81  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to be a video game streamer on the kik.com gambling stream crypto site. on: April 25, 2024, 12:04:53 AM
I think it's Kick.com OP, not Kik.com.

Well, I'm not yet familiar with that platform, that's the first time I've heard of it. So if you want to become a video game streamer on a gambling stream crypto site and you'll just play Roblox, I think they won't align because what you're playing has nothing to do with their platform related to gambling and crypto.

Roblox specifically has a young audience, so it's important to be aware that some content, especially gambling, might not be appropriate.

Have you ever tried looking at Twitch and YouTube, which are larger platforms for game streaming with a huge audience?

83  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Car dealer na tumatanggap ng Bitcoin on: April 24, 2024, 10:29:21 AM

84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they on: April 23, 2024, 10:32:03 PM
I think the biggest mistake made by beginners in online gambling is playing without understanding the games and the rules themselves. Jumping into games without fully understanding the rules can lead to unnecessary losses. They don’t take the time to learn and understand the ins and outs of each game that they are interested in before placing bets. Instead of learning the rules and odds they jump in with real money immediately. Many online casinos offer free play modes so you can practice before you wager.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the number of new investors reduce? on: April 22, 2024, 09:58:50 PM
I also used to be a newbie, but I didn't jump into Bitcoin because of the halving event. These kinds of investors who disappear quickly after the hype of halving are just looking to capitalize on potential short-term gains. Nonetheless, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have steadily gained mainstream acceptance over the years. Some investors have different backgrounds and investment goals, not just because of halving. So even though the hype surrounding halving may fade, overall interest will continue to grow as they become integrated into traditional financial systems.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streaming community are getting worst!!! on: April 22, 2024, 08:50:50 AM
Here's what's happening even on the social platform of Meta, which is Facebook, where we know even young ones have access. It's disappointing that you've followed a streamer because you enjoy watching their gaming content and because it's also your hobby, but now they've shifted to promoting gambling platforms. It's also possible that they're using sponsored accounts, so what viewers see on their stream is large amounts being placed as bets for a big win. In that way, they could encourage viewers to gamble as well for the potential of a big win.
88  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be confused, bitcoin halving doesn't translate into bitcoin All time high on: April 22, 2024, 07:33:59 AM
Past Bitcoin halving events have indeed been associated with price increases, but they should also know that this doesn't happen immediately because there's a process to go through, such as adjustment, and of course, it's not a guaranteed outcome. The relationship between halving and price is complex and influenced by various factors beyond just the reduction in block rewards. Because if these newcomers expect an automatic price surge right away, it will only lead to disappointment if it's not met. If they have a short-term perspective, they should study trading if they want to do it daily. But if they're focusing on investment, they should go for the long-term.
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hit the MAX WIN on Zeus vs Hades—$240K payout in crypto! 🚀🚀🚀 on: April 22, 2024, 05:52:47 AM
Congratulations on your massive win! It must have been an incredible feeling, an unforgettable moment for sure. This win is indeed life-changing, showcasing the potential of cryptocurrencies and online gaming.

Since they've already begun paying out smaller amounts, it's a positive sign that they're working through the process.

I hope everything works out smoothly for you, and that this win brings you the happiness and security you've been dreaming of. Stay positive, stay patient, and keep us updated on your journey!

Pero thanks pa rin sa pag share nito, malay natin meron pang magbago in the future in terms of regulation and licensing ng Binance dito Pinas.
91  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found the meme coins SEC they review projects before it will get posted on: April 18, 2024, 10:25:59 AM
True decentralization is a big part of the crypto world, a government-backed system could go against that principle.

The focus should be on clear project roadmaps and strong communities to build trust, rather than relying on a central approval body.

It could bring stability but might also stifle innovation.
92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Minimum requirements to send a bitcoin signed message? on: April 18, 2024, 09:44:12 AM
You don’t necessarily need to have sats to send a Bitcoin-signed message. The process of signing a message is done locally on your device and doesn’t require a transaction on the Bitcoin network, so no fees are involved.

