801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: July 24, 2023, 11:41:58 PM
I was in argument with someone. His view is that people who gamble are those that what they have is not sufficient for them and so they try to make more money from gambling. He said if you have sufficient money to take care of your needs that you won't think of gambling. He made reference to some rich people, who don't gamble because they have sufficient money to even gift to charity but that those rich who still gamble are only addicted to it not just because of the money. Therefore, that the percentage of the rich gambling is very small compared to those in middle class and lower class.

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?
There's no precise or accurate numbers on this one because there's no such thing about tallying on whose people that are rich or middle class or poor who had been playing and there's no way on knowing that but

somewhat we could be able to tell basing up on how they do bet up because rich people are the ones who would really be having those enormous wagering counts compared to those typical average gamblers who do really bet out a few bucks on their gambling activity. Speaking about the reason on why people gamble? It would be a personal thing but it would be coming on different variations on which it would really be just that
common that they would really be neither because of gambling addiction or would be solely just because they do make gambling as a source of income.

Each person does have their different set of interest in life and financial capacity and this is why reasoning would really be entirely be different to each other and this is why we cant really make out
some conclusive approach in between numbers.
802  Economy / Speculation / Re: $30000 is becoming the resistant price on: July 24, 2023, 10:44:40 PM
Yes this was very similar to what happened in 2018. We chopped for months and went no where. Even after summer ended we still didn’t get a strong trend until November time. Catalyst for that dump was the entire Bitcoin sv and Bitcoin cash debates.

So most likely this time around we need something similar. We either will get some massive fud or something positive like an etf approval which will get us out of this tight trading range.
Im just really waiting for some news or whatsoever because the market is really that too silent or having no noise recently on which im not saying that it would be relevant on relying with these factors but we do know

that news and fundamentals could really make out such impact, not all the time but at least it does really have that relevance on which it is something that we could look at and basing up our position decisions.
Now that we are hovering and playing around on 30k price point then we could really assume out that this current price would really be the toughest resistance that we do need to break before we could proceed out
on higher price but of course since we are still approaching on next halving then i would assume out that this is really the main event that the market would be waiting
before we could make out some significant movement towards the price but well its always recommended on expecting something which is something that it is unexpected.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could XRP win in SEC case be a start for next bull run? on: July 24, 2023, 09:36:52 PM
Bear markets are influenced by negative events, while the other way around for bull, both depending on significant 'base' event, paving way for further.

I believe this xrp ruling could be start of the next bull run, and we will be seeing positive events from now on. Halving is also coming which should propel up the market as well. What do you think?
Yes i am agree with you bear market are influenced by Negative events so bull market will happen through positive events. I think XRP win with SEC it is also big positive news. And it has big possibility for bull market i strongly believe it.
Arent you aware that this had already been known about the result about SEC vs XRP?
Although this is just partial but still a positive thing for XRP.

Ripple gets partial win against SEC as XRP deemed not a security in some cases
Ripple Labs notches landmark win in SEC case over XRP cryptocurrency

Somewhat its not really that completely a win but at least we are seeing that there's progress in between. Now we are talking about a possible kickstart or catalyst for bull run? NO!
No other news that would be able to be the main reason for the market to have that BR aside from that Bitcoin halving event.
804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips that helpfull for beginners on: July 24, 2023, 08:32:51 PM
The problem with some beginner traders is that they usually think that trading at a bigger capital will also gain higher amount of returns. That is a wrong mindset since you can’t expect that trading will certainly be profitable in the end. The reality is, the bigger money you trade, the bigger amount of losses will be. Unless if you become a professional trader, you can always increase the size of your trades.
The beginners who think it will be effectively using bigger money, probably they don't learn enough about crypto trading. If they learn properly, they must understand that it is better to use small money first. Every beginner must focus on learning, know first how to trade in a proper way. But for the beginners who don't really care about learning, they can be greedy because they are too obsessed with big profits. They may not realize about the risks in trading, they only think about the potential profits.

