And yet, I am considering selling some gold for BTC.

What I am puzzling with : would it make sense to convert part of my gold stack into BTC ( when the lower bottom is reached) ? And if yes, how to sell directly to BTC.

Can you have both a Moon BTC and a Moon LTC account?
Yup of course! Just enter the same email that was used for your CoinPot account Aha, now you can sign up to Moon with your E-mail and be coupled to coinpot? Because I was on Moon bitcoin with my E-mail and I had to abandon that to get rid of the xapo connection. So now my Moon Bitcoin account is linked to a bitcoin address and is managed by Coinpot as a separate entitiy. Although on my profile it shows all three faucets, (Moon, Bonus and BitFun) as belonging to me. I tried to merge them, but doesn 't work because I use Freebitco to collect all faucet revenues.

It still did not fall thru the 2200USD. And there is a broker here (Bitonic) who displays how much BTC they have in stock. And that is not more than average. For what it is worth of course.

Since this is the speculation thread, do you guys think we will get to 2600 again before august? Lost and made some money, still need a bit more to break even again.
Bro, I'll heartedly advice you not to play in such a volatile market as crypto is. Unless you're a full skilled trader from stock markets. BTC is king and will win the final battle against fiat. Soon things will be like that: You are completely right, I'm definitely not a skilled trader yet, just been lurking for some time I am just playing with around 2k, and I only buy in trends + when I see clear candle patterns and with the info from this website and telegram. So most of the time I only make "safe" (I know it is almost never safe") trades. But then I discovered leverage trades, made some good money, adrenaline was pumping, got overconfident (also the drinks did not help) went long just as it was turning (Still have no idea where my logic went). I am aspiring to become a full skilled stock trader, BTC just happened to come on my path and with little money you could still easily make a couple of 100 bucks. Also the idea of using it as long term savings account looked great since in Holland I get less then 1% growth in a year... Also since the laws for bitcoins are still in a grey area you can do a lot of fun things with it (currently writing a coin buying and investing website with ideal support for a select amount of people). The API's in general are funt to work with as a programmer so it gives me some incentive to work. As soon as I get that website up and running and have some more funds I'll start opening up a proper broker account and reading into where to start there... This is getting a bit off topic but any suggestions on where I can start even with a low amount off funds. Probably best not to post it here. TLDR; Lost all my earnings and a chunk of my 2k due too leverage and intoxicated, slowly getting it back. Also do want to get into normal better to buy as the price goes down and sell as the price goes up, but don't buy or sell too much in order that you do not run out of either bitcoins (on the way up) or fiat (on the way down). So in that regard, if you only have bitcoins because you used all your fiat to buy at a price that is higher than the current price, then you just have to wait it out for however much time it takes to return to you purchase price level, even if it takes a year or two. In the meantime, if BTC prices continue to go down, which surely is possible, just continue to buy $10 per week (or whatever reasonable amount is in your budget), and sooner or later, you continue to bring down your average cost per BTC and you will be back in the the game and be able to sell some of your bitcoins either below $2600 or above $2600 (but as long as you are selling as the price goes up and buying as the price goes down, you should be good), and whenever BTC returns to that $2600 level (whether this week or a few years from now), you will be fully back... and hopefully learned some lessons along the way...hahahahaha ^ This! Lol, yeah also my tactics. But I am running into a strategic flaw now : not enough fiat to keep buying the dips... .

How to get a living? Share your BTC address
Humm, I think I see a gigantic business opportunity in tattoos for a certain occupation... . You're about 4 years late with that thought, it's already been done. I won't link it, just google image search "girl bitcoin tattoo" and you'll see the image. Although most believe it's photoshopped. I am definitely late on this one, indeed. And that for someone who is known for always being far ahead... . In my own domain only for sure... . And that sideway thing, looking at it for a few weeks now, I would call it "Drunkways" it goes up, down but as it continues it 's more and more down.

So to view this practical :
1. Move all my coins that are trailing left and right in different locations to my Electrum wallet, let 's say by July 28 at last to avoid getting caught in traffic jams.
2. Are there actions to be taken towards the Electrum Wallet, like updates or back ups etcetera? I keep mine already on two different computers.
3. Wheater the storm out and wait for follow up instructions.

