81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 06, 2024, 03:02:41 PM
Some people can risk a high amount of money in gambling, and they are fortunate to win big. I don't take such risk and my income is not too high. I just believe that one day I will win a jackpot or lottery. Every gambler had a lucky day, and it might be a big win.
Yes, it's true the ones who can risk a lot of money could earn high amounts in profit if their luck favors them but there are some unfortunate people who use high amount in gambling and end up emptying their bankroll. I hope one day you may win the jackpot that you mentioned, I know it's possible but we aren't sure when we'll have it.

I have a consistent profit on Blackjack maybe like 75% winning rate per month while I have some major wins on slot games without losing big time since Imrarely increase my base bet.
I'm very happy to hear that, you're among those lucky fellows who wins the games that most of us consider too tough to win. I have never made any profits on those slot games but surely I have made some profits on sports bets. I believe someone who's lucky can win at such games while at sports events your research can somehow improve your luck or your chance of winning.

Mine is no because I have made exponential losses in gambling until I started to gamble just for fun. A friend told me one thing and I also noticed it, if you bet with low amount of money, you will win ....~Snip~
You're not alone in the list buddy, so many others have gone though huge losses in gambling and for such people the fun part should be the only aim because their luck won't let them make profits and if they chase for profits then they will continue losing even more. Yes, it's better to use small amount for betting to reduce the losses.

I am a small gambler, I tend to put only little money in my account for gambling but recently I increased it (deliberately) so that I would be able to learn how a site works and it ended up costing me my entire bankroll.
That's not recommended at all, for fun part we can enjoy gambling with small amount of money because risking your whole bankroll in gambling isn't recommended at all as it could lead to bankruptcy. I suggest you to enjoy gambling with small amount of bets but if you want to go for some high amount bets then only do that in the matches where you're 99% sure the team or club you choose is 10x better then the opposite team or club. In such matches you can sometimes lose but most of the times you'll win.

I have seen people hitting max win on reputable casinos and come one week after begging for a tip as they were broke, this means that they can't resist the need to come back to ask for more and they have not won irrelevant amounts, they have hit sometimes up to 80.000 dollars
I believe such people need to get properly educated about gambling responsibility because winning such amounts isn't going to happen each day or each time. One should enjoy the won amount and stay away from gambling for sometime if he/she win such huge amount.

One of the users that comes to mind is Tykiwanuka, I can't tell if he's a lucky gambler, but I remember that he's a professional sports bettor since he had this AMA thread back then which was insightful.
It's nice to hear about him/her because I'm also into sports betting and reading his/her AMA thread will be quite helpful for me.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 05, 2024, 06:23:54 PM
From the title of the topic it's clearly that I'm someone who considers gambling a fun activity but I can't ignore the fact that for some people gambling is quite profitable as well. I'm referring to very lucky ones as that some people because most of the gamblers get inspired after hearing their stories.

I've made some profitable bets especially in sportsbook but I won't consider those much profitable because the bets I have placed were of low value and that's why the earned profit was also low. Most of the profits were with very low odds and that's why I just ignore those profits and enjoy the fun part of gambling.

I must say that I'm not among those lucky ones and haven't yet made huge profits in gambling but I want to know that do we have some of those lucky ones on this forum who have made exponential profits in gambling? If yes then kindly share your gambling story to inspire others.
84  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fulfilling signature campaign post quota by recycling own posts on: June 05, 2024, 05:42:57 PM
They have hired some spammers in the campaign (not everyone). They don't give priority to quality, they only need quantity.
Yes, there have been cases of many members of that campaign who were breaking the rules of the forum and doing things which this community doesn't accept. However, it's not possible for single person to look after all of those things and that's why spammers do their spamming activity without any fear.

They must hire someone for managing the campaign. Or at least to monitor the participants and replacing the spammer.

I believe a large campaign like Stake should have more than one manager or a manager with some assistants. There are some good members who are also part of that campaign but it's also a fact that some members of that campaign are taking advantage of the manger who's hiring them as participants.

It's a quite hard job to manage a campaign where most members have to make so many posts and for a single person it's not possible to go through all of the members and their posts to verify that are those posts legit or those are recycled ones or are AI generated ones.
85  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fulfilling signature campaign post quota by recycling own posts on: June 05, 2024, 04:47:30 PM
It's the worst case of recycling one's own posts I have ever seen, in fact it's the first time I'm seeing someone doing something like that.

It's the worst thing someone can do with a campaign manager who trusted them by accepting such people in their managed campaigns.

I hope the campaign manager will take some action against that user and possibility remove him/her from campaign with some warning.

