Hi!

802  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: August 11, 2017, 05:57:18 PM

Guns are made for one purpose, and that purpose is to kill.
I believe that guns are not weapons, they are tools. How they are used is up to the person holding it.
Guns are especially dangerous in the hands of people who don't know how to use them (i.e., kids and teenagers) as well as those who are mentally ill and/or have a temper problem.
Gun control will not stop violence because a violent person doesn’t need a gun to be violent.
After the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, support for gun control increased dramatically.

Generally in America, the support for gun control has outweighed the support for gun rights.
Are gun control laws constitutional?
What would be your ideal set of laws regarding firearms?

I think in some places where crime is rampant, having a gun shouldn't be a problem because it can save lives. However, the government should limit it and be strict in issuing permits. They shouldn't let people who has criminal records hold a gun and those who are mentally incapable or insane. It would be dangerous if this people would have a gun.
803  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BUY BITCOIN IN COINS.PH? ADVISABLE OR NOT on: August 09, 2017, 11:27:10 AM

804  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: August 09, 2017, 10:41:00 AM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

Teaching kids bitcoin at early age is hard because they won't be able to absorb the main idea about it. If you want to teach them how to save, find other ways like asking them to save on piggy banks or giving them a certain amount of money when shopping, so they will know how much can they buy with just a certain amount.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 09, 2017, 10:18:41 AM
BCH will not become BTC because BCH has independently stepped on its own path. The market is still more supportive of BTC than BCH is an altcoin as I have said many times BTC / BCH is like ETH / ETC Smiley

Well said, I totally agree. And, I don't even think that there's any other coin in the world that could replace bitcoin. It's widely known by those who uses crypto currencies and just take a look at the market demand. I think bitcoin is irreplaceable, it's possible but unrealistic. Bitcoin is bitcoin and nothing can replace it.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to have fulltime income with altcoins trading ?? on: August 09, 2017, 09:42:38 AM
Hello there,i have learnt a lot about bitcoin and i am very interested in it.I also like trading but i have not done altcoin trading before.
I wanted to know can altcoin trading provide consistent and regular income ??

Yes, it's possible if you have skills, knowledge, time and money. It's quite hard to earn a lot of money if you're just a small trader. You need some big investment. But, it's quite risky because if it doesn't work out well, you'll just lose a lot of money. So, just trade what you can afford to lose. You should gain some experience and knowledge first before going all out on trading.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I WANT TO KILL MYSELF Somebody doing fraud in KORECOIN on: August 09, 2017, 08:53:56 AM
I am very very sad. I think KoreCoin Market is doing Fraud.Today, when I was trading, I lost about 1 Bitcoin to KoreCoin. Buyers and sellers are the same people in Bittrex(Only Market). They set the bid numbers very well. When I am buying KoreCoin, they were swelling up. When I wanted to sell it, they suddenly dropped the buying number. I think there are a team working together for absorb peoples Bitcoins.

Please donate me some btc. They injured my hopes. Sad(( I wanna kill my self.

The best lesson in life can be learned when life kicks the hell out of you. Don't kill your self just because you lost a lot of money. I'm sure you can get back up on track. Take it as a lesson and just think of it as a good opportunity to learn a valuable lesson in trading. Many people had experience what you had, but they're still kicking. Just cheer up!
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did altcoins got so popular? on: August 08, 2017, 02:09:34 PM
Hey all.  I would like to know this.  We all know bitcoin got well know a while back.  But it wasn't until this year when bitcoin hit 1000 dollars when everyone became aware of it.  Then it went up more and more etc.  I did not know much about any other coins besides litecoin.  I had no clue there were so many coins etc.

Well what i want to know is when exactly did all these altcoins got so popular but most importantly, were there lot of discussions of altcoins before bitcoin hit 1000 dollars?  Because had i know about these altcoins, i probably would have gotten a good bit of them at low prices.  I had no clue litecoin was so low price at the start of this year.  Basically every altcoin in the top 25 etc has went up a lot where you could have made so much money etc.

