Can you tell us if you have any skillz?
8082  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: December 12, 2015, 03:19:43 AM
Got it, thanks.  its as simple as vanitygen.exe (input) without the brackets obviously...... haha  Grin brilliant

is there a chart on how long it takes depending on the amount of character?  ive already noticed the differance between just a 1+3 characters over a 1+4 characters.

The time will be multiplied by 58 for each character you add.  If it takes you half an hour for a 50% chance of a match then adding another character will give you 1.3 days for a 50% chance of a match.  This is approximate and there are exceptions such as stringing many 1's together but it is a fair estimate generally.

I have a question about generating vanity address.
Is there a way to generate address with rented hashes? (For example nicehash)
If yes, how ?

How difficult is the prefix you want to generate?  I don't mind making one for free as long as I don't have to run my machine for too long.
See the post above yours for instructions.  If you have several different prefixes I can run that too in a file using one public key from you.
8084  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: December 11, 2015, 03:39:01 PM
I tried running vanity gen in order to get an address with the prefix 1King1 but it was showing that I'll have to wait for 10 days in order to reach a probability of 50% only! Shocked

I think my processor sucks! (Intel Core 2 Duo) Cry

Moreover the gen makes my computer laggy most of the times. I can't even open Task Manager!

I will make you several 1King1 addresses in seconds if you give me a "Step 1 Public Key" from bitaddress.org

Go to the site bitaddress.org, move your mouse around to add the randomness required then click on the "vanity wallet" button.  On that page look at "Step 1" - you will see a "generate" button.  Click it.
Copy the "Step 1 Public Key" and post it in a msg to me.  Copy the "Step 1 Private Key" and keep that to yourself.  You will need it when I send you my part private keys to combine to calcualte your addresses and corresponding private keys.  You will recombine them in that same vanity wallet window and it will give you your private key (you have to do one at a time).

8090  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How do you get free power? on: November 24, 2015, 01:00:01 AM
I round up bums, and dangle $10 and a few beers in front of them while they walk in a big hamster wheel hooked to a generator.  Grin

Yeah good luck with that.  If bums were willing to work for money and beer, they wouldn't be bums.  You'd have more success with big hamsters.
8091  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: RatesBTC live bitcoin price at any currency. on: November 13, 2015, 04:08:53 PM

Why you guys keep making live BTC to ANY OTHER CURRENCY if there's the best one... preev.com ?
There are already more than 15 btc to X websites ...
Damn stop losing money on this :p

I have implemented price service for another project.
You can use this service as alternative or verify price of other services. I use more exchanges and different formula. Also competition is always good Wink

Also unlike preev.com they don't use LocalBictoins pricing in the aggregate which is awesome since it is almost always skewed to the extreme high side (upwards of 10% over exchange prices).

8096  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: October 22, 2015, 11:59:19 AM
ok why if I put this command in:

oclvanitygen.exe -k -p 1  1-[-_][-_][-_][-_][-_]-[-_]- wherein a - is an uppercase and a _ is a lowercase character (example 1A[Aa][Aa][Aa][Aa][Aa]A[Aa]A)

I get the response:

Invalid character '[' in prefix?

Are you using a special version of oclvanitygen?  Normally you have to use the -r for regular expressions but that only works in vanitygen and not the ocl version.
ie you can't normally use oclvanitygen with regular expressions.
8097  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's play a wholesale game of guess my bra size. (Nsfw....) on: October 21, 2015, 11:13:40 PM
1.  The center panel in the front (also called the "gore") should rest against your skin.
2.  Your breasts are spilling over the cups.

Pierre is correct - you do not know your own bra size.  I think we would need to see your breasts without the bra in order to correctly guess their size.
8098  Other / Off-topic / Re: What in the hell are these guys doing? on: October 21, 2015, 10:09:27 PM
They are obviously pushing colored blocks.

Or are the coloured blocks pushing them?
8099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Vanity Adresses, where can I find them on: October 19, 2015, 05:50:01 PM
Go to bitaddress.org follow the directions on the page when it opens and then use the vanity wallet.
Click on "generate" to generate a key pair.  Give me your public key and hang on to the private key - do not show anyone the private key!  I need the public key to generate addresses that will be encoded in a way that only the private key you generated initially can create the bitcoin address with the result I will send you.

The page will look like this:

Step 1 Public Key:
04E709615ABDE6FAECC1E87878981829BA8BA5F5D5572EB15DB70CBADECC6D8004DC8065D6B368C 6A5323BD00BD25EE100DA1569142BC748BA7BA432039C112FC6

Copy and paste the above into the Your-Part-Public-Key field in the Vanity Pool Website.

Step 1 Private Key:
9622361CCAE4BDE04752DB4FC83B4414E93E17A05AAD18A5569BF9A7F72F3C67

Copy and paste the above Private Key field into a text file. Ideally save to an encrypted drive. You will need this to retrieve the Bitcoin Private Key once the Pool has found your prefix.

 Do you understand?

"
Vanity Bitcoin Address: Invalid input. Could not combine keys.
The above is your new address that should include your required prefix.
Vanity Public Key (HEX): Invalid input. Could not combine keys.
The above is the Public Key in hexadecimal format.
Vanity Private Key (WIF): Invalid input. Could not combine keys.
The above is the Private Key to load into your wallet.

This idiot is just taking the piss.  Thanks for wasting my time Richard.
