81  Economy / Goods / Re: Handmade bitcoin merchandise....? on: October 01, 2015, 11:57:08 PM
Sounds good to me. What length would the necklace be and made from what materials?
82  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: After ASIC mfgs, comes the ASIC recyclers? on: October 01, 2015, 11:55:47 PM
You could repurpose them as heaters. I dont know what else you could use an asic for.
83  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest and simplest way to keep bitcoins? on: October 01, 2015, 11:53:56 PM
Paper wallet or a hardware wallet like a trezor or similar.
84  Economy / Goods / Re: Quick question before I go.... on: October 01, 2015, 11:47:53 PM
If I produced handmade one of a kind bitcoin related merchandise, such as bitcoin symbol necklaces and knitted sweaters with the bitcoin symbol embroided onto them, would any of you actually be interested in them?

You should make a sample of something easy for you but that can show off your talent.  It's hard to sell someone something without showing them a demo at least imho. I am currently in your same boat just a different niche and I feel I wont get much attention until people can see what I can offer them. Just my opinion take it with a grain of salt.

Like I said, it really isn't like I'm about to spend hours knitting a sweater, then spend another two hours ebroiding the bitcoin symbol on it.

I wanna know if people like the concept of it first. Not if they'd think I made the products well. In all honesty, that doesn't make any sense to me. I'm asking a question, but no one can answer it.

It's a yes or no question. Would that actually be interesting to any of you?
Me, yes but no more than 1 necklace honestly and it depends on price.
Name your ideal price, style, color and design.
What type of materials do you have access to? I would want a simple necklace for the misses. Color would be red. Also my budget is around $25 (not trying to insult you with my small budget) if this is feasable lmk

If paper money loses its value at least I can use it for firewood lol. I think there will always be some form of paper money, but I see crypto really taking over imho. Everything is going digital I could be wrong but I see it as inevitable in a good way.

No they cant its very funny. Paper money burns badly and too fast, so it doesnt even generate enough heat to go through winter on it.

In some places the fiat money is literally worth less than goat shit, because goat shit burns better than fiat:

I was making a joke lol. I honestly have never literally burned my money other than fireworks. Good to know though!

Of course I accept BTC  Grin and other cryptos as well. Yes payments would be made through escrow.  I know I have a low reputation here and need to build trust.  I am all for that.  If a buyer is local we can meet face to face. If escrow is used it would have to be a trusted known escrow and the buyer pays the fee.

That's some next level stuffs right there mate... seen many car builders but this is awesome  Grin I wish you the best of success here mate.
Thank you very much.  We will be at the Ft.Lauderdale boat show November 5th if anyone wants to see our build there. I am currently finishing up a new 21 foot Paramount with a new Mercury 250 pro XS. I will post some pictures here once the build is complete

92  Economy / Services / Fiberglass Pro Here on: October 01, 2015, 12:16:40 PM
I have been building boats all my life,  literally.  My family owns a small boat building/repairing business in sunny South Florida Homestead to be precise.  Our company name is Caribbean Craft Inc. we build SPEEDCRAFT(www.speedcraftboats.com) and PARAMOUNT(www.paramountboats.com) boats. If anyone here needs any custom fiberglass work done I am your man.  Maybe you need a custom box for immersion cooling or a nice hood for heat extraction... sky is the limit.  I also work with plexiglass and acrylics. Just throwing this out there for anyone needing or wanting my service. Also I can sell you a new or used boat (20 foot or smaller) for coin :-)
93  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Getting a S3 and need a power supply OR what to do... on: October 01, 2015, 02:56:39 AM
Server psu's are nice and inexpensive. Atx psu's are ready out the box. Depends on what you like but you can get a nice server psu for $30 or less that can power 2 S3's off ebay. I had my first S3 powered by a regular ATX psu and later on switched to using server psu's because I like making my own beefy wires :-)

it depends on server PSU but some are ready out of box to.  Like antminer PSU it is already connected and ready to go.

Others you can get a breakout board which makes it very very easy to connect PCIe cords.    So I would not make server PSU's sound much harder then ATX as long as you have the right supplies, or order right one.

I didn't intend to make it seem hard. Sorry if I can across as such. You are correct some do come out of the box ready.  While I do have some with breakout boards I also have some with wires soldered direct to them because I didn't want to wait for the board s. It's actually not difficult at all.

95  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining rigs rental is that profitable? on: October 01, 2015, 12:45:50 AM
I made a good steady payout renting my miners there vs trying to mine the most profitable coin all the time. I have found in my little experience that renting power usually doesn't make me profit. There are exceptions I'm sure but that's just my opinion.
96  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS Antminer C1 with 1000W evga psu on: September 30, 2015, 11:58:11 PM
Hello everyone I have an Antminer C1 with cooling kit I am looking to sell for BTC1. Buyer pays for shipping. Unit is in working order and the cooling kit works without issue. Escrow is fine so long as you pay the fee. If using escrow they must be a verified trusted escrow here. I run cryptolayaway.com and have miners for sale all the time.

Prices do not include shipping.
98  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Asic miner tube raffle on: September 29, 2015, 01:13:38 AM
0.52 BTC is the maximum within two weeks with free shipping. within the usa. The minimum is 0.44 btc but thats not with free shipping, that would have to be covered by the winner using their preffered shipping method. All the rules are on the page. The cheapest on fleabay is $180 ATM. There were a pair sold relatively cheap a couple days ago.
99  Economy / Games and rounds / Asic miner tube raffle on: September 28, 2015, 10:05:45 PM
I am hosting a raffle for an Asic miner tube. Each entry is only .02 btc and all funds are held in escrow until after the miner has been shipped.[Link][https://hashclub.org/topic/868/raffle-asic-miner-tube-840-ghs] I have had good success in the past with my raffles  and want to start again. I hope I am posting this in the correct section.  Mods please inform me if this is the wrong section.
