I have set mine at 815 per note from Chloe. However, im seeing some of the blades dropping off the miner a couple of times per day. Not sure if this is due to the 815 setting or some other issue. I may try and drop it to 800 as some other users have recommended.
I never got any feedback on the so-called "Low Power" mode. Is this nothing more than reducing the voltage down further than 800? Do you also have to adjust downward from the "1200" setting as well? What are some reasonable values to try? I ask because for 3-hours a day I have a time-of-use plan where the rate is significantly higher, and I would like to go into the "Low Power" mode during those 3 hours. Im hoping to get the root login so I can script something to run automatically on the miner itself to change the settings.
It's not just you, I had a blade drop off my miner this morning. The only thing I can think is that I quickly stopped and then started it back up while switching a setting this morning that may have contributed to it. I'm currently running mine with 800mv @ 1000mhz. What pool are you mining in? I know Prohashing has major problems with cards dropping off.. I had to swicth to litcoinpool.org and have had no problems yet.. My settings are 1200Mhz and 800mv. I believe these are the stock setting.

Yes, I got it working. I used 815mv per Chloe. I would like to ssh into the box and modify the php or whatever code they have to fix a few issues: 1) All the pools are called "POOL 1#" 2) Clean up some of the English so id doesn't rub me the wrong way. 3) Pre-code the 815mv setting so I don't have to enter it every time it boots. 4) Add a "switch pool" button and possibly a pool #4.
However, don't know the ssh login. I had it on the A2, and was able to update the web page to include more pools, and change the switch logic to allow me to go between any pools I had defined easily. Would like to do similar mods to the A4 code.
I will have to try 815mv the highest I have tried is 810 but did not seem to make any diff with 800mv... I did notice the miner will pull more power from the wall set at 810mv I jumped from 1070 watts@800mv to 1090 watts 810mv at the wall. Yes this software is very buggy.. It would be great if someone with the skills could work with it.. Would it help if you just had the image of the software? If so let me know I have a back up of it The first time I loaded up the miner page tonight, the default value in the voltage box was 815mv so that's what I've been using. OMG this software sucks... The "default" setting for my speed though is 900mhz -- anyone else seeing this? Yep software is crap.. Mine did not have a value in the mv box and I could not figure out why the miner was not starting! Someome said the factory setting is 800mv. If you get a magnifier glass and look at instructions you can barley see it! The higher that voltage the more power you will pull from the wall.. We need someone to re-write the software. We need DHCP among other things.. Miner is unstable as hell Was your default speed 900mhz? Mine is hashing around 202-205mh with that setting... I see screenshots showing 1200mhz as the default I dont know why they say its Default 900 mine says that also. But you need to change it to 1200 and I use 800mv.

This is really disappointing to hear, tried messing with the settings on prohash to change the restart delays?
My A4 gets delivered today, hope I can make it work. [/quote]There is a forum over at prohash where they are working on getting it stable. Some settings suggestions. I just got another unit today also

Anyone have the ssh login for the pi? I would like to start patching the code asap.
I heard from gen tarkin that the code is not open source? Or does that not matter worth a damn if you are just improving and not making money on it? Always been confused on how that all hung together. later I dont know if this seller in China knows but he got back to me and said there is no password that all the information is on the SD card. He also said there will be updated software in the future but no time frame.

yes this software sucks... I will contact my seller who is in china long shot but maybe he can lead me to someone.. This software I think was not made by insilocin it was prob made by china. The miner does not run well at all on coin switching pools like prohash.. It is not submitting shares properly.. Anyone have any luck on optimum settings? And what pool are you using?

Does anyone know how to ssh into the pi? I dont know the root password... Im trying to track down why it cannot connect: Error getting device list: ERR: socket connect(0) failed
Are you entering a voltage? 800mv is what I use but miner will not start without a voltage setting and it does not save so it has to be entered on every re-start

Could someone answer some questions I have of this particular miner?
1. Is it possible to buy only one or two units, or must it be purchased at the minimum of 5 per order? 2. How loud is this thing? 3. Can anyone say how legitimate EastShore Mining Devices is? I saw the A4 and other miners on there but I know the ASIC market can be quite scam filled. [EastShore link][/https://www.eastshore.xyz/]
Thanks in advance
Yes its possible to buy one but not from the company. Have to go to re-seller The fans are very powerful so its kinda loud I have mine in the garage. You could not put this in your home its to loud unless you have big house Dont know anything about eastshore but I purchased mine from aliexpresss so I could use a credit card to cover myself if they did not deliver. Price on Aliexpress is 2600 including DHL fast shipping to the USA. From placing order to my door was 7 days

