81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: July 01, 2018, 08:16:23 PM
Just look on internet , and social media what coins is dominating this year and past few monthd that will give you a big hint on what is the best coin. Also read some articles and news about cryptocurrency for guide . Look on charts on how many percent they increase and decrease or fall and rise in the past fee days , weeks and months. Everything needs to be studied and clarified first and you can't just find a good project instantly because you need to learn it on a deeper way.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: July 01, 2018, 08:11:32 PM
The current situation is very depressing for most investors as the first 3 months of 2018 have seen dramatic drops across the board. If you have any funds available then this is a great opportunity to buy or average down. Continue to be patient to get the best, for me this is a good start to start your investment in altcoins. Believe the market will surely rise even slowly in the next few months. I have been investing and trading stocks a few years ago and currently in crypto. The situation were the same, people panic causing the fall of prices. But in the end the market will recover. So just relax.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: June 30, 2018, 09:24:58 PM
Investing in ICO's is very much like investing into anything, research and doing your homework is what is needed.  Most of them just poor projects but there are really game changer ICO 's. Though it may sound not a 100% true, but most of the ICOs managed by reputable campaign managers are legit and become successful. Most of these campaign managers study first the project before accepting it. But again, this is not the proper way how to determine which one is a scam and not, but in some ways, it also matters. Try to ask in some forums so you will know more about that ICO. Visit their website in order to know information regarding the project. Then in the bounty thread, the bounty manager must be a high rank position and have at least Legendary rank and no negative trust. There are also some projects that look legit but after money grab, nothing big happens for a long time and team only give more and more promises. But do not let these negative sides get it on to you, because  with some of the projects you can make more money than a boring job with jsut a easy hand work.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 30, 2018, 09:16:52 PM
Participating in a bounty is just one way of investing, it's simply an investment of time and no money involved. Many members of crypto do bounty as the safest way to get a coin than invest it with paper money.  But since you receive bounty when supporting a project, it's not an investment. Investments are contributions that help the project develop, and these contributions are money. I think that in a some way it is involving with investing and somehow it does not either. Both way is true but it does not matter if it is investment or not. You are spending time and working but noone calls this a real job so is this making this bounty hunt thing not a job cause others not see that way? I think not.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: June 30, 2018, 09:12:12 PM
No one knows for sure. It could take 2 years or 3 years or the market could bounce back by the end of the year. Currently the market condition is very bad and I cannot see a solid market recovery in a short time period. I am holding my coin and token because I strongly believe that the near future is characterized by the use of blockchain technology. Theres no specific time but for sure it would come. For now we shouldn't stress out ourselves on waiting for that time to happen, just do regular routine as long we can able to make money on this very bearish market then it should be fine. I think the safest thing to do now is hold and wait and as the loss will become profit if the market recovers.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: June 30, 2018, 09:06:34 PM
I think that it would be most appropriate to provide in the forms we fill out the possibility of obtaining new tokens or ethereum of choice. Someone may be interested in tokens, and someone needs ETH. However, in fact, paying in ETH would cause considerable interest of bounty hunters to ICO projects. But also you are participating in an ICO's bounty so why should they pay you in ETH instead of their own tokens which you advertised? In this case, the ICO team will have to set the limit of the number of participants in the generosity campaign, since a hard limit will already be established in the ETH and an increase in the number of participants in the generosity campaign will sometimes result in overspending of the allocated funds. If you don't believe in the project you shouldn't join their bounty campaign. ETH payment likely to be a double edged sword.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: June 30, 2018, 09:01:53 PM
Before get in a bounty first do a own research about team and check telegram and roadmap whitepaper. You need to do a lot of research in how to pick good ICO's over these bunch of scam ICO's. Do your Own Research It is a must again and again. Do the same research as you would do for the investment, before you joint the bounty. It's like you're going to work for the company, you just make sure it's legit first. It is normal that you encounter fraud campaigns. We cannot 100% avoid that because there are some ICOs that looks promising yet it is a scam. Experience comes with time and work. You have to accept that this is like a raffle to join only reduce your own risk by doing quality research.

89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to understand ico? on: June 02, 2018, 11:11:33 PM
I would suggest you to go to ico rating sites like icodrops and to analyze rated projects that are there. Most of the predictions on icodrops are right. That helped me  a lot, and I hope it would help you too

That is ezactly why you lose as newcomers. Dude, be careful who you're trusting, after all, these websites get paid to get you listed higher. As long as you don't do your own research and make up your mind.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: June 02, 2018, 11:06:45 PM
Go for Ethereum. It is one of the best long-term investments in the market and it's sold at a ridiculously low price too! What are you waiting for, claim your seat before this train takes off!! Toot toot!!
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: June 02, 2018, 09:45:07 AM
Is this topic still active? God! People are stupid... Most of us, at least the ones who care about the money they make, read the whitepaper. If you don't you're bound to lose at some point.