"Jihan Wu, Bitmain CEO, already opined that he will hard fork regardless of whether UASF succeeds or fails. It is not guaranteed that a hard fork could happen without issues, but this is the best time from their perspective to attempt one. Should it succeed, Bitcoin will quickly erase all prior losses and surpass $3,000. "
So the market will be delighted that a handful of Chinese miners are in full control of Bitcoin?
That's a really fucking stupid supposition. [/quote]
What if it is the intention to have a Chinese Bitcoin? Remember, the astronomic premiums Chinese and Koreans paid to get BTC when it was already ATH?

Effective, that is the problem. That is of course because you don 't know what address Freebitco uses, before you effectively make the transaction. That is why I sent the the link to their support mail. Grts exactly. the whole reason that coinpot ask you to send the deposit FROM your address is so that this is proof that you own that address. freebitco do not own your address - so they cannot possibly send money from it. do you see the mistake you have made now? sorry i doubt that coinpot support will be able to help you with it - at least the deposit has gone into your coinpot account so you havent lost it Well, in that case nothing changes from before. But it is a bit a strange procedure for confirmation. Especially since they show both (Moonbit and Bonuscoin) as belonging to me on my Coinpot profile. And my withdrawals both from Moonbit and Bonusbit always go to the same address. Greets and thanks

On Thursday 6th I tried to merge the Bonus and Moon accounts in the Pot and I made the verification payment they ask in the instructions. (0.00030000). So far nothing has happened. So this morning I send them a mail. Will see what happens next...
My deposit arrived in the pot, under my account linked to Bonus. But my Moon still is not merged... . And E-mail and PM unanswered so far... . did you send the deposit FROM the address you want to merge? it will only get merged/linked if the deposit was actually FROM the address you want to merge/link - thats the whole point of this Yes I did. I use the Freebitco wallet for collecting all the dust I hoover up... . And I sent the mail with the confirmation to Pot service... . It is always the same address I use, as well for Moo as for Bonus as for Pot. Sending back to freebitco the deposit, combined with the balance of Bonus, went perfect. For me it is interesting to have the two revenue flows combined, so the 50K balance is reached faster. And in Freebitco it collects a little interest. i dont understand all of what you have written there, sorry. what is the address you sent the deposit to I sent the requested payment from my Freebitco address to the address given by Coinpot. The freebitco address is the address I use for all interactions with faucets. It did effectively arrive in my Coinpot account. But the Moonbit and Bounusbitcoin accounts still are separate, where the goal of the operation was them to merge in one Coinpot account. Better ?

CWM is barely 22 days old and they've already "stolen" 2 BTC, changed their rules and effectively quintupled the withdrawal limit for people unwilling to deposit.
2BTC accident bugs me a lot, you can't really trust a person who just ignores the disappearance of 2BTC, without any comments or attempts to explain that. I don't really have a problem with that particular change in rules, I mean, they are still here, go and claim, especially since you are claiming somewhere else every 5 minutes anyway. Ok, I won't be repeating myself here. what will happens next? we will find out soon. From my experience, it goes like this : many people are tempted and invest in it. The free part is the teaser, as is the social media and also this thread. By doing so it creates a general feel good with the customers (that is what we are). Announcing changes of the rules goes via social media, not on the storefront. And so it goes unremarked at first. Then they rip one or two paying customers, knowing that their complaints will be drowned in disbelief by the sheeple. And then suddenly everything disappears overnight... . Now for me, no problem I am still busy building up to my Mars planet, Lol, I hope to get on Mars (and back with some revenue) before it goes into black hole... . And then all those that paid for it and did not ROI will weep and that is the largest part. I would like to know where this business is registered, I have a suspicion I think I know where... .

If the sort of dystopian, hyper-inflationary future that gold bugs predict actually happens, it seems likely to me that there will be jackbooted thugs kicking down their doors to take their gold. This has happened before, even in the US.
If they want to steal my bitcoins, they'd better be able to crack SHA-256.
Do you hear me make dystopian predictions? And look, the confusion in BTC universe is also driven by greed... . It 's the nature of the beast, no matter the evironment.
