1621  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: July 18, 2022, 11:34:09 PM
Hello everyone, I've been using online sportsbooks for a while now, but I wanted to know how do you know how to trust those sites? What do you look for in them, what are some red flags for you, that kind of stuff. Hope it makes sense and please share what are your favorite online sportsbooks.

I treat online bookmakers quite indifferently. Probably, the fact is that sport is simply not my area of interest. However, in answer to your question, my criteria are 1) Reliability (compliance with generally accepted criteria and quick responses to user complaints); 2) Coefficients (the smaller the margin, the higher the bookmaker's coefficients and score); 3) Convenience of payments (the number of payment methods and the speed of payments by the bookmaker).
I think - the best one can do is to check the reviews and comments on the forums and in public groups.
Even Reviews on the website are very important and helps in letting other people decide what to do and what not to do.
I think you are right because review helps to find out or indicate the problem and the fault of a particular sites. So I believe but way to search review which some company paid for participants in bitcointalk to help out and the chick how good and how bad is the company really help some people really research about the platform and also report back to the platform about their observation
Whenever you do find for some crypto related sites or services which isnt only limited with gambling but also in other aspect or key areas as well then this forum itself would really be the best preference on which

you could make out some checking before you do decide whether you would really be make out some deposit depending on what you had researched if its good or does have some lots of complaints or issues.

Just make use of your common sense yet you could able to find out on which one is worth and which one is not but you should be careful with those bias review sites around.
We do have a couple of review sites on this forum which is trustworthy and can really be that  good as a preference.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: July 18, 2022, 10:38:53 PM
I highly doubt whether Bitcoin will become successful in the coming years. The people need to be financially aware first. They need to explore and learn crypto (which would not be an easy task, I think). But at least it has thrown some light of hope on the future of Bitcoin.
I don't seem to get your point clearly, but again if you are referring to Bitcoin then i will say Bitcoin is already successful in all terms of it as a payment system Bitcoin have offered total control and freedom. El Salvador President have understood this fact that Bitcoin is the part way to gaining total freedom from the economic red taptism  of the global system, before now el Salvador never hard its own currency and if that is the case then Bitcoin a decentralized currency will give the country a better position.
Not totally on ruining your boost of feelings or positivity towards bitcoin but everything still unsure on what would happen in the upcoming future years to come.El Salvador President had really just seen those potential and made out actions according on what he's seeing.

Now the price had plummets then there are lots of criticisms on the decision that he had made which he wasnt really that affected at all but the fact he did even more purchase more coins
when it is price on 19k.
He is really that bullish towards it and wont mind on how much they would be allocating for such accumulation but lets see on how things would turn out.
1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 18, 2022, 09:37:47 PM
Users will certainly prefer to play at casinos that support their favorite payment method. So the more payment methods the platform supports the more customers it will attract which means more deposits and more profit for them.
Besides, having a wide range of payment methods makes the service look more professional and care about their customers and their confort.

The same apply to crypto casinos. Many of them support too many coins even if some of them will rarely/never be used.

For crypto, usually the casino prefers those coins who have faster transaction speed coz that's what gamblers also wants.
Most gambler, or let's say most people in general wants faster transactions (deposit and withdrawal) so it really make sense for any online casinos to accept multiple coins to attract more players. Though not every coin that has faster transaction speed cost cheap like XRP, but different people do have different preferences.
Majority of gamblers do really loves that fast pace transactions from deposit to withdrawal which is always been recommended or much preferred thats why companies should really be having that consideration on

offering all the probable ways which would really give out that accessibility and ease when it comes to than manner because if people do find out on how easy for them to make deposits/withdrawals then its one of
the aspect that they are looking for.

Of course here's the main priority which is that fairness that it should have. All things would be useless if people or the community would find out that your casino isnt fair or shit i would say.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2022, 08:34:32 PM
The end of Bitcoin won't happen for now. We should know that the market has been through this kind of situation for several years. We've also witnessed how Bitcoin has fallen and struck a good price during the ATH so the current situation isn't enough for us to doubt it again. It's part of the crypto cycle and it's an open opportunity for everyone to accumulate Bitcoin while its price is still cheap. Bitcoin still has a lot to offer us and we only have to be patient.
Not only years but a decade on which it has been like this and its not totally surprising if you do ask me on which price had been always like this on where it do rise and fall and depending on the market condition.

Everything is random and cant really be known and people should really be having that kind of mindset on where possibilities could happen but not on the sense that we would really be ending up on this market.

