8061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crossed $16,700 on: December 11, 2017, 11:14:37 AM
Bitcoin's crazy run is crushing all other digital currencies.
This weekend Bitcoin will rich $20,000?

I had been telling people, when it was 13k again, stock up cause with the future's coming rally shall begin. It's important to know when to invest and when to get out, if you can hold for a year then leave it and you'll grow rich, plus add to this all the forks and mother of all forks segwit2x whenever it comes, we're going to be rich. Jealous people can cry and cry, but like Bitcoin we don't care. We can see 20k very soon and 25k at max before 2017 ends.
8062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Is Bitcoin A Giant Ponzi Scheme?♨♨♨ on: December 11, 2017, 11:11:02 AM
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate sources

Is Bitcoin a giant Ponzi Scheme?

Another complete bull shit argument, do you know what a ponzi scheme is, when they sell you a product or a tree model how in the world is bitcoin a ponzi scheme, no one tells you to invest money, you do it for your personal greed and then come up with false argument that it's a ponzi, this is often spread by centralized banker's to keep Bitcoin enthusiastic away from it, stop falling prey to it.
8063  Economy / Gambling / Re: Article: Australian gamblers lose a record $24b in a year on: December 11, 2017, 09:51:50 AM
The Age, Melbourne, Australia
Nick Toscano

Australian gambling losses have hit an all-time high after punters burned through nearly $24 billion in a year, more than half of which was poured into poker machines at pubs and clubs across the country.

New government statistics reveal pokies losses grew 4.2 per cent nationally, roughly double the rate of inflation to reach $12 billion in 2015-16, while sports betting remained the fastest-growing form of gambling.

Haha 24Billion in gambling that's quite a huge amount, look like Australia is turning out to be a bigger hub for Bitcoins gambling, I knew Australians liked to gamble but to gamble so much and so high is crazy. This shows that bitcoin is being quiet popular in Australia and this a good thing. I am sure on my next trip there I'll definitely play out there, gambling casinos hubs are always welcome. Plus the very fact that they like to gamble with bitcoins is a big plus.
8064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: December 11, 2017, 09:20:52 AM
Barcelona is all but clear to take the crown of LA Liga unless they falter, but that's not really barca style to throw away the league like this. Real Madrid showed some old form and that's really good to see that Ronaldo is back in form, but I feel it's to late, even if Real do spend in January window they won't catch up and only settle for second place. It's only a few days before we see Diego back, he'll be hungry and he can help Madrid fire up, but he'll have to settle for Europa glory.
8065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Bitcoin Fees Are Outrageous ♨♨♨ on: December 11, 2017, 09:10:07 AM
90% of all bitcoin owners have less than 0.1 BTC each

the fees to transfer $100 worth of BTC cost around $25. that is outrageous

While I agree that the fees are high sometime this happened with me, on three occasions I had to transfer 1k each via Bitcoins, so first I incurred a 12$ fee, second time 6$ and third 1.45$. From what I understand is that during different time's there are different fees charged best is to transfer in the middle of the night and then see the difference, all you need to change your time of transactions and you'll benefit, check this method and post here.
8066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 11:41:41 AM
I can answer my question by saying that bitcoin has what others don't and that's being the pioneer in the crypto markets. Which is why everything is priced in bitcoin But really....what does bitcoin do better that any other alt? What's the intrinsic value of bitcoin that I can't get with other alt? Transaction fees? No. Fast network? No. scalability? No. A functional product? No. Full anonymity? No. Descentralización? No. So? The markets are priced in bitcoin, and being that base of value is pretty important, but...is that it?

For me Bitcoin is my pathway to be free from those corporates who wish to stick shit on my face at work, a financial tool to help me grow in life. Coming to its main features, I would say it's simple and easy to buy it and sell it, no one can ever know how much one has. It's a price's always shoot up and up and it's best. Plus decentralised is the best features and I love it. People may call it bubble shit, but they are just jealous, Bitcoin is simply the best.
8067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple way to earn Bitcoins through Gambling and Casino games. on: December 10, 2017, 11:13:55 AM
In the event that you are hunting down a straightforward approach to gain Bitcoins on the web, you may take a stab at betting. Be that as it may, while it may appear to you as pain free income, gaming has various dangers which should be considered. In the accompanying article, we have laid out for you a few sites worth looking at while experimenting with your good fortune: Bitcoin Gambling. We don't ensure that you win, which is the reason we emphatically prescribe you to play just on the off chance that you have some underlying funding to spend. Then again, who knows, possibly you will luck out and increase your crypto.

