81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BOYCOTT all businesses associated to Alex Waters, Matt Mellon, and Yifu Guo! on: November 13, 2013, 11:52:39 PM
Replicated here for discussion:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2013/11/13/sanitizing-bitcoin-coin-validation/

This service is extremely dangerous as it undermines one of the key characteristics of Bitcoin as a MONEY: their complete fungibility. Further, since all Bitcoin transactions are public and pseudonymity given by opaque addresses is our ONLY financial privacy protection, services like this should be considered a direct and malicious attack on Bitcoin system.

I suppose the CORRECT response of the community should be to BOYCOTT any business that even remotely associates itself with this evil spynet.

Did they lost their minds? They want to steal from legally obtained btc? Crazy, dangerous people.
82  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stop loss orders possible at Bitstamp? on: November 10, 2013, 10:51:26 PM
Stop Loss

If the current rate is lower than 300 USD per 1BTC:
execute:
sell ALL BITCOINS at 290USD

So When the price collapse I don't loose money

the same is possilbe with USD:
if USD collapse I may buy more BTC Smiley

87  Local / Polski / Chiński gigant – internetowa wyszukiwarka Baidu akceptuje Bitcoin on: October 20, 2013, 09:10:31 PM

88  Local / Polski / Dobrze, to ile osób korzysta z Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2013, 09:10:05 PM
http://satoshi.pl/2013/10/13/dobrze-to-ile-osob-korzysta-z-bitcoin/

Trudno jednoznacznie odpowiedzieć na powyższe pytanie. Spora część użytkowników BTC ceni sobie anonimowość i nie pobiera klienta Bitcoin bezpośrednio, lecz przez usługę typu VPN – zapewniającą pewną dozę prywatności w sieci.

Spróbujmy jednak oszacować – ile osób w Polsce i wybranych krajach świata używa Bitcoinów?
89  Local / Polski / Re: Bitcoiny w firmie.

@MorXpe
Dziwne rzeczy piszesz.

I would encourage those who are attacking Burnside with anger to turn their attention to the "regulators" that are apparently threatening to bring force into a situation that is peaceful and consensual. It's hard to do this because we don't know exactly who they are. We do know that they feel they can't compete in a free market unlike Burnside who eagerly endeavored to do so. They feel they must threaten force to maintain their position instead of enticing people to cooperate as Burnside has. For this reason I wish the best for Burnside and the worst for the aggressors.

We should take our emotions regarding this failure and channel them into a sustained effort to architect a better securities exchange system. Bitcoin has worked so well because the architecture was decentralized and Satoshi was anonymous. We need apply these principles to the development of a more resilient securities market.
