8181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year on: August 17, 2018, 01:28:42 PM
I love these kinds of topics and posts. These are the topics that tells me the price will be going up soon. First you get the pump topics like this, prices go up and than people say oh bitcoin will be $100k and whatever, than the price goes down and people say prices will be like $2k soon, than you see these again and it goes up again on and on and on in a circle, you can literally check the topics here and assume what the price will be very easily. However, I don't think bitcoin can be $50k until the end of this year, is it impossible ? no. Is it probably ? also no. It would require a lot of good news and a great deal of people to come back after that horrible $10k drop in price.
8182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a bubble? on: August 17, 2018, 12:37:08 PM
Many people think that Bitcoin is like a bubble, so its price goes up rapidly to its peak and will plummet.
Please stop calling it a bubble, bubble needs to burst and worth really low, bitcoin has never been this high aside from month of December. There was an insane raise in price in December to $20k but if you remove December from the equation the price has never been this good in history so we are actually doing very well.

Just because there was a great 1 week period doesn't change a 10 year history of bitcoin. I think in order for bitcoin to be bubble we would need a lot more investors and we need the bubble to last more than just a week, if $20k or so lasted like months or even years and it was incredibly overpriced for long time than just one day crashed and stayed there, than we could call bubble, just one week of $20k and back to amazing prices doesn't make it bubble.
8183  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC holding it's own trend? on: August 17, 2018, 11:41:05 AM
Watching the markets closely and I find it interesting that while BTC has been trending up slightly over the past week, the majority of other alts are down or just wavering...could this be why BTC is trending up? Everyone is focusing on that? I thought it was interesting as normally we see everything move in tandem together but this time I'm not sure whether to invest in any alts given they seem to be going their own way...
People have already mentioned that bitcoin price increase usually means alts going down because of the valuation against each other.
But lets also not forget that when the bull market came, when bitcoin was 20 thousand dollars, there was all kinds of altcoins that went up in price. That means when bitcoin reached 20k, if that coin stayed at zero, not go down or not go up that means that coin made money on dollar value because its valued against bitcoin and bitcoin went in price. When it makes gains against btc, its double profit, both on price of btc and dollar value and both against btc increasing value.

Hence, it is not insane to assume when bitcoin go up, some alts may go up as well. This time it is not just "alts losing value against bitcoin" it is also "people are withdrawing from the market" as well. Which is worse if you ask me.
8184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you now going to hold when the market is red? on: August 17, 2018, 11:09:04 AM
I do not hold when market is red, I do not hold when market is green. I use it mostly (okay maybe I keep like couple hundred dollars there just in case) and that is my way of contributing to bitcoin. This is not a commodity that you own so you can later sell to make more money. This is "MONEY" itself. You gotta make money and sell money. Now I make my living with bitcoin since I work and the people I work with pays me bitcoin however when I get it I also either sell it or spend it directly. That way I keep a circulation of bitcoin, the person that pays me gets his bitcoin somewhere and I get my bitcoin from him and I give it to someone else which creates economy in itself.
8185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish again? (Back at $5500) on: August 17, 2018, 09:26:16 AM
I'm thinking $ 6000 already is the current hard support. Bitcoin will return to $ 10,000 in September. A lot of technical analysis is geared towards that
Bearish trend is currently existing in the market and we should not sell right now will be a foolish decision ever if you proceed for selling. Better decision is to invest more in the Bitcoin so that we have more coins in our wallet for we are looking to make huge or maximum profit in high market. High market is not far as it has taken too long to convert into bullish but we have to think for benefit only and the current benefit is to buy more.
This is really alarming. We are still in a downtrend and it is normal to see huge drops like this happen than huge buys. That is where the momentum comes in every trade and right now, the sell momentum is higher and the bears are still in control. It is something that is not easy for most new investors or traders to get used to in the market, which is why in this moment, it is always better to wait for very clear signals before making any move in the market. Being afraid of the market is the core reason why prices were driven out up to this levels.

A lot of people who really are confused about what is happening now are those who did not even understand what this space is like before even deciding to invest at all with quite a number of them just looking for ways to quickly get rich and wealthy in a short term. The best thing for anyone to be thinking of now is to see how to be buying the dips to take advantage of huge profit when the market picks up.
8186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you participate in an ICO? on: August 17, 2018, 08:26:57 AM
If yes, would you invest in technology or industrial projects?
May I know why you are very much specific only on these two sectors whereas lots of other sectors also profitable. I mean sector wise investment choices are good but it may lead to miss out some other good ICOs which are dealing with other sectors. I suggest you to expand your sectors along with more research and analysis.

