801  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SWC POKER IS A SCAM! on: November 11, 2023, 01:09:46 AM
Are you guys shills for them? Of course I didn't take screenshots, I trusted them. What on earth would I possibly have to gain from this? They have made it clear they are not returning anything to me, and what little I had left I transferred to a random player. Don't wish to play on a scam site anymore. There are tons of sites out there, why play here.

And even if you believe I didn't lose or just lost by poor play, the site is full of bots and regs and it terrible to recs and people that don't live on a computer waiting for a fish to come by (of wish there are so few of most must be associated with the site). The only reason I played there is my country outlaws nearly all sites except them for whatever reason.

"It isn't a scam post". I'm not looking for anything from you guys. Kindly change that...
While anyone is allowed to have an opinion, you should at least provide proof of your claims if you're going to defame a site. If you just wanted to make a post trying to hurt a reputation, you could at least lock the thread once your done spewing your nonsense.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad reality: some countries gamble more than they can afford on: November 10, 2023, 11:14:28 PM
People focus a lot on knowing things like: how many gambling addicts there are, how many people play, how much money they take to play and when they see the numbers they immediately complain because they are seeing a very high number. but if you also research things like: how many people are addicted to alcohol, how many people consume beer, how much money is being spent to buy beer, you will also see that the number is very high, but no one complains about it! My point is that if someone is advertising a casino, and they keep researching the numbers of things like how much money is being spent in the casinos and when they discover that the numbers are very high, they complain

So what's the point of someone also playing and advertising a casino? people are of legal age, they know that there are things they should do and others they shouldn't do, so it's not the job of people like us to worry about how many people are addicted to gambling, how much money they spend on gambling. bad luck. The task of someone who is promoting a company is to speak well of the things that company is offering as long as everything is legal. It's up to people to do research and then make decisions on their own. I particularly see a lot of people playing in my country, the game is legal here and the government wastes no time in advertising for people to stop playing, because the law allows games and the law also determines that people over 18 years of age age are adults

are responsible for themselves, because let's see things this way: if in a country they say that in total 200 million dollars were gambled, for example, that means that the government received money from taxes, that means that the casino created jobs, that means that the casino also promoted tourism in the case of physical casinos, this also means that some people left with profits, even if it was a small number of people who made a profit, it was still a lot. because the profit from these people could make them people who do business, create jobs and pay taxes. In other words, the casino is also doing a lot of good things and you should also start talking about these good things that casinos do
Well the reason we aren't seeing anything about how many ppl buy beer and how much money is spent is because there is no sig campaign asking people to post in a beer section. Since most sig campaigns are asking  users to post in gambling sections people make many poor topics to get a conversation going.

What you say is correct nonetheless.

Another question I have is how much of this money that Greeks lost each year from 1 or 2 individuals? Maybe a small group of very rich people had a bad couple years?

Governments aren't going to do alot to stop gambling normally because of the amount of revenue it brings to the country. Should they? Probably to some extent yes, but usually not the case.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad reality: some countries gamble more than they can afford on: November 10, 2023, 08:05:38 PM
Why does it have to be about poor countries? If a country is rich its ok for its citizens to lose a bunch of money?

You as a person decide whether to gamble or not to gamble. The country IMO has nothing to do with it. Even if the country restricted or limited gambling, there are still ways people would gamble so you really cannot blame it all on the government.

At some point people have to be responsible for their own actions man. Can't just always think someone else is at fault.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 10, 2023, 03:14:32 PM
I’m staying away from the bets today. The Bucks haven’t been playing great and the odds aren’t there to bet either side. Sometimes the best way to win is to not play. With Dame shooting terribly and Giannis seemingly having his issues with the change of PG I don’t feel confident they can win every night regardless of their opponent.
Yeah, that's true.
But still, I am betting for the Milwaukee Bucks here and I am just waiting for the line to open in Stake.com. I don't know why it's not available yet, the game is half an hour away before it starts.

Only two games today. Yeah, after 14 games yesterday, that should be the case. Grin
I like the low handicap given to bet for the Atlanta Hawks.
Orlando Magic - Atlanta Hawks - Atlanta Hawks (-1.5)

With so many injuries in Orlando Magic that should not be the case. Gary Harris is out, and Markelle Fultz is questionable. Without Wendell Carter too as he will undergo surgery.
Atlanta Hawks should win this one with low resistance unless they will have a bad shooting night at Orlando's home crowd.

