Last month, Safe Cash Payment Technologies, Inc. announced that its blockchain can handle up to 25,000 transactions per second, or 3,000 times the number of transactions that bitcoin’s blockchain can handle. In other words, this payments technology company now has the world’s fastest blockchain. I had the pleasure to speak with Chris Kitze, founder and CEO of Safe Cash about their accomplishment. In the audio recording below, you can hear our discussion about Safe Cash’s transaction time and its mission to give people across the globe access to free and quick money transfer services. Below you can read the full transcription of our conversation. Carlo: I wanted to know if you could go into more detail about the transactions per second I mean 25,000 per second that’s pretty incredible. Safe Cash announces blockchain can handle 25,000 transactions per second Safe Cash founder & CEO Chris Kitze Chris: We think that’s just a starting point. That benchmark test was run on a single i7 processor… 16 gigs of RAM, and it probably had a 1 terabyte SSD or to 40 gigabyte SSD. It costs about $900 and it’s about 25000 transactions per second and that’s only on one thread. Now if you remember there are 4 cores and 8 threads in an i7 processor. https://coinreport.net/conversation-chris-kitze-ceo-safe-cash/

I don't know. Truth be known, it probably doesn't do anything. They just want you to be really careful about what you put in your body. I would think that a little caffeine would not hurt the baby. Not a lot though. Maybe a glass of tea or a soda now and then. You know how the medical people are, one day they say this will kill us and then the next, it won't. THEY DON'T KNOW. I say just drink some'n now and then. Maybe wait until AFTER your first trimester. You don't want to take any chances with the first little bit of your baby's life

I've herd alot of stories and seen many pictures of ailiens.(no im not into paranormal activity) they all looked fake or proven hoaxes. You shouldn't think about this stuff so much if you get scared of it easily. No, I dont believe a giant astoid will hit earth and destroy the whole life cycle i'ts nearly imposible. But some times very small astoids may hit earth, and not make a dent.

Wirex has just launched buying bitcoin with PayPal in 37 countries. Wirex, formerly E-Coin, has launched an easy and low-cost way to buy bitcoin through PayPal, one of the world’s largest online payment systems, according to the company’s blog post. With this announcement, Wirex users in more than 30 countries will be able to use the E-Coin virtual Visa debit card to buy bitcoin with PayPal at the lowest cost. This service will be available through the E-Coin platform and is expected to benefit bitcoin users and holders in many countries, including the Bahamas, Bahrain, Botswana*, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Gibraltar, Honduras*, Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, Morocco, Mozambique*, Oman, Philippines, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal*, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Uruguay. In addition to PayPal, Wirex supports other ways to buy bitcoin through its platform. Last week, Wirex launched the ability to buy through bank transfers and other alternative payment methods (APMs), giving users dozens of options to load their E-Coin bitcoin debit cards and buy bitcoin at a competitive rate. The additional financial services offered by Wirex are part of its ongoing rebranding. In February, Wirex Limited announced the launch of Wirex, the world’s first hybrid personal banking solution that combines the benefits of blockchain technology with everyday finances. The rebranding also integrated E-Coin, the successful bitcoin debit card provider under the same company, into Wirex. All E-Coin users, cards, and accounts will move over to the new wirexapp.com platform without delay once it launches in April 2016. http://www.coinspeaker.com/2016/03/21/wirex-launches-paypal-option-for-bitcoin-purchases/

In the world of cash-transfers, few other companies come to mind as instantaneously as Western Union. If you’ve walked in a convenience store anywhere between the west and east coast of the United States, you’ve probably seen a banner for Western Union. The remittance provider is currently facing a preliminary antitrust inquiry as the EU examines allegations of Western Union intentionally driving rivals out of business. Allegedly, Western Union is giving their retail outlet partners contracts with exclusivity contracts in them which don’t allow other cash-transfer services to operate within the stores. The businesses have chosen to remain un-named as the process to investigate Western Union is private. The investigation is also covering claims that smaller remittance services were closed because of allegations that they were used to traffic drug money or terrorist funding. Currently, the remittance operator has agreed to cooperate with the EU investigation. Western Union, a company founded in the 1800’s and headquartered out of Colorado, has been providing financial services for well over 100 years. As a money transfer service, Western Union has been able to send funds almost instantaneously for years with nearly anonymous operations on the receiver’s end. Bitcoin offers a solution to those looking to send money overseas through different means than Western Union. There’s a varying aspect of anonymity with transferring money overseas through Bitcoin, depending on which means one’s uses regarding ATM’s or online wallets. The fees are much lower, if anything at all when sending Bitcoin to another person depending on the service used and the rate of funds available is only based on the confirmation time based on the blockchain. Bitcoin isn’t the only solution available for overseas transfers either. The nature of blockchain based Fintech services could render international money transfers much simpler and cheaper as well. It’s unclear how much of the profit that Western Union and other traditional money transfer services companies have rendered over the years has been a result of operational inefficiencies and how much has been just padding their pockets. A new wave of blockchain based Fintech businesses could capitalize on this need in the market very quickly. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/western-union-faces-legal-scrutiny-in-eu-over-business-practices/

Alpharetta dentist's office hit by ransomware Cybersecurity experts are warning businesses to protect themselves against a virus that holds their computer files ransom. Alpharetta dentist Darrell Morton told Channel 2’s Mike Petchenik someone in his office opened an email the person thought was from a former contact last week, and the virus immediately took hold. “We knew something happened almost in seconds,” Morton told Petchenik. “The computer that the virus attacked first just immediately started to slow down.” Morton said he then noticed a popup message saying if he wanted to retrieve the now-encrypted files, he’d have to pay up. “It’s paid in something called Bitcoin,” he said. Cybersecurity consultant Tony UcedeVelez, who runs VerSprite, a firm that specializes in helping medical practices secure their data, told Channel 2 Action News the virus, called Locky, is a new strain of a ransomware application. “A lot of businesses have been hit by this in recent months, and the ransom can be anywhere from $50,000 to even $200,000,” UcedeVelez said. “The attackers know who they’re targeting.” UcedeVelez said anti-virus software does little to stop the virus once it infects a server. “Validate and make sure the email you're receiving is expected based upon your line of work, the information you’re expecting to receive. Just do a simple gut check,” he said. UcedeVelez also recommends not using your computer in “administrator mode,” because doing that allows the virus to make changes to your system that only an administrator can. He also said it's important to back up important data so that if an attack occurs, you can easily retrieve files from another source. Alpharetta police told Petchenik they are investigating the attack and believe it came from overseas. “It appears to be random,” said Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesman George Gordon. “We don’t have any evidence to say it wasn’t random.” http://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/north-fulton-county/alpharetta-dentists-office-hit-by-ransomware/173093256