Of course I would participate in an ICO, but not just any ICO, I will first of all make some research about it before any other steps that follows. I have also invested in technology and industrial projects once, that includes both offline and online. My friend once introduced one funding website where investors can invest in industrial projects, it’s just like buying shares and the more you buy the more your profit you will gain increases. I did it for like three months and then decided to quit and go for something bigger than that.
8187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better for hodl? ETC or NEO? on: August 16, 2018, 02:10:29 PM
Do your own research by referring coinmarketcap and find out such coins. But, please do not ask again to this community as people suggest some random coins rather than suggesting the actual.
Trade advises these days do not come for free and even if anyone should see a free one, it is better to at least have some trading knowledge to be able to get the best from the market. One thing however, is that the like of tradingview.com have some cryptocurrency pro traders that can be followed and some of them are actually good. Nevertheless, no trader can predict the future and they can as well be wrong at times, which is the main reason to always know what to do in such cases.

I must agree with you. People are recommending in open discussion the coins where they have invested already or promoting their own coins with alt accounts. This is only happening every topic of this board and in altcoin speculation board. I guess some serious steps are required to protect the welfare of this community which includes lots of novice and innocent investors.
8188  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks drops hint at plans to accept Bitcoin on: August 16, 2018, 01:40:40 PM
This would change sooo much. Not because people would start using bitcoin for this reason only. It is marketing, it is branding.
If some bitcoin based payment processor partnered with starbucks who has places all around the world is a global big news. If this ever happens than it means we are in luck and we are really early adapters. We also heard news about how facebook plans on buying coinbase as well.

News like this increases my hope but usually comes out empty, if a company as big as starbucks really goes deep into bitcoin I am 100% sure the price will be so high the ATH we have right now will look funny.
8189  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the reason of this sudden decline in BTC price? on: August 16, 2018, 01:09:58 PM
[siz e=15pt]Every passing month we hope that the cryptocurrency will go towards stability but our moral goes down whenever the prices plummet suddenly.

Is the price ever gonna get stable? Are there any ways we could make it stable without centralizing the system?
Usually when you look at the price of bitcoin you need to take a look at why its not going up. It is not going up because it has no reason to go up, bitcoin is what it is and for weeks we have not heard any good news or a big news that would affect the price.

It has been going down because people are not buying and the volume is going down. When people are not interested and not buying than the price goes down in spiral. Hence, you need to have constant "buyers" of bitcoin. Otherwise people who accept bitcoin as payment for their work will cash out, people who mine will sell to pay costs etc, so there is a stream of sellers, we need matching buyers.

Other than treasury of mtgox and India like countries regulation against bitcoin exchanges, FUDs from people and some economists are the prime reasons which caused the prices dragged down so sharply. In this community itself there are people who might have invested into some altcoins, who constantly start topics against the rise of bitcoin prices to make people sell down. Reasons could in 1000s but I hope bitcoin will have new ATH in coming months, let's watch and enjoy.
8190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: August 16, 2018, 12:22:57 PM
Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt
As I said in this year's new futures market
Such speculation has already allowed many former winners to Departure .
A good cryptocurrency platform/exchange wouldn’t go bankrupt easily just like that, it’s only all these new exchangers with no plans and most of them are scammers using bankruptcy as a way to escape with their plans. I would be happy if you mention any cryptocurrency exchange that went bankrupt, it will never be a reliable one, trust me. That’s why you are being advised not to go for any of those unreliable new exchanges.

in cryptocurrency there are over 80% people who have gone bankrupt but they are personally responsible for them. Either they have invested in a wrong time, the coin they have invested may be a wrong choice at that time or they may have not recognized the time to withdraw their funds and realize the profit needed.
Where you got that stats of 80% of people ? It is just an imaginary number ? I agree it is an anonymous world and everyone here scamming others if they find a chance also hackers are coming down with new and powerful tricks but when we are protecting ourselves as per prescribed mythologies then we may avoid regrets.
8191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I am buying bitcoins - and why I am keeping them. on: August 16, 2018, 09:01:47 AM
You’re very wrong by saying that cash is being devalued at all times, that’s totally wrong cause there are different currencies; we have dollar, pounds, euro, yen and a lot of them, and they all can’t be the same value at the same time, there will always be difference in value. So if you want you can make use of a high valued currency in storing your wealth. I am not going to discourage you from using Bitcoin as a way of storage, it’s a matter of choice, so I’m not going to change your mind.