I personally have no rivalry with that user but whatever he/she does isn't right and I believe such type of members should get reported to campaign managers as soon as possible.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 05, 2024, 03:05:19 PM
1. What exactly do you want from gambling? Say it, even if it's something you don't think is possible to achieve.
I just want to have some fun during my gambling time and that's what I want from gambling of course the fun part will be totally ruined if we consistently lose in gambling and that's why I bet in sports events because I get happy with sports betting and at the same time I earn money sometimes from my good bets.

2. What steps have you take to see if you can achieve that which you want from gambling?
First step I have taken to achieve my fun goal from gambling was to shift my focus from casino based games to sports book as that's more suitable for me and at the same time I could earn some profits with it if my research turns out to be good.

I try to research the matches where I place my bets and when research process is completed then and only then I place my bets. Most of my bets have gone good and that makes me happy, and that makes me achieve my fun part.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX will repay everybody 118% back on: June 05, 2024, 02:56:26 PM
FTX customers who were victimized may be happy with this news, but when will FTX pay for it? Is it just a promise that will continue to be delayed?
In fact, I don't think they will pay anytime soon.
I agree with you, the news will make the victims of FTX fraud happy and they will have some hope that they may get their funds back and surely that 18% extra would make them even more happy.

But, I also think that such news is just news and nothing like this could be done easily. I believe in order to pay the victims they will have to do a lot of things and they need funds to do that.

I agree that they will keep delaying the refunding promise and will continue to make the victims hope that they will get their funds back but as long as we won't see the victims getting refunds then it's not wise to believe such promises.
88  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CEX P2P under Governments Attack, let's Embrace DEX P2P on: June 05, 2024, 02:48:35 PM
You clearly have no idea about what you just said. Decentralization has never, and will never be leaked or broken. How do you charge a case on anonymous exchanges?
I had some idea about it and I believe that's why I said that. When a country's government attack p2p centralized exchanges then that country's government tries their best to attack the decentralized p2p exchanges as well. I know that such attack isn't going to be a direct attack because it would be much tough for them to directly attack decentralized exchange p2p users as they can't do that directly.

The users who complete p2p transactions on decentralized exchanges also have to use banks in order to complete the fiat based p2p transactions and in such case banks could monitor the bank accounts or digital banking accounts of those p2p merchants and if they see suspicious transactions then they may freeze the accounts of the merchants who do p2p transactions on decentralized exchanges.

It would be much hard for the government's to track p2p crypto transactions but p2p crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto transactions can be tracked to some extent. Even sometimes in order to do that, government's can have their accounts set as merchants and whoever does p2p trading with them they track their accounts and take actions against those in stealth mode first and then some kind of direct actions.
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Payout In Error - Should i advise them? on: June 05, 2024, 02:35:39 PM
Well, brother, I think it's more of a scam attempt than promotion, imagine if op is the owner of this casino, and by posting this here, some greedy guys after reading might want to take advantage of the supposed bug doesn't exist, they register and deposit to the casino with the expectation of receiving the 100 percent bonus and withdrawing it immediately, as well as their main deposit as well, that is doubling your money under a few minutes with no risk of losing a penny.
Yes, that's possible but there's possibility of promotion as well because when player deposit funds to such casino with hope of taking advantage of the bug then the casino gets the money and when those players try to withdraw the deposited amount then they won't be able to do that because there isn't a bug that OP mentioned.

And, now the ones who deposited the money in order to avail the bonus has to complete the wagering requirements which most of them won't be able to do, and end up losing everything that they have deposited. However, I do agree that such type of thread is mostly created to scam others either directly or indirectly.
90  Economy / Reputation / Re: 13 years on bitcointalk… on: June 05, 2024, 02:30:11 PM
It's really amazing to see that some people are using this forum even if they were the ones who adopted Bitcoin at its early days. In 13 years baby can be somewhat young and it's not a short duration. I believe some OG's will stay with us for much longer time than 13 years and I'm sure Philipma1957 is one of such people.
91  Economy / Services / Re: [HOLD] Fullhouse.gg Signature Campaign | Full Member+ on: June 04, 2024, 07:05:59 PM
Hey guys,
I'm extremely sorry. I have sent the fund back to the fullhouse team. We could continue the campaign here but you know they are a total liar and I'm not really interested in working with a liar.
That was a quite smart move Little Mouse. The Fullhouse team weren't honest with their manager and such teams could never be reliable for players. I believe after Little Mouse's decision, each of us should try our best to avoid that casino even if they try to take our attention by promising 800% bonus. You have done a great job Little Mouse, it was a really bold decision and because of it you respect increased in eyes of all those members who trust you.
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: crypto is actually the future on: June 04, 2024, 03:58:38 PM
we as traders want clear trends.
crypto has the advantage that there are still a lot of retail traders in comparison to markets that are dominated by algos run by gigantic financial institutions.
You're right to some extent but wrong at the same time, even crypto market is mostly dominated by the algos. Top level institutions and whale traders have some tech advantages which a normal trader can't even imagine. They have made their algorithms and at the same time trained their AI models to the levels that makes them advantageous in comparison to normal traders.

