Da war diese Flut in Sichuan, das hat den Effekt gedämpft. Deswegen jetzt dieser Gummibandeffekt. Da haben Ankäufer für Schrottgeräte 1/10tel des Anschaffungspreises geboten. Gab Bilder hier im Thread. Diese Recyclinggeräte gehen auch irgendwann wieder ans Netz. Diese Kosten für Verschleiss, für Strom und für Maintenance ... wer bezahlt das eigentlich? Die Miner, wer sonst? Wenn das so weiter geht dann "kicken" die großen Miner mit ihren günstigen Strompreis alle andere Miner vom Markt, irgendwann wirds nur noch Bitmain, Canaan und einige größere Miner geben - denn die machen dann vielleicht mit den Strompreis noch sehr wenig Gewinn, kontrollieren aber das komplette Mining. Ein hoch auf ASIC mining Da lobe ich mir die Monero devs, welche durch die Codeänderung das minen mit ASIC's zur Zeit nicht möglich machen. Ich bin mir sicher das Bitmain & Co. bereits selbst Kraftwerke betreiben, das bewegt sich schon auf einem ganz anderen Level.
Einzige alternative wäre das wir durch Regulierungen (Luxemburg?) oder/und größeren anderen Firmen mit eigenen Kraftwerken/Standorten dagegenhalten, aber am Ende wird kaum ein kleiner Miner noch Bitcoin minen können, zumindest nicht ohne Verlust.
Bekannter Standort: Mongolei. Demnächst: Texas. Es dürfte unmöglich sein in irgendeinem Land der Welt im Bereich der Energiegewinnung selbstständig zu sein. Das fängt schon bei den Solar Rebellen mit ihren Balkonmodulen an. In China geht das bestimmt nicht (Kommunisten) und in Texas erst recht nicht (Army, wer auch nur versucht sein eigenes Erdöl nicht gegenüber dem Petrodollar zu handeln dessen Land wird zerbombt). Da halten alle Länder einen Daumen drauf, einige Länder halten sogar auf andere Länder ihren Daumen drauf. Nein, die haben keine eigenen Kraftwerke. Die haben aber mit Sicherheit gute Schmiergeldbeziehungen zu lokalen Behörden u. Entscheidern in diesem Umfeld. Und eine hohe Beweglichkeit was Standortverlagerungen angeht. Das ist das Druckmittel, dann trocknet der Schmiergeldzufluss aus äääääh meinte dann verliert die Region Arbeitsplätze, ja genau ich wollte auf die Arbeitsplätze hinweisen. PS: Stromsubventionen und dann Siemens ASICS? Klingt so widersprüchlich wie Telekom und Breitband. Erst einmal müssen die Kartoffelbauern wegen der Dürre höhere Agrarsubventionen abbekommen. Dann können wir hierzulande über Fussballweltmeisterschaft oder Hochtechnologie reden. Haaahhaaaahhaaaaa  Köstlich, bitte nicht zu vergessen, daß die "Regulierungen" (Erpressungen) in den einzelnen Ländern doch noch garnicht so weit fortgeschritten ist, wie bei Banken, deren Stromverbrauch in die Potenzen geht gegenüber denen von Bitcoin, aber egal Spannend finde ich dann das mining wenn du keinen Blockreward mehr bekommst, sondern nur mehr von den fees leben musst, da wird's dann lustig |

Accelerated recovery modelIf you believe in an accelerated 2018 recovery (which I don't) then arguably we should be tracking the light blue line. Light green line shows our current performance. It's not completely out of the question however. And nothing would make me happier than to be wrong on this point. We need to jump to $9k. Squeeze fuel would be one way to get there, which means a clean break of the current down trend line requiring a price of about $7500 (downtrend line currently sitting ~$7400). This is more then 3 months old article. You would already seen effects of it on it's price. But it is actually hard to see since the whole cryptomarket is in bearish move atm. Anyway I think until we are down to 2-3 exchanges there is nothing to worry about. P.S. I have seen that there is some kind of community activation on Bisq ( https://bisq.network/ -decentralized exchange). They trade XMR-BTC (I think) pair there on Mondays. So if anyone is interested they can join them. I think they've made over 100k of volume one day. Especially if you know what most of the crypto currency "enthusiast" are about (quick, simple money). So no wonder Monero's community was the first to use it properly. P.S. in general, 99.66 dollars are quite good prospects for the Monero. Especially today, the coin shows a 16% increase, which is the best market indicator.