If I understand clearly then you're saying people to gamble and make money? How in the world is this a sound strategy? You have easily said it, and I don't find this a safe or a strategy. I love gambling, but never to make money it's always using my surplus money, and I only like to play at reputed sites like bitdice, pd, chip and other sites but people can go to wrong site and loose money to.
8068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 10, 2017, 11:08:34 AM
Today's match between India Vs Srilanka proved the classic example that employees don't perform when the boss is not in office. Though Ms Dhoni is not what he used to be, but like they say old is gold, he passed the litmus test. I am kind of disappointed by India performance, Lanka has already lost 3 wickets, some support for Dhoni, and maybe team India would have won. I am lucky I woke up late, and had not placed a early bet on India to win, it's boring that way they threw the match away.
8069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 10, 2017, 08:02:24 AM
Guys wanted your opinion, since it's Manchester Derby tonight, and I was thinking of playing a good hand on Manchester United, now what happens, if there is snow and the match has to be called of, or mid match it snows and one team is declared winner based on their goal, is it a wise idea to play a early gamble or its not? My bet is to play Manchester United winning it huge, what do you'll suggest should I wait for playoff or place a bet early, and what do you think I should bet minimum 500 or 1k?
8070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stay calm to BTC. on: December 09, 2017, 10:57:42 AM
What I want to express does't mean BTC's price will decline.
We all know its recent price makes lots of people crazy.
Someone said this is a very suitable chance to invest compared to the history.
After almost 3 weeks' big rallies (from $7000 to $15000), it starts to fall by small steps.
Obviously, there are many topics about BTC's price, including what price will BTC reach to and so on, showing up in this forum.
I have to admit that i start to pay attention to BTC because of its high price.
We should keep calm to its price fluctuation and positive to BTC.
It's normal.

Dear Op Bitcoin Santa helper has heard you and will convey your message to satoshi and Bitcoin. There are all kind of rumour's happening. This one link says Bitcoin will crash to 1k and then jump 60k😂. If btc were to crash that low people will commit suicide and it shall be a dangerous situation for entire economy. I don't know where's it heading to, but it's looking dangerous as of now. One should really be careful of purchasing at high level.

8071  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Some Speculating Bitcoin To Crash? on: December 09, 2017, 09:25:16 AM

I could not understand why there are those who are also in Bitcoin yet are predicting that Bitcoin can go as low as $3,000 or even  $5,000 when a crash can happen soon. I am not saying that a dip -- a big dip -- will never happen but considering the things happening right now in the world of cryptocurrency, I don't believe that it can go as low as those figures.

Maybe if one day USA will decide to follow the footsteps of Japan in banning Bitcoin trading activities, then maybe it can be possible that Bitcoin can crash big time but even then it can still be able to recover fast due to people always waiting for an opportunity to buy Bitcoin cheaply.

Are you expecting Bitcoin to get so low once it crashed?

There may be some falls over a period of time, and that's quite normal, but do I expect a full crash nope. Why I am positive that USA shall never ban, Bitcoin is that the future's got permission from their regulator's, and since they have thier approvals and so much USA money involved in Bitcoins, I do not expect it to crash anytime soon or that USA to ban it ever. I would always say, buy on every dip, 40k is definitely coming.
8072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Zealand Regulator: Cryptocurrencies Are Securities on: December 09, 2017, 08:17:23 AM
New Zealand's finance regulator has released new guidance on initial coin offerings (ICOs) and cryptocurrencies.
In a statement published last week, the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (FMA) outlined the ways in which token sales would be covered under national law. Notably, the regulator said that, in its view, any cryptocurrency or ICO-derived token would be considered a security.

What do you think? New Zealand could be a good destination to bring your cryptocurrencies into a safe harbour.

