The same people promising Vostok airdrop promised to swap Coinomat assets as soon as Waves launched, how did that promise turn out?

Is there a guide to setting up a masternode on Windows?

Is anyone planning to offer a MN setup service and/or MN pools?
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTR] vTorrent - Share with freedom | 2FA | HD | @Bittrex on: July 08, 2018, 10:43:12 PM
Is this coin going to die ?

Bittrex "The VTR market will be delisted on 7/20/2018"

Dev is a scammer. This shit is dead

Learn the definition of 'scam'. This dev cannot be a scammer by definition. He didn't sell you ICO coins, and didn't dump a premine on you. This is an abandoned project, like many others in crypto. Its pity the dev disappeared and its sad to lose the last exchange - this project was really promising, the idea was great and the community was very good at some point..

Is Bittrex indeed the only exchange for this coin?

I agree, this dev went MIA which sucks, but he wasn't a scammer.

He might still surprise us.

Hello, HiBorn!

@Waves.support

When will your organization make good on its promise to take care of coinomat holders?
Tell sasha no one cares about his new coin.  Tell him to sick it up his ass.

Coinomat service is a separate project and and Waves partner. Waves Platform does not regulate any affairs connected to that service. All the questions related to Waves Platform can be answered on any Waves channels. Anyway, your question has been forwarded to the management, and you can get any information upon your request as soon as the answer from the management is received.

Best wishes,
Waves Community manager.

Sasha issued all these coinomat assets himself, if he sold coinomat business it doesn't change that fact. He is responsible for these assets.

BTCH is a Komodo assetchain, not a bitcoin clone, developed by the same devs the Chinese government ranked as creating the second most innovative crypto tech, and the 5th best crypto overall. Don't be fooled by the name, BTCH wasn't marketed at all, it was more an experiment to test Komodo assetchains (which are basically a much more secure version of erc20), and merging 3 separate crypto utxo sets into one 200mb genesis snapshot for the BTCH assetchain gives all bitcoin holders some tokens to experiment with atomic swaps on the Komodo BarterDEX exchange. It's really innovative tech, not just a bitcoin Airdrop clone.

That sounds somewhat interesting to bad with starting off with the trolling as opposed to the post you just made you have alienated us to the point where we don't care about your shitcoin and will not make the effort to find out if its worth anything or not. If you had started with this comment before the trolls showed up I and I'm sure others would have went over and read your whitepaper.

But needing an exchange for atomic swaps are so yesterday now that lightning is working.

I'll quote you here and let's see what happens with BarterDEX and Komodo, anyone who is stupid enough to not investigate tech based on what you said above is a fool, and deserves to be left behind. You obviously know nothing about Komodo tech, but I will remind you later that you had the chance. The smart play in crypto is to research all the good projects with an open mind, and find the good ones early. Your comment above shows you don't know anything about BarterDEX tech, and the way you refer to 'alienated us' indicates you see monero as some sort of tribe or religion ... how weird, I guess as I own a bag of monero i'm an 'us' too, just one with an open mind who bothers to still research.

Sorry I wasn't specific, I was referring to the bitcoin private crew, I wouldn't spend a second looking at that shit. Yes DEX is the future I agree but if it can be done without needing to run the exchange software then it too will be moot. So they have to compete with lightning and my money is on the lightning team.

Nice try on the spin though, i'm sorry if my quip hurt your feelings.

All shills can fuck off and I can speak for the tribe on that.

BarterDEX will never require kyc, and that alone will make it useful for some over lightning alternatives, plus all the obvious benefits of always controlling your private keys. The downside so far has been designing an interface that's intuitive for people used to traditional exchanges, the big complaint is BarterDEX is not easy to use.

I think you can only speak for yourself bro, one man's shill can sometimes be anothers messenger, the tribe hasn't voted.

Edit, also, this is monero related insofar as the Komodo devs have said they are investigating adding XMR to BarterDEX, and after they added ETH and erc20 tokens recently, i don't doubt they will find a way if it's possible, which would provide XMR traders a secure kyc free option which these days is becoming increasingly rare. As long as nobody bans atomic swap tech BarterDEX will always be legal , it's just a piece of software like a torrent program.

hahahahahahahaha you guys are hilarious with all your bitcoin clones. Some even with different technology so only cloning the name. hahahahahahahahahaha

OMG hahahahahahahahaha

If your project cant even stand under its own name and needs to pretend to be something different? I think that says it all really. hahahahahahahahahahaha

88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: June 09, 2018, 11:44:21 AM
I think they shouldn't do airdrop anymore. It is already on exchanges, you can't just give away 5000 now.

The best model is making a bounty campaign. This way, word can got out.

