8141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What percentage of assets should be in Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2016, 04:25:50 AM
What is a safe percentage to invest into Bitcoin? How much of your net worth is currently in Bitcoin?

It entirely depends on you. As per your age you need to know your risk taking capability. If you are young, you may investment 30% of your invest-able surplus in to bitcoin.

Also bitcoin is a long term investment. So you have stay invested for long to get a good amount of profit. So accordingly take decision. Even though you can sell your investment anytime, but you may not fetch much profit in shorter term.
8142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Four Fascinating Ways To Get Free Bitcoins on: June 02, 2016, 11:04:42 AM
The ways mentioned in the article mostly the kiddish ways to earn. Only the poker playing will require some skills and nothing else.

All other ways mentioned are just worthless and waste of time. If you want to make good amount of bitcoin, then trading is the best way to do.

You need to study the market well and diversify between coins. You can make it big.
8143  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Members should leave religion matters out of Bitcoins discussions on: June 02, 2016, 10:48:46 AM
I strongly agree with you. Religion should be kept out of this forum.

Bitcoin is the best innovation of this decade and religion should not disturb the community of this technology lovers.

Religion only creates divisions and never done anything good to the mankind.

8145  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: TinderBTC (claims 0.1% profit per hour on btc investment): Scam or Legit? on: June 02, 2016, 08:02:27 AM
It is definitely a ponzi scheme. It is also known as HYIP. They usually pay in the beginning and once they start getting the opularity and more investment, they run away with the money.

Always avoid such kind of program for your own good. They can offer crazy interest rates just to lure you but getting your investment back from such programs is next to impossible.
8146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: June 02, 2016, 05:48:21 AM
There is no good or bad times to buy bitcoin if you are planning to hold it for long.

Holding bitcoin is itself an investment with huge upside potential. Don't consider bitcoin as a short term investment, but in long term, bitcoin is one of the best investment options available worldwide.

So don't think before you buy, just go ahead and buy.
8147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in India on: June 02, 2016, 05:43:24 AM
There are so many Indian using bitcoin and there are some website to spend bitcoin in India, bu they are mostly underground.

I know Indian Government is not bothered about bitcoin as of now. But if they start bothering, a crackdown will be arranged by SEBI.

So it is wise to hide your ass from the beginning.
8148  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: June 02, 2016, 05:40:41 AM
My answer would be "when I retire and ready to start a new life with lots of hope and positive energy".

I am really saving bitcoin for my future retired life. I am 30 now and have more 30 years to work. If I survive till I am 60, I will sell off a part of my bitcoin savings to buy a farm house and live the rest of my life as an agriculturist. That's my dream.

8149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: June 02, 2016, 04:39:20 AM
The guy is definitely trolling and the job is also got cancelled by the upwork team.

it may be possible to hack the bitcoin network but why a hacker capable of doing it, would pay the job owner 950 BTC? He would simple keep it for himself.

It is an idiotic idea to find hacker to earn money.
8150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if after a year bitcoin replaces all the world currencies? on: June 02, 2016, 04:31:46 AM
I am sure that bitcoin is not going to replace any of the world currencies. It doesn't have the power to do it because it is not regulated by a central agency.

Bitcoin by nature is decentralized and no nation would allow any decentralized currency to become its national currency.

I don't even think about it.
8151  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase just scammed me of 10k usd? on: June 01, 2016, 05:54:52 AM
I was expecting such kind of news sooner and later when coinbase problem surfaced.

Thanks to God, I have transferred all my BTC from coinbase to another wallet. I feel coinbase is going to be closed soon and that will create a lot of problem in BTC market.
8152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Amazon.com still resisting the use of BTC for payment? on: May 31, 2016, 08:50:55 AM
I think that companies like amazon are not accepting bitcoin for selling products due to its uncertain price movement.

The price of bitcoin can go upside down within one or two days. This kind of fluctuation in price is not good for business. Initially everyone hopes that bitcoin price will increase only. But for a business a contingency plan needs to be there if the price goes down. That is what stopping companies from accepting bitcoin.
8153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: May 31, 2016, 04:42:36 AM
Like any other business, casino is also a business and like every other business owners, casino owners want to make money. But if the script is provably fair, then you can expect few wins as well. It is the rule of every casino, that few members will loose and few members will win.

But remember the old saying, "the house always wins".
8154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like to hoard your BTC or spend it? on: May 31, 2016, 04:37:31 AM
I mostly like to hold my BTC because holding BTC is itself a investment with great potential. I have earned most of my bitcoin while the price was between $400 to $450 and now , BTC has touched $540, my holding value has appreciated as well. So holding bitcoin is also an investment and I am quite happy with the potential.

I do spend too but only if I get some good investment opportunity. I know some trusted borrowers in btcjam who has never failed a payment. I always investment in their loans ad earn interest on it. So it depends whether to hold or to spend.
8155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So cool - on: May 30, 2016, 08:09:31 AM
They have no idea what makes a blockchain work and why the Bitcoin blockchain is so successful. I've read the article from which you've attained that quote, and I'm not impressed. What makes them think that a privately run blockchain is incorruptible? The blockchain is nothing when it isn't decentralized and secured by various miners.

I personally think that both SegWit , halving block reward and the block size increase (next year) will make Bitcoin more popular and seen in a different way by those people .
No. That's not what happens. The quote is from ABN Amro which is a state-owned bank. Most of them will keep fighting Bitcoin until they're left with two options: 1) Go bankrupt. 2) Embrace Bitcoin.

True! Blockchain technology posses a real threat to the banks nowadays.

But one thing they need to remember, that fiat is still the most popular currency and they will remain the same. People will always prefer to invest the majority of the investable money to a regulated place where the security is at the highest.

Unfortunately, bitcoin does not provides any security. So I don't think they will have to worry.

8159  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: May 29, 2016, 09:45:24 AM
It certainly does but in a good way. At least I have not seen any negative effects on my life due to bitcoin.

It brings me joy because I like to earn money. I don't know why it will effect my life negatively but yes, it will effect me if I loose my bitcoins due to hacking or fraud. Otherwise, it only brings joy to my life.
8160  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does sending Bitcoins feel good? on: May 29, 2016, 09:40:19 AM
Ha ha ha ha!! Funny question!

It depends on where I am sending the bitcoin. If I am sending it to a very promising investment opportunity, it feels good.

If I am sending bitcoin to my other wallets, it feels good as well.