I haven't read much on this, but if this were to be true then I am definitely shifting there. New Zealand is one of the most beautiful destination in the world and I would love to retire there with my crypto's. I would love to buy myself a small cabin and scenic view, provided op context is true. One more advantage for Bitcoin, is that New Zealand is a tourism hub, and that shall make it easier for people to roam about without paying in cash.
8073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 09, 2017, 08:13:11 AM
The title says it all get 0.01 btc and you are on ur way to becoming a millionaire, you already are one if you do not know the true value of bitcoins, cough cough Satoshis.  Forget about owning a full bitcoin, you want to earn satoshis, which we call the units of 0 and 1 or Mbits milibitcoins.  Soon a few years from now 1 satoshi will be the equivalent of 1 USD or Euro if money is still around. You know yes most of you missed the billion dollar train but still you have time to have a million dollars worth of satoshis.  so if you do the math owning 0.10,000,000 = 10 million USD  so if you own 0.01 that makes it 1 million dollars.

You are wondering why I am saying bitcoin is worth 100 million dollars right?  We have a long way to go.  Cough cough, Many factors that contribute the value of 1 bitcoin being worth 100 million dollars.  Well Bitcoin is not just a local or gov owned store of value, its competing with Fiat currency all over the world, from USD, to the YEN.  There are many factors I can shoot out but one major one is that Bitcoin is becoming mainstreamed and the fact there is probably going to be 16 million bitcoins in circulation, why I said 16 mil?  because they are probably around 5 million bitcoins lost.  If you want to add to this topic any more factors that reason why you are already sitting on a million dollars, please be free to do so.

Edit: It seems a few of you are agreeing and few are not.  I remember a time the few of you said the same thing about 10,000 USD a bitcoin.  I remember when they said that about 1,000 USD.  Guess what they are all kicking their arses now.

Here is another factor to add that Bitcoin a World Wide curreny that is competing with fiat.

https://www.google.ro/search?q=how+many+people+in+the+world&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-ab&gws_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=b0gmWuzOGOHWjwTI9bz4BQ

Edit:  Another add you should read https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/09/bitcoin-cameron-winklevoss-predicts-multitrillion-dollar-value-for-cryptocurrency.html

Winklevoss just made this prediction as well.

I own more than 0.01 that means I a millionaire cough cough I am not yet lol. Bitcoin rising to levels that we have never seen before, and that is good and bad. First I'll tell you why it's good, with increase in price's, we should see more and more people coming in Bitcoins, more usage for the crypto king. Why I don't like it cause, price increase is being done by the future people, these corporates are here to mess the coin and countries shall end up banning it. Currently I am not a millionaire, but someday hope to be.
8074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: December 08, 2017, 11:28:08 AM
Hello! i want to save money while playing gambling game but i cant really do it because i am really addicted to bitcoin still i have small amount of money to save in my wallet but in the next day i spend it for gambling because i'll always lose in gambling games can someone help me with saving in my wallet and play gambling games at the same time.

This post is like I want to get slim, but I eat pizza daily, lmao, you can't have both things either you gamble or you save. One thing I can suggest is you can keep a 70 to 30% ratio, seventy percent saving and 30% gambling, make a paper wallet and keep it in a bank locker for your savings, rest money use it sparingly to gamble and whatever you earn, keep it aside and loan it, the interest you receive gamble with it, that's all I can advise you.
8075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed transactions || What is the reason? on: December 08, 2017, 10:57:19 AM
To be honest, i have never seen the network being so lazy when it comes on transactions. This is the first time for me to wait this much for a transaction to be confirmed after paying the recommended fees for it. There are more than 220k unconfirmed transactions in the network right now and increasing every second. Why are the transactions not getting confirmed? What is the reason for the network to get stuck this much?

Op what you're referring to is called congestion and it's happening for quiet a while now, this is nothing new and most of us here know it. Well it's always is due to the amount of fees, even if it's due fees as per transaction
I remember in last few days I made 1k transactions twice, once I paid 12$.and it went in a zifffy, second time due fees was 1.45$ and it took a longer time. In the end its down to miners who earn the fees, and try and do transactions during the night it confirms faster.
8076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 08, 2017, 09:05:15 AM
Man United vs Man City
December 10, 2017, Sunday.
16:30 (local time)

Odds (ML):  Man United - 3.44.  Man City - 2.20.  Draw - 3.56

Be there or be square.  Grin

This is it guys!  The biggest fixture (IMO) in the EPL this year.  Will we see Man United mix it up and play two strikers up like they did at Arsenal or will we see Mou park the bus against Man City's all out attacking style of football?

