1729  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BE blade v2 setup on: January 12, 2014, 03:44:51 PM
Ok I have the proxy installed and running, what settings do I need on the blade. Right now the proxy runs showing constant connecting and disconnecting from btcguild as no client connects. Do I set the port in the first position or the second, do I need to list the servers and the DNS servers or not?

ok lets say that the pc's ip address that the proxy is running on is
192.168.0.52

you need to put this in the line's

Ports:  8332,8332
Server Addresses:
192.168.0.52,192.168.0.52

then click on update
then you should see
more information on the proxy program

1730  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BE blade v2 setup on: January 12, 2014, 02:41:56 PM
Ok I have no trouble accessing the blade menu and it has been set to the range accepted by the router.

I'm having no luck inserting a picture but here's the readout that shows on the screen

Current server:stratum.btcguild.com:3333
Chip:0000000000000000000000000000000000

IP:192.168.1.111
Mask:255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.1.1
Web port:8000
Primary DNS:192.168.250.1
Secondary DNS:216.211.26.15
Ports:3333,3333
Server Addresses:stratum.btcguild.com,eu-stratum.btcguild.com
user:pass:myworker:123,myworker:123

For the gateway I'm using the access address for the router, the primary dns is the address of the modem and the secondary dns is my isp's dns server. Along the bottom this version has 3 options refresh, switch server and update/restart. the numbers at the top relating to performance are all zeros except for the time.

Hi
ok this will not work
you need to run a program call
stratum-proxy
you will need to have that running all the time for you blades to mine on BTCGuild

see this

1731  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Help needed with running multiple slush stratum on one pc on: January 12, 2014, 10:56:35 AM
so I have the option of mining different types of coins at the same time and not be stuck mining one type of coin at a time.

you would be better off
pointing them to one to max the power on one coin
1732  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BE blade v2 setup on: January 12, 2014, 10:49:16 AM
have you setup the Ip address of the V2 blade ?
its default is set to
192.168.1.254

to access the blade you will need to be on the same ip address range

then point your web browser to
192.168.1.254:8000

this should then bring up the V2 blade

when you get the up post a screen shot on here

1733  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Help needed with running multiple slush stratum on one pc on: January 12, 2014, 08:01:13 AM

I have 30 blades running from 1 proxy ?

1740  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: bfgminer stratum proxy on: January 09, 2014, 08:24:59 PM
I'm trying to get my ant miner S1's to work through bfgminer stratum proxy so I can control my pool in one spot rather than connecting to the web interface on each miner.  I start bfgminer with --stratum-port X then set pool 1 appropriately to IP:X on each miner. I have bfgminer configured with eligius as my first pool. The Ants seem to connect and show the pool as "alive." Bfgminer reports eligius as alive. But I get 100% rejects and bfgminer reports 100% HW errors. Ant miners work fine when connected to eligius (or most other pools) directly.

How can I debug (or fix) this? Not much in the way of debug output on the ant miner side.

Hi I have found a way round this
If you go to
Www.tompool.org
And setup an account
It will do the pool swapping for you and it works well
You can setup your own pools that you want to mine
and it will move your miners to the most profitable one
For you.