And usually these fellas are the ones who do really ends up on having that messy start up and this is why its never been that ideal on making use of huge amount specially when you are just starting up.
We know that its not something recommendable on doing so considering that we are still lacking of knowledge and skills on which it would really be just that right that you should really be making use of capital
or bankroll on which it should be less or small since you are still on learning phase..

Start up with demo and you should really be spending ample time on trying out to figure with those trial and error and also the most important thing would really be about on having that
kind of management when it comes to your funds. This is something that could be learned along the way on which it would really be helping you with your learning curve.
Proceed out with caution and really be sensible towards your actions that you would really be making.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 23, 2023, 11:56:58 PM
^ That is a controversial statement by his coach, but it seems that Fulton is just shrugging his shoulder as if to tell this coach to shut up.

In any case, Fulton with or without that hand wraps, believes that he can and will beat Fulton as his own country in front of his crowd. So that is the mentality that Fulton has right now. No need from his coach to throw some rants on the media. Japanese is very respectful, but if you talk trash maybe we will see Inoue unleashes his full potential and power at super bantamweight as he might be agree with that statement.
I feel like it's just the coach doing something to either rouse the people's suspicion or have a say when his kid loses, cause now he can say that Fulton lost cause "inoue fought dirty and did something that is considered illegal" when he's probably just doing something that all boxers do anyway. Inoue is a capable fighter as many have said with or without help and to top it all off this is a home country fight, there's no way he's letting himself down in front of the people who trusts and believes in his ability.

But if it came to investigation I still think Inoue would prevail, and if it does come to that point with Inoue's innocence being proven, I say Fulton's coach must be sanctioned or something lol, You can't just do stuff like that.
Accusing on something which doesnt have a solid evidence then he should really be sanctioned or would really be needing to pay up a big fine if ever this is proven wrong or not really that right at all.For those Inoue

fans out there then there's no single moment that it would really be going into their minds about Inoue on being that cheating. We can even see for us non-fans that this guy has a power and speed.
Now that the fight is almost there, these kind of words had float out? Telling to myself what the f*ck they've been saying as of this moment. If they had chickened out
in the first place then they should have made this fight not to be molded or let it happen at all.It is really just that wasting anyones time and expectations for this fight to happen.
Is this fight would be pursued out still?
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Days you need to work your ass at minimum wage for a BTC, by country on: July 23, 2023, 10:59:11 PM
That's some pretty useless statistical data if you ask me. Grin
What's the point of busting your ass working on a minimum wage for the sake of earning one whole Bitcoin? Can't you just earn 0.1 BTC? Grin
Will you consider your life to be truly accomplished after earning that one whole Bitcoin? Grin Why don't you invest in yourself, gather some skills and get jobs, that are paying a higher salary? Why don't you try to build a business? Working on a minimum wage is the definition of wasting your life, while being an underpaid slave. Countries that have low salaries also have low cost of living, so it's not accurate to compare the minimum wage in different countries without calculating the purchasing power parity(PPP).

Those are assumptions basing up on such condition and not really trying out to apply on just relying with your minimum wage income on getting a whole coin which we know that its never been that simple nor cant just be even possible. Its true that we could be able to accumulate or get 0.1 instead of a whole coin or simply could purchase or buy on satoshis which is something that much lesser than on a whole coin and at the same time you arent that stressing yourself that much.

Just like some people been saying that numbers wont really be that precise or accurate considering that there are factors like expenses or others which it would really be totally lessening out the overall amount
for you to be able to buy a certain amount of coin and there are unexpected things happen about spending which it would greatly affecting those numbers but in overall
on assuming that there would be no such deductions then those would really be that somewhat considerable.
807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and you will be there soon. on: July 23, 2023, 09:57:34 PM
Yes, I used to be like that, bro, I didn't dare to put money in when the market became bloodier and it formed doubts that made us even more afraid to jump in because the price has the potential to fall more, but if you are used to seeing that blood is an opportunity to buy you will get a different mentality from people usually, on the other hand you see the situation as an opportunity and on the other hand you are also doubtful because it is quite terrible with very tense conditions in the market.