There are still so many trader who try to stay away from crypto market due to very high volatility and unpredictability. I know we crypto traders prefer it way more as compare to traditional markets but many still try to avoid investing in crypto market. The crypto market is of course a great way to generate wealth when you understand the things deeply but it's not for everyone.
93  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Payout In Error - Should i advise them? on: June 04, 2024, 03:46:38 PM
Many members have found this thread as an scam attempt but to me it sounds more like a promotion of that casino. The OP shared the name because he want the scammers to deposit funds in that new casino and there could be some link of OP with that casino if I'm not wrong. I can be wrong but I'm quite sure it's a trap set for greedy fellows who want to earn from that exploit.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Crypto Casinos.💎 on: June 04, 2024, 03:26:49 PM
The actual transaction, what it’s for and who it is going to, doesn’t show up. There is no middle person like a credit card company that knows why we are making a cryptocurrency transaction. This means that crypto casinos present gamblers the opportunity to remain anonymous.
The transactions on crypto blockchains are visible to public and when chain analysis agencies go deep into transactions then they can easily find out that why the transaction why made. I know for day to day transactions it's not necessary but sometime when suspicious transactions take place then chain analysis agencies try their best to find out the connection between the wallets of the one who sent a transaction and the one who received it.

I'm not very sure about gambling sites but when someone sends transactions to an exchange's wallet and or withdraw their coins from an exchange's hot wallet then it can be easily found by those chain analysis agencies. I agree that to some extent crypto casinos are way better in providing anonymity but I would still say that crypto transactions aren't anonymous.
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does this Bridge make a profit exactly? on: June 04, 2024, 12:00:10 PM
It's like with centralized exchanges — some exchanges have cheaper 'exchange fees' but it doesn't necessarily mean it's actually cheaper because it doesn't account for slippage/spread/etc which are fees that exchange may earn but don't fall under 'exchange fees'.
That's very true, and I believe that could be the case of the bridge as well. They might make profit other way by adjusting slippage/spread and something similar. We don't understand their business model yet but I'm pretty sure they aren't losing money but making something with each swap.

Those businesses exist to make profit from such chain-chain conversions and from swaps. Some of the profits could be visible in the form of fees while other profits may be the ones that you mentioned. They might be earning profits from other tools that they are offering but I'm sure they're also making profit from the tool that OP mentioned in the thread.
96  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty FullHouse casino plagiarized the whitepaper from Shuffle on: June 04, 2024, 11:50:55 AM
They dont have connection. I didnt know both were pretty much same until I saw this thread.
If they have no connection then surely FullHouse copied the white paper of the Shuffle or whatever I said in my first comment could be true. The writer who wrote those white papers might be the same person. The casinos often hire writer for their white paper writing and that's why they could unintentionally hire the same person.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fullhouse.gg | The Only Casino Where You Are Part of The House on: June 03, 2024, 07:23:54 PM
Welcome to the forum and I also appreciate your quickness in launching your signature campaign on this forum. I hope you will get good exposure with that signature campaign. I suggest you to launch a review campaign as well.

A review campaign could make things easier for other players who haven't yet tried your platform. I'm personally interested in reviewing your casino, if you're interested then feel free to send me a pm in my inbox.

The casino sounds too good to me and I believe it can grow quite well overtime. Best of luck!
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump accepts Lightning Network for donation of his campaign in Bitcoin on: June 03, 2024, 07:19:26 PM
Trump is targeting crypto community to gain more political advantage over Biden but if whatever he does is not just for sake of political favor but he's genuinely interested in cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin then I think he could be a good candidate for presidential elections.

I'm not sure whether his victory could be beneficial for anyone or not but if he stay firm and continue supporting cryptocurrencies even after becoming the president of United States then things will be much smother for crypto community of United States.

I know it's not a great think to accept donation via Bitcoin but it's the first step to show that he's now into crypto market and surely as a businessmen he will try to earn good returns in this bull run if he secretly hold a huge stash of Bitcoin.

100  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty FullHouse casino plagiarized the whitepaper from Shuffle on: June 03, 2024, 06:25:36 PM
Hence it seems that the Shuffle whitepaper has fewer information than the Fullhouse whitepaper as well, so SHFL did only pick a few things from Fullhouse and kept quiet so far on this.
So you're saying that Shuffle has copied some information from Fullhouse whitepaper. I believe it can be coincidence or the one who wrote the white papers for both casino might be the same person. But, if it falls into plagiarism then both casinos should talk on this topic.

I believe it's not exactly plagiarized white paper but it's written in similar formatting and that's why I believe the one who wrote the white papers might be the same person. However, if both casinos have no issue with it then it won't be bothersome of someone else. Let's see what Shuffle says about this.