The goal should be to complete the distribution asap, and hopefully attract a large community in the process, and fund some needed activities along the way too. As long as the devs are custodians of large number of coins the speculators will stay away, and that depresses price and liquidity, which disadvantages investors who believe in the project. Whatever the devs decide the whole distribution should be completed in 6 months max, and if the coins are given away free in an airdrop then the price can't increase until distro is done.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 09, 2018, 05:27:39 AM
Advice me please, what is coin more private? Monero or zcash? I don't know what is coin I need to buy at long time... and what is potential of coin better among these coins.

Bitcoin Private is zec but much better, decentralized and upgraded bitcoin core code. Lower inflation and 150 developers working on it. There really is no competition!

What a load of bollocks, if you're after the best bitcoin airdrop coin based on Z-cash that adds privacy features look at bitcoin hush BTCH, the komodo devs who created it were smart and airdropped just the utxo set, so their blockchain started off at 200mb rather than 200GB, plus it gets bitcoin level security via delayed PoW as a komodo assetchain, so it's super fast and tx fees are tiny.

If you're gonna shill Z-cash tech in moneroland have the decency to pick the best version.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: June 09, 2018, 05:14:12 AM
so this project is only for sr member and up? very interested to see the announcement next week and get a lot of information about this

I think the second round will be not only for senior and hero, other rank can be able to joined it.

Well i was really hoping they would consider an airdrop based on SIRX holdings and any rank can participate for as long as you have sirx on your wallet.

If they would do another free airdrop it would be catastrophic to the current price.

Distributing some % based on SIRX holding is a good idea, but need to have another round of airdrops first to provide enough liquidity for new buyers, otherwise you'll end up with a circle jerk of SIRX whales airdropping worthless tokens on themselves. Maybe reserve 50% for SIRX airdrops to new guys, and then remaining 50% based  on SIRX holdings, could be weekly like Bitcore did.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: June 08, 2018, 01:35:41 PM
Don't get me wrong, I am NOT shilling this coin or anything. But this world is still filled with people who just follow prices and evolutions without using their brain, without knowing what it's about and without doing even a second of DYOR. Look at the huge number of shitcoins on exchanges like CoinExchange. People are actually buying that...

So everything's possible. Some people will just buy anything at any price... It's stupid but I believe it's a fact.

NB: Of course I do agree it's in this case just like gambling in a casino.

eBTC is well suited for risk loving gamblers now, if there is actual dev work going on great, otherwise we have a zero sum market where the players don't need to bother with assessing devs and tech claims, it's pure gambling on what the market will do, what other market participants are willing to risk. In many ways this makes eBTC more appealing to a larger segment of the cryptosphere,  gamblers who only came here to make money, they don't care too much about decentralisation etc

Who here is naive enough to think the top 20 coins are the best, they're not on tech and adoption in many cases, eBTC market can just dispense with the BS, this is a casino game now folks, enjoy!

I would like to claim my donation to the Foundation and Big Deal as a tax deduction this financial year, does anyone have some experience with this? I guess getting some proof like a receipt from the IF will be required. The amount isn't trivial now, at least for me.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: June 07, 2018, 01:53:43 AM
preapare your WAVES !!!!

new airdrop + ICO is comming soon!!!!

https://vostokplatform.io/?cn=ZmxleGlibGVfcmVjcw%3D%3D&refsrc=email#Investment

sasha take our invested money in waves to develop waves ng platform and now he want to use our alogo and team work to start new project and give us 3% wtf  he is worest eco any way im out from waves and never invested in sasha scam projects again

Now you understand how frustrated Coinomat investors feel, karma will catch up to Sasha eventually, it's cool to add new projects but you can't keep leaving past investors behind.

Jl777 swapped every single asset from NXT to komodo platform, and every past investor is getting revenue shares of some sort from his income generating ventures, nobody was left behind since he started in crypto in 2013. Sasha needs to think like jl777, bring the past supporters along into the new projects with a fair and equitable share, it's good for business as it keeps ALL supporters onside and grows the community, plus it's the right thing to do, and builds his reputation as an industry leader.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Are you ready for the future? on: June 07, 2018, 12:48:21 AM
If we add PoS along side PoW it would be nearly impossible for them to 51% attack
Even is PoS gets only 10% of block reward people will stake and protect the network

For about 300 kmd a year any coin can get bitcoin level security from Komodo delayed PoW notarisation, they just did this for GAME which effectively makes GAME coin 51%-proof , BTX devs should look into it now that 51% attacks are the latest craze.

Remember, nobody can outrun a tiger, but as long as you're faster than the other prey you'll survive, and the 51% attack predators are on the hunt now, BTX needs something like kmd notarisation to avoid getting attacked. Just a suggestion.

Just hodl for now, and wait for news about the sidechain, always possible to start an OTC thread.
96  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: June 06, 2018, 02:30:45 PM
Bittrex is a good example how an exchange destroys itself.

They had the most volume and more than billions dollars daily but they started to give the shittiest service out there and look at the volume right now.