Good luck everyone.

Edit: Now available but handicaps are not yet set.
Indiana Pacers - Milwaukee Bucks - Milwaukee Bucks ML @1.92
The line opened at Bucks -3.5 a few days before the game and by the time the game started had moved all the way to Bucks -1.5. Looks like lots of money came in on the Pacers. I unfortunately took the Bucks moneyline mixed with the Bears under and lost my little parlay when the Bucks lost by 2.

The Final Spreadsheet has been added to the OP. The team should be sending tokens to everyone within the week. I was told 11/11 so let's see what happens.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 09, 2023, 02:16:44 PM
The first game features the Bucks versus the Pacers. Both teams are playing on a back-to-back, but the Bucks have to travel for this road game. The Pacers are the underdogs with a +3 handicap, but the Pacers has been playing pretty well with a strong offense, scoring 134 points against Utah and a whopping 152 points against the Spurs. I know the Bucks are a tough team, but I like the handicap here, giving +3 to the home team. I hope it's a close game, even if the Bucks end up winning.

As for the second game, I'll pass on that one for now, but if Pacers lose, I might consider betting.  Smiley
As much as I like the Pacers, I don't see them being very competitive against the Bucks. Dame and Giannis will have great games and the Pacers youngsters are gonna have a tough challenge. They are a great young team and I think playoffs will happen for the Pacers this year, but tonight they prob cool off a little.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 09, 2023, 05:59:43 AM
I cannot consider Andre a top-level fighter even if he has more wins and more knockouts than Jake Paul all his opponents are level C fighters and two of them just debuted and one of the fighters he KO   Jeremie Parks has this record 6 25 3, imagine this guy loss 25 times I don't think this Andre can be considered a Polish fighter than Jake Paul, Paul wants to take his boxing seriously but he's fighting level who he can easily beat.
If he wants the boxing community to take him seriously why not fight fighters who are in the top 15 so he can rank up if he beat these kinds of fighters.
Exactly why I say he is giving boxing a bad name. He's not paying his dues and working his way up in the rankings. I'm not saying his fights aren't semi entertaining, I'm saying he is not going about it the right way. He shouldn't get any sort of title shot because of his celebrity and record against non ranked opponents.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 09, 2023, 04:47:31 AM

Paul is making boxing a joke, no one ever heard of Andre August til he announced this fight. For all we know he just paid this guy in advance $50.000 to sleep whenever he do his signature move.
While I agree that both the Paul's are giving boxing a bad name, someone must be enjoying watching cause they do ok in the PPV market. It's really no different than McGregor and Mayweather, people found a way to get paid with some popular figures going at it. The only way it stops is if people stop paying for it, but thats not going to happen.

The bounty is now over, I will get everything graded over the next day or 2 and get the final sheet to the team. They will be responsible for distribution. Thanks to everyone who participated and i'll see you all next time.
811  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Aviator platform on: November 09, 2023, 12:06:40 AM
I thought "aviator game" was a new type of gambling game, but it turns out it is just another crash game.

anyway, just curious, do you own the review website? if you do, it would be better to post an ANN thread about your website instead of just creating a thread and pointing us to just one gambling site.
I would guess that this person does not own the site if they are asking for other recommendations.

@OP if you are looking for decent crash types games bustabit and moneypot are 2 of the better sites for crash.

815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 06, 2023, 05:12:01 AM
Whenever I am low on cash on the casino I play which includes a sport book I like to copy other people bets, usually parlays with odds over 1000 and I think to myself who cares if I play for example 50 bets copying other people with 200 IDR as my base bet,if any of these guys hits it big I will do to.Notice that I put 1000 as a minimum here but the reality is that I have been copying bets with over 700.000 as odds,I damn love these huge multipliers yet no one has got such one in sport betting.

Of course in here it is not about skill or luck games anymore but it is about destiny,so tell me how many of you are deceived by dreams that may change your destiny like I am  Grin?
If you aren't risking a large amount of money following these people hoping to get lucky and also not hurting yourself or your family financially, then a little fun isn't a bad thing. Obviously you already can see the odds are low that you will win, but if you hit once over 100 tries, you'll come out way ahead.

