801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ◀ PrimeChain | Verify Prime Numbers | LESS THAN 500 COINS CREATED PER DAY ▶ on: October 06, 2015, 01:08:19 PM
Can this coin be mined with P2pool?   Anyone care to share the Network.py files?

Anything that uses batch rpc calls will have issues

Not exactly sure what that means,  Im pretty new at setting up pools.
With that said the pools are for personal use with antminers @ home.  Any suggestions for solo mining?

With all due respect Please don't tell me to just join a pool,  I solo mine Bitcoin with impossible odds.... because I like to ride solo.

What Im hoping for is you will share the config files for the Mpos pool and ill figure out the rest?

If not.....Thanks anyway!

Paul (pjcltd) runs the pool, not me, so you'd have to talk to him about that. I'm sure he will be up fairly soon, it's quite early in the AM where he lives

HI
do you want to run your own pool ?
is not a problem
just let me know what you need i'm very happy to help any one out .

Hello,  Well I only have experiance with running p2p pool.  this is all local for personal use so i was hoping for a kindof ready to use package.  Understandably thats alot to ask for i guess but maybe just any config files i may need to setup a mpos pool on windows?

ok well setup mpos using this guide
https://github.com/MPOS/php-mpos/wiki/Quick-Start-Guide

then get back to me and ill go through the next setups
Dont need to down load the litecoin parts

803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Joincoin (J) ToR Anonymous All Algorithm mining! *1.3 WALLET UPDATE!* on: October 06, 2015, 07:02:40 AM
Any timeline for the accelerated mining plan prior to POS implementation? Thanks in advance

Just to give a brief update:

There is still difficulty in switching to POS; therefore it won't happen.

The only choice now is to continue POW.

It should be fair to have POW reward halving starting from an accelerated relaunch ending in final block rewards of around 0.2 Joincoins after 5-6 halvings.

In any schedules, the halving would be short. We have to end in a fixed reward; otherwise, it will quickly drop to nearly zero. Even at 0.2 Joincoins/block, it is still about equivalent of about 5% annual rate initially.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hopefully, with stable prices and mining profitability, more mining pools will come, to improve the all-algo images of the Joincoin.   Cheesy

I have been following this for a few weeks
and i have mined  J as well
at the moment its a very good coin with its block reward  at 2 J if you start changing that then it won't be profitable to mine sha anymore.

Not sure what your long term plans are for the coin but you could do a 1-1 swap if you do want to go down the POS side of things.

Just my thoughts
you got a very good community here but they all need to speak out more.

Keep up the good work guys I LOVE Joincoin

804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latest iGotSpots scam: PrimeChain (PRIME) on: October 06, 2015, 06:40:57 AM
My friend lost btc and xmg at the gorilla.exchange when it closed and ran off with all the coins.  IGotSpots is definitely a scammer.  I would post negative ratings but because I am just a normal user and only post on this site a few times a month I can't.  I have seen enough scams and have been warned to not invest in any Igotspots coins by many people, none of them being on the list of people he claims are spreading lies about him.  Although he will probably claim that this is a clone account....it is not.  I have never invested in a single one of his coins, but I really don't like him.  He is a bully and a sociopath.  He should be banned from this forum because he makes locked threads which causes new people to be sucked into the scam because they don't realize how bad he really is.  Banning him would cause the next 1000 scam coins he releases to get less publicity.

Hi
can i just correct you about gorilla.exchange
Spots NEVER had access to any of he coins on the exchange  MP-Hosting ran the exchange  not him.
It was closed due to the DDOS attack issues.

I am interested only solo mining of MUE + direct payment on a wallet in real time.
You can tell me where I can begin production so?

P.S.

807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: September 24, 2015, 09:10:24 PM
More evidence of his habitual lies...

Just look at his latest pathetic attempt to somehow play the victim.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1187866

Although its nice to watch him have a cry.

For the record, 3.5 million Prime was mined up on day one by Spots and his buddies, and he's having a much harder time dumping it than his other coins.

He is trying to clear his trust rating so that he can have more success luring noobs in to dump on.

I would invite anyone who has experienced Spots scamming in person to add to his trust rating. Hit him where it clearly hurts.

these fake accounts very wrong plus only 1 million came from mining rest is stake so what retard say is impossible. ignore the fakers like fallout who is known fake name made for only talk shit. review history posts if do not believe 0 accurate post

My wallet has not found a new block for 10 hours. Also has zero active connections.
Wallet worked fine for past 10 days, then have zero connections now. Checked
Bittrex, their wallet seems to be working, last block was 8 minutes ago.
On windows 7/64 bit no blocks downloaded for past 10 hours.

Peace, Dennis

28 active connections here, gimme a few i'll make a list of addnodes if you want, although i'm not using any conf myself :S (on win10 pro 64bit)

Okay, tried adding conf file with no luck. Still zero connections. Not sure what extension I should use.
Tried .txt and .conf neither names in roaming app, seems to work. Had no conf file before, just stopped downloading
new blocks, with zero connections. Nothing in RPC commands allows one to add nodes that way either. Not pinging
to try and find connections either.
Hi I'll help out if I can get connected to your PC with teamviewer?
I'm sure it's something daft

Thanks

sha256 payouts all done

scrypt / x11 payouts  have not run due to they have not found enough blocks to make min sell orders  on bittrex
so they will be carried over to the next shift, this will repeat  till there enough to make the min trade  amount

any problems let me know

Paul has the pool back up and running. Sorry for the downtime
Speaking of the pool, isn't it or something else supposed to start buying from bittrex soon ?

yes it did a load of buy orders on Friday night
and it will be doing more tonight  around 10pm GMT ~

if you look here
http://pool.primechain.website/tbs
at the bottom of the page  you can see each shift  and how many coins it bought.