Even DCA is a bit scary, but if you really focus on collecting the number of bitcoins I think you will get rid of that stigma within you, and you need to remember that you also have to start trying and getting used to it, if you really don't want DCA's quota to be included in everything at a moment like that, maybe dividing it into several parts is better for you, sir.

That mentality cannot be created by mere thought or impulse, but experience from previous events will make it stronger.
The reason why becoming a good investor or trader is so difficult is that it runs contrary to what we consider common sense, if an asset is rising in price the most natural thing to do is to assume this is going to keep being the case and we will want to become part of that bull movement, however the bull market is the moment to sell not to buy, and the bear market is the same, as many sell at the time when they should be looking to buy instead since the price of bitcoin is very low during that period.
Yes, we still see that it is a habit of short-term traders or investors, and I also don't deny that because such things are like a separate culture in the market.
You will definitely think very unnaturally, or upside down like red is the time to buy and green is for selling, that's a mindset that people rarely do because it's against themselves to make a profit, so what looks green is more attractive and they think that it will continue and red they sell because they are afraid like you said, it's difficult for someone to make a reverse mentality like that in conditions like this, but it also depends on their individual goals and beliefs, those who think long-term don't have to be afraid of a decline, because bitcoin will always return to its best position.
The ones who are really that keen about price movements on short term are to those short term or daytraders who are really that playing with those price volatility on which it is something that they would really be
that too concern when it comes to price movement in a shorter time frame on which it isnt shocking. If you are that someone whose really be that holding Bitcoin and other top altcoins in the market then holding
would be your best option to made on. Patience would be the main issue of most people or investor here on this crypto space and due to unpredictability then it wont really be a shocking thing
that price could neither go up or down basing on the market demand and other factors.

On the time that you would really be making yourself that impulsive then you would really be finding it difficult on handling yourself within this market. This is why its always been
ideal on assessing the situation and what would be the best approach into it.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 23, 2023, 07:40:32 PM
The difficulty of finding a job is a factor that causes someone to get ensnared in making online loans. This has often happened. Several other reasons, such as an urgent need and not wanting to bother other people, are of course the main things for people who are trapped by online loans. Besides that, making online loans is somewhat easier than borrowing money from other people.
The negative effect is if someone continues to be involved in making online loans, it is likely that their economy will never be stable and will have a worse impact.
On the time that you are in a situation on which there's no other options that you could be able to get then for sure you would really be touching up loans whether it would be online or offline as long you do have the
chance on getting these loans then for sure you would be diving in if you dont have other choice but as much as possible, it would really be ideal that you should really be avoiding it at all cost and actually im really that guilty with this on which i do make some loans to pay up some loans because it is really that hard to sustain or relying with my job salary and with lots of expenses and having that inflation then
it is really that hard to completely rely.

We are all having that kind of similar problem and this is where these loan sharks are really that making money due to the fact that they could offer out and put up huge interest on which it is
way more than on what banks offer or giving and since due to easy approval and access then it is really that easy to comply and easy to get if you do have the chance on
asking.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 21, 2023, 07:22:36 PM
The only thing athletes and the public in general need to do in order to make those ridiculous games to disappear is to not participate in them and to not watch them, that way once the organizers behind such a competition realizes no athlete worth anything is willing to participate and the public is not watching their broadcasts anyway then they will run out of money and eventually they will disband this project, and at the same time this will serve as a warning to anyone thinking about doing this again.

Doping cases have been quite a lot in Olympic games during the course of time and many good athletes have been found using it and being eliminated from the games. If they will allow the doping then this may remove some of these cases which the athletes will take anyway in different forms as science has evolved and some cases can evade the checks depending on what the athletes do.I am not in favor of doping being allowed as natural competition is the best from a fan point of view but it all depends on what the athlete does, most likely the federation of such games won't allow doping.
It is true that athletes dope in order to gain an unfair advantage over their competitors, however even if they take drugs that cannot be detected with the current methods, those methods keep improving and their samples can always be checked with those new methods and find out if they cheated anyway, so it is simply not worth it for athletes to cheat in this way, and any athlete which participated on theses games will probably be banned for life from ever participating on their sport of choosing making their participation on this competition useless as well.
Way form of cheating i would say and its not really something ethical specially if they would really be trying out to make something which cant be detected or would be find out which it is really that impossible because

once substance would enter out in our body then it would really be that could be seen or would be known about.Dont know if there's something already who had been able to create such drug or whatsoever correlated to this for it not to be detected if there would really be checks. I agree on what you do said that having these takings would really be considered cheat, why? It do really enhances up your performance compared
when you are in normal state and if the other players are taking the legit path and having no taking up or doping then they would really be having the disadvantage.

