I agree to some extent, SD. But the reality is that I decided to learn a bit about trading and since I was following this and seeing the opportunities to make 5-10% on a daily basis I decided to give it a whirl. My appetite for risk is rather low, however. I started off with about .2 and I now have .57 (in ~month), so I can't complain. And I am around the house most of the time right now so all I have to do is set the alarm and wait. If it makes a solid 20% slide and still has support below it you know these idiots will try to prop the price back up to where it was- at least once.  Last couple days the alarm never went off. Today I turned the dang thing off, because it is taking a major slide and I am not comfortable buying in until it finds a new "normal". Since it just broke .00280 I think we will see it touch .0025 before the end of the day- barring some Hail Mary "announcement" from GAWCEO, of course. Speaking of which- we now have "somebody" alluding that he may be Josh on a different account, because those darned pesky Feds are watching his regular account.

https://hashtalk.org/topic/32215/when-will-josh-do-something/12 Archive: https://archive.today/kyIYd

Hard to believe these morons are actually excited about Josh (supposedly) announcing that he has to hide from Johnny Law to keep this scam going so he can steal every last nickle from them.

More "Might be Josh hiding from Johnny Law" gems here: https://hashtalk.org/topic/32217/the-reason-the-honors-program-did-not-launch/14
YaaaH! You are a true hero Homero! Way to show those darned three letter agencies who are in the business of protecting people from getting ripped off by scam artists! They won't stop you!  YaaaY!

Already removed the Admin status and changed the avatar. Nice job catching this before it happened, Paul. This is so obviously Josh. The misspellings, "your" instead of "you're". Classic Josh.

Up-to-date archive file in case this thread gets nuked:

Hmm.. Guess the lemmings noticed the avatar changed so he must have banned himself (?)  Huh

8105  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bter Hacked! on: February 19, 2015, 01:36:45 AM
This is the 2nd time a major hack happened to bter.com, the first one was NXT, now we are dealing with a cold wallet hack. Now you begin to question on how the exchanges are really that secured or some fly by night exchanges that will take all your deposits in a flash once it says it was hacked and gone to oblivion.

"cold wallet" hack claims are simply cover for idiocy in code or bad processing/whatever is running your op, inside jobs, or just overall scammery. ask Mr. Karpeles or Mr. Ganza  Wink
8106  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 19, 2015, 01:32:37 AM
I still hold Paycoin? What can I do?

Sell it ASAP, or wait for another uptrend on that shitty market?    Huh

edit this is not investment advice, it's based on my opinion that this is a big scam. thanks.
8107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 19, 2015, 01:31:46 AM
Why do these people refuse to join Bitcoin? All these shitcoin is just fragmentation, greed and confusion.

Why in my day, we used AOL over dialup, watched our videos on VHS, and the only social network we needed was geocities, by gum. All these newfangled "improvements" just cause fragmentation and confusion!
Are you implying paycoin is an improvement of bitcoin?

Completely centralized (95% of all coins are held by pathological liar/con artist), hyperinflation, zero uses/functions/features, zero core devs, and a community made entirely of greedy/financially ignorant cryptonoobs.

Paycoin is the Blu-ray of crypto. What more could you want?

#innovation

Comparing paycoin to blue-ray? I don't get it.

Paycoin is a pointless clone wrapped in a blanket of scam, but there are alt coins that are innovative. Bitcoin will fade for the same reasons that first-generation technologies always fade. The sooner the better.

i believe he is referring to the fact that blu-ray did not survive and therefore failed. Google is your friend. Wink

Uhmmm... WTF?

Thanks, but no thanks.

That GAWCEO character is creeping me out lately. Acting so weird (or should I say - much weirder than usual) - it can't be the same Mr.Garza, can it?
Well, IMO, he has always been very "unfocused" on a single business task or logical train of thought, which was the primary red flag I saw back at the end of July when the talk of Hashlets first surfaced. There were other ways to properly evolve and monetize his ideas, but he couldn't either A. see them and/or B. understand them and/or C. have the focus/patience to develop them. Regardless, it is apparent he didn't and most likely still doesn't accept the fact that each quantifiable process/phase in building a successful business venture takes discipline and meeting strategic milestones/goals BEFORE starting the next process/phase.

Oh well...  Roll Eyes

Scott-

Nice post thanks. I remember reading a news article not long ago about you "being in his inner circle" at first (before hashlets etc) or something and then it went sour for some reason... Can you tell us your story, or if not, it's fine, just asking, as I'm only curious. I do appreciate all your posts, you are one of the few here (myself not always included, tbh) who treat this with 100% seriousness. Thanks either way.
I do not want to derail this thread more than it usually gets and much of my interaction with GAW/Garza has already been documented, but in a nutshell –

I am a 3rd generation entrepreneur who, like Garza, started young (almost 20 years ago for me). As I have stated to others, when I was first introduced to Garza, a lot of the passion he appeared to have for the crypto hardware business reminded me a lot of myself many moons ago when I started my first real smart card [embedded systems] company; so I took an interest in doing what I could in providing business/technology feedback, information, and suggestions via his various web forums and a few private/small group video conference calls with him. Like others, I also invested about US$10K in hardware for my solar powered home farm and Zen hosted miners. The issues started when simple common sense took a back seat to erratic ideas and wasteful business decisions (July/August of 2014).