Just got mine hooked up but the ip address on miner 192.168.1.254 is the same as my router address.. Do I need to change the miner ip address? Update: I was able to change the ip address on the miner but it will not start to mine. Don't know why ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) If I leave it factory it locks up my whole internet..I show that my router has the same address When you change the IP of the miner to i.e. 192.168.1.253, make sure you set the default gateway in the miner to 192.168.1.254 and configure a working DNS server too. Got it going I did not have to do anything with the DNS just have to change ip address and gateway address

Are you serious?! Is this your first trading experience?! After a 600%+ rally in a few weeks time you're complaining that this coin is giving back?!
I read the Polo trollbox all day yesterday and I saw how literally EVERYONE jumped on the bandwagon out of fear of missing out, started making these outrageously stupid analysis and statements, and all of the sudden potcoin was bigger than bitcoin! L.O.L.
You want to know what happened? This is what happened. Major money moved-in towards the end of last week (I assume the anticipated investors, and I'm not talking your sorry $20-50 or $100K), and price started picking up. Maggots woke up seeing this thing was about to blow up, did zero research, got super greedy, and jumped on it. Obviously lost with that amazingly sophisticated trading style, panicked and started selling. Now these very same people come here crying and call this a scam?! Really? You did zero effort to understand what potcoin is about and wanted to make easy money riding the wave and now you're calling the dev team and everyone who has been involved with this project for months and years a scam?! Come on, at least be honest with yourself - why did you buy in the first place?! Nothing has happened yet!
As far as potwallet withdrawal requests go: this has been like that forever, its a security precaution - even two months ago and has nothing to do with the rally. I was withdrawing funds back in august and had the exact same error message. If you want to go around it, download the core/desktop wallet - it'll just take forever to sync.
I did use the potwallet yesterday and it was working. And then it just stopped all of a sudden. Now my coins are all stuck. My coins are stuck also and I have used the on line wallet several times no problem.. I did not jump on any band wagon.. Been slowly buying this coin.. Is it so much to ask to withdraw my coins?

In any case, there is nothing he do against Potcoin, but only for Potcoin. yes exactly prob all the mad people here are people who miss out POT ... damn haters Well now they wont let you withdraw coins from the online potwallet.. Looks like this was a big scam! I just get a error message..

Ok, so maybe we are talking about 2 units to make up the 273mh 1100w miner... That would make sense in light of the first picture showing 1 miner on top and 550w, and the 2 miners/cubes on bottom at 1045w. So possibly 2 cubes to make up the 4 blades we were quoted in the original description as it appears there are only 2 blades per cube. So that would make sense if that is the case.
No this would be a HUGE deal killer if you needed 2 units because the price quoted is for one unit

I hear this coin on all the videos says low fees or no fees. Yet I got charged .2 dash to withdraw from polinex. How is that low fees? New to Dash so this really surprised me.
The Network can't control what a private exchange charges you! And Poloniex fee to withdraw Dash is 0.05 not 0.2 ?? !? I went back and checked polinex my balance and then what I got when I withdrew I was wrong but it looks like the total fee was .11150676 Dash.. But inside my Jaxx wallet it says Mining fee .2 thats where I got .2 from was the Jaxx wallet mining fee UPDATE::Weird just looked again on polinex missed it before tells you the fee right there it says 0.06150676 DASH (0.25%) So now I am real confused

The Network can't control what a private exchange charges you! yep, there are exchange costs for withdrawing coins and there are seperate Dash fees for using InstantSend and PrivateSend. These Dash fees (IS & PS) will be much lower (10x lower) after update 12.1, which is currently being tested on Testnet. red : old values green : new values ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FYtcBCSo.png&t=663&c=QHa49_MJ6ZmvjA) Thanks I dont know much about what you showed there but glad the fees are being worked on. So this will be a manditory wallet update that brings down the fees? Any time frame? Thanks!

The Network can't control what a private exchange charges you! Ok I guess I understand that but what is the fee then if I send it to someone? Or maybe you could point me to a video that talks about fees. There promo vids really talk up low to no fee transactions

We should add ProHashing.com for script miners. This is the only pool that I know of that will pay out in ETC.. You will not support the blockchain but it helps support the price.
