801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium 1000 $ is a dream to everyone ! on: September 30, 2019, 07:38:21 AM
You just answered your own question, Patience is the correct answer.
I purchased all of my ETHs almost two years ago after it had peaked and was sitting in the $1100-$1200 range. I am currently at a large loss but I am okay with just HODLing for as long as I need to. I just don't Know if eventually i lose all of my money, but there is no better option at this time. Even I bought more on yesterday at $168, and I still waiting to buy more below if possible. I only sell on big profit or I will hold!
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: September 30, 2019, 05:32:19 AM
I've been holding bags of dust and empty promises since the dump in 2017-2018. It was my first time getting into this Crypto atmosphere. The one lesson I have taken from it is that this coin is truly a copy and worthless. Charlie lee knew exactly when to get out. He had more access to personal trades through ledgers that the average person doesn’t have access to. Actually i am waiting for the detail of MimbleWimble then how other things go on. After that, it will need consensus and this process can take months before the code actually develops. I still stand on "More patient, More gain" and will hold for another year at least.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON (TRX) Scam on: September 30, 2019, 12:36:14 AM
Tron ia not scam , but just the price down and stagnan.
So keep waiting Tron make a announcement update.
Everywhere, I see people saying tron is a scam, and will be gone gradually. However, I think that only those who just watch Justin Sun and the prices, feel that way. There are so many projects with working platforms and products on the Tron Blockchain that it’s unreasonable to believe it’s all going to just fade away. Not to mention that most of theses projects are growing extremely fast and not far away from mass adoption. The time is coming, don’t let the market price keep you from being part of something amazing. i am staying positive, and i don’t give up my hope but i am ready everything for selling everything about TRX.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Binary-Chain - VeriCoin and Verium - The First Dual-Blockchain Protocol on: September 29, 2019, 07:28:59 PM
Verium project is dead?  Huh
The project is certainly not dead but it sure does appear that way!
The Verium core code update is done and is now being tested. Next is the VeriCoin core code update, then BinaryChain. The price is quite low but other ALTs have the same issue. Slack is where most discussion happens about VeriCoin, but we as a community need to change this because most people use Bitcointalk for researching coins and when they come here it looks like the project is dead. I have some coins but if nothing change i'll have to sell all of them in future. my problem with their team isn't a lack of progress but with how they communicate it. hope they improve it, and pay attention to Bitcointalk's Thread.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: September 29, 2019, 06:51:09 PM
Past performance not being a good model for the future, keep it in mind. Bitcoin has only existed for just over 10 years. That means there's only been two halving events so far. There's not that much data yet. A lot of people thought Bitcoin would be a lot further ahead in terms of adoption by now too. We'll just have to wait and see. If the price really tanks and stays down, i'm pretty sure that's going to invalidate the model anyway isn't it? Will decrease demand which must keep increasing for the model to work. Since payments with Bitcoin are not cutting it, we basically have to hope demand comes from the price mooning. If not it’s hard to see where it’s going to come from. I'd love for it to be accurate personally. I'll be richer than today in a couple of years if it is. I am optimism anyway.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: September 29, 2019, 08:55:01 AM
My first thought was to put it in to Altcoins, Like
Ethereum
RSR
Theta
EOS
I trust only 3 coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero
Bitcoin is the beginning of everything and it is the father of great technology and will be forever the main standard in Blockchain and Crypto trading. Ethereum is so innovative with their token system and new language, The rest of the market is trash: LTC,ESO is a copy, DASH is powered by companies that took profit from the coin you use, Zcash pre-mined.

Only XMR have the transparent and pure community-powered with tons of effort to protect the transaction. XMR is great with privacy with all the effort to prevent the coin from centralized. It has everything that a perfect coin supposed to have, distributed hashrate, super low transaction cost, anti double-spend, large community. So think about it.
807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Down below $9k! Buy the dip now? on: September 29, 2019, 08:24:21 AM
And the bears are taking over!

Do you think it's the right time to buy now? Or should we wait for BTC to dip even further?

Honestly, I'm happy about it, I was waiting for a good buy day and this was it. I was super close to pulling the trigger at $7,800 but I second guessed myself and ended up buying at the first rebound when it was $8,400, its now back down a bit but I don't even care, I was ready to buy at anything below $10,000, and under $9,000 I really feel like I won a Lamborghini!
Tomorrow, we will see $10,000 again, We have seen this many times, for those who expect $3000 or $4000 neither in this life nor in the other, BTC does not go down more than $7,000 more ever in life.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ Core v6.16.5.1 - DigiShield, DigiSpeed, Segwit on: September 29, 2019, 07:01:11 AM
Fighting with Binance isn't good for DGB. Pay fee or don't, but don't shout in public. Binance is a privately owned exchange, they can basically add or delist any coin they want to. Charge any listing fee they feel is appropriate. They have a business model that seems to be working great without DGB. I'm a fan of DGB, but I'm also a fan of liberty and economic freedom. I have some DGBs and will sell them soon if nothing change. Winning a stupid poll entitles us to nothing. A serious look into what the technology is and is capable of doing should be used as the criteria rather than popularity contests.
809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ? on: September 29, 2019, 06:20:12 AM
Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ?