You're correçt, bittrex service levels are in the toilet, but their biggest fuckup to date has been freezing accounts from existing customers without any warning about changes to terms of service ... that is unforgivable!
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HEAT Discussion and Technical info on: June 05, 2018, 11:55:10 PM
Once again a great month is over for forging/staking HEAT. For the ones in HEATpool, we achieved a total ROI of ~2.7% in May, not bad!

Find below some further details regarding the results:
https://heatpool.org/2018/06/01/may-2018-ended-with-2-7-roi-for-heatpool-lessors/

Just imagine you have "only" 10k HEAT, that would have granted you about $50 in forging rewards last month at the current HEAT rate, basically doing nothing!

And then add to that the fact that the prices can only go up from here, as we already have a stable DEX with fast trading, integrated ETH/ERC20 wallet (which works quite well already in its current state), and it should only be a matter of time until the mobile wallet will be here, more trading pairs will be added to the DEX (incl ETH) and the microservices will be released!

I love your pool, keep up the good work, thanks!
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] on: June 05, 2018, 01:57:10 AM
Well, Nice to see tha PI coin has a lot supporters

Yes, Indeed.. Lot more will come out of closet once someone takes over this project and be serious to grow the community!

LOL Cheesy... People just moan here, because nobody has a skill nor willingness to even fork it.
Let's sink that in. It's just with almost all crypto communities - without small group of developers, they can't take control over it or do anything with it.
They just cheer-in, when there is a pump. That's very sad.

Any takeover dev who forks Pi would be entitled to a good sized % of the coins ... community is obviously rusted on, worth considering, not exactly rocket science forking Pi

could rename to Pi-ed Piper and moon in a few weeks Smiley
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: June 05, 2018, 12:53:42 AM
This is why I sold everything beginning of May and am damn glad that I did.  No one cares about this project, period.  What will happen is EOS will implement some inferior technology which everyone will herald as the best thing ever and everyone will use it.  NEM straight up fucked themselves with their invisible approach.  They're done.  If you have no community, hype or marketing it is over.  Companies will be reluctant to even pick it up simply because "no one else is using it."  Very, very sad but possibly true.  The whole $2 run up was a giant fluke that all started with that stupid chinese chat app rumor and was piled on by a hyperactive market we will not see again for a long time.  Nothing to go by and had nothing to do with tech or awareness.

I truly believe in this coin and honestly think it's one of the best out there. But I don't think the vast majority agree with that statement. Nobody seems to give a shit about it, and that concerns me.

I used to think that catapult would "catapult" nem onto the main stage and in the spotlight. But I wonder if catapult mainnet will even move the needle. With the way things are going I think not. If a superior solution exists and nobody cares about it, is it really superior?

I understand the whole market is down and that plays a factor, but a bigger problem is the coin itself and lack of marketing and awareness. Although on the plus side, Last time we had a big lull like this we came storming out of nowhere to reach $2.
This pathetic lack of volume compared to the rest of the to 15 is really concerning to me. Am I the only one who feels this way?

There's an old saying that goes: if one person is the problem, they're the asshole. If everyone is the problem, you're the asshole.
Are we (nem holders) the collective assholes?

We're in a new cycle now, the crypto hype is being replaced with the reality that no crypto project can meet expectations, and EOS will be just another Pets.com that fails to live up to the bloated price it trades at today.

NEM has a proven dev team, and a good product, it'll be around for a long time!

Batten down the hatches, EOS will fail to live up to expectations and herald another waive of crypto doom ...
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: June 04, 2018, 12:46:20 AM
Greetings, mandibleclaw!

Can someone explain to me what is Coinomat? Is that some Sasha's project before waves? Was something built on top of NXT? It's some kind of ICO went wrong? How is correlated to waves btw?

Coinomat is a gateway service for Waves Platform users who want to introduce FIAT money into the Waves blockchain tokens. You can find more info on their website. Sasha is Waves CEO AND COINOMAT FOUNDER WHO ISSUED MANY COINOMAT ASSETS ON NXT PERSONALLY, Coinomat is Waves partner. All the details of NXT project you can find on their forum https://nxtforum.org/cryptoasset-fund-projects/(ann)-coinomat-com/.

Best wishes,
Waves Community manager.

I find it worrying that you leave out the critical fact that Sasha personally issued all the unswapped assets on the NXT asset exchange,  so it doesñ't matter what the status of Coinomat is now, the new operators of Coinomat did not issue these assets, Sasha did, and that makes Sasha responsible to these past investors.

Nobody who knows the history is going to be fooled, Coinomat might be a waves 'partner' today, but Sasha issued the unswapped assets, so they are most definitely his responsibility, so he either ensures the new Coinomat operators honour the swaps, or he does it himself.

Sasha issued the unswapped assets , and he was the one who promised a second round of swaps after waves launched. What new waves investors since 2014 believe is irrelevant,  the facts in this case are clear.