Since I have done business in over 25 countries in addition to having lived in Hong Kong and Germany, I had access to the resources needed to dig a little deeper and find out who the real Mr. Garza was and if there was some more info that could be learned in regards to why he was making some of these “odd” decisions – such as his/their cancelation of the free hardware hosting less than 60 days after offering it, taking forever or never shipping hosted miners to owners, doing everything under the sun to convert hardware customers to the upcoming hashlets, and the status of the elusive vaultbreakers. What I found out was very disturbing. When my concerns were voiced, I saw the true side of Garza and was quickly “dealt with” via his now Hashtalk fourm. After further confirmation came in regarding what was really happening behind the scenes, I sold everything I had at an approx. 30% loss and never looked back… well, except to provide the info I had to the proper authorities and those who would listen. The rest is history – or will soon be…

 Scott-

Well i Thank you sir very much and wish you the best. thank you for more truths.  Wink

I think the theory is that if you provide consumer incentive to use XPY, then the buying of XPY will offset the selling by the merchant. XPY will just be the medium of exchange.

It won't work for a number of reasons, but it's not just as simple as looking at current market depth. If people have a reason to buy XPY to use at a retailer, that depth increases.
It  isn't finished yet
cannot be judged yet

Hey Dave, check out how it's "Coming Along" then ....

https://github.com/GAWMiners/paycoin/graphs/commit-activity

Do you get it yet? It's a scam, man, wake up already your wasting our time.  Huh
Oh yeah thanks for that

This one's even better:
https://github.com/GAWMiners/paycoin/graphs/contributors

You can see where the devs disappear. There's one little blip of recent development, but nobody to roll out a new wallet with those fixes.

Yeah I almost posted that instead, but I figured I should really DUMB it down.  Huh

Answer what other guys? I have a few on ignore but if they asked a good question, point it out and I'll answer it.

You said that reading through what I've posted, you think I'm not sure what side I'm on. But you can't point to anything I've posted that is pro-GAW?

Yes. Every single bullshit wall of quoted text post that you make serves GAW. ALL of them. Ands that is pretty much every post you have made here, so YES, you are on GAWs side whether you are aware of that or not.

Thank you Mr. Revere for validating my point.. I get tired of the arguing, tbh.

How does pointing out that JG is lying, and that paycoin is doomed, serve GAW?

Maybe I should help flood the thread with recycled memes whenever something damaging to GAW gets posted, then can we be buddies Paul?

Ok i know you play both sides of the coin cuz you hold too many, it's ok to admit yo.  It's ok to be a bag-holder. So many of us have been scammed in one form or another in our lives, crypto or not. Just pick a side and stick with it, stop flip-flopping, it serves noone's interest in the end especially this thread. Memes are fine. Scroll works for that, or ignore, take a pick. Otherwise, just stop spouting off bs.. we are not about that. this thread is dedicated to a certain person being put behind bars for f'ing over honest people.

Nice... They should be named "MAW" - Morons At Work.

PS - Banana. Is that seriously the best you can come back with? Answer the other guys then, and stop derailing and minimizing the thread with your supposed claim to fame here, cuz we all know it's not true.  Huh

Maybe you wont find the whole uncensored truth at HT, but at least it's better than this place, seriously!

This place improves tremendously with half a dozen ignores.

You can find more intelligence and decorum over on GH.

You'll find almost no truth on HT because telling the truth will get you banned.

I was with you until you said "You can find more intelligence and decorum over on GH. ".

The intelligence bar is set pretty low by things like the conspiratard stuff about Mordica. Or the "evidence" that JG was in Europe because (a) he usually posted late at night, and (b) he started posting during the day, and (c) during the day here is late night in Europe. And the meme shitfloods that are bury anything of significance (although, by Hanlon's razor, that may not be their intention). And dave01.

Thanks for the laugh.

>implying meme's aren't posted on GH
>implying you are of superior intelligence
>implying its not fun to have dave01 around
>implying using your scroll wheel is hard

This.

Gethashing is just a place where former GAW fanatics (the slowest to wisen up) regurgitate info posted in this thread.

This as well.

Having witnessed banana's posts since his arrival, he seems to be confused a lot about which side he is truly on. This makes me think he's an XPY bag holder but is afraid to admit it, but knows it's also a scam, but refuses to admit that as well... Which is it banana? Why are you here if you are "unhappy" with memes and dave-0?   Huh

Edit - This reminds me - Has anyone started a anti-scam thread for GH (whatever coin it is) yet on BCT? That one should be the next scam of the year from what i read earlier about them reselling hardware or cloud mining at excessive prices to yet more crypto-noobs?
