..

That might be the case. Anyone else having speed issues with stock bios RX series?

yea look through the pages since the 9.0 release seem like RX's are suffering

my 2 rx480 arent very stable as yet i've still not found the best dcri value

Masternodes with pos coin! I don't think so.

why not? tx is pos with masternodes and so is synx there are probably some others but those two spring to mind the type of pos would probably need to change from percentage based rewards to static though
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POSW] POSW COIN | Earn Monthly Dividends in Profit-Driven Growth Coin on: April 11, 2017, 09:45:11 AM
how exactly diveded is being spread?
do i need to keep my posw coin and poswallet.com only at the end of the month or should i keep them there for the whole month?

and how much do i get? 3% a year?

thanks!

the dividends depend on different factors so its not percentage based, they're divided by the holders of the coin the more coins you hold the higher your percentage of the total will be (afaik)
example - posw has 1000 coins to distribute you hold 1% of all the posw coins you'd recieve 100 posw

as long as your coins are in either your posw staking wallet or your desktop wallet(doesnt need to be running) at the time of the snapshot you'll recieve dividends

lol, they are two different people Smiley

That is right we are 2 different people lol I'm no dev as I wouldn't even know where to start to become a dev. I am here to support this project as I really like this coin and the dev for all he has done so far and will continue to support him and 1337 coin for as long as it lives.

+1, still annoyed about my old account tbh. up to 83 mill 1337 now one day i'll reach my target Cheesy

havent heard any news on w00t or from velvet for awhile now hope he's all good

Been a holder since long time, will continue to hold for long time!
why did you hold it for so long times? seems there is no DEV, i bought this coin 6000sat , sell them 900sat Cry

thats something you'll possibly regret
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POSW] POSW COIN | Earn Monthly Dividends in Profit-Driven Growth Coin on: April 10, 2017, 10:32:45 PM
so i tried to log to poswallet and i get this message:

"These special characters not allowed: ? . % ` " , ; : * . Please reset password."

few months ago you insist the the password should have these characters...........

but why would you not allow special characters? that's actually very good for security...

not so bad if its only those 3 characters tbf
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.0 (Windows/Linux) on: April 09, 2017, 07:51:03 PM
The main reason for fluctuations  for 9.0 vs 8.0 is low Dcri.
For my rx470 if i set dcri less than 23 for example i notice that the power graph provided by afterburner will fluctuate every few seconds , showing that GPU power is reduced for some reason , and it happens like a clock , if i increase dcri the problem disappear .

im in a weird boat

both cards are rx480 8GB ones a sapphire the others an asus. if i set dcri to 25-35 the asus speed dips, if i set dcri to 40-50 the asus runs smooth if hot and the sapphire speeds dip. so i tried setting dcri to 30, 45 in my conf and the sapphire speed still dips  Huh

ive left it at those settings as im getting 41-48mh eth and 2gh dcr

Whoever has so many coins can benefit alot from mega pump, and all that is needed for mega pump is for dev to say "Hi"!
you are right , Investors should look forward to the return of developers, developers only need to say hi , that will pump the price up a lot, and they will get a considerable profit on SYNX.
but it seems DEV will never see "hi". Cry

I have a prediction.  If the Actual DEV came in and simply said "hi", the stock price would hit .043237  and hover around there for a few days, then drop back down to .02 for a long time.

Words of wisdom
-Tuppy

wise words indeed. Still its been what 2 months since the devs even been online, I'm kinda pessimistic about this one but will continue to hold because why not and just in case
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.0 (Windows/Linux) on: April 07, 2017, 07:31:17 PM

Still getting the error... says
ETH Job timeout, disconnect, retry in 20 sec...
Just continues to run timeout error until I stop.  I can go into single mode and run Eth no problem. (V8 not V9)

Ok.... Got the pause to work.  It is saying that "EthDcrMiner64.exe" is not recognized as an internal or external command?
Look in your folder to see if the exe is still there. I've had my A/V delete it and then the bat opens and insta-closes.

pita when that happens  Cheesy

the eth job timeout could just be down to not setting the correct mode for the pool i think thats what kept happening to me when i switched from nicehash to ethpool a few months back, im a bit confused as to how your getting that error if ethdcrminer64 cant be found the bats in the same folder right?
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.0 (Windows/Linux) on: April 07, 2017, 06:27:50 PM
@Claymore,

Could you please check memory controller load? As others stated some cards randomly gets lower load on memory controller and this causes decreased hashrate.