Still I love the reasons you have mentioned why you are buying and saving bitcoins. I guess many people might have enlightened by your reasons. I am believing into only bitcoins even I do hear about lots of other coins performances. In other words if bitcoin will be having higher value then those altcoins also will have better value hence bitcoin must be the core reason and saving it will never let us go down.
8192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Four reasons that cryptocurrencies will revolutionize the online casino industry on: August 16, 2018, 07:32:26 AM
Hey OP, you are mentioning about the future revolutions but I am seeing all these are already happening with crypto based gambling industries as cryptos are almost 9 years old and if my memory is good, cryto based gambling is also serving us for the same amount of time and getting revolutionized day by day and honestly I am not getting surprised on the four things you took for considering on evaluating the revolution.

Compared to early 2000, now many of my friends are into gambling and other known people who are from gambling forbidden country, now enjoying gambling just due to crypto based gambling's evolution along with providing the at most anonymity and the features of gambling from home convenience. In near future, we may expect more such development to continue and this may help cryptos to each more people also gambling industry will move up to next level of development especially with gambler friendly enhancements.
8193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 15, 2018, 06:04:01 PM
Gambling is relay with both these things. Strategy and Luck.

Here I want to know which one is best in your belief. Please share your thoughts guys.

I believe in betting we can work around with tactics and it will be best option to make money out with gambling.

For dice roll, slot roll and poker games we definetely need the luck as a main factor.
A bit of both but mainly luck. I mean luck gets you wins, strategy gets you less losses. I can gamble for 10 hours straight with 10 dollars and not run out of money, that is strategy to me. However if I want to gamble with 10 dollars and make it to 100 dollars than that is luck. So, it depends on what you want from gambling, making money or having fun ?

If you want to have fun than there are strategies that will help you good results as in not lose too quickly but if you want to make money from gambling than you need to have lady luck on your side to help you with some good returns that is out of the house edge and to your side.
8194  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen after the last bitcoine is mined? on: August 15, 2018, 04:01:56 PM
Bitcoin will have problems with securing network way before all Bitcoins get mined. Most likely before mid of this century. How that will get tackle no one knows. Monero have great solution for it with tail emission that will kick in in 2023. So plenty of time for Bitcoin to see if Monero tail emission is bringing results and is also suitable for Bitcoin.
Most probably you have forgot about the TX fees.
In some assumptions, after ~100 years (or before the last bitcoin will be mined out), the total TX fees will be included into one block may sum-up into more than 50 BTC also (which is the original block reward). Then, why miners will go away and how bitcoin network will be unsecured ?
Yes, there will still be miners that works for transaction fee which would still generate some income however we don't know how much. This also begs the question that people who mine for bitcoin rewards are not going to stay (or at least not all of them will) when rewards are gone (it will never be technically "gone" but at least it will be very small reward) which means there will be less miners, which means slower confirmation times, and higher fee. Considering when the bitcoin reward is like this and we have problems of confirmation as it is, we really do need the lightning in order to not go crazy with fee prices and slow times.

In other perspective, there will be no possibility of mining out the last bitcoin or all 21 million bitcoins will be mined out in infinite time. Yes I mean, now one bitcoin is devised into 8 decimals and in future it may go 10 or 20 or even 100 decimal points also. It is possible with all electronic format thing.

When one satoshi is valuing one dollar then we will definitely need a new unit to divide 1 satoshi. This trend will continue until bitcoin finds a stable demand.
8195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price LIVE:BTC in danger of dropping to $4,000 ... on: August 15, 2018, 02:30:31 PM
I don't think it will be $4k ever again, $4k is just too small price for bitcoin to go down at a time where everyone is eyeing bitcoin for an extended investment to their already investing portfolio let alone people who do not ever hold a single stock yet have bitcoin put aside for their savings.