I think altcoins became popular, when bitcoin started to become expensive. People looked for alternatives since trading btc is not quite commendable. The profit in trading altcoins is very promising. A lot of people are earning a lot of money because of altcoin trading. This is one of the best reason I can come up to.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2017, 01:07:55 PM
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?

It might be hard for kids to absorb all the information about bitcoin. Maybe it's better to start with the basic. Kids' have a very short span of time when focusing. Just let them know how good it is to save and earn money while playing. And the importance of saving money for the future. But, it's not really ideal to teach kids about money at young age. They should be enjoying their time as a kid.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good idea to buy altcoins when they crash?? on: August 08, 2017, 12:46:33 PM
Hello fellow members Smiley

I was browsing coinmarketcap and was looking at the most fallen coins of the week... So i saw one at -97% over one week period and was wondering it would be a good idea to invest in it and similer ones cause they are at bottom and almost can't go any more down...

Is this a good idea/strategy??

Btw i am not looking at this as long term investment, just some quick bucks by day trading kinda.

Thankss

I think it all depends on what coin are you referring too. There are different reasons why coins price fall. If it's a shitcoin that's pumped by some dude and decided to let it down the drain, then it's not good to invest into it. And there are some coins that are highly manipulated by people such as ETH, I think this would be a great time to buy. Just check the coin first and read some news about it before doing something.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we please get back a little bit of the original ideology of crypto. on: August 08, 2017, 08:48:10 AM
Look make your money on centralised ICOs and piles of shitcoins but please can we just return to a small amount of why bitcoin was invented. The recent Google memo story reminds me how much power is in a few hands of people who clearly dont want freedom but bondage for us and our childrens future.

Along the way of making money we got to remember this is about taking control away from a minority and giving it to everyone. Personal freedom, truthful media, freedom of speech, freedom of finance and ownership. I miss the days where at least people talked about it. Now its just make as much fiat as you can on the journey of bastardizing the vision of a decentlized free world.

I think in the old world it's almost the same. People are greedy too, it was just that, nowadays people are just more aggressive and persistent. With the opportunities that the crypto currency world opened to the people. People would most likely pursue it, because it's an easy way to earn money. The only difference that I see in the past is that, people in the past aren't that knowledgeable about the opportunities, that's why people from the past are less aggressive and controlling.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 08, 2017, 08:08:49 AM
I really love and hate altcoins because I've been through so much after all the years now
I've made a lot of profit and lost a lot too
But I really like this
It's kinda raw somehow

I think it happens to most of us. There's a lot of altcoins appearing each month, and each has it's own potential. Some altcoin shows potential in the early part and becomes passive in the long run. Some would be too passive in the market and blooms in the long run. So, it's really hard to speculate which is good to invest.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: August 03, 2017, 11:57:44 AM
The world is run by the state-bank alliance.  The top politicians and bankers jointly profit from inflating the values of money and debt with state power -- this system couldn't survive without either side.

See Dissecting the Parasitocracy.

The interesting thing is, if you buy and hold gold and Bitcoin for the long term, you can benefit.  (Just make sure you don't buy when the global empire is rising, like the 1950s or early 1990s.)  The reason is also due to the nature of the state-bank alliance.

Note that, in this alliance, the top politicians contribute state power, while the top bankers contribute financial know-how.  The politicians, being totally ignorant in this high-stakes and specialized game, are basically led around like children.  They just go along because they benefit from issuing huge amounts of public debt without being punished by the 'markets.'

So here's the problem with this alliance.  When financial asset values collapse (and this day will come, due to the incentives faced by the elites) and everyday people suffer, the politicians will put all the blame on the bankers.  The reasons are obvious (and there is no loyalty in that game,) and the politicians are going to win that argument.  The biggest such events in history include the Spanish Inquisition and the Nazi Holocaust.  In our day, politicians like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have already gone after the bankers.

Knowing that, the bankers and central bankers must prepare a last-ditch rescue for a worst-case scenario, when all trust in the system is gone.  That rescue will be some non-state-issued asset, like gold, silver, and Bitcoin, that the elites can peg their money to (at a high price for the non-state asset,) stabilize their system, and ease the suffering.  Even if the bankers think there's only a small chance for such an occurrence, it will be so devastating to the bankers that they must prepare for it.