Same with City, will Pep play Jesus and Aguero in a 3 - 5 - 2?  I think yes!  So excited.

This year I can say officially Barca and Madrid won't earn the audience that Manchester United and Manchester City will get. This is match where one team just will attack and the second one will sit back and counter attack. It is pertinent to note that Jose has a home record of Sunday and I am sure Pep is jealous lol. This match will sum up if there is any life left in the Premier League left. It is important that Manchester United win, and as a Manchester United fan, I really am excited to see them win.
8077  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we see bitcoin price 20k by jaunary 1st 2018 on: December 08, 2017, 08:51:57 AM
will we see bitcoin price continue going up or will it crash?

I feel it's quite possible to see it before the year end and I feel so cause there's a good resistance levels at 15k. Also with the two future's lined up on 10th and 18th December we could see a further rise in the prices and it's possible that we may see it early as Christmas, as more and more people shall buy it at one eye for the future appraisals, I believe 40k is a small target for 2018. We may as well see 1Lakh usd if all things is good.
8078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to track forks? on: December 08, 2017, 06:25:27 AM
Hi, all when I just checked on the net I saw that btc silver has been forked and it's available to trade. Now I wish to know can we claim this coin using private key? If yes which is it wallet and how do we do it? I am not claiming it now, the same way I doing with gold, once there is clarity it's safe then l'll. Need to know can we or can we not cliam this coins using our private key? Also which other forks are on their way? So will claim all together next year. Thanks in advance for the information.
8079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: December 07, 2017, 11:44:48 AM
nothing suprise in last match group A-D
but iam sad chelsea can't first placed in group C, only second placed under AS roma
so to next stage, chelsea very dificult match, must meet winner another group
Unseeded Chelsea is most likely going to face some tough opposition, maybe Paris St-Germain or Barcelona and this time around teams that have made it are all top class with one or two exceptions to be called underdogs. Lets wait for the Champions League draws.

I am upset that Athletico Madrid and Dormund are not part of top 16, I think Arsenal chance of winning the europa league just took a big hit. Chelsea facing Psg could be nice, Psg are suffering and it will be interesting, how do they cope with conte tactics. I am very much excited for the draw, Manchester United my favorite team is back and I really hope they can win champion league. I am waiting to see City against big teams how well they do, they really are playing some amazing football this season.
8080  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 07, 2017, 11:24:34 AM
is there any official announcement for these recent bitcoin forks? I checked the previous 2 pages and I didn't see anyone talking about them.

these days it seems like there are going to be a lot of forks. at least 5 forks are scheduled for December starting with 15th of Dec! and it would be great if we  could get these coins for the balance that we keep on freebitco.in otherwise we would have to keep withdrawing before the snapshot is taken and deposit back.
and if I am not mistaken at least 1 snapshot was taken after bitcoin gold one. it was called "bitcoin Liza". all I know is that Yobit credited their users' accounts with the tokens which they are trading.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2257164.msg22888636#msg22888636
Freebitco.in will support/allow withdrawal of forks , if they have a working wallet and blockchain.

In that link Myfe talks about two past forks but not about the upcoming ones. I think it is very likely that they are going to follow the same policy but until I see Myfe saying it or an announcement on their website I won’t be 100% sure.

I hope this is the case, because their policy about forks has made it easier for customers to do whatever they want, exchange of withdraw, just after the fork, whereas in some other faucets and casinos they just don’t give you any coins, or they only give you the option to withdraw them, and even some exchanges don’t give you the option or they implement the exchange option later on.

Freebitco.in always has one simple policy in place, as and when a fork is confirmed it shall put a notice on it's  site, and if a fork is successfully completed, it shall credit you with a certain amount as and when it's confirmed there is a working wallet. Freebitco.in will never give out any money, unless there is a wallet for the fork and that is working well. Normally all the news are posted on their site, I think you may have missed it.
