You are on the right track. The conf creates itself and nodes are hardcoded, however, Coderz reccomended to delete the file before running. Just sticking to official instructions. Also, some people had success with that same bootstrap. Pitty not working for some of you. Your suspicion about the specific setup of each one of us probably screwing up could be right.

The bootstrap worked for me with patch 6 and it takes about 10 hours to import the blocks. Well it took about 10 hoursw for me. I've had these nodes in conf (which I did not delete), they come from conf, Belgianboy and Nova: addnode=199.26.184.214:22448 addnode=104.236.150.155:22448 addnode=159.203.24.196:22448 addnode=46.101.188.194:22448 addnode=173.18.196.253:22448 addnode=208.68.36.6:22448 addnode=146.185.153.196:22448 addnode=188.166.155.131:22448 addnode=107.170.212.222:22448 addnode=159.203.12.73:22448 addnode=217.175.119.126:22448 addnode=104.236.150.155:22448 addnode=144.76.237.39:22448 addnode=198.245.50.213:22448 addnode=85.255.7.224:22448 addnode=5.157.115.132:22448 addnode=24.228.192.97:22448 addnode=31.223.137.126:22448 addnode=46.101.188.194:22448 addnode=85.145.32.75:22448 addnode=91.121.77.74:22448 addnode=104.236.150.155:22448 addnode=104.237.0.79:22448 addnode=107.170.212.222:22448 addnode=120.24.217.96:22448 addnode=144.76.237.39:22448 addnode=146.185.153.196:22448 addnode=159.203.12.73:22448 addnode=159.203.24.196:22448 addnode=173.18.196.253:22448 addnode=188.68.49.137:22448 addnode=188.166.155.131:22448 addnode=199.26.184.214:22448 addnode=208.68.36.6:22448 addnode=217.175.119.126:22448

ROFL! Mining solo at last!
Seems the 295's were chewing blocks too fast! Had to have guessed it before, damn. Tested with a 280x and worked. Now mining with a 290x. Quite a lot of rejects but getting a block each 4 minutes or so. Try!
Mining not working for me. I mine over 10 Mh/s and get a block every 3 to 4 minutes but then after a few confirms they dissappear from my wallet. They do not even show in the debug console under listtransactions as an orphan or reject. Any suggestions? EDIT: I allready installed new client and deleted all but the conf and wallet.dat and resynced.

Staking does not work for me.
I have 26 millions ESP, when staking was working I used to earn at every hour or so, and since yesterday not one block...
Does ESP still allows staking?

the new update work like a charm with 33 connections! off course with port-mapping.
but no staking until now, Cryptcoderez said that we have to wait until block 670000, so let's wait.
hope the best for the dev and the community of espers.

It's block 667000 we have to wait. Staking worked till 31/3. Normally i have every few minutes. I don't mind i lose stakes, as long everything is fixed and the price rises again.

Yes it's me, the former ESP Billionaire. Sold some to build 5rigs with 30 GTX1070 . Still big believer and very big bag holder. Want the same? Buy and hold!
