801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember: Dogecoin [DOGE] is not capped! on: May 09, 2021, 02:24:12 PM
I really like Dogecoin but honestly, it is extremely overpriced right now because we should not forget a fact:
Dogecoin needs to solve a big problem: it is uncapped currently. Dogecoin has no capped supply like Bitcoin, it has infititive supply!

If DOGE solves infinite supply problem, Dogecoin can reach very high prices, but right now, Dogecoin is way overpriced because it has no cap!

Just remember always regarding the purpose why Dogecoin is created it is only a meme coin and that's the reality let us stick to that point as a reference so that we will not be lost, now the question is pointing about the infinite supply for me its no sense at all because in the very beginning it is only a joke coin and today's price is also a joke and if we are not aware of the situation our money will be burn because it was all base on the hype no solid demand and only controlled by few wallets that's why the risk is pretty high compared to other shitty cryptocurrencies out there. so beware don't let yourself drown with Dogecoin. if you want to invest just a minimal amount that you can afford to lose.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: May 08, 2021, 03:14:23 PM
Hi Smiley I'm new to the crypto space. I'm looking at the ETH graph and I'm unsure if I should buy now. But its at an all time high, and I was taught to buy low sell high. I really don't want to be a sheep, but what if the price keeps going up? Should I just wait for it to go down and just buy the dip?

IMHO, I think you should be the one who decides on that matter because It seems that you are doubting about the result, It's your money that's why your own judgment is much needed. And regarding eth price today, its no doubt that the previous all-time highs were already broken because the Ethereum price is uncertain; maybe it will go up or go down we don't know yet thats why the risk is very high at this point. base on that reality you will be the only one who can pull the trigger. But just remember the old saying "invest only that you can afford to lose"
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: May 08, 2021, 02:36:56 PM
I think Elon Musk can fit in both worlds because we know that Elon is popular in both topics, whether it is crypto or tech company, While Tesla and SpaceX are just a part of Elon Musk's Bigger real-world empire of technologically advance businesses because of that IMO, Elon can be fit anywhere because of his popularity. he is capable to hype anything and put the topic on the mainstream that was the power of popularity and money and Elon Musk has possessed both.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammers have a hard time with grammar on: May 07, 2021, 01:55:35 PM
I remember when I was a noob in crypto Wayback 2015 many of such HYIP website has been created and even me has become a victim of that scheme during that time Bitcoin was just worth $268 per BTC and that amount is not that big that's why we can afford to deposit bitcoin easily and I also notice those wrong grammar and wrong spellings are already recorded since then so its not new to me. scammers and con artists are everywhere. thats why never let your guards down.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap vs Chainlink on: May 06, 2021, 03:24:47 PM
Uniswap and chainlink does worth to invest. But which one is with a better performance?

Until the Ethereum fees problem is not fixed, I will choose ChainLink, Because Uniswap is using the Ethereum Network which is one of the highest transaction fees in the market today for me it's not wise at all. It is a costly platform that's why I better go for BSC which is much cheaper and faster but it is not on the choices that's why I will pick Chainlink for good. that's my opinion about it.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 06, 2021, 03:14:31 PM
Do you think he does it because he wants to make money? Do you think he speculates with Dogecoin?

I am wondering if he will keep tweeting about after the bull market is over.

I don't think so I believe Elon Musk has nothing to do with any Dogecoin holdings his the second richest person on Earth after Jeff Bezos so what's the big deal of holding a speculative coin like Doge I believe it's not about money but it's just a kind idea to test his popularity and influence in the crypto market.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Reason BTC must be so slow? on: May 05, 2021, 02:55:30 PM
I'm not against the use of Bitcoin in fact it was my first known investment coin when I'm entered into the crypto space but if we compared in 2015 and today the Bitcoin has changed a lot not just in the price aspect but also in the two important functions the "transaction cost and the transaction speed" and I think it is not bad to ask the developers to fix or to enhance this primary functions of Bitcoin like it was before, the problem is It's getting worst the more Bitcoin price has skyrocketed the problems have also surface they say that LN was the solution but until now it is not widely used. Is there any hope to make Bitcoin better again just like before or we Bitcoin users are needed to endure this problem and wait until the solution will arrive. just asking Huh
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: May 04, 2021, 05:07:52 PM
I think you heard the last news about the Turkish stock exchange:
https://decrypt.co/68703/billion-dollar-rug-pull-turkish-bitcoin-exchange-goes-dark
Customers fear a rug pull as Turkish crypto exchange Thodex abruptly halted trading.
At any time, money can be blocked for an unknown time.
Recently, I have not been trading on centralized exchanges and have kept as much money there as it’s not a pity to lose

