I would like to see first smart contract , and how it will work ? Something like ethereum or better .
My bet is it would be better because of the coding exposure of C# as compare to Solidity by Ethereum. So much people already know how to create applications using C# most of Microsoft's products are being developed using this. MIcrosoft must want to get involved with this project?

Anyways, i am not sure why all the negativity, hopefully you guys will be more positive when the book is finished and see how awesome it is.
The opposition comes from your original post where you... A. Claim that this is an original idea, I never claimed this was an original idea, Please prove this statement. However it has not been done in the Crypto space !
B. Aren't completely clear that this is a book for one to house their collection, rather than a book that would be a directory to physical crypto coin collectors I am super clear that this is a book to house their collections ( and always have been)! Others have not been clear about the difference between this and the encyclopedia.
C. You claim you're also going to list all of the coins in existence with their stats, yet you don't acknowledge Elianite's Encyclopedia which does the same thing and has been widely publicized and praised on this forum. Your right, the fact i didn't know about the encyclopedia is my bad, i started collecting Crypto coins in 2012. The encyclopedia is awesome from what i have read so far. . Just trying to help clarify some of the emotion behind the opposition comments. ---------------------------------------------------- As for an album to contain the coins, sounds like an interest idea. One challenge is that a lot of coins (particularly Casascius) have been graded and slabbed. Maybe you need some flexibility in the type of pages that can be inserted so the album can be customized to meet the needs of each collector's collection. You should not skimp on the quality of the binding and pages. Let the album represent the value that these collections of mosly loaded coins has. I agree with all this [/quote

Offers accepted while the price is at an all time high. 0.05? or please just give me an offer Unfortunately that is more of a lowball than an offer. How much ? please offer You do realize that the asking price is 0.65 BTC and that you've just offered 0.05 BTC? Such an offer is absurd. I meant 0.5.... but anyways, i might have another seller for less No disrepect - love the design on this coin - it definately looks like a 1000 dollar coin, Good luck

You can use just a normal bitcoin paper wallet to store Agoras if it is on omni? Right?

Interesting thanks for sharing as it could be useful. If you read the crypto currency encyclopedia, there are ALOT of coins and most of these are not worth 1000's like how most nickels are not worth 1000's. There is still a huge amount of low value coins out there which you could put in the book (if storing expensive coins in a book is a problem for you). I think there is a market for such a bookor maybe a hybrid of what you are using. Still in the drawing board atm

Wow, so much negativity in here. I think it's not a bad idea, but does need to be thought through a bit more. I'm actually working on something very similar... Very cool, Nice work

It does seem like a gigantic waste of time and money, but if you really feel the need to prove something then go ahead. Many people have raised sensible points and you are totally ignoring them - these are some of the core buyers for your idea. It is not at all practical to store these cryptocoins in this way and it's highly likely you will overlook simple things like the plastics interacting with holograms or metals.
I respect all of your opinions. There would be a few coins per page, perhaps a series per sleeve, depending whether i stick with capsules or slabs. Maybe i can make custom sleeves for slabs.I also wouldn't be providing the coin capsules( i don't want a lawsuit for any interaction) only allow the space for it to be fitted. I respect all of you as coin collectors. I am a stamp collector, coin collector, stones collector & mining hardware collector. I see an album missing amongst my albums and that is a crypto coin album. If you don't get my idea then i don't really know what to say. Its fine though, i am pretty sure if i get the design right and offer it at a cheap price, the idea will at least breakeven and thats all i care about. I am not looking to get rich from this. I will update people when i have made new ground. Thanks for the attention, Keep collecting,

I'm not convinced on the idea but I'm curious to know how you'd plan o storing all those coins and bars in a single book... It's going to be one really really really thick book. Even if you were to limit it to one slot per coin, you're talking about a handful of manufacturers with a handful of products. To be able to create slot pages for all of them you are looking at more of a layered chest than a book... More like a layered album with detachable sleeves, New coins can be added by purchasing supplemental sleeves for them (when the sleeves is created). Sleeves would have slots and information on the coin. The hardest thing to crack is how to make the album look like it came from the year 3000. It has to look futuristic and slick. Nothing like the existing coin albums. Its a work in process.

Cool, so as oppose to storing the coins in a safe, you could store the coins in an album in the safe.
A fair share of the coins we trade are graded, hence coming in a slab. Not sure how to put those into a book. Did you consider that when you had your? I certainly will consider that - More so for the higher valued coins. Cool, so as oppose to storing the coins in a safe, you could store the coins in an album in the safe.
Why stop there? Why not put the album into an album of albums and then put the album of albums into an album album of albums??? Anyways, i am not sure why all the negativity, hopefully you guys will be more positive when the book is finished and see how awesome it is.
I am going ahead with the book, You guys don't have to get one if you don't want to. Thanks for the help

My book is too actually hold the coins. A little bit like a stamp album (or a coin album).
Holding thousands or tens of thousands dollars worth of goods inside of a "stamp album" would be a really stupid move. Have fun getting robbed. Cool, so as oppose to storing the coins in a safe, you could store the coins in an album in the safe. Anyways, i am not sure why all the negativity, hopefully you guys will be more positive when the book is finished and see how awesome it is. Which makes this project both obsolete and useless. What's up with the recent influx of *people* copying other people's ideas? I think the idea is more like a coin album than an encylopedia. I don't think many of us would store their coins in that way.

Dito. Yes, i wouldn;t store my coins like how it is seen in the picture. The slots would have to be fitted to include space for an air capsule (for the coins)