This is why it shouldn't really be allowed in the first place because this is something that wont really be that appealing on having those non-fair way on competing to each other specially on events like
this or even into those ordinary match ups.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't expect everyone to embrace Bitcoin on: July 19, 2023, 11:37:16 PM
The earlier we understand that bitcoin is not for everyone, the better because it saves us the time and energy that we would have used to convince those who are uninterested, to move on to those who are interested and it can also drive adoption faster. I've read some threads here of some people trying to convince their family members on the positives of Bitcoin and get enraged if the said members don't share the same opinion as them but I feel everyone is entitled to his opinion and while some regard Bitcoin with outright disgust like Charlie Munger, there are some who care less of it's existence.

Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?
Recognition is always on the move, it would really be just fasten out on the sense it would really be seen on other angles or applications on which other people would be able to see its relevance. Some might get curious

and some wouldnt really care at all. This is why on my part, i wasnt really have the plans on explaining into other people about Bitcoin because they would mostly be minding about making easy money but wasnt really minding about the risks involved on which it is really that something that would really be needing to know in the first place so that you wont really be making yourself that expecting too much.
Just let those people who wont really be tending to welcome the idea or having that Bitcoin into their interest, we know that time is ticking and if they do have missed out the train
on making profits then this is where regret would surely happen.

People would only realize when its already that late which its a common thing to happen. Make some explaination if ever someone do ask about it but always be remindful about the risks involved
and better not to make any guarantees or assurance that you would make profits because people would really be living on a wrong perception.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Advise People To Stake? on: July 19, 2023, 10:39:44 PM
As far as I can tell, the annual return stays at 17.66% for the duration.
Is there any drawback I'm missing?
Why don't people just buy Cryptos that they can stake?

According to my opinion, some platforms provide the staking feature because they need liquidity. It means that it will use that stored liquidity in exchange for annual returns to its owners.

The issue is that this program has a degree of danger because it is imperative for the user to have complete confidence in the platform, and the staking system encourages investing in the largest amount of money to ensure a greater percentage of returns.

17.66% sounds so tempting that I don't think it's true. Some platforms set attractive rates to attract the largest number of users and encourage them to invest more amounts. Therefore, we should not blindly trust any platform that offers very attractive offers.
Basing up on the numbers mentioned above, if these percentages been offered into those non-custodial wallet then we could really at least assure  that they are really offering slightly different in terms of percentage but

having that <2-3% Annual is already that big, similar on what _act_ have said above in speaking about differences and i do agree on the fact that not your keys then not your coins after all when you do tend to
store it up on exchange platforms. Its true that i dont really that like that idea on having that staking considering those tokens/coins would be locked on a certain time and there's no way that you could be
able to withdraw it out if its needed until it would be reaching out that timeframe. If you do, then there's unbonding period for you to wait up specially if you have decided to unstake it.

Its true that those returns annually is really that good looking or interesting but with the risks involved and the things attached to it which it do makes it not really that ideal at all
in the end.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 19, 2023, 09:34:33 PM
Gambling is for fun and something that would really be heavily relying with luck on which it would really be just that understandable that it would really be needing up that kind of approach on which you arent really that

making yourself that too optimistic on the time that you do make out some bets specially on lottery. You would really be finding the situation on OP had been stated on having that first time bettor at the same time it did really able to hit up a jackpot on lottery which is something that it is really that very rare considering that most of these winners are really the ones who had been long time betting before they do able to hit up
plus its not something that you could really just simply be able to do so. Lotteries does really need that extreme luck for you to win up and it is really just cant really be that avoided that you would really got jealous into those people who had been able to hit up with their first time.