Nothing is assured though but we've been through lots of crashes and very bearish market but eventually we do make out some recovery afterwards and we cant really just stay into these levels for a long time.
So instead on freaking out yourself into  those kind of conditions then it would be worth if you would be minding on how to get in on cheaper prices.
1625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: July 17, 2022, 11:59:21 PM

Talking about a real trader is indeed ambiguous and what are the definite benchmarks so that someone can be said to be a real trader,
but apart from that simple things or simple principles that you say we really need to know,
like when it's a bear market right now where it is necessary to take advantage of this opportunity to buy and vice versa when it's a bull market it's a moment to sell
Real traders are those who take major risks without a doubt and will continue to trade in any market condition. And of course, they are too smart and they will never make decisions too fast, even buying and selling - they'll go with thorough market analysis and that includes price trend. They have a deep market understanding and experience which finds easy for them to analyze - that was their advantage. And to ask if they care about the market situation? That was very certain but never it give them worry if it dump, they will a take short buy while waiting for another (short) pump.

If it's something like what I said before, a market speculator doesn't care if his stock goes up or down, what matters to him is to go in the direction the market is going to win, if the market goes down, go in the fall and possibly leveraged at least 5x, if it goes up, go up, but it is very difficult to follow these things for traders because to follow volatility in the right direction requires a lot of dedication and effort, and It is possible not to detach yourself from the PC to follow the movement.

Not only dedication and effort but also have a good control of emotional aspect on which people should really be having those traits and as a real trader which does have these kind of qualities are the ones that are really that versatile with their positions on which this indicates that you are indeed a good one but we know that there are different type of traders which could really make out actions on different situations.
Some are focused and some are that too prepared because we cant really able to predict on whats ahead.

Doesnt matter on what type are you as long you could able to sustain yourself within the market then that what matter or counts.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 17, 2022, 11:25:18 PM
It's a sad reality that even professional players have taken this step because there are tons of money to gain if they chose to let go of their winnings. I believe its always a malpractice but i don't think this will be easily given a solution since most of the people involved are also those who have big titles in the game. Instead of giving the game a fair play that the audience needs to witness, there are always under the table transactions that creates more impact than just being fair to it.

I even believe that this can happen in smaller championships and teams, but I doubt that this will happen in big European tournaments and teams.
As difficult as it is to prove such manipulation, if there is any suspicion the player or team that committed the fraud can be penalized forever, and in addition to paying severe fines, you will still lose major sponsors.
For those who are afraid of this type of manipulation, I suggest betting only on larger tournaments.
Cant really be happening on big leagues or events because it would really be seen by lots of fans overall the world which any odd action and calls would really raise up some eyebrows and could potentially make out

that scandal which might end up some teams/organization career if once proven thats why they arent really that dumb on taking or putting up a risk on that one and its true that this is commonly happening on

smaller leagues which doesnt really have much fans or audience that are looking or watching into but well its not really that still easy to make those things to be done without having questions or doubts around.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 15, 2022, 09:50:03 PM
If you ask me that question the answer will be "You can't dismiss the whole thing because of a few people's mistakes". Those who become addicted to gambling and lose everything, it is their personal problem that they have taken gambling as such where they should have taken it for entertainment purpose. Yes, if some rules and regulations were followed, the question of banning gambling would not have come up. I think gambling is not for those who have chances of getting addicted to it.
Some places or government does really have that kind of perception when it comes to gambling where they do really protect their citizens and if they do see relevant or significant numbers who had been affected then

this might be the time that they would really be making out some action for them to take like banning or having prohibitions but if they  do mind off about taxation and revenue then they would just simply ignore those
but actually this does really depend on several factors because not all would really be having on the same impression for them to make out decisions.

Banning isnt the solution and as of todays era or tech and accessibility then it wont really be that hard for someone to find out some hole for them to dig in.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: More than 5 WBTC (BTC) was stolen from my Metamask wallet!!! on: July 15, 2022, 08:19:33 PM
Try to check if there's connected platform on your metamask and maybe you can see the reason on why you have been hacked since sometimes exploiters use this to drain the wallets of their victims. Also next time best to get a good hardware wallets because this one give us more guarantee than those type of wallets.
You wont really be able to get hacked even if you do connect your wallet on a specific platform or something like that yet you are still the ones who would really be need to accept or approve everytime you do make

out transactions on your metamask thats why i dont really believe on such scenario. Most of MM wallet hacks are neither on exposed privatekeys or someone accessed their device while their pc is on
or no one is watching and the rest are just pure hoax or cant really be possible.

If none of those things happened then there's no way but only you could make out transactions which is likely the case.
1629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: July 14, 2022, 10:29:33 PM
Greed seems bad in everyone's view but you can't deny that thanks to greed, people are more likely to hold and push the price higher. You've to understand now all greed is bad since crypto has some form of greed in itself, attract investors thank to the 'get rich quick' scheme and exposing it to the mass public and social media.

