2008/2009 feel like very special year for me, I could feel all the people around me are very different compare to before, they have a lot of worries, I overheard one of my respected senior talking about their worry about their pension, worry about the future generation, worry about their job security, a lot of worry, but as a millennial I have no clue why they're so worry about them.
To flash back it today, I'm still unable to understand all their worries, it may be the reason of age-gap, the one age group that felt stronger came from the older generation.
Well, I would like you to describe what's your feeling about 2008 and why it is so special compare to any other year like 2009,2010,2011 etc.
Also bitcoin was born in this particular year, the emotion must be so strong that it drive Satoshi to finally decide to do it.
The nature also got worried in 2008. I think we were facing strong financial crisis then because the world financial crisis started about a year ago then. I could still remember in my country the federal government has to intervene into some bank before there could paid Depositors funds. The worries also metamorphor into different sickness that also takes funds from people and that inturn results in poverty and hunger. |

I don't know why but I have a sneaky feeling LTC is going to do really well in 2019 Q1-2 for some reason. It may be the whisperings of LTC bank licenses and debit card deals or simply last night's chicken vindaloo but my gut is saying that the chicken will arise once more...  Litecoin has been under values over time and I think 2019 it might give a surprise price movement. I was happy when I see it moving over $300 this time last year and today we have a very bad price of around $38. I know almost all the coins has lose over 80% of the highest value and that means we are should expect recovery from all of them but litecoin is peculiar and I think it is going to be the next big things. For those that really want to invest in over sold coins and make good money I believe that now should be the right time. |

Bitcoin is going to move up more than last year this year but it is not going to over perform this year. I think you can trade your tokens in almost all the exchange and some p2p exchange like etherdelta and forkdelter can be used for tokens trading. Other exchanges like binance, bittrex, cryptopia, poloniex also allowed tokens trade. I just checked this aerf at coinmarketcap just now and it seems to have great future as only today when almost other coins are struggling to come out of red it has made around 10% positive changes in pricing. I just come across it for the first time and I will like to do further research on it for possible investments. I was thinking that ethereum or ripple are the two major coins that the whales are putting their eyes on but now I know that there are many coins that are going to give good return if we can invest in them now that there are extremely cheap.

At the expense of the Airdrop, I do not agree that this way you can get enough tokens for which you could get some money. It may have been possible before, but now it's just a waste of your time. Bounty, this is a good source of free altcoins. In 2017 airdrop was one of the major ways to earn free tokens and coins and some airdrops partipant really make good money from the airdrop. I could still remember in December 2017 one airdrops paid me there tokens worth $60. Since then I picked interest in it and I have makes some little money in January and April 2018 but now thing are really bad and airdrops tokens doesn't really worth it again. I have many little tokens in myetherwallet but combine all of them is not worth $5 ! This moment I only focusing on signatures campaigns for earning bitcoin. |

The market is going to recover but the time that is going to happen we don't know yet. It has to be serious swing before we see strong recovering. I believe that now is the time for us to watch and wait until there is a genuine breakouts of the channels. We should not expect bitcoin price movement this year but we need a set up that will cheat the part of upwards price movement. The end of the bearish trend is not here yet but it might be too close to call. I have set the weekly target of 2% profit on the capital amount which is quite easy knowing that BTC swings about 2% on a daily basis and hence it would be an easy target to achieve.
I am achieving the target but as the recent dip was a big one, it took away all the profit I made. So is a stoploss worth a try so that such big dips don't take away the rest of the profit I make ? Should I consider placing a stoploss for such a small target ?
like some of us has said. We actually needs stop loses put in place in other to reduce loses in trading. Cryptocurrencies market is a volatile market and it is good we should understand that if we did not put stop lose in place our capitals might be wiped away in a single price movement. I was also always interested in why the price at ICO does not correspond to the price after the exchange !? Unless administrators and developers can not immediately predict prices? It's amazing to me!
It is truth and I agree with you that those prices did not always match and it might be the fault of developers as most of the projects maybe overrated. Also all the tokens and coins has witnessed this especially since last year and some of them has lose over 99% of the icos price. I think it is important for projects developers to list there idea first and those ideas be rated before asking investors to come in. This market is in cycles and there is an accumulate time and distributions time and were we are now because bitcoin is very cheap I think it is the accumulated time. It is truth that bull run should be expected any moment from next year and this year should be seeing as a recovering face. I think we are to buy this year and makes profits from our purchasing next year. The market is in there needs of funds as it at the state of oversold area. Those who invested in bitcoin way back 2009 had not experienced any bull run before nor have much knowledge about the blockchain technology, yet they took the risk to invest. You and I have witnessed a bull run and heard about the numerous potentials of crypto so why do we still have to feel reluctant to invest in bitcoin. Let's be optimistic about our digital assets because its all we have.
Bitcoin has passed through many stages before getting to the level it is today and many people and enthusiastic has taking it on themselves to see bitcoin survived. I could still remember how in 2011 a miner in my community was selling bitcoin below $1 and nobody was buying it except himself. Now his a billionaire in our local currency and people are saying they didn't know where his wealth come from. I have placed two buying other base on what happened. One of the other is around $2800 and the second is when bitcoin break $3700 again as it has tried several times last month to recover above that level. I think we are the time that we expect any of this two things to happen and that was either we go up or price crash down any of this is expected to happen. Investors are also waiting for this to happen.

Most time when bitcoin started recovered most of the coins also recovered and that means the death altcoins are going to recover when the market get bullish. This has happened several time and we should still expect it to happen again in this current market conditions. The bearish trend has dominated the market for close to 14 months now and hope of recovery is not there. I think we should see icos as part of the reasons why people are not investing into cryptocurrencies at the moment because those that was scammed and lose heavily during investments into icos and creating FUD in the market. |

This month, Bakkt implementation will push through or maybe not as what they always do(postpone it) and I see lot of people talked about how it affects the price. Question is will it really make the price soar/higher or this is just an overrated assumption?
I think we are not going to see too much price when bakkt start. Like you said it is really over rated and most of the micro investors are putting their hope on that. The main reason why many see it as the event that should see bitcoin soar is because bitcoin is at oversold area and technically something must happen for us to see serious price movement. People are waiting for that technically set up. |