Well, there's nothing we can do about it on which there are really people who are really that extremely lucky on this world and the thing we could only do is to be happy on what they have achieved.
Getting envious is normal but well its a common reaction.

Many people are inspired by the successes of others and are looking to replicate that for themselves. I get that, but if you'll be inspired on the success of a gambler then it's something that you should drop immediately. No one really succeeds in gambling that much, except for those who are using their luck too much, or have found a loophole that isn't getting patched any time soon. Good for the lottery winners in getting a big pot, though hopefully they learn that the money they received isn't limitless and it's going to run out soon due to mishandling and overindulging.
There's no such thing about loophole or holy grail for winning up a lottery game considering that results would really be entirely random and this one do definitely needs up that extreme luck for you to be able

to win up something like this with lottery. It is really that neither these huge wins on first time bettors could give out that kind of impression whether this one would really be that become someone to be that
decisive on making the same bets and trying out to mimic these bettors and hoping that they could get that similar results which we know that it is really that impossible. We arent that dumb
about not to know on what are the odds and chances for us to win on lotteries. It is really just that there are people who are really that lucky when it comes to gambling.

Despite on being first timer, he/she was able to hit up the jackpot on which everyone had been longing up for so long and even up to now, they arent able to get even up to now.
Getting envious or having the feeling of jealous on such situation is really that a normal reaction i should say.
813  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: July 19, 2023, 08:36:13 PM
Seems the bear market is likely going soonest. Congratulations in advance to those who bought low and those hodling for a long time. There is likely going to be a new all time high to be achieved before this year comes to an end. If you can, fill up your bag but do your own research.

What do you all think about the sudden bounce back and price increase on Bitcoin of lately?
Yes its seems that bear market likely Over.Because we saw from long time Bitcoin and others cryptocurrency price decreasing. But from some days market come back. Bitcoin and others coin price increasing and many many good news coming. It is sign of bull market i think. Before some days bitcoin price was near about $20k but now bitcoin price is $30k so i Think we are in to in bull session. And i think as bitcoin price holding $30k for long time i think we are in real bull market. So we can tell bear market is so far and it has been over.
We are still on bear market i should say but at least we are already that seeing some gradual increase in price on which we could say that we are on recovery mode but people wont really be consider out such condition

since we arent still able to reach out those prices which are supposed to be seen on this year. The only thing on what this community is waiting on is on that halving event and just like on what they've been saying
that once this event had happened then this would be the main thing that would really be pushing up that bull run which is always the case. We do know that this market have that cycle on which it is
really that still we are on recovery mode and we are only just a year time before the halving event happens.

Although it wont really be an assured thing that it would really be able to happen for that kind of progress into that particular time but at least we do already have the idea
on what are the probabilities that could really happen on that time.
814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: July 18, 2023, 10:46:55 PM
Maybe trading in small amounts is good for gaining experience for beginners,
but what must be realized is that trading is so risky that when we have no knowledge and experience at all it will be easy to lose,
it's better to focus on learning and gaining experience gradually so that you can develop.
Gaining in trading is only possible for experienced professionals.Trading involves a lot of different factors, but the one I fully get is that the lower your investment, the lower the risk, but the bigger your investment, the higher the risk, and vice versa. All of this is true for experts, but beginners need to learn more and more in order to succeed. In order to do this, beginners must focus and take things slowly; over time, everything will improve. The first thing beginners need to remember is that patience comes before greed.

Come to in mind that those professionals are once noobs on which if they could be able to reach out that state then it is really that possible for you to reach out that state too, it is really just it do only differs when it

comes to experience and time and effort that you have able to dealt on this market which for you to be able to reach out that certain condition then you should do the same thing but of course the results or outcomes
wont really be just that the same for those people who do reach out that pinnacle on dealing with this market. Its not something that would really be that an assured thing but at least you have done something which
are supposed to be done if you do have that kind of target when it comes to trading. Never take this thing for granted because this isnt something that you could learn up for few days but rather it would take years
for you to be able to have a good grasps into it and of course it would really be depending on how fast you would be able to understand on what you are dealing with.