I don't do this personally, but i have played on Moneypot and followed a bettor. When they cash out the script cashes you out as well. Neat built in script they have if you like playing crash.

The journey of bitcointalk is a journey of gradual process, when you look around you will see that may has registered in the bitcointalk and their are unable to achieve any milestone in bitcointalk because of challenges, I thank almighty for me to reach members rank after all challenges I faced both sickness and losing my phone, the one of losing my phone is the one that  would have discouraged me mostly from bitcointalk, but I insisted and continued using my sisters phone to login my account in forum

Today I'm a member and I'm excited to see myself to this rank, I will stand to celebrate another milestone in the forum which I know very well,  so when I looked at my ranked up I get more courage, I want to everyone to not lose hope in what they are doing, because their is some things that will stand as obstacles when you want to know what you don't

I stand in this precious time to congratulate myself for achieving my first milestone despite that theirs many milestones to achieve but at least I have counted 1 and others shall be achieve later
Sometimes facing challenges depends on the actions you are taking while on the forum. As I see this is a ranked up post I would say that the challenges you speak of might be gaining merit. While I feel that users are sometimes overlooked when it comes to merit, I think for the most part those that put in actual effort are noticed. If you post mostly bounties, or i agree with blah blah posts, or other low quality activities you will not get many merits. A little bit of effort and a lot of reading will go a long way on this forum.

Anyways, congrats on the member rank. Maybe the challenges won't be as bad on the full member journey.
I commend you for your advice, you know forum is not something we learn once you can learn forum with three years space and yet you haven't understand anything in the forum, sometimes it depends on your engagement in the forum that will boost your understanding.

For the challenging aspect, I may reach full member and I still have a challenge,, the challenge I'm talking is not about forum ranking is about phone I do use to login my forum account,  I use phone not my  a laptop, right now I'm using different phones to  login when I have  the opportunity to borrow from people I know.
Thanks sir I have seen that you are a reputable and respected person in the forum, I think people of my level need your advice to move on in the forum
I use my mobile a few times a day to login, but it is mine. If you have to borrow someone elses phone to login from time to time, that would be a major issue. Look around and start doing campaigns that accept your rank. Whether that be signature campaign, review campaign, art contests, or whatever you can find. Earn enough btc to buy a cheap phone so that you don't have to borrow anymore. After that, just gotta make enough weekly to pay for internet and whatever other needs you may have.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 06, 2023, 03:26:46 AM
I'm just curious and would like to get the consensus of the community, should casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure, we can't deny that the gambling addiction percentage is very high in this generation,

I just stumbled one site about gambling addiction it's a free help for those addicted to gambling, there are many more related sites and facilities.
Do you think it is the obligation of casinos online or offline?

It is casinos' way to repay those who put in a lot of money and get addicted or they shouldn't care because it's the gamblers' initiative to play.
As a casino, you want to give the impression to people that you care and that they matter. In the end we all know that the casino really only cares about making money. Every promotion they do is geared around getting people in the door. You can't blame them, it's a business and businesses have ti make money.

As far as sponsoring addiction sites, should they be required to? No, but a lot might be interested so that they look good in the eyes of the public.

819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 07:14:15 PM
I'd like to ask the community I have a newly moved neighbor he is a widowed senior citizen and he lives alone with a house helper, all his children are now professionals and he is a pensioner, we talked a lot about many things  I just noticed that he is very active on online casinos and other gambling activities like lotto and cock fighting every weekend, his children do not know his activities and I'm afraid he is getting addicted.

Should I give him advice on how to manage his gambling activities or I just let him since he is just enjoying his senior years and doing things that he missed doing when he was still young? and what's the right approach, we all know senior citizens are sensitive to criticism.

Unless you see him playing with large amounts of money that you know he cannot afford, just let him be. Monitor whenever you can to see if he's being responsible. Just because someone is gambling, doesn't mean they are addicted or going too far.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Out of curiosity, how much you wagered recently? on: November 05, 2023, 08:05:34 AM
This dude is a sponsored streamer and his wagers do not count towards most promotions I do believe. I'm not 100% sure on that, but it would be a clear disadvantage to others in a wagering contest to be fighting against house money.

Regardless, you would still have to have a decent bankroll to compete in the contests or have 1 hell of a wager strategy if you wanted to win a wager contest. I personally do not even wager $5000 a week. Normally closer to $1000.
