I suggest that you buy ASIC miners directly from bitmain manufacturer or check the other miner here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=76.0

For GPU rigs if your plan is to mine altcoin this section might help https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0

Don't use any 3rd party website like the link you share there are many scammers out there, for safety buy directly to manufacturer.

8102  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Help Me Recover My Bitcoins. on: April 12, 2018, 08:09:56 PM
It might be a firewall issue since your bitcoin still on the bitcoin address generated from trezor it's possible that your internet is blocking your trezor to sync.
Could you try to restart your internet and use other computer to test if it's not a firewall issue.

And let me ask if you could still find your bitcoin address from trezor if where you send your bitcoin from binance.
If ever it's still there try to backup the private key and import it to electrum.
8103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: April 12, 2018, 06:06:38 PM
Well for me I experience this before I think 3 times, but I always fail to make a profit sometimes I win, but I'm not satisfied with the winning amount because I lost a huge amount of money before so instead of withdrawing it I continued playing just to win more amount, but in the end lose everything until my salary deposit to play again and lose.

Finally, I decided to stop playing gambling because I realize that gambling is made just for fun and obvious that we will lose our money in the end, but there are some people are lucky that they can still win a big amount that never happen to me.
8104  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MineFarmBuy? on: April 12, 2018, 05:49:00 PM
Why T1 dragon mint miner is too expensive?

The halongmining.com is selling this miner around $1300-$1500 last November, your price for T1 dragon mint miner is $5000?

For those newbies I suggest you to directly buy on manufacturer site just to be sure that you are safe.

There are many scam website I just wanted to let people safe.

The price for S9 is cheap.

So, what is our assurance that we can receive the unit directly to our home?

Since you are newbie we can't trust you for selling mining hardware.
8105  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Happen Bitcoin OMG 8100$ ?? on: April 12, 2018, 05:26:57 PM
I don't see any news that can quickly push the price until $8k above, but my friends telling me that someone is investing a lot in bitcoin.

I found an article here https://www.ft.com/content/3d52eec8-3e54-11e8-b7e0-52972418fec4

According to this article, Santander is planning to use blockchain tech for their new foreign exchange.

Quote
Santander, the large Spanish lender, plans on using blockchain technology for a new foreign exchange payments system.

So this is the only reason that I think why the price jump at $8k then because of the day traders the price right now drop around $7700.

Well, hope that the price will continuously increase more soon because of this news.
8106  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2.4.1 NOT syncing. on: April 11, 2018, 01:05:52 PM
hi can anyone provide a solid IP and port to sync to, it's been a few days and nothing is working.

im going to switch over to Windows TOR wallet since this version im using isnt syncing well.
Just use the manual option in electrum wallet, click the green circle then uncheck select circle automatically after that type or choose walle.dedyn.io with port 50002

This server is working fine to me.

Better to always use the latest electrum wallet if you are having issue with old version of wallet. For me, 3.0.6 version is working fine to me.
8107  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Dontworry2much.com recovered my bitcoins after forgetting password on: April 10, 2018, 10:57:18 PM
I never heard this site before I'm trying to search any reviews on google and here in the forum, but nobody mentions this website before.

I check this site from the archive.org it only had 3 records in 2017 and according to whois the owner is living in Israel his name is

Yosef Yaaqov.

How this service safe?
8108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price reaches $20.000 this year? on: April 09, 2018, 11:31:39 PM
This year has a different graph of the price, unlike last year that the price continuously increases.

Bitcoin is unpredictable we don't know if the price could still reach near $20,000, but since bitcoin had experienced before with burst price increase and drop past years ago I think that bitcoin can reach $20,000 maybe this year. So, let us wait for this coming June or July if we can see any price movement change and reach $10,000 again expect that the price will continue to rise.

If no one will spread FUD or adding a new regulation that can affect the price value then the price of bitcoin continuously increases.

One of the reasons why the price decreases it's because of FUD that is why people are selling their bitcoin before the price drop and now they are using any well-known blogs and website they can easily spread FUD's.

So it's hard to know if the price can still reach $20,000 or not.
8109  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: is it possible to import Armory wallet into any other wallet? on: April 08, 2018, 08:56:58 PM
Type or paste your English text here and click on the "Check Text" button.

Yes, its possible you can sweep or export private keys individually if what bitcoin address with balances that you can import into electrum or other wallets that accept private keys like mycelium or coinnomi wallet on mobile.

The seeds of the armory are different so it's not compatible with electrum so I suggest that you export the private key instead.

I stop using this wallet, but I found a guide how to get the private keys. Follow the step below

Quote
  • Open Armory
  • Double click on the wallet that contains the address you sent funds to
  • Double click on the address that you sent funds to
  • Click on "View Address Keys"
  • Enter your password and click Unlock

8110  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: First Crypto Hardware Wallet for Smartphone ? on: April 07, 2018, 11:08:41 PM
@BitMaxz
Yeah, but we must give a chance to any new service/product, more we have more it makes the crypto adoption possible. Most of the people find not easy to use Bitcoin so providing a friendly product help with this.

Well, I just wanted newbies and others to aware what could possibly risk can happen if they use unknown hardware wallet.

If you can afford to buy and ready to risk your money why not and give us a review about this hardware wallet so that other people know how this wallet works and what are the differences of using this wallet than the other hardware wallet.

@RGBKey
I own a Ledger and believe me I didn't know it is possible to use on a smartphone device and have no idea how to do since it needs a USB cable (?)

You can use a usb on-the-go adapter which converts a male USB type A to a male micro usb. You can plug the cable from your ledger into the adapter, and into your phone. More info is here
Additional info for the USB OTG cable for Android and Iphone, this is what it looks like

8111  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Amazon GC no longer available through Gyft - Alternatives? on: April 06, 2018, 10:31:20 PM
I found a thread where I think you can buy amazon gift card or coins or directly to your email, but this is not the same as gyft or a website unlike the other website they mention here in your thread, but he is member of this forum so you can deal with him directly.