It depends on what kind of centralized exchange because I only trusted the one that I'm using like Binance because I was using it since 2017 when it was launch and until now it never gives me a problem so far and for the sake of safety precautions I never use those unknown crypto exchange for trading and any other purposes. Be wise by choosing only those trusted crypto exchange platforms.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: May 03, 2021, 01:58:55 PM
Based on what I noticed this bull run, the majority of the coins that have a good pump this season are those that are listed in Binance, so I come to the conclusion that we should only invest in coins that are listed in this exchange for us to have a chance to maximize our profit.

What's your take on this, am I right or wrong?

Share your opinion.

Agree with that because I believe Binance won't list a shit project and after that most projects that were listed on Binance is gaining price momentum after it was listed, IMO, I think that the charisma and popularity of Binance is the reason why most of the listed coin/token is gaining price increases after it was listed and that's true because I always followed every new listing announcement on Binance and the pump really happens which is gives me a few bucks of clean profit.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on SafeMoon? on: May 03, 2021, 01:38:59 PM
Looks like vaporware to me, still pretty hard to get hands on it. Why's it blowing it up? I've also seen some very similar posts from scummy youtubers on Twitter, think they're paying them to post about it? idk, reminds a lot of those ICO promises. You guys buying it?

I think Safemoon is not the only project that doing everything to shill its token if you carefully examine many projects that was also riding in this crypto boom mostly found it on much cheaper network fees like BSC some projects are mooning while others are also struggling to survive, by the way, I can say that I used to buy and ride some of it, with a project that has a huge token supply and after I see that I was gaining some few bucks I immediately sold it for a clean profit no regrets.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is once again going through a hard fork? on: May 02, 2021, 03:15:14 PM
I came across a news about Etherlite, a hard fork of Ethereum. Has anyone also heard the news? I have read several articles about it but it seems it is not widely discussed here, not even mentioned in the ANN thread of Ethereum.

In fact, the Mainnet has just been launched today. But it seems it is not a big deal at all. Is this another useless hard fork or is this hard fork directed towards a goal which would really improve the network?

I want to hear the opinions of the expert on this.

Another Hard fork again? It seems that it is never-ending cycles of these easy money copycats scheme, (Only if that hard fork will be resulting in a new coin) I can say that it's another ride-on with the current Ethereum issue's which is an expensive transaction fee and slower network. But if the hard fork was intended to improve the Network functions will I believe there's nothing wrong with it. By the way, I think the transaction fee is already gone down as I wrote this reply the current gas fee was at 49-51 Gwie which is I think cheaper compared to the previous weeks.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Token (ERC20) to Binance Smart Chain (BEP20) on: April 30, 2021, 12:34:58 PM
Dear friends, can we send ERC20 tokens to the BSC wallet address (BEP20). I see that the BSC wallet address with Ethereum (ERC20) is the same. What if we use it to reduce transaction costs. Huh

No, not really because I was already done that accidentally in the Binance wallet and it was not shown on the BSC Network address, But we can indeed use the same address if the wallet has supported both BSC and ERC20 of Ethereum Network Its a small amount only that's why I don't bother to recover it anymore because Binance already warned that it will be lost if it was sent to the wrong network.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: George Residence becomes first hotel to accept Bitcoin in Nigeria on: April 29, 2021, 04:57:47 PM
IMHO, I think that was a positive development in Nigeria crypto space lately Because in the previous information Nigeria's Central Bank is very vocal and against the proliferation of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies so I'm wondering how the George Residences will manage those Bitcoin payments when they cant exchange them to the Nigerian local currency through banks, anyway the P2P or other private means of exchange are still possible in Nigeria but I don't think it can handle a large transaction without any banks involved. It is a complicated problem that needs to be resolved.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tokyo-Based Game Maker Nexon Purchased $100M in Bitcoin on: April 28, 2021, 04:27:56 PM
Nexon has announced that it has purchased about 1,717 Bitcoin (BTC) for $100 million. In addition, Nexon is a Tokyo-based video game maker that becomes the latest publicly listed technology firm in Japan.
whats ur thought on this..?
Read more on Tokyo-Based Game Maker Nexon Purchased $100M in Bitcoin