Trading is for everyone or someone who are really that eager on learning it out, it is really just that people commit out mistakes just because they do tend to rush up things.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 18, 2023, 09:44:17 PM
I know you must be wondering what's up with my topic right? I too was having a thought over this and I  felt I should bring it here for discussion so we all can share our own various opinions.

For quite sometime now all I have been seeing is statements and topics of bitcoin being an investment and it bothered me to look into it and I as well stand to be corrected logically and with facts with respect to this conversation.

The sole reason why bitcoin was invented was to serve the purpose of digital money for which it was clearly stated on the white paper by Satoshi Nakamoto as captured below by quote;

Quote
Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.
    Bitcoin White Paper
If you look at the top page of the while paper, it is clearly written there and there was no captions like investment  attached to it or being mentioned by Satoshi Nakamoto himself. Now I ask how come it deviated to being an investment?. I have read all through the white paper and never saw anything like investment but rather " an electronic peer 2 peer cash payment system" which means bitcoin is money but in a digital way of making payments. So how come it became an investment?

I believe in the course of adding more value to it's existence, whales bought large volume by market manipulation at the early stage of bitcoin inception and those who couldn't stand the market wave sold out giving way for the whales to take over the market and since then along with other occurrence and scenarios,  bitcoin became an investment and store of value aka digital gold as per say as it worked out for the whales according to their schemes. Would it be that easy to correct that notion of bitcoin being called an investment other than money.
When it is used for payment of goods and services on daily basis and we having full custody of our funds in a digital way would it be necessary we calling it an investment aside the price increase which is fluctuating and barely stable for a long time.? I believe Satoshi Nakamoto the sole originator of the bitcoin knows much better than everyone why he invented the bitcoin and I also would be looking forward to his reappearance be it pseudo anonymous or otherwise to making some notable observations on the bitcoin journey so far.

Basing up on WP which it is;
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online
payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a
financial institution.
Source

This is actually that Satoshi do really have in mind but for sure he wasnt expecting for the community to have that kind of treatment on making it as an investment because it turns out that
it is really that totally be able to have that kind of opportunity for those who do accumulate do able to make money or really make profits which is something that
a good additional instead on just using it as a digital currency which it did really make out that interest even more or spark out those people around on which
i couldnt really blame them out.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 18, 2023, 08:23:49 PM
Lottery here in our country is being run by our government and the majority of the citizen in our country are lottery bettors for many years, I personally know people who are betting for ten or more years but they still have not hit the jackpot I wonder what these people think or if you're a lottery bettor for many years and you read that one first time bettor hit a huge jackpot in a lottery.

Will you feel envious? Ok with it? or motivated?

Filipino first-time bettor wins 15 million Dirhams in Dubai lottery
Gambling is majorly based on luck that is why we could see someone that had been gambling for many years still yet not making a good profits from gambling. Someone new might start gambling on a particular sport of game and start making good profits. Gambling does not know whether a person had been in the field for long or not, anything can happen anything that is why we should be ready to follow the latest trend so that we can am earn money from the games we are paying or betting on.

817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: July 17, 2023, 09:29:25 PM
I have all of these coins:

ETH 40%
CARDANO 20%
POKALDOT 20%
TERRA LUNA 5%
THETA 15%
Avax: 10%

Are my coins going to last is it likely?

LUNA that you invested has failed, but ETH, ADA and DOT will definitely last until 2026, in fact the price will definitely continue to increase when the bullrun occurs, therefore you don't need to worry about investing in ETH, ADA and DOT, because you will definitely get profit in the long term, but for THETA and AVAX I can't give an opinion, because I only know and invest in ETH, ADA and DOT.

We never know what the future of an altcoin project will end like, if we are too optimistic about the project then it will be a mistake,
take a look at Terra Luna, who would have thought LUNA would end up being a Scam,
of course from this we can learn that we should not expect too long in the crypto currency project.
There's no way that we could really be able to know on what would really gonna happen and this is why we do really commit out mistakes when it comes on taking up some decisions specially that the market wont

really be giving a hint on how these projects would really be ending up.There's no way on determining on what would really be the demand of these coins but basing up on the lists then most of them are layer 1's
and its true that LUNA situation wasnt really that an expected one ,considering that everything turns out to be a scam and now the value isnt really that something that you could boast on but luckily
OP did really just put up 5% in overall portfolio which is something that a good call or decision that had been made.