Check his thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1789747.0

I hope that you can use escrow if you are deal a huge amount of bitcoin to him.
8112  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC down to 6654 in Japanese time on: April 06, 2018, 10:08:55 PM
As of now the price is stable around $6600, but the market holders are still panic selling maybe this is because of the news about banning bitcoin in india.

This is just like what happened in the past years ago and i think this is another FUD that is why the price keeps falling again below $7k.

I dont understand why people think that Bitcoin will go up again ?
Bitcoin was banned by Facebook and by Google the biggest ADS companies in the wolrd. Isnt that a good reason for it to stay at that rate ?
I think this is not a big reason why the price drop and honestly Bitcoin is not banned in google and facebook they have just added a new policy due to many ICO scammers. They are asking for legalization of any investment project since ICO's are part of investment they regulate and verify if its real project or not.

Bitcoin is not actually banned if you have a bitcoin business you just need to verify that your business is legal.
8113  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: First Crypto Hardware Wallet for Smartphone ? on: April 06, 2018, 08:36:41 PM
Never heard about this hardware wallet for smartphone and I think not all smartphone are OTG supported so only selected wallet could use this wallet.

Additional for above my post, not only ledger nano s could be used in mobile also, Trezor wallet could use in mobile and connect to mycelium wallet via otg cable.

Anyway, for safety, always use a hardware wallet, which is tested by many people like ledger nano and Trezor wallet.

Xeeda wallet is new and we don't know if it's actually safe or hackable or high secured wallet. Since it's new, there is a possibility that this wallet still had many bugs.

8115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Send to multiple addresses transactions hacking on: April 06, 2018, 05:22:18 PM
There's no problem with your transaction the other bitcoin was sent to your change addresses like the above said and it's for security purposes.

Anyway, in bitcoin core, you couldn't easily disable this feature, but you can change the change address to any address you want.

If you want to change your change address where you want to receive just follow the simple guide below.

In bitcoin core open settings>option then click wallet tab> check the "Enable coin control features" and then click ok.
Every time you send bitcoin you can see a box for coin control feature then just check the box and put your change address you want.
If you still want to disable change address I suggest that you switch to electrum wallet because you can easily disable the change address by going to settings and uncheck the change address.
8116  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Library loading error on the electrum app on: April 05, 2018, 10:50:12 PM
Does 3.0.6 work alright on that version, is there a way I can pick up that version of electrum from somewhere do you know?
Well, maybe you install the latest version of electrum with a bug and didn't work on jellybean version.

Anyway, you can download the APK version 3.0.6 in their electrum download directory check it here https://download.electrum.org/3.0.6/

Click the link with .apk and it should start downloading.

Let me know if it works in your phone or not and maybe I can suggest other solution if ever this version of electrum didn't work, but it should work because it works fine in my phone, my phone is Samsung note 2 4.1.1 jellybean version.
8117  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S7 board repair on: April 05, 2018, 10:29:48 PM
I forgot the name of the member here in the forum who offering to repair board. Much better to buy a new board instead than repairing the s7 board.
Anyway, maybe this thread could help you check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420909.0

And this site bitmainwarranty.com just found it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2728991.0
But I don't think if they are actually safe always make sure that you read the whole thread first for some reply or reviews so that you are far from scammers.
8118  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Library loading error on the electrum app on: April 05, 2018, 09:30:08 PM
My phone is samsung and we are the same version, but I didn't experience any error in my electrum wallet.

Possible your phone firmware is corrupted or maybe it's infected.

Try to scan your phone with free ESET anti virus or try to hard reset your phone, but first backup your important files before you do the hard reset just to refresh your phone firmware.

Anyway, I'm using electrum 3.0.6 for Android, but if you are using the latest one maybe it's a bug for low android version so I think better to report it to electrum team so that they can fix and release a latest one for android.

You can report it here https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues
8119  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bug: Editing Description from Context Menu on: April 05, 2018, 08:40:41 PM
Could you try to expand the description and check if the EUR still can edit the value?

Because to me, it's working fine try to increase the size of electrum wallet and maybe the description is behind the EUR amount that is why you think that you are editing the EUR value and let me know if what version of the wallet are you using?

Mine, I'm using electrum 3.0.6 and it works fine, but if expanding electrum doesn't work just report the issue here https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues

So that they can take action and release a new version.
8120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Windows Phone App for Bitcoin? Is there? on: April 05, 2018, 07:01:16 PM
Unfortunately there are way to less mobile apps for windows or iOS.
It is possible to run android apps on a windows phone. But this requires to connect the phone with your PC in debugging mode
and access/modify the firmware. Then you could simply copy an android .apk onto your phone and install it.

However, this is not recommended since messing with the firmware of your phone might cause some damage when not being careful.
I found a site with Android OS for windows phone, but looks like there are many known issues.

List of possible issues with android os in windows phone.
Quote
  • No RIL (no cellular networks at all)
  • WiFi does not workFixed in build 20170905
  • Bluetooth does not workFixed in build 20170905
  • Accelerometer does not work
  • There's no sound over headphone jack
  • Only official digitizer is supported
  • Camera does not work
  • For some people SD cards don't work
Source: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-lumia-520/development/unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-lumia-52x-t3525280

Anyway, I think it's not a good idea to change the OS of any windows phone. The only thing that I could suggest is to use any trusted online wallets like coinbase. This wallet as of now is still fine, but the problem you can't backup the private keys.

If you really want to save your bitcoin safety you must buy a laptop or cheap PC just to save your bitcoin locally.
