end user can convert to BTC anytime.

BTC off-chain transaction in depth explanation.
For example if you have 1BTC on BitmxittzEx and you buy 1BTCC with it and withdraw to coupon and later on you can use for payment or send to other BitmxittzEx user, he/she can convert and withdraw as BTC anytime even without loging into account. So 1BTCC transaction between you and other BitmxittzEx user was in fact is a 1BTC transaction between you two which was off-chain, you can say 1BTCC transaction was 1BTC transaction because each BTCC will be backed by BTC in our cold storage so BTCC can be converted and withdraw to BTC address anytime on request.

So seems BTCC is BTC-stable token like USDT for USD. But that is the question: how will BitmxittzEx control exchange rate of BTCC/BTC? Buy\Sell walls at defined levels or smth else?

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in active projects on: March 26, 2019, 06:45:24 PM
I do not agree that you need to invest only in active projects. Sometimes it plays into our hands and active projects quickly close. Because it does not always work, sometimes not active projects find the strength in themselves and just explode.

It should to note that too few inactive projects that can growth in future.
But I surprisingly saw that Litecoin looks inactive at the starting chart)
I think LTC is one of the most usability coin
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: March 26, 2019, 06:34:10 PM
In my part, I would prefer to buy altcoin than mining.  Had tried mining, though it is somehow profitable, buying and trading altcoins do too plus less maintenance, room heat, and noise. It also saves us from the trouble of building or setting up rigs for mining.

Setting up and maintaining mining rigs is not fast and easy process. For maintaining you need special tools like air compressor to remove dust from radiators also you need respirator to protect your own respiratory system.
Most of beginners in mining don't think about it.

Mainnet is started. So what mining results are actual?
I've got about 480 Mh/s from GTX1070 and 640 Mh/s from GTX1080. Is it typical?
