81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop of over $500 on the price of a bitcoin last 24 hours on: October 17, 2018, 10:49:56 AM
That is usually what happens but so far the price of bitcoin has managed to stay in the same price range and now the price of the coins is back up to where it was coming from, I do not think that there is anything that is better than what bitcoin is doing now. It is very good to see this. We just have to wait out the market and bitcoin will get back to better prices
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can make fake coin? on: October 17, 2018, 10:37:08 AM
If there is some altcoin that cloned bitcoin, and the maker doesn't open the source code to github, and just released window's wallet (same with bitcoin window standalone core wallet), and web wallet for online.

And maintaining only 2 nodes at some VPS servers.

In this situation, someone can make fake coin and distribute? Like with 51% attack or via other way? How? How to block this abuse?

Thanks.
It really is not possible to clone bitcoin, the only thing that you can do is to make hardforked coins and that is why you see coins like bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold. they are forked coins but at the same time they are coins of their own, they are in no way the same thing as bitcoin. If anyone is telling you that they can clone bitcoin then they are trying to scam you
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where and how best to invest? on: October 16, 2018, 10:40:49 AM
Hey. I wanted to ask your advice. Am I right to make 60% of my savings invested in bitcoin and Ethereum, 40% in EOS and NEO. Bought recently on a price reduction and I'm sure in the long run it will bring me a good profit but maybe cost another distribution of my funds?
Do not bring that much of your savings into the market. Twenty percent of your savings would be a good idea because the thing about cryptos is that they are very volatile and unpredictable and coins can end up getting delisted which would leave you with useless coins in the long run. just be careful about how you invest and only invest money that you are willing to lose
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't bite more than you can chew on: October 16, 2018, 10:35:53 AM
This is the best thing that you can tell people, most people are just coming into the market and investing money in coins without thinking about the coins that they are putting money in, they think that because every body is buying then they ought to be buying too which is wrong. Always make sure that you are investing in the right coins with money that you can afford to lose
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do you explain the bounty campaign? on: October 16, 2018, 10:27:11 AM
When I earned my first money with the bounty, people around me (especially my family) asked me where did my money came from. When I told them that it came from bounty campaigns, I saw their puzzled face. So I explain it to them with this analogy: "When politicians are running for office, they always show their faces in public in order for them to remember. They give flyers with their name and platforms in it. ICOs are like politicians and their elections is called bounty campaign. We make the ICO popular by posting in forums, social media sites, and creating videos and article." And they quickly understood it so every time someone ask me about bounty campaign, I always used this analogy. How about you?
Easy to explain, bounty campaigns is you marketing the coins from new companies. They are paying you to carry their logos and information of their project on your account and market it to people who will invest in the project. I do bounty campaign part time and the people who know I have a part time job I just tell them that I am into online marketing
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Relationship between Altcoins and Bitcoin on: October 15, 2018, 08:44:55 AM
The relationship between altcoins and bitcoins are the trading pairs that exists between the two of these coins. If they are paired together then whatever happens to the price of bitcoin is what happens to the price of the altcoins. that is the relationship between them. The altcoins are what help to bridge the gap that is left by the supply of bitcoin
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: October 15, 2018, 08:38:35 AM
i need suggestion from you.you guy's can give me best info.
i want hold some crypto hold for long time.which can give good profit for long term?

For long term hold then your best choice would have to be ethereum. This is one coin that has a lot of investors so you can be sure that the coin is always going to have value as long as the people are investing in it. Not too long back it was confirmed that ethereum has more active addresses than bitcoin now that is the kind of coin you want to be investing in for the long term
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best competitors to Ethereum? on: October 15, 2018, 08:27:31 AM
If I were to start to pick out the best coins that are the best competitors to ethereum then I would have to pick new and cardano. These are coins with very similar projects to that of ethereum and they have been doing very good in the time that they have been in the market. This goes to show that they can compete for the spot of eth
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sustainability and regulations in crypto on: October 13, 2018, 04:01:16 PM
The need for sustainability and regulations can't be over emphasized.
Firstly on sustainability.
1. I want to thank the admins of bitcointalk forum bringing the merit system; which have make the ranks to still have values till day; with many people noticing the potential of crypto there has being a high surge in the number of participant in airrdrops and bounty program.
This has totally made airdrop worth less;  but bounty still have value as of now which I hope would continue for while much longer.  Because it what some of us use to make a good amount for side income; depending on each respective country.