Wondering on why he hadnt considered out on having Bitcoin included into his port?
818  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: July 16, 2023, 11:12:24 PM
If indeed there is no other option, do it, but if there is another way out, take that method. Sometimes reserve funds are needed when others are not available. and this is a tough choice indeed. for sure everything has a deadline ending for example the Covid Pandemic in the end too. whatever you do using the reserve fund benefits not only for you but for your family as well.
Take any action if it saves them from the uncertainty of inequality but if you must have it then use the emergency fund because it is for needs in times like this, so it is important for anyone to save an emergency fund in times like this we can use it but sell other property assets...

The Covid pandemic is a lot of lessons for us where many people use emergency funds because of their uncertain conditions in their income, the best way with emergency funds to survive, when conditions are normal again you can start the same way, namely saving and preparing emergency funds again.

Correct, once the situation got resolve you start again to save your money, for sure you learn a lesson from your experienced.

We don't know when the emergency will come up, but with the experienced we will start to
anticipate and we will allocate a certain amount to save.

It will help to avoid using your investment or your asset as you have dedicated savings
for any emergency it will cover the needs.

Dont wait for yourself to be put up on a situation on which you would really be regretting just because you havent been able to save up or been able to spend up into something. Always allocate  something on your savings on which it is true that not in all lifetime we cant really be able to experience emergencies and this is why savings or emergency funds would come into play but what if you dont have? For sure you would really be ending up on taking a loan or would really be borrowing just because you dont have the funds for that certain situation.

We arent hoping for accidents or emergencies but we do live a in life on which certain situations could happen which it would really be involving money and this is why its never been that something that you should neglect on. On the question in regarding on using up or selling your assets to invest on crypto space? then its not necessary on which if you do have an asset then you could actually invest on  crypto if you do like.
Expand out and diversify as much as you can and we know that opportunity on making profits or money is really there. You cant really just that make yourself that able to reach that financial
freedom if you arent wise on your investment and selling out your assets just because you are focusing on a single point?

820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 16, 2023, 09:35:38 PM
I'm not an addicted gambler, but rather a seasonal gambler who enjoys it for entertainment purposes. I've also had my fair share of both losses and winnings, but I approach it with a balanced mindset. Gambling attracts me because of the possibility of winning, even though the risks often outweigh the rewards. Remember that success in gambling is not guaranteed, regardless of expertise or knowledge. Each individual's experience varies, and while some may be lucky, others may face more challenges. My advice; It's important to be mindful of the potential financial consequences and please, gamble responsibly.
well, that's you saying, then what about the others? because someone who is addicted does not feel he is an addict but he feels fine with his gambling.
There are some people who cannot control their gambling activities but they don't want to call them as addicted gambler. They will gamble a lot and lose yet never take a break from gambling. The number of such gamblers is very high. If they are called as addicted gamblers, they take it in a negative aspects. A gambler can continue gambling as long as he has money, but when the money runs out, many regret it. Therefore, everyone should focus on how to conduct responsible gambling rather than considering gambling as a tool for income.
Regret do always come at the end and there's no way that you would really be having those regrets on the start on which it would really be that normal it wont come in the front or from the start. People would really

be the ones who would experiencing those kind of situation or condition are to those people who hadnt been able to control themselves and tolerate out their gambling addiction. For those who do able to control
out themselves then it is really that good but for those who havent? For sure they are really that experiencing this kind of condition on which they had been wrecked up by gambling. Gambling should really be for fun
and not something for making money or minding about on being rich because it cant really be that possible specially on long term aspect.  Play according into your own leisure means and not on that income making
kind of mindset.
Dont let your greed and impulsive emotion would really be able to control you because if you do then you would really be creating out such kind of mistake which is something that most
gamblers do really be ending up.
