81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Airdrops and Bounties worth the work? on: June 10, 2021, 05:35:33 AM
Bounty and airdrop are work first, receive money later.
For me, enjoyment is in many stages, it is in how I complete my work, after receiving the money. It's like a conquest.
The bonus is also very important, I think it depends on the vision of the projects you choose. I have criteria such as the quality of the project, the general bonus for the program. In addition, the element of luck is also very important because projects are running a bounty program before the ICO, so if suddenly listed on major exchanges, the reward can increase in value.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is our last hope for financial independence - John McAfee on: June 10, 2021, 05:22:25 AM
"Financial independence is the status of having enough income to pay one's living expenses for the rest of one's life without having to be employed or dependent on others. Income earned without having to work a job is commonly referred to as passive income."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Financial_independence

According to the above definition, I see financial independence as passive income. And McAfee saying that cryptocurrency is the only path to financial independence is not entirely correct. We have many avenues to financial independence such as restaurant business, real estate investment, stock ownership, bank deposit...
So we have many ways to be financially independent, not just in the field of cryptocurrencies.
Cryptocurrency can bring quick wealth, but this market also brings many risks for investors.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Ruffer scores $750 Million profit from Bitcoin on: June 10, 2021, 05:16:39 AM
Posted in February, at that time the cryptocurrency market was growing rapidly. By May, the market spiked again and almost broke the all-time high that February had produced. It can be said that the above company has a good strategy, very good profit and quick exit. If they were more greedy and waited until May and closed on the first days of the month, the profits could be many times bigger.
We don't know how far the crypto market will grow but being profitable and taking profits is essential for a professional hedge fund.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANNONIMOUS HACKER TARGET ELON MUSK ABOUT HIS TWEET on: June 09, 2021, 04:58:19 PM
Anonymous's statement is papering a cryptocurrency movement and it is currently having a good effect like:
El Salvador was the first country to officially accept Bitcoin.
Many Twitter influencers are actively advocating for Bitcoin and crypto.
Currently, Bitcoin has quickly rebounded to $36,000 after falling to $30,000 yesterday.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent residence in El Salvador for crypto entrepreneurs on: June 09, 2021, 04:54:02 PM
I don't know if Bitcoin payments are in vogue here as transaction costs are quite high and it is not suitable for regular use. Admittedly, this country has a good promotion to crypto lovers. They will likely attract more tourists in the coming years.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was invited by a group of young students from India to educate them about BTC on: June 09, 2021, 04:42:50 PM
Education about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is essential because society is full of scam projects, organizations and misconceptions about Bitcoin. Need to make people understand and spread them to the community.

Talking about Bitcoin also means that they intend to invest. I am happy that today's young people are interested in getting rich and investing. In the country where I live, young people are still uncertain about what jobs they will do after graduation, so the unemployment rate after graduating from university is quite high. It took several years for these people to get steady jobs.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the older Meme coins a good investment? on: June 09, 2021, 04:37:41 PM
The memecoin market is diverse and most of them are just junk. I remember investing 0.5 BTC for TROLLCOIN in 2017 after it hit 100sts. I was expecting a similar jump XVG, RDD and I lost most of my money.
It is best to spend your money on a decent project that has fresh technology, applicability and a serious development team. Investing in memecoins is like gambling and often we lose all our money.

89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show me your biggest gains! on: June 04, 2021, 03:31:47 AM
The stories related to cryptocurrencies are endless. Using the history of the market I will list some currencies that have x more than 100 times as ADA, WAVES, LEND(AAVE), DOGE, GRT and many more.
In 2017 TRON x1000 times in about 2 months.
Most recently we saw SAFEMOON increase their prices thousands of times and make many investors into millions in two months.
Or you just need to hold Bitcoin from before 2021, you will have a pretty good profit. We have plenty of opportunities to get rich in the crypto market, but we recognize that finding the right crypto to hold is equally important.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with Binance and KNC KyberNetwork $5.95 USDT on: June 03, 2021, 05:12:48 AM
I was able to sell some KNC I had bought in USD weeks ago for $1.40 or so and sell in USDT today for $5.95

USDT had not been available for whatever reason

KNC is only around $2.6 today. Perhaps you have mistaken for a certain crypto. Bitcoin is bullish and the market will quickly recover and reach new ATH so hold your altcoins firmly.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal cryptocurrency trading volume beyond expectations on: June 03, 2021, 05:05:30 AM
The trading volume on Paypal is pretty good and it's a really good place to support crypto. The demand for cryptocurrency is increasing so people will use Paypal to exchange crypto more. In this case, both Paypal and the crypto market benefit. People have difficulty in using a credit card, bank to buy cryptocurrency so Paypal is a better and more frequent choice.
I believe that in the future the cryptocurrency market will be welcomed around the world through financial companies, technology companies.
It's good until your funds got locked out for no reason which is already happening for some users in PayPal so I don't think that it's best if we aren't fully happy with these news, I will still be cautious in using PayPal because not your key, not your coins right?