So, the elites will try to suppress non-state assets, but won't kill them, even when given a chance.  In the long run, this presents something like a one-way bet for these assets, at current prices.

Both of them are good investments, they have good value and it will still rise in the future. Gold is really valuable ever since, it's value is almost like bitcoin. It's really unpredictable. Who knows how much it will grow in the future. It's exciting to see their value 10 years from now.
814  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bully Problem on: August 03, 2017, 11:34:56 AM
Help me guys, I want to get rid of my bully friends but they are my true friends. A while ago I almost cried, my feelings got hurt again they were bullying me and they involved my parents.

Tell your friends that you're not feeling good with what they're doing. True friends treat each other nice. It's ok to joke around sometimes but if it's too much and you're hurting someone it should be stopped. I'm sure you can find more friends, done hold on to someone who doesn't treat you well.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 03, 2017, 07:47:25 AM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!

It all depends on your needs. Well, if you really don't need to withdraw it then don't. If you need some money and then withdraw. But, I think the best thing to do if you can is to hold on to your BTC. We can't speculate how much it will grow, but just grab the risk because it has a lot of potential. But, keep in mind if you only have a cent worth of BTC you will not gain a lot. A bigger capital will give you a higher income.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is not regulated in some countries? on: August 03, 2017, 07:01:32 AM
Some says, Bitcoin is legal and few says it's not. May I know the reason why it is not legal to use Bitcoin in some countries, for example, in my country, we are not allowed to use Bitcoin to purchase any items or goods. Why they can't legalize it? What was the reason behind it?

I'm not quite sure why, but I think it all depends on the establishments or maybe the government if they will allow transactions through crypto currencies. In my country, only few establishment honor BTC as payment. Maybe government also has something to do with it. Maybe your government doesn't want to honor it because they don't have full control over it.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 02, 2017, 05:26:09 PM
Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin

Well, I've started here 2010 and the first two altcoins I've seen that year was Litecoin and Dogecoin. I think this two would last even after so many years. I don't know if that's a good news because the potential of this coins are too low. Their value was almost the same since I started entering the cryptocurrency world.
818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: August 02, 2017, 03:52:01 PM
In this technological era, some advancements have potential to make our world cleaner and greener. Do you think that it is possible? That people would start doing it in their own little ways that they can eventually have an impact on our environment?

Lots of scientific studies are out there being researched and developed, for example, the artificial photosynthesis. It's where you make a plastic coating of some sorts that will get CO2 or something and make cleaner air. That's where it's going to boom when it's practical to make for everyone to use.

Do you believe that the research papers now can have an impact? Cite examples and do you think that it's possible?

People should start considering using renewable energy. I don't see any negative effects of using it. Actually it has a lot of benefits, it helps preserve natural resources, it's eco friendly, it helps on lessening pollution and it can also help us save a lot of money. If all people would just use it, we might even help preserve the nature and also lessen pollution.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about them WAVES!!?? on: August 02, 2017, 10:09:07 AM
Who's holding WAVES or thinking about getting WAVES??  What are you guys most excited to see about the WAVES!!?

I'm planning to get some waves. I think it has a good potential and it will increase it's value in the long run. It would be worth investing as waves has been one of the most in demand alt coin. Maybe in the future the demand on waves will increase a lot. So, I think now is the best time to hold waves.
820  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mining machine to your workplace on: August 01, 2017, 10:53:14 AM
Hello everyone,

Is it a good idea to bring your own mining machine/computer to your office/working place intentionally to be free the bill of your electricity consumption?
Ilan ba sa inyo ang gumagawa/nakagawa/gustong gawin ang ganitong idea?

Usap tayo...

Well, possible ito kaso hindi ba't considered na pagnanakaw  ang gagawin mo? As an employee you should be professional. Okay lang sana mag mining kaso as you all know hindi ideal dito sa Pinas kasi sobrang mahal ng kuryente dito. And, siguro as long as you're willing to face the consequences kapag nahuli ka. Pwede ka materminate at masira ang record or worst makasuhan ka pa ng company nyo. So, ano pipiliin mo? kumita o magkaroon ng bad record? It's up to you.