For instance, my average hash rate should be around 264,5 MH/s for my 9 gpu rig. But it displays effective hourly rate around 205.0 MH/s.

I have tested this for more than 7 hours and this is the case for me. Even on ETH only mining using fine tuning and low power bios.

I have exacty the same behaviour. Hashrate reduces randomly when mining decred. Lower -dcri doesnt setting does not help it.
I think this problem is from your settings or pool where you mine. Thats why you have hash rate drop

Its not the pool. Miners shows the hashrate drops too.

It is not the pool is the miner. I reported twice that the hashrate flutuate from 29-24 and 24-29 on each gpu randomly and total average hashrate is lower, back to asm 0 (I have 6xRX480) the dcr is around 500 not 800 but hashrate is stable. Confirm -asm (new kernel) is not stable for RX480

my 480's also fluctuate mildly on the new version dropping from 47 to 36 for a few seconds at a time Im running 2 RX480's at first i thought it was the dcri settings so spent some time adjusting it but regardless of the value it still fluctuates. average hashrate still seems ok though the decred improvements are pretty dam great though

So I have been mining using Claymore Dual V8 but could never get anything other than ETH to work.

I tried to switch to Claymore V9 today to see if I could get it up and running.  I tried just ETH but as soon as the mining window opens and starts to scroll, the miner shuts down and closes the window.

There are no logs to view and it happens so fast that I can not even tell what script says in the window before closing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Bones

put pause on a new line at the end of your script (windows) and see what error you get

How many coins you need to hold to be considered a Node, or Masternode?

i dont think okcash supports masternodes

whats everyone getting with claymore9 on the rx480 8gb oc? unmodded bios

2* rx480 8GB stock with -dcri 42 getting 46-47MH eth 1950-1960Mh Dcr still playing to find most stable value

8gb-sapphire-radeon-rx-480-nitroplus-oc-14nm-polaris-pcie-30-8000mhz-gddr5-1208mhz-gpu-1342mhz-boost cards, ones running the display so giving slightly lower hashes otherwise itd be ~48/~2000

Good stuff.
Not many people interested in it though..

it would be better to buy POSW in the actual poswallet...

I use cryptopia more tbh looking forward to trex and one day poly  Smiley

best ico investment this year Cheesy though i think the sale was last year, seriously though got roi keeping the rest
roadmap graphics looking pretty sweet.

817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1337 [MANDATORY UPDATE] 83.5% APR| FORK ON THE 11TH OF MARCH on: April 03, 2017, 09:30:04 PM
Yup. Confirmed. Recently I download snapshot and move all 1337 coins to PoSWallet, I can't use wallet on linux.

This is snapshot for 24.03.2017: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1378653.msg15734992#msg15734992

I use linux, still on mint and even the most recent 1337 release does get stuck/fork from time to time. I get round it by syncing the chain on my windows desktop and transferring a pain in the ass really but I can run my linux machine 24/7 as it only pulls ~120w raspberry pi's are better for power but not performance I run quite a few wallets simultaneously.

Difficulty has actually gone up in the last few days.

How are you going to swap when the dev said he hasn't abandoned the coin?
He even has a release of a gui wallet planned for the 15th of this month according to the homepage.

from previous posts I thought the dev had abandoned this coin, thats what happens when you only read the current page I guess. if he hasnt and theres active development then theres no need people are probably worried because he hasnt logged in for a few days
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NNC] NicNac Coin - Nithrius, a digital ecosystem on: April 02, 2017, 05:09:39 PM
So, no new exchange?

Not at the moment. We have three OTC orders, WTS 50K @ 50 sat, 50K @ 10 sat and WTB @ 5 sat (not sure about the amount he wants to buy).

Also I'm curious about how many of you would want a swap for a Scrypt PoS coin or some other algos. Since there are just a few miners the network is pretty weak and susceptible to attacks.

i give vote to swap to new chain

+1

pos is probably the way forward with this one, scrypt pow couldnt hurt