Personally I do not read the whitepaper at the moment. I think it might be a bad habit but reading should be good.

But I do alot of research on the project which I am interested in. That is how I compensate for not reading the whitepaper

Great work buddy, keep it up. Don't go crying when you lose though, you knew this was coming.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All rating platforms are shit!? on: June 02, 2018, 09:42:40 AM
Yes they are! Thanks for finally understanding that. They are just like bounty hunters, you give them money and they advertise you as getting you listed higher.

Too much deception around, investor confidence starts to decline and the market reacts naturally! I think we need some mechanism to protect honest projects, some kind of association in which guarantees the reputation of the project, because all rating platforms are shit!

What do you think?
We needs an independent organization or association to conduct ratings on different projects not those that were paid for just to make some good ratings in a specific project even though it is a low profile project or just to make it looks good in the eye of the investors. It would be nice if we will not trust this kind of rating system that will just make some kind of deception and confusion to each and everyone of us.

What we need is exactly this. An independent organization that will get paid for doing honest research. Maybe some of you around here could pull it off as an ICO...  Grin

Funny isn't it, the only way to save ICO market is to start another project  Grin
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Market Reopening in South Korea on: May 17, 2018, 12:18:57 PM
That is awesome news! It should liven the market a little bit. The market is coming down again, I can't see a reason for this though, if I know anything about crypto, it will be much better by the end of the year. This news should be good for the market and when the new laws are applied it will be much, much better.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum a threat to bitcoin on: May 17, 2018, 12:14:18 PM
First of all, you can't tell a story about a field of economy by using NBA players, it doesn't work like that nor it is accurate.

On the other hand, if bitcoin were to be taken as an NBA player, it wouldn't be LeBron. LeBron can't even be compared to stras of the old. The real king of basket ball would be Jordan. Long retired but still more popular than the NBA itself. Many people around the world wouldn't have known anything about NBA but they've heard of Michael Jordan.

LeBron is just popularized by dim witted millenials.

Coming to your question: Likewise Jordan will always be Jordan, bitcoin will always be bitcoin. Gold will always be gold. The capitalization of bitcoin is so high that it can't be broken down by anything. It's the gold of internet. ETH is the fuel of internet and althugh we use & see fuel everyday, gold is still more valuable than it.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumbest thing you did in Crypto as a noob on: May 17, 2018, 12:04:11 PM
Well, it was years ago, bitcoin was just starting up. By "just starting up" I mean that it was gaining traction slowly... The value for it was around 200$ in deep-web black markets... Even today, when I remember, I regret my poor decision as I bought some drugs in deep web for 10btc... Which was worth not more than 2k at the time...
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: May 17, 2018, 11:59:50 AM
The summer is full of hopes and each day, tomorrows are carrying hope. Don't lose your optimism, the market is on itsway to recovery. 2 years seems like a pessimistic thought but by the end of the year, we all hope that it will be much better even than last year. But if not, 2 years seems like the probable outcome...
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto going strong! on: May 15, 2018, 10:10:33 AM
The greens will be on our plate for some time now. This have been expected a long time, we've all been waiting for this since the beginning of the new year and green days finally arrived. Don't be scared of the tiny downs of some days, it is all good, will be better tomorrow. Each day will bring us a better future and a better today.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: May 15, 2018, 10:05:15 AM
Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.
I was reading your bold sentence and it seems just another bullshit. Can you give me the more explanation about why was kickcity using the ico to raise the fund? I just know that you are trying to promoting your project rather than open a public discussion about the existence of ico in the future.

Exactly! This is shouting "I'm a promotion" doesn't seem like a trustable way to spread the word... Moreover, I think it's not the best way to promote and ICO by shit-talking about ICO's... The things you say first are pulling people away from ICO's and then you try to pull them to your promoted project but let me tell you a tiny little secret, they won't buy it Smiley
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: May 12, 2018, 07:10:49 AM
I don't think that any ICO Rating website is reliable. They are taking money from projects to get them listed. More you pay, better you get shown. It's all about the money you pay to them, if you have 5 ETH to spare, just write some shit about blockchain industry problems, offer some shit solutions to these problems, pay 5ETH to ICORating and boom, you're listed as a top coin.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 11, 2018, 02:01:25 AM
I usually try and wait a bit. For at least 2 weeks I wait to see if token will hold value in exchanges, if it does, I go on with hodling. If it doesn't hold up well, I cash out before losing. There are many shitcoins and most bounties are for shit coins... (Not this one though, this one's a good idea)