2. Secondly on regulations;
There has being a lot ico puting in,  day in day out; with this I believe in few months icos would become less worthy,  cause there is no ideas or innovations, just copy cats and trash;

Finally; excluding the market situation; the average income of a bitcointalk member has reduced drastically over the last month; I hope there would be solution quickly; to give value and ensure profit.
I think that bitcointalk was just trying to maintain their own integrity, they clamped down on the multiple account owners who are using their accounts to do multiple bounties at a time. Which is good as this has reduced the rate of spam on the forum, now it would be good if they would go a step further and put some good regulations on the bounty campaigns.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all the bounties coming out right now garbage? on: October 13, 2018, 03:55:48 PM
Most of them right now are garbage and if I am being truthful I am tempted to say that all of them are garbage but I know that is not true and that there are good ones out there that you can be put your hopes in. But the truth is that a large percentage of the coins in the market right now are scams and their bounties are no different.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can altcoin topple Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2018, 06:07:04 PM
The value of altcoins are determined by the value of Bitcoin. Do you think one day altcoins can break free from the Bitcoin strong hold?
I don't believe that this is possible but then again, this is the crypto industry anything is possible. I mean a couple of years ago no one would have believed that the price of bitcoin would get this high but now look at where we are so regarding this topic I am keeping an open mind, you might never know, an altcoin might just grow to be bigger than bitcoin
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotional day trading on: October 12, 2018, 05:59:30 PM
If you know that you are an emotional person then you should not be day trading. if you allow emotions to cloud your judgement when you are trading coins then you are just going to end up making a whole lot of losses from the coins that you have. It is better to trade when you know that you are not biased, that way you will be making intelligent decisions only
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no need to panic!!!!! on: October 11, 2018, 01:37:34 PM
There is never any need to panic but that does not mean that people are not going to panic anyway. It is part of human nature to get scared and wonder if they are doing the right thing by waiting. We should all make sure not to give in to the feeling of fear which would lead to panic selling our coins at such a low price, it is always better to hold.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless so why high price? on: October 11, 2018, 01:27:41 PM
Bitcoin is very slow transaction and fee is rediculus then why people bother buying it or considering it. I have £130 of bitcoin and I want to move it and it is asking for £28 network fee. Why should people bother having it. I can't wait to get rid of it when the fee is low.
The network fee only goes up when the volume of transactions go up and that is norma with anything. With more demand comes scarcity which means that there is going to be   harder time with using the coins. Bitcoin is far from useless and it is the coin that makes it possible that we have all of this industry which we can invest in right now.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down Altcoin down on: October 10, 2018, 01:02:25 PM
Is there any relationship between the two?
Whh must the fall of bitcoin after other altcoins?

Yes there is always a relationship between the movement of the coins. All of the coins in the market have gotten their value from the price of bitcoin and when the price of bitcoin moves then the price of all of the altcoins will be moving accordingly with the coin. I think that this is because of the trading pairs that exists between the coins.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: October 09, 2018, 12:52:14 PM
The fact that I have seen bear markets before and know that with every bull market there is a new all time high that comes with the coin. I know that as long as I am holding the coins now that I am going to make more money from the coin in the long run and that is what keeps me motivated to keep holding my coins. It is not an exact science but it is a good one
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: October 09, 2018, 12:46:21 PM
Dear investor!
I have never invested in any ICO. I saw that most of the token / coin after being list on exchange was depreciated by more than 50%. Are you disappointed or all of that is in your plan ?
Thank you!

You always have to factor in the fact that there is every possibility for the price of a coin to go down after they hit the exchanges, that is what happens with almost all of the coins after they are done with icos and they get listed so yes that is in the plan. But as more people start to invest and trade in the coin, the price goes up and that is when you make your money
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 5 coins under a $0.50 on: October 09, 2018, 12:41:38 PM
Doge
ADA
Ripple
Linda
Tron
These are coins that are still very cheap now and they are all under fifty cents so investing in the coins will not be a problem for you. What made me lists the coins too is that they are very important and these are projects that have the most potential to do well in the long run so you will have no problem when you invest in the coins.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: October 08, 2018, 01:26:11 PM
Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs?

You should definitely invest in it if you don't want to end up hating yourself for not investing in the coins now when you see the next bull market roll around. It is even better for you to invest in the coins now when the entire market is down, the coins are cheap and you can buy a good amount of the coins for very cheap at this time now that everything is in the red.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 08, 2018, 01:12:31 PM
It is not good for anyone to do kyc for airdrops, that is like selling your entire identity for a couple of bucks. Might as well just go on the dark web and sell it for more money by yourself. Any project that asks you to do kyc to get their airdrops is obviously a scam that you should be staying away from no matter what they are offering you for it.