All-Time High is a rare event, not a repetitive event, with all the awareness about Bitcoin we have globally, we should have been now easily at $20,000 per coin. The mistake of many is this trend is to think they are the only ones to understand what means Bitcoin but Wrong! most of the rich people on this planet have a great understanding of what Bitcoin is, but there is like 100/200 Million wealthy people on this planet and at least 10% know enough goodies about Bitcoin. Would they have invested at least 1 BTC? I don't think so.
The end of the story, Bitcoin is not attractive to the all if not most of the investor community. So seat and enjoy posting but in the near future don't expect to see much of miracles I'd say.
810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Dropping - Are You Scared? on: September 28, 2019, 11:34:48 PM
Are You Scared or Worried? And what worries you? Or why are you confident?
Everytime it drops a bit down I hear my cash screaming "we want more BTC".
Bitcoin has been in the spotlight this week largely due to two unfavorable developments. The first one is the underwhelming Bakkt launch that failed to impress the cryptocurrency community. Second, the largest cryptocurrency finally broke down from a descending triangle after months of consolidation, prompting calls for a bearish dump to $4,000 or even lower but i am still positive about Bitcoin. It still can be a speculative investment people are interested about. Gold has failed so many but it still has value. Bitcoin certainly has utility. This is not investment advice but best time for buying.
By the way, Did you know BTC dropped 10% on the last Friday of every month for the last 5 months? If No, well you do now.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Right Now: Will Do A Bull Run Too? on: September 28, 2019, 08:08:12 PM
I personally think Ethereum will outshine Bitcoin but trust will always be valuable. All Bitcoin is to me is a newly discovered source of trust. And trust is scarce in a climate of fiat currencies that aren't looking so trustworthy when the hands of a few have a lot of power over them. I don't know if it will be bull run but soon people are going to realize what a smart contract is and how that can change the world, when that happens everything can happen, and hope you've secured your ETH.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: September 28, 2019, 08:44:27 AM
I see a rapid growth on Lisk. Finding a major security issue and having it merged into core. Developing training tools, opening public APIs, snapshots, funding of various delegate tools such as Lemiis Dynamic Forging Controller, and the release of Moracle, which will be one of the first Sidechains to be launched on Lisk. I expect a increasing on price. Buy before it's too late to realizing the true value of this coin. When dumping will ended and Bitcoin will on the rise again, soon the rest of the market will follow especially Lisk.

813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] DeepOnion ONION New Private Currency ✅ Own ONION Now & Discover Privacy ✅ on: September 28, 2019, 04:48:58 AM
I love DeepOnion, it being a coin which was distributed via airdrop but a lot of people worry about DeepOnion's future. My biggest concern with privacy coins as a whole is the fact they very well could be regulated against. ISPs choke pools, Government agencies bar business from accepting and take away FIAT off-ramps. What can be done then? Sure everyone can Solo Mine but at that point what is the motivation? Cant trade it for Fiat or goods an services. Personally I feel that this is being ignored by the privacy coin community as a whole and we all need to step up and help shape these coming regulations instead of just letting them come to fruition without any input from community projects whatsoever.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌈🎰💰[ANN]CryptoMania Slots 🍋🍉🍇🍒🥭👑 on: September 27, 2019, 06:05:10 PM
Such projects can rather be attributed to the scam and such projects usually don't pay bounty hunters to BTC. Cryptomania positions its token as reliable the more that these tokens can bring passive income to their owners. They just don't plan on listing yet.
There are billions of people in this world and everyone has their own opinions. Every cryptocurrency and project has been called a scam by someone. Even bitcoin has been called a scam. I understand you definitely but I also get aggravated by people who talk over here who lost much. No need to say it, just keep it to yourself or share it somewhere else if you have a solid proof (scam accusation section).
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BAKKT launching tomorrow but BTC price falls? on: September 27, 2019, 05:16:03 PM
Sure bakkt keeps a lot of people from taking bitcoin as serious as we'd like. the need for "physical" BTC will eventually means that demand and price will increase. The thing to watch with Bakkt is volume. If the volume is high, eventually the price will rise even if the contracts are being used primarily to short. In my opinion Bakkt was disappointing the first day with only 73 contracts/BTC, but I think it will start gaining volume as the time goes by. Yesterday it made 142 contracts and today already 155.
816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2019, 01:53:17 PM
This is impossible to answer in any serious way without knowing your situation.
The default answer: if you have to ask, you most likely shouldn't buy. The detailed answer is; it depends on your financial situation your debt? income? financial plans/goals? will you need money you plan to put into bitcoin within the next 3-5 years? will you be financially/emotionally able to stomach a full loss of your investment?, as well as how well you understand the basics of bitcoin storage and why you want to get some in the first place. I mean, obviously this doesn't matter if you want to get something like $20 worth which is not a bad idea just to test the waters and to learn the basics, before you buy more, but you get the idea, I hope.
817  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL on: September 27, 2019, 03:19:44 AM
Don't panic & understand this as a manipulation. bitcoin is a small market with a potentially enormous future. Until the market matures over the coming years, players can make a significant impact on the price when they sell or buy large amounts of bitcoin. They often sell and buy to capitalize on futures trading. This then triggers the smaller players waiting and watching on the sidelines to follow suit in the direction of the price movement, creating fear of missing out in a domino effect of selling or buying. Eventually, as more investors enter the space and bitcoin becomes more distributed, this type of manipulation by big players should become less of an issue.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How using Tor Browser increases bitcoin theft? on: September 13, 2019, 09:39:11 PM
Any idea?

On Tuesday the Localbitcoins published a warning on its website. The notice dedicated to Tor users stated that the use of a Tor Browser exposed them to risks of Bitcoin theft. It is unknown whether the message was visible to only Tor users or others as well. The executives have not made any statements regarding the matter, and the reason behind it remains unknown.
