So I've had this problem for several months, but I've given up on it for quite a while. Now that I see how much LTC is worth, I figure I ought to access my 200 LTC I mined many months ago.
But I've tried everything to solve this error I keep getting:

"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."

I've tried:
Reinstalling the 2010 64-bit C++ Libraries
Uninstalling and updating my Litecoin wallet client
Clean booting

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and so far nothing has worked. Is there anything left I could do?

Hello everyone. While I'm not new to bitcoin, I'm relatively new to the forums, so I'm aware that trust may not yet be fully established. However, I feel I should start somewhere. I'm currently selling only a couple of items on Bitmit, however I'll be adding more things over the next few days. Mainly what I'll be offering is a bunch of older video games and the occasional book here and there. I'm willing to use escrow as well to solidify trust with any potential buyers.

I also wouldn't mind a few pointers and constructive criticism in case I'm missing anything important.

Well right now theres nothing really. Maybe check the Freicoin forums. But overall FRC seems like a really bad idea. Taking away value from people for hoarding doesn't sound like a good idea to me, hence why many havent bothered with it to begin with. Sounds a lot like what a central issuer of fiat would do. And who knows if a practical use for FRC will ever come.

This feels like a nasty asset at this point, seeing as its literally impossible for me to sell it off..but I'm just curious, what would happen in the event of liquidation? Do I get any of my principle back?

What the hell is this??? xD They wanna take over the world or something? With what? How? Their video hardly explains anything! Their website hardly explains anything! What is their goal? If i were to throw away money towards this would I find out? They mentioned currency..do they wanna make one global fiat currency? So many questions left unanswered! Grr! DX This is funny yet strange at the same time...really.

That'd be a pretty bad idea..a new one every week would not only flood the market for crypto-currencies , but itd lead to alot of them being weeded out anyway. If the market is content with alt coins like NVC, LTC, PPC, and TRC, but not FRC, then so be it. That and, there wouldnt be much value to these alt coins if there were SO many of them. Though i have to admit, I am excited to see if a new, promising alt coin pops up, being that I came so late in the crypto-currency game.

Lethn makes some good suggestions, and I'd like to add Bitfunder. When GLBSE was taken down, bitfunder made it possible to redeem GLBSE assets, and (I might be wrong on this), but a couple GLBSE assets are now on bitfunder. From my experience with it, its a pretty good service, and the assets so far are very reliable.
