81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: July 25, 2020, 09:35:25 AM
Thats hard to calculate with the current bounty campaign nowadays. Btc sig campaign are always better because they can guaranteed a good payment. I remember when I was still on BestChange campaign, I earned good amount of btc. But still I am looking for a potential altcoin to join after the ludena campaign.

Earning token from altcoin sometime suprises you, and could give you a shocking reward.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network is at 5 million users on: July 24, 2020, 02:22:29 PM
Pi Network hit 5 million users. I have a fairly active mining team if anyone wanted to join. Its free to mine and uses a consensus algorith instead of POW (proof of work) mining so its done on your phone. No actual money invested as the coin is still in the BETA phase. If you download the app use the referral code Umlum. Lets get this Pi. Grin
Im not so sure about it. Anything related to mobile mining could be a scam. I heard of this project before and been hearing until now, does this project have blockchain at all? If its a crypto project they should have a network at least.

Be careful even though its look legit there is a chance that the app could have viruses that could damage your phone and steal information.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep quit about bitwings? on: July 24, 2020, 01:46:37 PM
Reportedly Bitwings will hold an IEO on binance, but it's still a rumor, we don't know for sure, and Binance also hasn't announced their IEO yet, we'll wait, if indeed IEO Bitwing is held at Binance, I'll buy it.
I doubt this is true. Binance never disclose their potential project on IEO, where did you hear this rumor? Probably just a gossip about it but only through commoners. How come they will launch an IEO when they held already an ICO and there arr allegations about them not just with OP but also on scam section.

OP, let go of it already, many hunters experienced the same kind of unpaid dues.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Mining Is Now More Profitable than Other Altcoin Mining on: July 23, 2020, 05:38:52 AM
but why people should mine the coin that can dump in the price for 50-90 percent per day. I do not think that people need to buy miners in order to mine some highly risky coins
I think because they found a hype on this coin. Its not hard to switch which coin to mine when you have already an equipment and tools for mining. I think due to recent hype some miners found mining dogecoin interesting. But of course its a risky gamble if they will have a huge expenditure on consumption.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON launches 3 new products on: July 23, 2020, 04:53:16 AM
To be honest, just for including "J" or "just" in the names drives me off.
Is this a decentralised network or a vanity chain for justin where everything has to be named in his likeness?
I noticed this insanity of Justin when he release Just tokens clearly he wanted to name every products and services after him which is annoying.

It seems he is trying to get a piece of that defi pie. But tron doesn't have a lot of tokens on it so i don't think that would be wise unless he can convince uniswap or curve to implement tron tokens somehow.
Not a piece but PIECES of what defi could benefit him. Tron never changes, aside from being a copycat they really wanted to be like Binance. But their approach seems like their just copying everthing that are good.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / TRON launches 3 new products on: July 22, 2020, 03:35:21 PM
Ive just seen this tweet from Justin

https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1285506130618146816

They are launching three products such as

1. JustSwap a version of uniswap probably on tron network.

2. Usdj and jst yield farming sounds like a new kind of staking or reward based on holding.

3. Tron blockchain will launched on oracle.

Amongst these three I think the one useful will be the uniswap version for tron. But obviously this is another copy cat of whats defi system becomes a trend since uniswap are now booming for dexes that support most of the defi projects. Any thoughts?
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A must read For all those who aren't suspicious yet on: July 22, 2020, 03:24:41 PM
I suggest you to write it also on its bounty thread, it seems like some stupid hunters didn't even try to see your awareness. They are blindly promoting such scam project. I guess we must try to take care those crap hunters to stop promoting such scam project.
Agree. The hunters who joined a very suspicious projects should be aware of the campaign they joined of. I read the thread you posted and it looks like they are really a scam project. They caught lying about their parent company which denied when there is an evidence that they are not really affiliated with the said website of ibidtown. Even they pay or not the participants the project is at huge risk for everyone.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wirex becomes principal member of Mastercard. on: July 21, 2020, 02:07:59 PM
Wirex is a quality crypto company but i do not think that they provide cards for all countries this is the thing they need to work on fast because other crypto card companies some of them that i know like crypterium are already providing global service.
Everybody start from small scale so I guess they can improve at a later time. Mostly crypto card debit card start from Europe then goes to Asia. Probably mastercard expand their supported crypto across the globe. Crypterium is a good project maybe wirex will be at that stance in the future. Who knows it could widen their scope.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO might soon become an history in crypto world soon on: July 21, 2020, 07:19:32 AM
IEOs are not public offerings, which entirely misses the principle of crowdfunding, am I right or wrong?
Wrong. How can you say its not an public offering as they offered token for sale? The only thing about those IEO held on big platforms are they using lottery system to pick out the winners of their token sale since a lot of investors will probably participate. Like most investors they are confident with the listing of those IEO cause it was handled by top exchanges like Binance, kucoin and okex.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of Reading Coin? on: July 21, 2020, 06:37:58 AM
Anyone have any thoughts to share on Reading Coin - ReadingCoin.org?

Thanks, looking forward to replies.
Feel free to ask any questions,

Founder - Matthew Jones
Not much details about their goal. Also thinking of the concept of reading and get paid,I think it will not create a massive impact, this is just a very easy concept that most people will not buy. I think too many developers are running out of ideas to use blockchain as it is. Cause even a platform for reading is now being itnroduced.

I must say this will not be so good in the end. Sorry but that's only my opinion. Create more details and features and maybe it will be a good coin later.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC: Top DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization on: July 21, 2020, 05:35:00 AM
Coinmarketcap now has a display for DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization.