Controlling greed is of course important in trading. Because traders who control greed get good results in trading. Because trading is a game of experience, any move in the hope of a quick profit can be costly.

The way everything is promoted on social media today about trading, things are shown to be very different from the reality. So a trader must follow the market trend and take trades after controlling greed.
Greed could fucked you up not only on trading but also in other investment or activities as well which does really involved money or funds to be used.Greed could put you in big trouble since this would really be

resulting on bad decisions because you arent really following your analysis in the first place. If you do hurry up yourself on making profits then you wont really be able to mind or think off carefully on things
that you must do.

Stick with the basics and stick into your analysis even though its not that precise but it is really better that you are on the track rather than hurrying up yourself on trading
and minding on making yourself rich. hehe.
1630  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 14, 2022, 09:31:02 PM
After the global epidemic that started in 2019, there were problems not only in football but also in all sports branches. However, sports branches that appealed to the audience live, such as football, were more affected.

Even if normalization begins towards the end of last season, we are getting ready to enter a season that we can call normal.

In this process, especially for football, I think that the big teams lose more power in general. Because supporter support is one of the most important criteria. This season, we will have a more normal season and I think we can watch better matches. Of course, we may also be entering a more enjoyable period for betting.
Whose the one doesnt really like for us to go back into those normal days? For sure all of us and we've seen on how this pandemic had affected lots of industries not only on sports but also in other key areas as well.

Im bit agreeing on the thing been said about crowd relevance on sports like football or even basketball or any sports that does have huge audience and on the time that pandemic hits then we've able to adjust
but its totally different when you do hear out an actual crowd noise compared on artificial ones.

This pandemic is slowly vanishing and people are starting now to go out without having any mask plus businesses are opening up their doors. We do all hope on going back into those normal days.
1631  Economy / Speculation / Re: copytrading and futures on: July 13, 2022, 11:43:02 PM
Start trading without leverage. Leverage is going to get you REKT especially 50x.
Once your trading starts getting accurate then start with low leverage.
Starting from zero knowledge then leverage even on 10x isnt something recommendable specially for newbies in trading but if you do love to have some bit of thrill and exploration due to curiosity then it isnt really bad

to test out yourself but dont expect and anticipate that you've been dealing with gambling because futures/leverage is something  that newbies shouldnt be touched up specially when they are just starting on.

Copytrading is the most easy and recognizable for starters because it is less hassle but in long term it wont really make you learn so its still useless. You cant just rely forever.
If you are really serious with trading career or with this path then you should make yourself independent and trade manually of your own and find on what does suits you out.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 13, 2022, 10:38:40 PM
It could be on basketball, boxing or horse racing, or any kind of sport, after being in a particular sport for many years can you see or tell if a fight or event is fixed, there are upsets but in the back of our minds, there's a possibility that the match or game is fixed.

Yes, I can assume that a match is fixed based on the performance of the team especially if it happens to be a well-known team with good players playing against a team that has fewer quality players or a team that is in poor form. Using football as an example, when a big team with an odd of 1.20  is playing against a smaller team that has an odd of 30.25 is playing a football match when the big team is having all the possessions when the team has created so many goals scoring chances but fails to put any goal at the back of the net even when the team is awarded a penalty, it is obvious that the game is fixed to end as a draw since the small club can not score.
It's hard to spot if a game is fix to be honest, there a ways to fix a game, it's not only on intentionally losing the game but point and total shaving is very popular in sports betting, however, it's not proven so if you are a bettor, you have to be clever when putting a bet, stay away from the public favorites.

That will depend if the favorite is likely to be the winner and the chance of other party to win is somehow smaller than the favorite, either way, we will likely have some analysis and nearest speculation of the actual result but that won't determine our success because as you've said, there this other factor called point shaving and intentional losing.
Majority of us would really be definitely sticking into those favorite ones which it doesnt really need much complex thinking and analysis on whose gonna win the match or fight. If you do see some odd movements

or bad calls from refs then it cant really be avoided for you to generate out some assumptions in mind that there's something off with the gameplay and having that impression that this might be fixed.