Wow, that was huge money 100 million dollars? Well, it can mean a lot in the crypto market, truly Bitcoin adoption in the mainstream is happening now although it was slower, but I'm sure it will continue to be adopted. by the way, after Nexon what's next, I believe that it's more to come that's why the market is rising again after the dip in the previous days. hopefully, it will happen.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Portfolio allocation on: April 28, 2021, 02:13:17 PM
Being new to cypto i'm not sure how my coin allocation should look. My current portfolio allocation is 50% BTC, 35% LTC, 15% ETH does this sound ok?

IMHO, I think your portfolio was good already because all coins that you choose like Btc Ltc and Eth are the top-ranking coins that's why it is a good coin to hold and invest in. And for me, it was already a good choice. anyway, about holding 50% of BTC in the portfolio, will I think there's nothing wrong with it as long as you know what you are doing and because it is your own Portfolio that's why you can do whatever your want.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new funny/joke coin on: April 27, 2021, 03:53:13 PM
I am going to issue a coin that can only be mined with a graphics card, No ASIC.which will be forked from Ethereum.
The total supply is 210 billion.  block time will be 5s,for more efficiency.
and 1% will be premined for #airdrop and promotions, and will be unlocked in 10 years.
I am going to follow the Dogecoin route, start fairly, have no profit goals, and operate at will. The success or failure lies entirely with the miners. In order to lower the mining threshold, ASIC mining is prohibited in the algorithm.
maybe I will name it as Shitcoin-SHIT.
Do you have any more good ideas?

Is it really a joke? or you are dead serious to launch it, If yes then you should launch it immediately when the market for meme coin is hot and burning, and let's see how it will perform. shitcoin name is already taken so I have a good suggestion you can name it a Bull**** coin or Ass*** coin those names incorporate how shit it is. Just my opinion bro don't take it seriously;D
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: April 27, 2021, 03:16:26 PM
Dogecoin is a coin without team and core technology, but Musk made it appear in the general public. Many people who are not cryptocurrency traders are buying Dogecoin, just like buying BTC. Why does it succeed? Is it just because of Musk? Dogira, Shibi, HOGE, who will be the next Dogecoin?

Or is there only only one unique Dogecoin?

IMHO, I believe Elon's Musk tweet has also a contributing factor to all meme coin pump, Because we all know how influential he is, and the crypto market is also working this way meaning it can easily react to any information whether it's bad or good and because Elon Musk is a successful Businessman many investors mostly risk-takers have to considered it as an advice and willing to gamble in the name of profit, just because it was came from one of the worlds richest person. But it is just my opinion and I'm not sure about it.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC still wants XRP so badly on: April 26, 2021, 11:06:04 AM
U.S SEC don't plan on letting XRP escape it's grab, maybe probably they are XRP winning? Maybe this will be the first time that SEC lose a case? Read the new information surrounding XRP vs SEC that leaves investors trembling in fear

https://cryptoslate.com/ripple-faces-new-hurdle-in-legal-battle-against-the-sec/

Well, what can we expect it is the SEC's job to pursue any case that they have started so in that case XRP was really not off the hook. It's another bad news that's why we can expect a little bit of impact on XRP price and it is already happening now because XRP price was started to dip down. let us see what will be the development of this information in the coming weeks.
819  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning for another scam -Telegram on: April 26, 2021, 09:58:26 AM
Thats too obvious it's a scam attempt, things like that are just become normal nowadays especially that the BTC and most crypto prices are skyrocketed this cheap method of swindling is not new anymore, By the way, where is the logic if you own that huge amount of BTC, and then why you need $100 or $50 dollars for what. just ignore the message that you receive from non familiar person thats simple.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the significance of taking profit on: April 25, 2021, 01:13:11 PM
I believe it was important and should be taken seriously because I'm already experienced that in 2018 When I was aiming for more profit and I didn't consider any possibilities that the market would collapse during that time and I was not able to withdraw my profit instead it has cost me with multiple losses because I was holding several coins and tokens. But now I've already learned my mistakes and get contented with what I have gained.
