I can't wait till it hit hits the Billion dollar cap. At that point I would recommend a bottle of Cristal and a seat belt.

Removed, I was half awake.

I am pissed that the chick would even have the nerve to try and sucker me for my money by throwing in the words that they "are planning on shipping at the end of the month"! I keep thinking about how when they still need some of your money they will insist that the product is coming sooner than when someone is asking about the product they've already paid for. Hence the December/January shipping date I got, vs the later date others have been given when they've already paid in full.

Joyous moments for some here, again, BFL ain't shipping a thing till somewhere in January, as it seems now.
Surprise?

As Debbie from BFL wrote in her last Mail:
We had originally hoped to be shipping by now, but unfortunately, we are still waiting for some parts to come in. We are working to start shipping orders before the end of the year.

You could anticipate your order shipping sometime in February or March. If they are ready sooner, we will ship them sooner.
We appreciate your patience as we are working to bring you the latest in mining technology.

Happy X-mas 😢

Certainly, the order number is not mentioned. But the January date does not sound incorrect at all.

Called it.

 Cool

We plan to begin shipping at the end of this month and in January. If we don't hear from you, we will assume that you want your original order to stand as originally submitted.

Thank you,
Debbie

I received this email earlier yesterday regarding an upgrade to a Little Single I haven't paid for yet. The reason why I haven't done it yet is because I'm so freaking confused from all of their dates they keep releasing about when they will actually ship. I think someone is full of shit if you ask me. Just sayin

Just like my grandmother used to say; "What you lack in elegance, make up with some f---ing scotch."

What's hilarious is his order #!!! Imagine BFL making it to that number before March  Cheesy
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should BFL get a scammer tag? on: December 05, 2012, 10:39:37 PM
December is a bust, and probably January as well. Although I'm wondering what they will release that will keep people from pulling massive amounts of refunds. I bet they release some form of evidence of a working prototype around Christmas, a video most likely.
89  Economy / Goods / Re: 2 x Professionally Made Double Headed Quarters: .325 BTC Shipped on: December 05, 2012, 09:59:10 AM
What do you mean by "professionally made"?
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: When in 2013 shall Bitcoin break its all-time-high of $31? on: December 05, 2012, 09:49:51 AM
I bet we see slightly more stable price action as more money enters the arena and the pump and dump becomes more capitally demanding.

My guess is we see a climb to $15 before the end of 2012, a correction to the $12's and maybe rise to a solid $16-$20 base by the end of 2013.

I hope you guys with the $20 guesses are correct.

Ouch! That must sting. Never cool when your girlfriend catches you playin' with your pecker, unless she's nice and offers to give you a hand. Take the deal  Grin
95  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bad news for bASIC - not shipping til mid Jan at best on: December 04, 2012, 06:05:15 AM

96  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC Certification Requirements? on: December 04, 2012, 06:01:43 AM
Seriously, you think we care about FCC certification?  Ask anyone with ASIC on order if they'd rather wait an extra 2 weeks to receive an "approved" item; whaddya think they'll say?  "Ooo I'll get hiss whenever I move my radio within 3 feet of it. Who cares. Just gimme my magic money box, NOW!"

I'm right there along with ya'. Screw a certification. Better yet, send them all to me and I'll certify 'em for free  Wink

98  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank Agrees to Reimburse Hacking Victim $300K in Precedent-Setting Case on: December 02, 2012, 09:06:58 PM
Why would we even put our money in the bank if it wasn't secure. Might as well put it in our closet beside the 12 gauge. See if someone wants to play with our money then.
99  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank Agrees to Reimburse Hacking Victim $300K in Precedent-Setting Case on: December 01, 2012, 11:48:23 PM
Isn't the reason we put money in the bank is for the safety and security of our funds?
100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just what is a clock buffer anyway? on: December 01, 2012, 11:14:19 PM
I wasn't around when BFL first started advertising their FPGA single, so I've got a question that I'm sure someone in here knows the answer to.

How long did it take for the first Singles to ever start arriving to customers after their initial release date was supposed to happen? 3 months? 6 months?