Of course it would be normal for you to seek for another possible odd movement or decisions been made and find out strange or something thats a true intent. Then what would be the next step you would do?
On where you would make such complain? How they would be hearing up your part? For sure this is something the hardest thing to be done.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mexican senator proposes bill to make Bitcoin legal tender on: July 13, 2022, 09:08:52 PM
Mexican senator Indira Kempis proposed a bill to accept Bitcoin (BTC) as legal tender in Mexico. The proposal document focuses on the fact, that over 67 million individuals in Mexico still do not have access to a bank account, which means that 56% of the country’s population still does not have this most fundamental of the financial system. Bitcoin would indeed provide a good opportunity for this high un-banked population to gain access to cheap, fast and reliable financial transaction. This is good news for Bitcoin because in the face of the bearish market, it is still acknowledged as a potent solution or option to financial challenges of nations. Although this bill would face a lot of hurdles to go through the legislative and executive processes, but if it is finally passed into law, it would be a big win for Bitcoin because Mexico would be a bigger catch.

Would still be needing to have lots of debates and discussion before this bill would able to pass.Do you really think that government of Mexico wont really be seeing the con's of such proposal? They might be having that 56% of population doesnt have access on that banking but doesnt mean that they arent that contented on making use of their own fiat money?
Its not really bad to have that proposed bill but making it as a legal tender then this is where things would look like a mess.

Well, we cant make out conclusions yet but it is less likely for everyone to really end up on having the same views and perception on accepting Bitcoin.
Not on really that too negative but turns out that this had been a common reaction.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Crypto Heist as of to Date, Are your Fund in peril? on: July 13, 2022, 07:28:53 PM
It's really difficult to eradicate things like this because thieves also keep trying to do things like this so that they can make profits without caring about others.
It's a shame that such a great ability is carried out in the wrong way, even though in this case there are still mistakes from people or institutions that were stolen because of recklessness.
In the end, things like this will still happen as time goes on, things are getting crazier.
Not all would be talking about being reckless or being irresponsible because some of them are just inside jobs which it cant really be avoided on people to be intruiged about the possibilities specially if there are some

loopholes that had been discovered where only part of the team or insider are the cause of those lost of funds which means that it wouldnt be taking all the blame into those hacking incidents.
It is really just sad to see that these things do still continue to exist which its not really that shocking because this crypto space is a sweet spot on taking up millions of dollars
and fooling people around.

Sorry for those people who had been affected thats why trusting up projects is really hard even on how reputable or known it is.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 12, 2022, 11:31:35 PM
^

Of course, a person's environment has a very strong influence on him and his habits. It's hard enough to resist gambling when it's all you talk about in your company and every pub in your town has a slot machine. This I know from personal experience. That's why I try not to let my children know that I'm into gambling.

That is a fact and that fact may only be disregarded when that person is somehow strong enough to resist those urges and temptations he's getting every single day as his environment, as well as his workplace, is full of gambling discussions. But in most cases, that same urge will get you curious enough to even try what they are trying to say and in the end, you will find yourself gambling.
Just taking some example on my case when im still studying on college where most of my friends are really smoking which you would really be getting influenced easily and do the same thing if you dont really have that self control on ones self and this is also the case whenever you do expose yourself around with gamblers but not all do easily get hooked up though.

There are indeed people who are really just good on controlling their emotion and mindset and set out restriction whether they would be engaging on it or not.

Gambling cant be inherited because this is basing up on behavior which is something not connected with that DNA thingy or something like that.
As a guardian or parent if you dont like for your children to be a gambler then dont let them to see on what you've been doing.
1636  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev.com - DNS hosting service has expired. on: July 12, 2022, 08:37:30 PM
If Preev won't return, it will be big loss. When few days ago I wanted to check Bitcoin price at Preev and saw that their domain expired, I thought - what I should do now? Yeah, there is many places where you can check, but I failed to find something so convenient as Preev. Fast, clean UI not filled with ads, simple and that's all what I needed.
I see some alternatives mentioned, but their domains is long and impossible to remember.
Maybe someone can suggest Bitcoin price desktop widget for Windows?
I see preev is a thing before but how come people still care to use it while there are lots of alternatives?

Honestly speaking i always just go to google then type "btc to usd" and then something pre made converter show in the search page and input things there.
It's question of habbits and preferences. I used preev for 6 years maybe and was satisfied with it. And now it's difficult to change habbits after such long time. You prefer to type BTC to USD in Google, I prefer to enter Preev.com.
Im with this! +1

Having Preev on downtime is just really like a big loss to me because whenever i do check price of btc then its already bookmarked or already in history result of my browser which i do only need to press

Pr ++ and then enter then i do already know the price of BTC on point. Its true that it might be simple on saying that there are lots of alternatives but nothing beats out preev on that manner.
Ive been using this for how many years or shall we say on the time that i had known bitcoin. Now i do need to click and search in google.
Even trying to check on CMC do really feels like to exert too much effort. lol
1637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: July 12, 2022, 07:21:29 PM
i guess :

1) End of the year (December : 2022 Quarter  futures closing) : good recovery

2)  In 2023 it will start going up

3) The turnkey will be on may 2024 (next halving)

so 2 years from now to see new high , maybe .