Bitcoin just became too big to ever go back down to $4k or even if it does would never stay there for a long period of time because we ALL know it worths a whole lot more than that. Hence if you ever see bitcoin at $4k, I suggest either buying as much as you can afford or check the news because something horrible might have happened.
8196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tighten your seat belts and hodl the bulls are coming. on: August 15, 2018, 01:46:17 PM
We have seen a big bull in December, we have seen a bear market for over 6 months now, there has been days of $8k and have been days of $5.8k and now at around $6.4k and what not. At this point I do not believe bitcoin can stay still. Either going down or up it will definitely move some direction because the volatility is caused by the smaller volume yet higher speculation Bull may come, I don't know if they will or if they won't but I know they are there, I know people who believe in bitcoin price going up is there, I just don't know what they are doing and what they are aiming at right now, maybe collect cheaper bitcoin slowly instead of going all at once?
8197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Start from somewhere on: August 14, 2018, 07:59:02 AM
Actually you shared a good things also who invest in market most of them may be don’t have enough knowledge but they are knowledgeable because at least they know some things yes its tough to understand but day by day people can know or understand this things. That why we need more investors.
Any smart person will definitely agree coupling with the fact that this market is just growing and there is really no way it will not keep developing the more into a much better space as time goes on. The volatility and the correction is what makes it even more interesting when it comes to having basic knowledge to trade the market long term to be able to make quality decisions when it comes to making huge profit from it. Now is the time to even start considering getting when the market is in its bottom.

If we work hard in developing our skills and knowledge on cryptocurrencies there is no way we would not make it in future and become the wealthy in our society.
But most new people are just following what we do discuss here and in worst case they are following the paid reviews. They are not ready to gain their knowledge from common sources but they look for direct recommendation. One new investor must look for finding basic knowledge and then must look into whitepapers for predicting the future of a coin and then finally must make their investment decisions.
8198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: August 14, 2018, 07:00:50 AM
At the moment, I think, you should invest in NEO, because they have very strong growth potential. NEO's technology is great, they can be used to create new coins. As for Ethereum, its value is decreasing in a pointless manner. If you invest in time they will probably have a lot of money.
There is really no need thinking. It is one of the coins really trying to make an impact in the space as well. Although Ethereum has taken over the ICO space and doing very fine with that, with NEO coming into the space to create some competition which of course is really going good for the project as well since we are beginning to see some usage on it too for some new ICOs. The devs are also working very hard with the Neo exchange and that is some step.

Anyone who is trading the market during a bear trend like this until there is a clear signal the bulls are in will only be making silly and risky trades as the altcoin market can drop down pretty fast than it would even go up at this stage. I believe NEO will be doing very great this year anyway, but we still have the possibility of experiencing some further downtrend, before we can start considering the long awaited movement for the altcoins this period.
8199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving out from litecoin on: August 14, 2018, 06:05:53 AM
I hold some litecoin and thinking to move into something other. I am thinking for Neo, what do you think will be a eisr choice?
Stick with litecoin or something else?

It's a good idea to move out of litecoin. Even its creator did that.
What you buy with that is clearly upto you. BTC and ETH are safe bet but you can have better profits with new coins.
I don't think medium priced and old coins like NEO would have any sudden rise in near future.
The fact that the creator did does not mean it should be the reason why anyone should be making the decision as well, lol. As for me though, I never really believed LTC was a serious hold. In the past if you noticed many veteran people on this forum notifying the purpose of introduction of litecoin was no more valid as scrypt algorithm is not resisting ASICs. But, litecoin is still big contributor to altcoin market volumes and marketcap calculations.

For long term, we really do not know what is in for any coin or token, but I feel there are more coins or tokens with a lot of huge prospect in the market than LTC, with NEO being one of them anyway as it looks to me like a sleeping giant waiting to explode to the moon.
8200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year 2018 will be GREEN? on: August 14, 2018, 05:19:10 AM
I actually have good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow BY END of year!

But I am not psychic!!..

Do you think we may end up in all GREEN by end of 2018?

the growth and happy investing of last years has not happened, but its only AUGUST.

YOUR THOUGHTS?...

Green or not and it can be determined after the announcement of ETF and that will be published by SEC at the end of next month. we will see that what will be happening next month and it looks so difficult to predict what has already happened with it this time. there was no a lot of clue about fundamental support of crypto.
So far, the year has been a red one and the prices remained down throughout the half of year but in July, the values started rising again and a record rise of more than $2000 was noted in the values of Bitcoin after a long time which took the value of Bitcoin to more than $8000. There is another fall now and loss of approximately $2000. So on the average, the year has been down so far but we hope that the market values of the cryptocurrencies will rise as so many experts predict. In positive side, we are having plenty of weeks left out with this year, if anything positive happens at least in one country around crypto then we may expect prices to skyrocket again. Lets wait and hope for green days to come surprise again in very quick possible time.
