Wait, are there people mad now that they have found out if they buy an ASIC from BFL the product will be covered for life? I'm asking this question before I jump to conclusions. Oh btw Visiontek also has lifetime warranties... although I have never owned a product from that company. XFX is the shit! Just sayin'
262  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Playstation 3, never used! on: October 05, 2012, 10:09:04 PM

Sorry it took me so long to post a pic. The package came with everything he had in the original picture. I could tell everything was brand new and there wasn't even a fingerprint on the PS3 itself. I guess I got really lucky because it ended up having a 320 gig hard drive in it. Thanks again Misterbigg!!!

It's all about the hype. You can't spend it all at once. You have to give in doses to keep people medicated.

The title says it all. Our favorite magazine talks about it here

I don't know if this has already been posted in here in the forums but apparently BFL is planning on upping the ante to lifetime warranty on their products. Here it is...

I guess we better acquire and hang on to as much as we can before it becomes popular. If it does not succeed...we just lose some money we were gonna lose already apparently.

How much for the PSU on switch? Sorry if you had already posted it, I couldn't find a definite price for it anywhere. Thanks
269  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL's new "highspeed manufacturing" capability? on: October 03, 2012, 03:36:54 AM
I agree with you about having to spend more and more money just to keep up. Right now someone can spend just over $1000 and possibly get some pretty good returns in the end(depending on where you are in line). With this difficulty increase we have coming, I don't see $1000 worth of mining equipment being enough in a year or two. Interesting indeed

Wait...I just checked the website and you added another ASIC option AND increased the original hash rate by 14GZ?  Did I miss this announcement somewhere?

Well I don't know about 14 GH/s but he did DOUBLE the initial $1100 orders. You can also buy the previously advertised 27 GH/s model for about $600 now. So if you ordered in the beginning you will now be receiving a unit twice as fast as he first anticipated.

Generally how much is shipping cost if it's inside the U.S.? I'm interested in the Power Usage Meter.

Tell me about it Graet. I am so happy I did not fully commit to the BFL hype. I got something small so I would know for sure when to start expecting drastic changes in difficulty.

Email is a good example as well. Hell when I first heard about email I thought I would never really have to use it. Now I couldn't imagine what my life would be without it. We aren't even at the stage where everyone is hearing about it and asking about it yet. To be honest I have only mentioned it to a few close relatives and friends and it seems like nobody ever takes it serious like I do so I just don't even talk about to anyone unless it's on this forum. I feel like it is inevitable that it will become popular is some form or fashion and I'm just going to be ready when it happens. Like a few of you already stated, when people who shouldn't know shit about bitcoin start mentioning it in conversation...look out here she comes!
275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 02, 2012, 12:17:02 AM
Also, do you realize how much faster you would get your product from Tom?
You would get it faster? We dont know about that yet....
The ASIC world aint established fully. We dont know when BFL, BTCFPGA, or any other company is REALLY shipping.
Or are you implying once regular production begins, the preorders will be filled much faster than BFL would be...meaning normal orders would be shipped much sooner than BFL's normal orders?
That would for sure be interesting.

Ok, I will not say for sure. But if I was to make an educated guess about ordering from either company today I would still lean the same direction.
I also ordered from BFL within an hour or so of the announcement and I'm beginning to think that I won't receive that order before my bASIC order. Just sayin'

Tom said he will know more pretty soon. He doesn't like giving details that he isn't completely sure about.

At this point I wouldn't pre-order BFL if I were you. Oh btw, did you notice you misspelled it in the title?
