it takes max two hours to clone a "next generation" coin. or did you add any new features?
We are working on a coin mixing service as we feel true anonymity is paramount within a cryptocurrency. No, it was not added into the initial source code as it is still a ways off. We are also starting to work on a second generation light weight wallet. The coin is very fast as our intent was to make a coin so you could walk into Starbucks and buy some coffee within a minute. You have to start somewhere right? So, after two years what is the situation with anonymity? What progress did you make? |

I realised XDN is not on Yobit. Why not get it listed? Need to raise market cap as a starting point too.  Yes but dnote needs to do this as the form needs an email and specifications i don't understand. You guys need a publicist. Any news is publicity, regardless how XDN could be used - for the good or bad. The news report on frogLabs experiment should be forwarded to more mainstream technology news websites, and should not rely on crypto news sites as no one reads them except you and me, for the purpose of self-masturbation. XDN needs to be more mainstream! We could make a campaign on some Bitcoin ads network such as mellow ads so that people like faucet users would learn about our coin. I will make a thread asking about a payment processor (how big a bounty should be) The idea is good but we could do more. I do not have much stakes in XDN but I see its potential. Let's take a step back look at this from a marketing/PR/corp comms/publicity perspective - step 1: Who are our target audience? And why should they be our target audience? Audience: Anyone who wants to make investments. We need to attract people from social networks and tell 'em about digital currencies, in the specific about XDN and what makes it attractive (explaining its features). Also with people who already have invested in some digital currencies. Many of them don't even know about XDN. Maybe looking for anyone making investments is too ambitious. These people would need to be interested in anonymity from the start. I can see a large amount of bitcoin users would be interested in something bitcoin doesn't offer. However I find a bit annoying that everything has to do with bitcoin. We also need to find people out from the sphere of bitcoin. Bitcoin users became as such because they saw some opportunity with it or features they were interested in. I wish we don't just have to attract Bitcoin or Monero users to XDN. It's time that people will start to look at the world of digital currencies first from DigitalNote, so that DigitalNote is able to attract its own users and Bitcoin will start to be weak. We need to have plans and being ambitious. |

And when dNote and Team implement the 'dual' blockchain, XDN will really take off. People don't realise the potential... You can have the best product in the world, but if no one knows about it, it will never take off. DigitalNote group lacks of marketing IMHO. Look at their facebook page for instance. It's dead. Last post was made in Aug 25 2015. People need to know about XDN and decide to invest, mining etc. Someone, here, has predicted that in the next days XDN will have a pump. I wish it will be so but I think there will be no pump. The XDN price will stay more or less the same with its small highs and lows. |

A technical question... I noted that if I move the XDN pack from one partition to another partition, it's like you reset everything and you have to sync from the beginning again. Back up doesn't work either. Why is that?

I tried to end the process in task manager but it didn't work. Then I turned off and on my pc, I tried to open the wallet and finally worked. Thanks to all of you. Great community and very useful suggestions I can finally put my money on it.  |

Hello buddies,
After I synchronized the wallet I clicked the "X" to close the wallet. Soon after I had a message: "DigitalNote wallet is saving data. Please wait".
I waited for over 12 hours and it still didn't finish to save. Is it normal?

no. this should not happen. i think you have to force quit the app and start again. and i think that nothing will happen. and btw it is easier to help you if you at least mention you OS. Windows 7. Here is another thing that annoying me. I closed the wallet and when I try to re-open it, it gives this message: "Fail. DigitalNote wallet already running" What should I do? |

I believe a good strategy would be to spread the awareness about XDN to dissidents, they would benefit from being able to send messages and money anonymously.
I think if they can improve their anonymity, then since there is a segment of the web (darknet) very interested to it, it would be good to marketing over there, at the right time. At that moment XDN anonymity is above or absolutely equal to Monero in terms of technology. But XDN got crypto messages. Hello there, What do you think about Proof of Activity being one of the features of XDN, suggested by someone? |

For me, if XDN is able to reach more exchanges, it can be the perfect replacement for dogecoin, high emission, stable price and low fees, perfect to move coins through exchanges
The founders of Dogecoin create it for fun and they want to keep it like that (this is what they say). If you want to make some good investments then you should look elsewhere. I tried to contact some exchange to tell to add XDN. I was said they have to value XDN, and if it meets their requirment it would be on the list. Others can do the same, maybe something will change and XDN may become more popular. |

Someone sold me 1709678 XDN for 0.4958 BTC, i guess he regretted that he will regret it even more in the future when 10XDN>1$ When 10XDN>1$ or when 1XDN>1$? This is likely to happen if the federal reserve continue to destroy the dollar by printing money to bail out the banks. I will start marketing XDN next month, i already own over a 10 million XDN but that's not enough, i want 20 million for me and one million to give away to the devs. What your marketing strategy would be? Does anyone know what were/are the marketing strategies of the other well established altcoins such Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, DigixDao, Dash, Peerplays and Monero? |

How exactly do you plan to market DigitalNote?
I'm asking because I did some minor stuff like writing an article for a website and a small giveaway on Reddit but never any grunt that invoked much money.
I am certain XDN will hit 100 satoshi this year, you better have the balls to invest heavily in it. I just got another 3 million XDN for 29 satoshi each. How can you be so certain of that? |

Can anyone explain to me how does messaging in XDN client wallet works? I sent a message and paid the fees, and set the anonymous level.
But it has been 48 hours and it only has 0 confirmations! It means message not sent?
Did you checked self-destruction timer? If so, it will not be included in blockchain and will be destroyed (deleted from tx pool) after some time and will always be 0 confirmations. If I'm not mistaken I think you represent XDN. I wanna make you some questions very important to me. How the anonymity of XDN is better than that of Bitcoin, Monero and other well established altcoins? Do you think in the near future XDN will be used in the Darknet as one of the main coins. Considering that being used in the Darknet would bring a good amount of money to DigitalNote, and makes it stronger. Are you guys working on that aspect too? |

I'm new here, not sure if this is the right topic I can write this on, if not, please forgive me.
A few days ago I downloaded the XDN wallet because I wanted to acquire some XDN coins and I noted that the synchronization is very long, after three days was still synchronizing. For some reasons I had to turn off my pc. A message popped out telling me to wait because it has to save data. After a couple of days was still saving.
Is all that normal?
I don't understand why I don't have the XDN wallet on my desktop. Every time I wish to open the wallet I have to go where I download it and pass through that process, but it doesn't show up.
Any suggestions?

What block height is your synchronisation at? Are you connecting to any peers (shown on the bottom right of the wallet)? Currently we are at block 296619. Point a short cut from wherever you want (Desktop, Taskbar, Start) to where you have the DigitalNote files extracted to. A user's blockchain and wallet data for Windows are stored in: C:\Users\'CURRENT USER'\AppData\Roaming\digitalnote I think that when you try to close the wallet before it has reached the top block of synchronisation, you are asked to wait in the way you experienced however I have had to force wallets to close before being fully synced without any problems. Since I still can't get in I can't exactly tell at what block is. However for what I recollect, you may be correct. As far as you know the synchro requires lots of memory? I think the only solution for me would be to uninstall the wallet and then install it again. Is it enough to delete the wallet from the download folder or is there a process to follow? |