It's just how they define tokens to be DeFi though, And do you think it's a complete list or something is missing? I think this is great though, specially for those who are not familiar with this new hype is crypto market, so good job CZ (although sometimes I think he is becoming too powerful!).
I think this list will help those who are really interested on defi projects. Cmc is good job for putting up a list where users will be able to compare those with potential to trade with and invest. Usually traders will check this data one by one to see which defi has potential to increase its base market price. Now it will become an easy task.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Wirex becomes principal member of Mastercard. on: July 21, 2020, 05:17:14 AM
Wirex company now becomes a mastercard principal member.

Based on this article:
https://wirexapp.com/blog/post/wirex-becomes-mastercard-principal-member-0206

Their CEO says:
"Wirex is proud to have become a principal member of Mastercard. It has always been our vision to empower everyone to enjoy the advantages of a world where all currencies are equal, and this membership is a step in the right direction.” Matveev believes this is just the start of a series of exciting announcements for Wirex, “we’ve been working hard to develop a cheaper, faster and safer platform, and we’re excited to announce some revolutionary advancements over the next few months that will change the fintech and crypto spaces forever”.

I think aside from the Binance Card launching many crypto related firms started to improve and add more development on the scene. I know wirex have some issues before but this news could change that and probably be a good news for all. Im not a wirex user but seeing some firms integrating and connecting more on financial system will help adoption grow and expand more which is good for the market.

What do you think about the news?

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: July 19, 2020, 05:50:12 AM
You mentioned the name of the exchanger above.
These exchangers are not really good. I used Latoken Exchanger for a few days.
The Latoken exchanger is so bad that the fees are much higher than other exchangers.
They increased their fees and also implement an annoying  rule like they will charge for additional fee on inactive account that has not been touch. I forgot its value but its not appropriate to get their maintenance expenditure in the traders wallet. Its like pay tax for doing a staycation. What if you dont feel trading? Somehow it really will leave their platform.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What was the first-ever ICO you’ve invested? on: July 19, 2020, 05:21:38 AM
I forgot which one I first invested but there are lots of ICOs  that I invested during the golden time and lose a lot too. I think mostly us lose but this time I think the defi ico have encouraging results. Check out the ico of orion, it gave investor 7x of profits. I wish I had some like this too on my ICO investments before.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: July 19, 2020, 04:42:41 AM
What do you prefer OP? Someone with anonymous team but has potential project or a fake team using high caliber social profile? I think determining fake projects are easy but knowing if a good potential project is legit or not because they have an anonymous team.

Project services and even products are more important to see and experience by the community. There are fake projects that turns out legit in the future. Sometime we just accused in the wrong way.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers favorite tools on: July 18, 2020, 06:03:57 AM
I also am a victim of one of those types of projects. Day by day those scammer becoming more creative about scamming peoples. Sometimes i wonder how they find all these unique ideas for stealing people's money. For these types of activity real and potential projects failed to collect enough funds for the project developments. People afraid to lose their money again.
Their creativity to make new ways to scam people will always improved. Those scammers knows how to ride which hype they should enter so they can take advantage of those newbies seeking to gain more profit from your money. Just remember that too good to be true giveaway will always associated with scam. There are no free money easily. You should be able to recognize that after you been scammed.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has "Decentralization" become a buzz word these days? on: July 18, 2020, 04:41:48 AM
Do you think mainstream crypto companies, and startups are making bad use of the term "decentralized"? Are people worldwide being fooled by these same entities? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
If they say decentralized then they should not have any authorization over it. Bad example of this is xrp, they trying to incorporate decentralized on their project services but the truth is they are publicly centralized, like xrp ledger. Many project keeps mouthing the term decentralized but they dont actually knew exactly what supposed to be when you are decentralized. Only bitcoin so far proven the decentralized concept without any issue at all.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB Time...... on: July 17, 2020, 03:12:35 AM
I also feel that now is the right time to invest in BNB, in addition to BNB prices that are starting to show positive performance.
Binance exchange which is a BNB developer is very active in promoting, so Binance's popularity indirectly increases demand
for BNB. My advice is start collecting BNB from now on, before regretting because soon the price of BNB will pump unexpectedly.
Its actually a good coin but I think I'll wait some more time and look for a good entry. To be honest its still expensive at the moment. I was hoping I could grab at least with less than $10 price of it. But its still far from its price so Im not so sure if I could have at the price.

My regret is selling some of it before and not bought during the march crash when covid becomes viral. Its a good entry price actually.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 17, 2020, 03:02:31 AM
Binance card launched in Europe, enabling binance users to convert and spend BTC, BNB, SXP, BUSD to fiat. Binance card worked like traditional debit card powered by Swipe Plarform. Balance on the card will remain to be in the form of BNB coin until the point of sale which users can convert it into either cryptocurrency or fiat.

Source: https://www.binance.com/en/blog/421499824684900740/Binance-Card-Launches-in-Europe
So the supported establishment will be restricted since they only using those coins on their ecosystem. How fiat system will work on conversion for example you wanted to spend your coin for food, services or any other goods that accept or support Binance card.

For a big project this is a great advance. But still and only available yet to Europe.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 17, 2020, 01:47:49 AM
True but what did you expect from people who only have one thing in their mind: profits. To them, they only care about profits, a new project must have a huge increase in price, no leeway or whatsoever.
Thhey only jump from one to another in case the hype is over they usually tend to invest on a newer one. Thats how traders or investors on crypto, no permanent favorite. But there will be always a good investor that will stay loyal and faithful like the true bitcoin users that still and will hold bitcoin until it really have a good value. So much for the altcoins shits that keeps rising.