You need to have access to your wallet device or laptop and a password that decrypts the wallet and lets you use it. The process of signing a message is a way to prove that you own a particular Bitcoin address without needing to make a transaction, and it doesn’t require both parties to use the same version of the software.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THERE ARE TWO THINGS INVOLVED on: April 18, 2024, 06:22:53 AM
This is a reminder of the risks involved in chasing losses which is dangerous at the gambling table. And the importance of responsible gambling and knowing when to walk away.

It's easy to get caught up in the moment and think that the next bet will be the one to turn things around. But it's a slippery slope that can lead to bigger losses.

There’s a series of choices, each decision is a chance to walk away or keep gambling. We need to be mindful of those choices, especially when emotions are running high.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: The collapse of central banks...Inevitable? on: April 18, 2024, 05:52:58 AM
I think that's unlikely for a complete collapse. Central banks have a lot of tools at their disposal, and they'll likely adapt their strategies. We might see some reforms or even new institutions emerge. It plays a big role in financial stability too. Just scrapping them entirely could cause even bigger problems.

If things get really bad, though, who knows? Fiat currency losing trust entirely is a possibility. But is Bitcoin becoming the world's currency? I'm not so sure. It's still volatile and not widely accepted for everyday transactions. There might be other contenders, or maybe a whole new system altogether.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW and PoS on: April 18, 2024, 05:07:06 AM
Both PoW and PoS have their merits and drawbacks. Choosing the right consensus mechanism depends on the specific goals and priorities of the blockchain project. The future might hold hybrid models that combine the strengths of both approaches.

PoS supporters argue that PoS has some benefits over PoW, especially regarding scalability and transaction speed. However, many PoW supporters argue that PoS, as a newer technology, has yet to prove its potential in terms of network security.
96  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 18, 2024, 02:19:19 AM
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would You Recommend Investing Binance Pays 9.70% Interest on USDC on: April 17, 2024, 02:08:37 PM
I would recommend thoroughly researching Binance's offerings, security measures, and reputation before proceeding, but of course, the decision is yours to make. Binance is a reputable exchange, but due to the ongoing issue, its current status may be affected or changed. You may only be doing it because of the higher rate, but you should know there's always a risk, and because you've experienced being scammed, security should be your top priority.

Regarding your situation with Atomic Wallet, it sounds like you were the victim of a social engineering scam impersonating Atomic Wallet support. You should never share your seed phrase with anyone, not even wallet support.
98  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Play-to-Airdrop (Worth it kaya?) on: April 17, 2024, 08:36:28 AM

99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crafting a safer strategy for growing your crypto portfolio: on: April 17, 2024, 08:09:23 AM
I used to get caught up in the hype of quick gains too, but seeing the recent market crash highlighted the importance of patience and strategic investing.

The idea of launchpools and launchpads is interesting! I haven't personally explored them yet, but what you said about the exchange tokens surging before these events makes a lot of sense. Double rewards sound appealing.

Also, I'm curious if there are any potential downsides to these launchpool/launchpad products that we should be aware of?
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where would you prefer to watch your favorite team? on: April 16, 2024, 11:42:40 PM
Indeed with accessing other things such as food and drinks; that's the best part of watching at home. But if you're an extrovert then going out would be most likely to be chosen. This discussion just boils down to preference of the person who would watch the game itself, since things are simply subjective.
Yeah, it’s the convenience factor at home. There's nothing quite like whipping up your favorite snacks and settling in for a game in your comfy clothes. Plus, there's no beating the freedom to cheer or groan as loudly as you want without disturbing anyone!

However, there's also something to be said for the electric atmosphere of a sports bar. The shared energy of other fans, the big-screen experience, and the chance to meet fellow fanatics of your team can create a truly unique experience.

It depends on the mood and the game. Sometimes, a chill night at home is perfect, while other times, you might crave the excitement of a sports bar.