1. Not all the times where prices do make out some significant rise on every end of the month of each year.

2. Remember on what happened on that 2018 crash and how many months we've been waiting for recovery.

3. Next halving would be possibly be the next catalyst for price increase but its not guaranteed. It might happen on post-halving instead.

Nothing is assured and cant be predicted. We could make out some patterns but doesnt mean that it would really be happening guaranteed on
next years to come thats why dont anticipate for things so that you wont really get frustrated.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: July 11, 2022, 11:57:25 PM

That fund was used to buy about 3 BNB when it was trading close to the $100 mark. Assuming I took profits at the peak of the market, that would had been a massive gain although now I'm not in loss as well since I'm still up from my
initial entry point.

This is good to hear that you are good reinvesting the gambling gains back to your coins to expect more big profit at the bull time. You have been preparing ahead for time to come and I'm learning from this kind of advise too. Cashing out early in the bull may have brought you profit but no regret because the future profit is coming.
Reinvestment of money earned from gambling is a way of earning more profits in the future or investing in capital projects is another alternative means of smart investment, personally I had never won any tangible amount of money via spot bettings, however I will give soccer betting a trial this upcoming season I hope to win huge profits so as to also reinvest in some profitable coins, this thread is an eye opener for me and learnt various way of judicious use of money earned via sport bettings.
Some might be still mindful on making investment out of those gambling profits that they had made which isnt really a bad idea but in overall if you are really that mindful or serious in talks or terms of investments then the money you have spent on sports betting is more worth if you do directly invest on it into those coins you are preferring. It might be less but it would be good if its accumulated but if you are really in a rush which most people been thinking then they would really be making gambling as their resort on making those funds more bigger but of course the risk involved is much high since not all are good on sports betting and even some people do touch up luck based for more fast pacing kind of accumulation but dont exempt out the possible losses chances.

Talking about expensive things been bought on gambling profits then i dont have win that big to buy on something but i do make purchase of steam wallet codes or something
in correlated with digital goods but not really that much expensive.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many Crypto Projects Will Die on: July 11, 2022, 10:43:30 PM
I don't need to be an expert to know that meaningless altcoins will die, many and many of them are already dying but always every day other new altcoins will appear with some other innovation and also with some other meaningless project. Look at coinmarketica, there are new altcoins there every day and of course there are also many meaningless and dead altcoins there. This is a market where as much as there are many meaningless altcoins, they don't all die at the same time and as long as every day we have more new altcoins emerging and few altcoins dying, the market will be flooded with altcoin. about fiat the principle is the same as I said about altcoins
Just needing some common sense right?

Shit projects or to those who arent that relevant will surely die and wither away on this market. When the market is on bearish state then this would be survival of the fittest or to those project
who had been supported by investors or community.

Expect those things to happen because not all projects will definitely boomed and flourish and considering the numbers that we do have today then its really that hard
for each project to sustain and only to those who had actual relevance and utility will really survive and some garbage that had been hyped up even they
are actually shit.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 11, 2022, 10:34:39 PM
Those who gamble that are basically for money. There is no way they can accept anything fake instead of money. I don't think they will attract those sites in any way. Some times gamblers are interested in betting even if they have no experience in any field. In that case, there is no way to improve them with anything fake.
Lol it's more than just wasting time.

You will never feel the thrill playing with the fake money ... just like the demo , it's useless not really helpful at all. We need a professional help in case you get addicted to gambling .. not such distraction with zero function in it. I have a lot of addicted friends that can't move on from gambling and this way is one of ridiculous way he might laughing off.
TO me it's not an attraction. I don't like playing with fake money- if I have to quit gambling - I think I will indulge myself in some other activities.
Go into hiding into some remote area with my DSLR and will not be incontact with anyone for sometime - so that I clear off my mind. Once I decide something - I do it. No matter how hard it is. . .
If you are really that planning on quitting gambling for good then it would really be ideal on making yourself getting away from it even you are saying with fake money kind of playing then it wont really be a solid
solution in regarding with your addiction because it would really be just continuing the same thing on which if you do have the chance on making use of real funds then it would really be just the same story.

I do agree on what you had said on making yourself getting away with any gambling activity. If you do make this option then i dont see for it to be ideal because it wont really make you
get away with gambling addiction but instead you would make it more worst.

Also, there's no enjoyment on playing fake or play money. You could tell the difference when you are on the situation.