It's like sending money to Binance for trading, your keys and crypto belong to Binance.
Just like Binance, Paypal has allowed people to withdraw money to their wallets. You think Paypal will take your money right? They won't do it because they have a reputation and a company value of hundreds of billions of dollars.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whales selling and retail buying on: June 02, 2021, 01:46:24 AM
The accumulation of elephants will continue to happen so they will have to buyback. Small individual purchases will make the Bitcoin network more decentralized.
It is decentralization that is the main factor leading to the growth of the market, so we do not need to worry too much. In the big picture, the amount of Bitcoin being withdrawn from the market is still increasing.

94  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is here to stay, do not panic on: June 01, 2021, 05:02:39 AM
It is best to be brave, it is better to wait than to lose money. Many people have chosen to be traders instead of holders so they suffer losses. Many of them want to get rich quickly by borrowing money and participating in crypto games. People are greedy and ignorant and end up empty-handed. I think the high-ranking members of this forum have been through bear markets many times so they understand the market. Panic doesn't help much so hold and buy at the bottom.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is the process of listing Cryptocurrencies simple? on: June 01, 2021, 04:40:34 AM
Listing is very simple because exchanges are just brokers, they work for money so they will list high-volume cryptocurrencies (even obscure projects). Large, reputable exchanges will have more complicated processes. I found Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken to be the top exchanges in the US and they have very strict regulations and only really quality projects are listed.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe in digital money? Well... on: June 01, 2021, 04:33:41 AM
Society is more developed and everything is optimized. The trend of not using cash has become hot in many countries. I see digital transformation faster in Asian countries than in Europe and America. China has been using QR codes to transfer money since more than 5 years ago. The countries around them are more active in going cashless.
The pandemic is happening all over the world so the cashless trend is stronger.
For Bitcoin, it is a new, special kind of technology and only part of the population knows about it. I believe that decentralization, scarcity will make Bitcoin even more valuable.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: May 31, 2021, 04:39:20 PM
Cryptocurrencies have been a hot topic for the past several months as adoption by tech companies around the world is increasing. Businesses in other industries have also invested in Bitcoin.
Visa accepted crypto as what they were interested in. I don't think there's any reason why they wouldn't accept cryptocurrencies because people's demand is growing. Visa will have an advantage as a store or provider of cryptocurrency.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one wants to talk about ATL on: May 31, 2021, 04:32:39 PM
Most people talk about the rise and fall of altcoins, few talk about the technological value it brings in this forum. Technology-related topics among altcoins are rare and rarely discussed. Probably most of us here are traders.
The recent bear market has caused many people to lose money so the discussion of altcoins has been reduced. If the bull market returns quickly, many people will certainly return to altcoin topics.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which best Altcoins to buy & HODL for some months on: May 31, 2021, 04:26:12 PM
Keep some Cardano and Polygon(MATIC) on hand because this coming August both projects will have good news.
Cardano launches its smart contract, this event promises to be a new ground for DEFI projects to develop. If we look at FTM, BSC we can see that DEFI's power is extremely large.
Polygon is expected to choose the technology to develop Ethereum projects. This means that as Polygon is part of Ethereum, demand for Polygon will increase.
In addition to the above two cryptocurrencies, holding Bitcoin and ETH is also important because the drop may have ended, the sharks have been actively buying. We just have to wait for the market boom once again to take place in the next few months.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop the FUD! Enough is enough! on: May 30, 2021, 01:42:42 PM
The US is about to launch $6 trillion to spend in the US and the number of Bitcoins on exchanges are good signs for the crypto market to move forward.  The market is only in the accumulation phase so calm down.  I've been through a long-term bear market and I'm aware the growth in this one hasn't ended so soon. If there's any FUD I'll be thankful I'll keep buying.
